Shabbat-Part 1

Exo 20:8“Remember the Sabbath (H7676) day, to set it apart. Exo 20:9“Six days you labour, and shall do all your work,Exo 20:10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath1 of יהוה your Elohim. You do not do any work – you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. Exo 20:11“For in six days יהוה made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore יהוה blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart.

When we read the ten commandments most of us take the commandments at face value, while Yasharal after the flesh stood in carnal ordinances they never understood the spirit in the letter. Yahusha revealed a fresh spiritual aspect to the commandments making the commandment not burdensome but at the same time man became more accountable to the commandment because only those with the circumcision in the heart made without the hands of men could/can walk in obedience seeing the goal and the fulfillment of Turah who is Mashiyach. Speaking about the cleansing and purifying according to Masha’s Turah the emissary uses the words ‘’fleshly regulations’’.

Heb 9:9 which was a parable for the present time in which both gifts and slaughters are offered which are unable to perfect the one serving, as to his conscience, Heb 9:10 only as to foods and drinks, and different washings, and fleshly regulations imposed until a time of setting matters straight. Yahusha’s perspective of the ten commandments could be seen in when he brought forth the exposition of what the command stood for:

Exo 20:13“You do not murder.

A person who would not kill with a sword would think he was not guilty because he took the commandment literally and fleshly but see what Yahusha said about murder.

Mat 5:21“You heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder,’ and whoever murders shall be liable to judgment. Mat 5:22“But I say to you that whoever is wroth with his brother without a cause shall be liable to judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raka!’ shall be liable to the Sanhedrin. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be liable to fire of Gehenna. Mat 5:23“If, then, you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother holds whatever against you, Mat 5:24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go, first make peace with your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

The emissary Yahuchanan said about murder

1Jn 3:14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. The one not loving his brother stays in death. 1Jn 3:15 Everyone hating his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has everlasting life staying in him. 1Jn 3:16 By this we have known love, because He laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. 1Jn 3:17 But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his tender affections from him, how does the love of Elohim stay in him? 1Jn 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

When you see a brother or sister in Yahuah and is in need of this world’s goods and in financial trouble if we don’t help him we are not displaying true love and where is no love there is hate. Hence we see more accountability from the commandment which was to bring life but brought death because those observing it didn’t have the work of Yahuah on their hearts and also did not understand the commandments to be qadash with the Ruach concealed in the letter.

Exo 20:14“You do not commit adultery.

Mat 5:27“You heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ Mat 5:28“But I say to you that everyone looking at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Mat 5:29“And if your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is better for you that one of your members perish, than for your entire body to be thrown into Gehenna.

Paul said he was alive apart from the Turah once, not that he was alive to the things of Yahuah but to his fleshly pleasing by obeying the Turah but when the command came which was supposed to bring him life he realized that it brought him death as he understood that the Turah was spiritual but he was fleshly and sold under sin (v 14 below)

Rom 7:9 And I was alive apart from the Torah once, but when the command came, the sin revived, and I died. Rom 7:10 And the command which was to result in life, this I found to result in death. Rom 7:11 For sin, having taken the occasion through the command, deceived me, and through it killed me. Rom 7:12 So that the Torah truly is set-apart, and the command set-apart, and righteous, and good. Rom 7:13 Therefore, has that which is good become death to me? Let it not be! But the sin, that sin might be manifest, was working death in me through what is good, so that sin through the command might become an exceedingly great Sinner. Rom 7:14 For we know that the Torah is Spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin. Rom 7:15 For what I work, I know not. For what I wish, that I do not practise, but what I hate, that I do. Rom 7:16 But if I do what I do not wish, I agree with the Torah that it is good. Rom 7:17 And now, it is no longer I that work it, but the sin dwelling in me.

And he realized that only Mashiyach could save him because now he is delighted to obey the Turah of Alahym according to the inward man but his flesh brings him to captivity to the law of sin which is in his flesh.

Rom 7:22For I delight in the Torah of Elohim according to the inward man,Rom 7:23 but I see another law in my members, battling against the Torah of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. Rom 7:24 Wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from this body of death? Rom 7:25 Thanks to Elohim, through יהושע Messiah our Master! So then, with the mind I myself truly serve the Torah of Elohim, but with the flesh the law of sin.

I can give examples of the other commandments but a twofold witness is sufficient to show that Yahuah’sTurah is spiritual so let’s now see Shabbat from a day perspective and the spiritual perspective, we will look also in a bit about the historical facts of Yasharal when they were in captivity/foreign soil. Today also people turning to call on name of Yahuah are very rigid with Masha s LITERAL CODE observance on foreign soil whereas Abraham looked to the heavenly country in which righteousness dwelt.

Heb 11:8 By belief, Aḇraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he was about to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. Heb 11:9 By belief, he sojourned in the land of promise as a stranger, dwelling in tents with Yitsḥaq and Yaʽaqoḇ, the heirs with him of the same promise, Heb 11:10for he was looking for the city having foundations, whose builder and maker is Elohim.

Now there are people who say that Abraham was living before Turah came but what they fail to see is that he knew that the land he was sojourning was the promised land to his seed but lived in it as a stranger because he was looking for the city having foundations whose builder and maker is Alahym. Moreover Paul says in the same chapter about ALL the father’s who believed in the promise of Alahym lived in the same manner

Gen 17:8“And I shall give to you and your seed after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Kenaʽan, as an everlasting possession. And I shall be their Elohim.”

Heb 11:13 In belief ALL these died, not having received the promisesbut seeing them from a distance, welcomed and embraced them, and confessed that they were aliens and strangers on the earth.

Heb 11:14 For those who speak this way make it clear that they seek a fatherland. Heb 11:15 And yet, if they had indeed kept remembering that place from which they had come out, they would have had the chance to return. Heb 11:16 from which they had come out, they would have had the chance to return. Heb 11:16 But now they long for a better place, that is, a heavenly. Therefore Elohim is not ashamed to be called their Elohim, for He has prepared a city for them.

So if the fathers who did not receive the promise looked for the heavenly country i.e. New Yerushalam then the Shabbat is more than a day because there remains a promise of Shabbat rest for the people of Yahuah.

Heb 4:8 For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that. 9 So there remains a Sabbath-keeping a for the people of Elohim

The ten commandment says honor the Shabbat and keep it holy.Six days you shall work but the 7th day Yahuah rested. Did Yahuah really rest? Didn’t Yahusha say he and his Father have been working all along? Hence the outward code stood in a spiritual honoring looking to New Yerushalam coming out of the 6 as the entire creation was made in 6 days and man is occupied in the carnal/fleshly cycle being incomplete in the number 6

John 5:16 And because of this the Yehuḏim persecuted יהושע, and were seeking to kill Him, because He was doing these healings on the Sabbath.
17 But יהושע answered them, “My Father works until now, and I work.”

Mat 12:1 At that time יהושע went through the grain fields on the Sabbath. And His taught ones were hungry, and began to pluck heads of grain, to eat. Mat 12:2 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to Him, “Look, Your taught ones are doing what is not right to do on the Sabbath!” Mat 12:3 But He said to them, “Have you not read what Dawiḏ did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him: Mat 12:4 how he went into the House of Elohim and ate the showbread which was not right for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests? Mat 12:5“Or did you not read in the Torah that on the Sabbath the priests in the Set-apart Place profane the Sabbath, and are blameless? Mat 12:6“But I say to you that in this place there is One greater than the Set-apart Place. Mat 12:7“And if you had known what this means, ‘I desire compassion and not offering,’ you would not have condemned the blameless. Mat 12:8“For the Son of Aḏam is Master of the Sabbath.”

Show bread: Exo 29:32“And Aharon and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, by the door of the Tent of Meeting, Exo 29:33 and they shall eat those offerings with which the atonement was made, to ordain them, to set them apart. But let a stranger not eat them, because they are set-apart.

Turah shows compassion, Daud and his companions were hungry when fleeing king Shaul and he approached Ahimelech the priest (1 Sam 21:1-6) who gave them the showbread to eat as he did not have common bread and yet Yahuah didn’t strike the priest or Daud and his companions because Yahuah ordained it.

Matthew 12:5 Yahusha said the priests profaned the Shabbath. How did they profane the Shabbat?

Joh 7:22“Because of this Mosheh has given you the circumcision – though it is not from Mosheh, but from the fathers – and you circumcise a man on the Sabbath. Joh 7:23“If a man can receive circumcision on the Sabbath, so that the Torah of Mosheh should not be broken (according to them), are you wroth with Me because I made a man entirely well on the Sabbath? Joh 7:24“Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”

The Turah clearly stated that the male child should be circumcised on the eighth day because his mother would be unclean for 7 days as in her monthly separation but they changed the day of circumcision to Shabbat instead of the eighth day of the mother’s purification thus profaning the Shabbat.

Lev 12:2“Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘When a woman has conceived, and has given birth to a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days, as in the days of her monthly separation she is unclean. Lev 12:3‘And on the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin is circumcised.

While the majority took their male sons to be circumcised on the Shabbat irrespective of the eight days counting of its mothers purification the true Yahudi’s obeyed the Turah in observing the circumcision to be done on the eighth day of the mothers purification and not on Shabbat. Even before the Turah was given Yahuah told Abraham that he and his seed needs to guard his covenant that he is making with him

Gen 17:9 And Elohim said to Aḇraham, “As for you, guard My covenant, you and your seed after you throughout their generations. Gen 17:10“This is My covenant which you guard between Me and you, and your seed after you: Every male child among you is to be circumcised. Gen 17:11“And you shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin, and it shall become a sign of the covenant between Me and you. Gen 17:12“And a son of eight days is circumcised by you, every male child in your generations, he who is born in your house or bought with silver from any foreigner who is not of your seed.

Yahuchanan the Immerser&Yahusha was circumcised on the eighth day of his mother’s purification

Luk 1:59 And it came to be, on the eighth day, that they came to circumcise the child. And they were calling him by the name of his father, Zeḵaryah.

Luk 2:21 And when eight days were completed for Him to be circumcised, His Name was called יהושע, the Name given by the messenger before He was conceived in the womb.

The tradition of circumcision on Shabbat came from the fathers who never understood the Turah of Alahym. In John 7:22 Yahusha says that Masha gave them the circumcision but it was not Masha but the fathers that you circumcise a man on Shabbat because Masha’s Turah said clearly that the child should be circumcised on the eighth day and not wait until Shabbat to be circumcised. But they never left an opportunity to accuse Yahusha for healing on Shabbat or his disciples eating corn in the corn fields on Shabbat. Yahusha goes on to say the Son of Adam is the Master of Shabbat. He upheld the Turah in letting them know that the Turah is spiritual and not fleshly. The tokens (pointed to the spiritual) and can be seen in the book of Genesis itself.

Ps 65:8 They who dwell in the ends of the earth are afraid of Your signs(H4480-man ) (H226 -aut); You make the morning and the evening shout for joy.

The word for signs is H226 owth-alaphuau tau which points to the spiritual and we see H4480 -man which means kind of/species before the token which categorizes the observers of the command as fleshly and spiritual.

Gen 1:14 And Elohim said, “Let lights come to be in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs (H226-aut) and appointed times (H4150-muead), and for days and years,

We also see the pattern in Gen 1 when Yahuah made everything it’s stated …and the evening and the morning were the first day…and the evening and the morning were the second day.

Gen 1:5 And Alahymcalled the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

We also see that the spiritual was hidden in the natural as stated in Gen 2:4

Gen 2:4 These are the births of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that יהוה Elohim made earth and heavens.

Man was created on the 6th day:

Gen 1:27 And Elohim created the man in His image, in the image of Elohim He created him – male and female He created them.

Gen 1:28 And Elohim blessed them, and Elohim said to them, “Bear fruit and increase, and fill the earth and subdue it, and rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over all creatures moving on the earth.” Gen 1:29 And Elohim said, “See, I have given you every plant that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed, to you it is for food. Gen 1:30“And to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the heavens, and to every creeping creature on the earth, in which there is life, every green plant is for food.” And it came to be so.Gen 1:31 And Elohim saw all that He had made, and see, it was very good. And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the sixth day.

When we read Psalms 65:8 we read the continuity into a complete cycle of evening to evening when the sons of Alahym shouted for joy being complete into the day of Yahuah entering the rest ‘’ They who dwell in the ends of the earth are afraid of Your signs (H4480-man ) (H226 -aut); You make the morning and the evening shout for joy’’.

Known to Alahym are all his works from the beginning of the world and Yahuah says to Ayob ‘’Job 38:4 Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if you have understanding.

Job 38:5Who set its measurements, if you know? Or who stretched the line upon it? Job 38:6 Upon what were its foundations sunk? Or who laid its corner-stone, Job 38:7 when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of Elohim shouted for joy?‘’

From a spiritual understanding the corner-stone is Yahusha as all are measured into him the heykal/mishkanoth of Yahuah as we are all built upon him into a spiritual house and the morning stars are the elect who prophetically in Yahuah’s rest shouted for joy-here Yahuah speaks as though this has already happened but it’s speaking of the new heavens and the new earth because these heavens and the earth are going to be destroyed by fire.

Eph 2:20 having been built upon the foundation of the emissaries and prophets, יהושע Messiah Himself being chief corner-stone, Eph 2:21 in whom all the building, being joined together, grows into a set-apart Dwelling Place in יהוה,

Eph 2:22 in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of Elohim in the Spirit.

Isa 28:16 Therefore thus said the Master יהוה, “See, I am laying in Tsiyon a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious corner-stone, a settled foundation. He who trusts shall not hasten away. Isa 28:17 And I shall make right-ruling the measuring line, and righteousness the plummet. And the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lying, and the waters overflow the hiding place.

Rom 4:17 as it has been written, “I have made you a father of many nations” – in the presence of Him whom he believed, even Elohim, who gives life to the dead and calls that which does not exist as existing, Rom 4:18 who against all expectation did believe, in expectation, so that he should become father of many nations, according to what was said, “So shall your seed be.”

The promised seed was Mashiyach and all those who believe in MashiyachYahusha.

Coming back to Psalms 65:8 his elect are the only ones who understand and fear his tokens/signs because they point to the spiritual fulfillment in Mashiyach and shout for joy when they enter the alaphshanah i.e. the thousand years.

2Pe 3:8 But, beloved ones, let not this one matter be hidden from you: that with יהוה one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Not even one of our fathers lived a thousand years and they all fell short. The longest one to live was Methuselah who lived for 969 years.

Ge 5:27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

Man fell short of the one day but in Psalms 65:8 we see the complete day from an evening to evening as we enjoin (Gen 1:31- when man was created on) the 6th day to the 7th day and this is the Day of Yahuah when he comes in the fierceness of his wrath to visit the transgressions of the wicked in

cutting them off from life into the second death but his elect enter into the alaphshanah (thousand years) i.e. immortality in Mashiyach.

Hence we must read Gen 2 rest in the light of the works being finished from the foundation of the world and we read in Gen 2:4 that the heavens and the earth were created on the day YahuahAlahym made the earth and the heavens.

Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their array.

Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day Elohim completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.

Gen 2:3 And Elohim blessed the seventh day and set it apart, because on it He rested from all His work which Elohim in creating had made.

Gen 2:4 These are the births of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that יהוה Elohim made earth and heavens.

Heb 4:1 Therefore, since a promise remains of entering into His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.

Heb 4:2 For indeed the Good News was brought to us as well as to them, but the word which they heard did not profit them, not having been mixed with belief in those who heard it.

Heb 4:3For we who have believed do enter into that rest, as He has said, “As I swore in My wrath, if they shall enter into My rest...” And yet His works werefinished from the foundation of the world.

Heb 4:4 For somewhere He has said thus about the seventh day, “And Elohim rested on the seventh day from all His works,”

Heb 4:5 and in this again, “If they shall enter into My rest...”

Heb 4:6Since then it remains for some to enter into it, and those who formerly received the Good News did not enter in because of disobedience,

Heb 4:8 For if Yoshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that.

Heb 4:9 So there remains a Sabbath-keeping for the people of Elohim.

The promise is yet to be fulfilled

Ex31:16 So the sons of Yisrael shall keep the Alaph Thu ( H853)

Shabbat, to celebrate the Alaph Thu Shabbat throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.

Ex31:17 It is a AlaphUau Thu (sign: Hebrew word 'owth') between Me and the sons of Yisrael forever; for in six days Yahuah made heaven and earth, but on the seventh day He ceased and was refreshed.

The AlaphUau Thu is a connector to the previous Alaph Thu used in the verse before Shabbat and shows that the physical sign was pointing to the spiritual rest that we would enter when the Messiah would come.

James the emissary (apostle) speaks of the raising up of the tabernacle of Daud (David) which was fallen down and speaks of Gentiles coming into the faith upon whom his name is called and then goes on to say “ Known unto Aluahym are all his works from the beginning of the world”

Acts15:18 Known unto Aluahym are all his works from the beginning of the world

This all ties up so beautifully. We see the nail in the name of Daud (David) ‘DaletUauDalet’ (Doorway nailed to the Doorway). Heavens doorway nailed to the earthly doorway and only those having spiritual eyes can see Messiah standing, securing and surrounding the house.

Heb 8:2 a minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle, which the Master pitched, not man.

Let’s see the breakup of the word Shabbat:

The vowel points added to the words by Masoretes make the same words sound differently and mean differently but the letters used are the same. Hence there are many variations to the same word.

Shab H7725: (Verb) Means Return/turn back

The first letter is the (shin - Sh) a picture of the teeth meaning to press. The second letter, (beyt - B) is the picture of the tent or home. Combined, these two letters form the word Shab representing a pressing to the tent and means to return.

Hence Shabbat means ‘Press into (Shin) Bet (House) of Covenant (Tau)’

Bath: Bet (House) Thu (Covenant) means ‘Daughter’

Ge 11:29 And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram's wife was Sarai; and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter (Bath) of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah.
Shabbat put together is ‘Return O Daughter’

Bath H1324: Bet (house) Tau (Covenant) also is a Hebrew Measure’

1Ki 7:26 And it was an hand breadth thick, and the brim thereof was wrought like the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies: it contained two thousand BATH (Bet Tau) -H1324

Eze 45:11 The Ephah (H374) and the bath (H1324) shall be of one measure, that the bath may contain the tenth part of an homer, and the Ephah the tenth part of an homer: the measure thereof shall be after the homer.

The Bath is equal to Ephah which was used in sin offering. The context of Ezekiel is to have a just Ephah and a just Bath in measuring justice.

Hence Shabbat means ‘Returned Measure’. It is what Yahuah gives us as just measure to save us in Yahusha and what we give in return to him in obeying him.

The verb SHAB is also rooted in the Hebrew word ‘Shabay’ (H7650) Shin Bet Ayin which means ‘To swear’

Bath- H1323 means ‘daughter’. Hence the words ‘Shaba Bath’ (from where the word ‘Shabbat’ is rooted) put together means ‘Oath of a daughter’

Reverse of Shaba bath is ‘BathShaba’-H1339

The name ‘BathShaba’ means ‘Daughter of Oath’

Shelomoh was the son of BathShaba and being in the Covenant he prophesied of the love of Aluahaym towards the daughter of Tsiyown as her husband and maker and the love of Tsiyown to her husband and maker in a marriage oath.

Song 2:16 My beloved is mine, and I am his: he feedeth among the lilies.

Isa 54:5 For thy Maker is thine husband; Yahuah of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The Aluahaym of the whole earth shall he be called.

Yahusha is our husband and we are of his flesh and of his bones.

The same word ‘Shabay’ also means ‘seven’ H7651

Bath also means ‘measure’

Hence put together ‘Seven measures’ which is a complete measure.

Shabbat in the New Testament:

Col 2:16 Let no one therefore judge you in dabar food, or drink, or in respect of a festival or RasheyChadashim (new months) or Shabbats.Col 2:17 which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of the Mashiyach.

Paul is not saying that “Let no one therefore judge you “for NOT eating dabar food or observing feasts of Yahuah or Shabbat which are a shadow of things to come but Paul is saying “ Let no one therefore judge you when you eat dabar food or observing feasts of Yahuah or Shabbat which are a shadow of things to come”. The churches take the former interpretation whereas the latter is true because Paul goes on to say ” …but the body is of the Mashiyach”

The Pharisees accused Yahusha for not observing the Shabbat because they had a different carnal meaning to Shabbat and did not see the compassion of the Savior in redeeming his creation from vanity. They only observed a literal day because it was commanded. They did not understand the spiritual in the natural.

Matt12:7 “But if you had known what this means, ‘I desire compassion, and not a sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent.” (Hos 6:6)

Matt12:8 “For the Son of Man is also Master of the Shabbat.”

'The body is of Mashiyach' can be seen where Yahusha says of himself that he is greater than the physical temple of the Jews because he understood perfectly what Shabbat meant and observed it perfectly and quoted Hosea 6:6

Hos 6:6 For I desired in mercy and not sacrifice, and in the knowledge of Aluahym rather than burnt offerings.

The knowledge of Aluahym (spiritual) in the physical (like burnt offerings & Shabbat) is what the desire of Aluahym was. 'The body of Mashiyach' is the observation of the Turah in seeing that we are now his body and the sanctification of the body is what Turah teaches.

Heb 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

We need to go into the Ruach beyond the flesh to see the spiritual fulfillment of the promise of the Shabbat rest which stood in a Day observance signifying the Day of Yahuah which is the alaphshanah

The Renewed Testament assemblies met on first of the Shabbats:

We must understand facts from acts of the apostles scroll, it was a transition time from being a carnal Yahudi to being a spiritual Yahudi and hence a doctrine cannot be established based on the acts of men of Yah who acted in a certain way. For example, Paul purified himself and shove his hair in an oath to show that he kept the outward form of Turah carnal ordinances so that he doesn’t become a stumbling block to the believing Yahudi’s.

Act 21:17 And when we had arrived in Yerushalayim, the brothers received us gladly.

Act 21:18 And on the following day Sha’ul went in with us to Yaʽaqoḇ, and all the elders came.

Act 21:19 And having greeted them, he was relating one by one what Elohim had done among the gentiles through his service.

Act 21:20 And when they heard it, they praised the Master. And they said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands of Yehuḏim there are who have believed, and all are ardent for the Torah.

Act 21:21“And they have been informed about you that you teach all the

Yehuḏim who are among the gentiles to forsake Mosheh, saying not to circumcise the children nor to walk according to the practices.

Act 21:22“What then is it? They shall certainly hear that you have come.

Act 21:23“So do this, what we say to you: We have four men who have taken a vow.

Act 21:24“Take them and be cleansed with them, and pay their expenses so that they shave their heads. And all shall know that what they have been informed about you is not so, but that you yourself also walk orderly, keeping the Torah.

Act 21:25“But concerning the gentiles who believe, we have written and decided that they should keep themselves from what is offered to idols, and blood, and what is strangled, and whoring

Act 21:26 Then Sha’ul took the men on the next day, and having been cleansed with them, went into the Set-apart Place to announce the completion of the days of separation – until the offering should be presented for each one of them.

We see in verse 20 for the sake of the Yahudi who believed in Mashiyach but were still zealous for the Turah were misinformed that Shaul taught against Masha’s Turah whereas Shaul taught about Mashiyach being the fulfillment/goal of the Turah and he taught the ruach in the letter in Masha’s Turah.

In our study ‘Beloved’ we saw how the early Yahudi’s met in synagogues where they assembled and many of these synagogues with their ruler turned to Yahusha.

Paul was reasoning in the synagogues every Sabbat and won over both Yahudi and the Yunani (Greek speaking Yahudi’s) and some of these entire synagogues turned with their ruler to Mashiyach and we have two names listed of the rulers who had turned to Mashiyach.

Act 18:4 And he was reasoning in the synagogue every Sabbath, and won over both Yehuḏim and Greeks.

Act 18:8 And Crispus (Q’riys’pos), the ruler of the synagogue did believe in the Master with all his household. And many of the Corinthians, hearing, believed and were immersed.

Q’riys’pos is a Greek name and he was ruler of a Yahudi synagogue which

shows he was a Yahudi in dispersion and he came back to the fold of Yasharal having believed in Yahusha ha Mashiyach.

Acts18:17 And all the Greeks took hold of Sosthenes, the leader of the synagogue, and beat him in front of the judgment seat. But Gallio was not concerned about any of these things.

Paul mentions the name of Sostheneswhere the assembly of Corinth met every Shabbat.

1Co 1:1Sha’ul, a called emissary of יהושע Messiah by the desire of Elohim, and brother Sosthenes,

1Co 1:2 to the assembly of Elohim which is at Corinth, to those who are set-apart in Messiah יהושע, called set-apart ones, with all those calling on the Name of יהושע Messiah our Master in every place, theirs and ours:

1Co 1:3Favour to you and peace from Elohim our Father and the Master יהושע Messiah.

Paul also mentions of immersing ‘Q’riys’pos’ which again shows that the people met on Shabbat in the synagogue where ‘Q’riys’pos’ was the ruler.

1Co 1:14 I thank Elohim that I immersed not one of you except Crispus and Gaios,

Gaios must also have been a ruler of a synagogue in Corinth and Paul is showing he baptized no one else except the rulers of the synagogues who believed in Mashiyach. That’s where they met to break bread on one of the Shabbats.

The same situation was in the land of Yasharal as many rulers believed in Mashiyach but they feared the Pharisees and did not openly confess Mashiyach lest they be put out of the synagogues.

John12:42 Nevertheless many even of the rulers believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they were not confessing Him, lest they would be put out of the synagogue;

It was a custom of the Yahudi’s to assemble in synagogues for reading of Turah

Luk 4:16 And He (Yahusha) came to Natsareth, where He had been brought up. And according to His custom, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.

Luk 4:17And the scroll of the prophet Yashayahu was handed to Him. And having unrolled the scroll, He found the place where it was written:

Luk 4:18“The Spirit of יהוה is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to bring the Good News to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send away crushed ones with a release,

Luk 4:19to proclaim the acceptable year of יהוה.”

Luk 4:20 And having rolled up the scroll, He gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all in the congregation were fixed upon Him.

Luk 4:21 And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been filled in your hearing.”

Mar 1:21 And they went into KepharNaḥum, and immediately on the Sabbath He went into the congregation and taught.

Act 13:13 And having put out from Paphos, Sha’ul and those with him came to Perge in Pamphulia. And Yoḥanan, having left them, returned to Yerushalayim.

Act 13:14 But passing through from Perge, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day and sat down.

Act 13:15 And after the reading of the Torah and the Prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent to them, saying, “Men, brothers, if you have any word of encouragement for the people, speak.”

This was the custom of the Yahudi’s and the Grecians (Greek speaking Yahudi’s) to gather in synagogues on Shabbat and many of the synagogues with their rulers turned to Mashiyach where they met to break bread.

Act 17:1 And having passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonike, where there was a bet kenesseth/synagogue of the Yehuḏim.

Act 17:2And according to his custom, Sha’ul went in unto them, and for three Sabbaths was reasoning with them from the Scriptures,

Act 17:3 explaining and pointing out that the Messiah had to suffer and rise

again from the dead, and saying, “This is the Messiah, יהושע, whom I proclaim to you.”

Acts20:7 On one of the Shabbats, when the disciples (they) were gathered together to break bread, Shaul preached to them, intending to leave the following day, and he prolonged his message until midnight.

Acts 16:13 And on the day of the Shabbat we went outside the gate to a riverside, where we were supposing that there would be a place of prayer; and we sat down and spoke to the women who had assembled.

Synagogue is a Greek term and in Hebrew it’s called ‘Bet Kenneset’ which means ‘house of assembly’ or ‘Bet Tefila’ which means ‘House of prayer’

The message was to the Messenger of the qahal/assembly in Philadelphia which was a faithful assembly showing this assembly had turned completely to Mashiyach. In the message to this assembly Mashiyach mentions he would give up those of the kensseth/synagogue of Shatan who say they are Yahudi but are not and are lying to come and worship in their assembly to show them that I love you.

Rev 3:7“And to the messenger of the assembly in Philadelphia write, ‘He who is set-apart, He who is true, He who has the key of Dawiḏ, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens, says this:

Rev 3:8“I know your works – see, I have set before you an open door, and no one is able to shut it – that you have little power, yet have guarded My Word, and have not denied My Name.

Rev 3:9“See, I am giving up those of the kenesseth of Satan, who say they are Yehuḏim and are not, but lie. See, I am making them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.

Rev 3:10“Because you have guarded My Word of endurance, I also shall guard you from the hour of trial which shall come upon all the world, to try those who dwell on the earth.

Rev 3:11“See, I am coming speedily! Hold what you have that no one take your crown.

This shows that this assembly was a kenesseth who had turned to Mashiyach completely and Mashiyach speaks of leading the carnal Yahudi’s in the kenesseth of Shatani.e those who don’t know him to come to this assembly

and make himself known to them through them.

Yahusha rose on Shabbathto fulfill the rest of the 7th day in which Aluahym who saw his works and rested when he saw on the doorway of his creation Mashiyach the fulfillment of his work while the fact was he was still working and still is in leading his people unto himself in Mashiyach.

Ex 31:13 And you, speak to the sons of Yisrael, saying, You shall surely keep My Alaph Thu Shabbats; for this is a sign (AlaphUau Thu) between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am Yahuah who sanctifies you.

Shabbat is more than a day. Outside of Yasharal it became impossible for the Yahudi's in dispersion as the law of the land they settled down in didn’t have a Shabbat day holiday and hence the Yahudi's living in Yasharal looked down on these Grecians called as Hellenists because they couldn't observe the letter code in a strange land. Moreover when the Yahudi's went into Babylon captivity they couldn't observe Shabbat or any feasts of Yahuah in a strange land

2Chr36:21 to fulfill the word of Yahuah by the mouth of YirmeYahu (Jeremiah), until the land had enjoyed its Shabbats. All the days of its desolation it kept its Shabbat, to fulfill seventy years.

If we are spiritual Yahudi's and have crossed over from the pagan religions of the world we cannot ignore the ‘Shabbaton Shabbat’ because it was ordained perpetually for all generations for our sanctification. It’s just the perspective from how we see it. If you are a stranger and sorjourner on this earth as all our fathers were looking to the heavenly country weeping and groaning to be clothed from above you are honoring the Shabbat to keep it qadash for the work of the Turah is being shown on your heart and not in a day carnal observance on being on facebook doing ShabatShalum, listening to songs, chatting with each other, tuning in to some group preacher preaching etc. Today also people turning to call on name of Yahuah are very rigid with Masha s LITERAL CODE observance on foreign soil whereas Abraham looked to the heavenly country in which righteousness dwelt. The ten commandment says honor the Shabbat and keep it holy.

Psa 39:12“Hear my prayer, O יהוה, And give ear to my cry; Do not be silent at my tears; For I am a stranger with You, A sojourner, as all my fathers were.

If you are a stranger and sojourner on this earth pressing to enter into Heavenly Yerushalam you are honoring the Shabbat to keep it qadash.

Shabbat in Lev 23 is listed among the muaedim/feasts of Yahuah

Matt24:20 “But pray that your flight shall not be in winter, or on the Shabbat.”

Matt24:21 “For then there shall be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall.”

As in my previous videos I shared on 7 high shabbats called Shabatun were to be observed in some muaedim of Yahuah

The high Shabbats:ShabatShabatun

1) 15th day of the first month-1st day of Unleavend bread and end of Passover (Lev 23:6-7)
2) High Shabbat at the end of Unleavened bread- Lev 23:8). The morrow of the Unleavened bread the 'First fruits' were brought and waived before Yahuah
3) Seven Shabbats were to be counted from the day when the 'firstfruits' were offered (Lev 23:15-16) and the morrow of the 49 days making it 50 they were to present a new grain offering to Yahuah. This same day was to be a high Shabbat (verse 21)
4) First day of the blowing of trumpets in the 7th month was a high Shabbat (Lev 23:24-25)
5) High Shabbat on Day of Atonement (Lev 23:27-28)
6) High Shabbat on first day of Feast of booths (Lev 23:35)
7) High Shabbat on the eighth day of Feast booths (Lev 23:36)

7 complete high Shabbats.

Man who is in the 6 is trampling these 7 Shabbat Shabatun 6 x 7 = 42

Rev 11:1 And a reed like a measuring rod was given to me, and the messenger stood, saying, “Rise and measure the Dwelling Place of Elohim, and the altar, and those worshipping in it.

Rev 11:2“But cast out the court which is outside the Dwelling Place, and do

not measure it, for it has been given to the gentiles/guym, and they shall trample the set-apart city under foot for forty-two months.

Those who do not understand the Shabbat and the Master of Shabbat are trampling the outer court for 6 Shabbat Shabbatun.

Today the whole earth is overrun by Shatan’s false basarah. People greet each other Shabbat Shalum without knowing what the true Shabbat is.

Yasharal’s historical perspective: When the Yahudi's went into Babylon captivity they couldn't observe Shabbat or any feasts of Yahuah in a strange land

Psalms 137:1 By the rivers of Baḇel, There we sat down and we wept As we remembered Tsiyon.

2 We hung our lyres Upon the willows in the midst of it.

3 For there our captors Asked us for the words of a song, And our plunderers for rejoicing, saying, “Sing to us a song of Tsiyon!”

4 How could we sing the song of יהוה On foreign soil?

We already read of the 70 years captivity of Yasharal as prophesied by the prophet YermeYahu stating the land enjoyed her Shabbats 70 years in desolation. Who were left behind to enjoy the rest, the extremely poor of the land.

2 Chr 36:21 in order to fill the word of יהוה by the mouth of Yirmeyahu, until the land had enjoyed her Sabbaths. As long as she lay waste she kept Sabbath, until seventy years were completed.

70 years is one full generation.

Psa 90:9 For all our days have passed away in Your wrath, We spend our years like a whisper.

Psa 90:10The days of our lives are seventy years; Or if due to strength, eighty years, Yet the best of them is but toil and exertion; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

While Yasharal went into captivity in Babylon the poor of the land rested in

eating the wealth and the fields and houses they left behind for them.

Jer 52:16 But Neḇuzaraḏan, chief of the guard, left some of the poor of the land as vinedressers and farmers.

The great day of Yahuah is the Shabbath when his elect would be in perpetual rest in Mashiyach while the wicked destroyed.

Jer 16:9 For thus says Yahuah of hosts, the AL of Yisrael: Behold, I shall cause to cease from this place, before your eyes and in your time, the voice of rejoicing and the voice of gladness, the voice of the groom and the voice of the bride.

Rev18:22 And the sound of harpists and musicians and flute-players and trumpeters shall not be heard in you any longer; and no craftsman of any craft shall be found in you any longer; and the sound of a mill shall not be heard in you any longer;

Rev 18:23 and the light of a lamp shall not shine in you any longer; and the voice of the bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you any longer; for your merchants were the great men of the earth, because all the nations were deceived by your sorcery

Compare the above 2 verses and you will see it speaks of carnal Yasharal with his blood moon calendar observing feasts and Shabbath of Yahuah in a strange land without discernment and sending greeting ShalumShalum when there is no Shalum

Jer 6:14 They have healed the brokenness of My people lightly, saying, Peace (Shalum), peace (Shalum), but there is no peace (Shalum).
