Bakarah/Birthright

We read for the first time on the word translated as 'Birthright' in the Esau and Yaaqob account and hidden in this account is Mashiyach. This short study is an exposition on what the birthright means and how it is given to the younger brother in giving him the right to the inheritance to the firstborn.

The Abary word for 'birthright' is bakarah/bakurah and is the Strong's number H1062

Gen 25:31  But Yaʽaqoḇ said, “Sell me your birthright/ Barakah (H1062) today.”

The word comes from the root word 'bakur/bakar' which means 'firstborn/firstfruits' H1060

The word 'bakarah' has the root words 'Bar' (H1248) which means 'Son', 'Rah' which means to 'fear' (H7297), 'Karah/Kar' (H3738) which means 'to dig/open out' & 'barah' (H1262) which means 'to eat/give meat'

This word is closely related to the word 'barak' which means to bless or 'barakah' which means 'blessing'

Hidden within the word 'bakarah' is the story of Esau and Yaaqob as it's the story of the Sons/Bar both claiming to be inheritor of the blessing/barakah, one stronger than the other, one fearing/rah the other, opening out/karah the savoury meat which typified the meat/barah the Son would give through his Sonship.

It's amazing to see the word 'Edom' is spelled the same way as 'Adam' is spelled

Gen 25:30  And Ěsaw said to Yaʽaqoḇ, “Please feed me with that same red/Adam (H122) stew, for I am weary.” That is why his name was called Eḏom (H123).

The red stew the word for 'red' there is 'adam'. Esau sold the firstfruits for adam/red.He was the firstborn and hence he became father of Edom/Adam, carnal from dust.

While Yaaqob the younger brother took away the firstfruits which belonged to the eldest son. The 'bakarah' is Mashiyach. Mashiyach is the bakarak/firstfruits, the handing over the bakarah/firstfruits to the younger brother was in the perfect will of Yahuah as he ordained it this way. Let's see how:

It's amazing to see Yahusha calls us his brethren.

Heb 2:12  saying, “I shall announce Your Name to My brothers,in the midst of the congregation I shall sing praise to You.”

Yahusha came as the first fruits and we are kind of firstfruits.

Col 1:15 He is the image of the invisible the Elohim, the firstborn/bakur of all creation.
Col 1:18 He is the head of the body, the assembly; who is the beginning, the firstborn/bakur from the dead, so that He might have the preeminence in everything.

Mashiyach is the bakur/bakar over all creation and also bakur/bakar from the dead and in all things is preeminent. He is before all things and by him all things consist. We have received the Ruach/Spirit of adoption making us kind of firstfruits/bakarah of his creatures having the bakarah of his Ruach and one day we will be transformed into his image and likeness to inherit the barakah of the Son.

Jam 1:18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits/bakarah among His creatures.

Rom 8:23 And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits/bakarah of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.

Rev 14:4 These are the ones who have not been defiled with women, for they have kept themselves chaste. These are the ones who follow after the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from among men as first fruits/bakarah to Elohim and to the Lamb.

Mashiyach is the elder brother/ahk

The Abary word for Esau:

Ashu/Esau- ayin/eye shin/destroys the uau/nail

He sold his bakarah to Yaaqob his younger brother and it was said the older shall serve the younger.

Gen 25:23  And יהוה said to her, “Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples shall be separated from your body. And one people shall be stronger than the other, and the older/rab serve the younger/tsaur.”

Matt 23:8 “But do not be called Rabbi/Rabay; for One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers.”

The word 'Rabay'/Rabbi has the root word 'rab' and the two nations in the womb is the separation of Mashiyach and his seed and Adam and his seed, one heavenly which will be stronger than the other and the older/rab will serve the younger/tsaur is fullfilled by Mashiyach who strengthens his brethren by serving them.

The word 'tsaur' translated as 'young' has the root word 'tsar' which means 'enemy/trouble/distress/affliction/sorrow'. It also has the root word 'tsur' which means 'besiege/assault/sharp edge/rock or flint/strength'. It also has the root word 'ar' which means 'naked/bare skin'.

Tsar:

Tsur:

Ar:

The rab/elder who was our Rabay our Master himself served the younger/tsaur who was naked/ar, enemy/tsar and one who assaulted/tsur him.

The prophesy finds its fulfillment in Mashiyach who is the older who served the younger by giving us his birthright to make us sons of Alahym.

Joh 1:12  But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of Elohim, to those believing in His Name,
Joh 1:13  who were born, not of blood nor of the desire of flesh nor of the desire of man, but of Elohim.

He became a servant and washed his disciples feet.

In Esau and Yaaqob account is hidden the Barakah who is Mashiyach who took the hate and death upon himself to redeem his younger brother.

It was  written Yaaqob have I loved but Esau have I hated

Mal 1:2  “I have loved you,” said יהוה. “But you asked, ‘In what way have You loved us?’ “Was not Ěsaw Yaʽaqoḇ’s brother?” declares יהוה. “And I love Yaʽaqoḇ,
Mal 1:3  but I have hated Ěsaw, and have laid waste his mountains and his inheritance for the jackals of the wilderness.”
Mal 1:4  If Eḏom says, “We have been beaten down, let us return and build the ruins,” יהוה of hosts said thus: “Let them build, but I tear down. And they shall be called ‘Border of Wrongness’, and the people against whom יהוה is enraged forever.

Rom 9:13  as it has been written, “Yaʽaqoḇ I have loved, but Ěsaw I have hated.”
Rom 9:14  What, then, shall we say? Is there unrighteousness with Elohim? Let it not be!
Rom 9:15  For He says to Mosheh, “I shall favour whomever I favour, and I shall have compassion on whomever I have compassion.”
Rom 9:16  So, then, it is not of him who is wishing, nor of him who is running, but of Elohim who shows favour.

There is no unrighteousness with Alahym, he demonstrated by loving Yaaqob and placing his hate/wrath on Mashiyach who paid the price for his younger brother by willfully giving him his birthright/bakarah.

That's why we prevail over Edom/ Adam in Mashiyach. The red/adam given over to Edom/Adam, while the Barakah -birthright to The younger brother.

YashaYahu 63:1  Who is this coming from Eḏom/Adum, with garments of glowing colours from Botsrah, who is robed in splendour, striding forward in the greatness of His strength? “It is I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”
2  Why is there red/ ADAM on Your raiment, and Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?
3  “I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the peoples no one was with Me. And I trod them down in My displeasure, and I trampled them in My wrath. Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, and I have defiled all My raiment.

Check these scriptures above where it speaks of Mashiyach.

Psalms 108:9  “Mo’aḇ is My wash-pot, Over Eḏom/Adum I cast/shalak My shoe/naal or naalah (H5275), Over Philistia I raise a shout.”

10  Who would bring me into the strong city? Who shall lead me to Eḏom?

'naal' has the root word ayl which means rise/ascend

The seed/nun ascends/ayl

The shoe or sandal is the trampling of the firstborn which sin Esau did spiritually and Yahuah says on Edom he will cast his sandal/naal

Psa 41:9  Even my own friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, Has lifted up his heel ascending/AYL on me.

Joh 13:18  “I do not speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen, but that the Scripture might be filled, ‘He who eats bread with Me has lifted up his heel ascending/AYL on Me.’

While this scripture finds it's fulfillment in Yahudah/Judas who betrayed Mashiyach and is the Ban ha Abadun/Son of perdition, we were/are no better than Yahudah/Judas who betrayed Mashiyach and were on the same path as he but because of the love of Mashiyach who willfully gave his bakarah/birthright to us we will be saved.

In Psalms 108:9 shalak they translated as cast away. Shalak also means to cast lots

Shalak:

Ruth 4:6  And the redeemer said, “I am not able to redeem it for myself, lest I ruin my own inheritance. Redeem my right of redemption for yourself, for I am not able to redeem it.”

7  And this was formerly done in Yisra’ĕl concerning redeeming and exchanging, to confirm every word: one man took off his sandal/naal and gave it to the other, and this was a witness in Yisra’ĕl.

8  So the redeemer said to Boʽaz, “Buy it for yourself.” Then he took off/shalap his sandal/naal.

Check this out as this became a custom as commanded in the Turah where a brother or the closest relative refused to take brothers or closest relative as wife to give her a seed

Deut 25:9  then his brother’s wife shall come to him in the presence of the elders, and remove his sandal from his foot, and shall spit in his face, and answer and say, ‘Thus it is done to the man who does not build up his brother’s house.’

10  “And in Yisra’ĕl his name shall be called, ‘The house of him who had his sandal/naal (H5275) removed.’

Why is Yahuah saying in Psalms 108:9 over Edom/Adam I cast/shalak my shoe/naal?

Esau held the bakarah/birthright lightly and sold it to his brother. He refused the redemption just as the close relative or brother refused to redeem his brothers wife who went childless, so over Edom will I cast my shoe/naal i.e. nun/seed ayl/ascend. According to the Turah the wife of the brother or close relative had to take away the shoe/naal and spit on the face of him.

We see the beautiful picture of redemption that Yahusha was stripped of his garments and sandals and they spat on his face.

Matt 26:67 Then they spat in His face and beat Him with their fists; and others slapped Him,

The birthright/barakah can never be sold. It always belongs to the firstborn son. Esau did not have regard for the 'Barakah' but for red/adam stew he agreed to give it off to his younger brother Yaaqob.  But Yaaqob took away the birthright from his father by posing himself as Esau.

Heb 12:16  lest there be anyone who whores, or profane one, like Ěsaw, who for a single meal sold his birthright.
17  For you know that afterward, when he wished to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it with tears.

Thus Yaaqob always lived in fear of his brother Esau for he feared Esau would kill him.  Esau knew what he lost and he sought repentance but he did not find it. Yahuah designed it this way because the birthright/bakarah of the firstborn had to be given to the younger son.

Even parable of lost son. The elder brother argued with the father when he saw the father gave the younger son a fine robe and killed a fatted calf for him.

Luke 15:22 “But the father said to his slaves, ‘Quickly bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals/naalyam on his feet’”;

The elder brother is Yasharal after the flesh. Of the seed of Adam. Remember we saw Edom is spelled in the same way as Adam.Hence Yahusha came as the Son of Adam and handed over his bakarah to us the younger brother willfully showing us his love for us.

Mashiyach coming from Edom as mentioned in YashaYahu 63 is coming in judgement staining his garment with the red/adam as it is he alone who can give the bakarah. He is the firstborn/first begotten Son.

Key of David

Isa 22:20  ‘And it shall be in that day, that I shall call My servant Elyaqim son of Ḥilqiyahu.
Isa 22:21  ‘And I shall put your robe on him, and strengthen him with your girdle, and give your authority into his hand. And he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Yerushalayim and to the house of Yahudah
Isa 22:22  ‘And I shall place the key/mapatach H4668 of the house of Dawiḏ on his shoulder. And he shall open, and no one shuts; and shall shut, and no one opens.
Isa 22:23  ‘And I shall fasten him like a peg/yathed H3489 in a steadfast place, and he shall become a throne of esteem to his father’s house.
Isa 22:24  ‘And they shall hang on him all the weight of his father’s house, the offspring and the offshoots, all vessels of small quantity, from the cups to all the jars.
Isa 22:25  ‘In that day,’ declares יהוה of hosts, ‘the peg/yathed H3489 that is fastened in the steadfast/aman H539 place shall be removed and be cut down and fall, and the burden that was on it shall be cut off. For יהוה has spoken.’ ”

'Mapatach' comes from the root word 'Patach' which means 'Open' or 'Door'

It has the root word 'pat' which means 'hole'

John 10:7 So Yahusha said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door/patach of the sheep.”

This is a prophecy of Mashiyach and when we look deeply we see Yahuah saying in verse 20 of YashaYahu 22 ''‘And it shall be in that day, that I shall call My servant Elyaqim son of Ḥilqiyahu''

Who was Elyaqim?

2Ki 18:37  And Elyaqim son of Ḥilqiyah, who was over the household, and Sheḇnah the scribe, and Yo’aḥ son of Asaph, the recorder, came to Ḥizqiyahu with their garments torn, and they reported to him the words of the Raḇshaqĕh.

2Ki 19:1  And it came to be, when Sovereign Ḥizqiyahu heard it, that he tore his garments, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the House of יהוה,
2Ki 19:2  and sent alaph tau Elyaqim, who was over the household, and Sheḇnah the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covering themselves with sackcloth, to Yeshayahu the prophet, son of Amots

AlayQayam: Alay is short form for 'My AL' and Qayam means 'Rise/Stand'

Put together 'My AL shall rise'

Elyaqim was over all the household of king Hezekiah and Yahuah uses his name to show 'My AL shall rise' referring to Mashiyach.

Rev 3:7  “And to the messenger of the assembly in Philadelphia write, ‘He who is set-apart, He who is true, He who has the key/mapatach of Dawiḏ, He who opens/patach and no one shuts/sagar, and shuts/sagar and no one opens/patach, says this:

The word translated as 'shut' is the Abary word 'sagar' which means enclose/cage/shut and is a root word in 'masagar' which means prison

sagar:

The key of Daud opens into the door of life who is Yahusha ha Mashiyach himself and he is the one who shuts up/imprisons one not to be able to enter through the door.

Peg/Yathed H3489:

The word 'yathed' has the root word 'yat' which means 'hand covenant' and the 'yad' the hand which is aman. The word 'aman' is translated here as steadfast. 'Aman' means sure/belief.
Yathed is the peg which is used to fasten the tent/tabernacle. We will see later how Yahuah tabernacles with us as Yahusha by securing the taberncale/tent with the peg/yathed.

Isa 55:1  “Oh everyone who thirsts, come to the waters. And you who have no silver, come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without silver and without price.
Isa 55:2  “Why do you weigh out silver for what is not bread, and your labour for what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to Me, and eat what is good, and let your being delight itself in fatness.
Isa 55:3  “Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, so that your being lives. And let Me make an everlasting covenant with you, the trustworthy kindnesses of Daud.
Isa 55:4  “See, I have given Him as a witness to the people, a Leader and a Commander for the people.
Isa 55:5  “See, a nation you do not know you shall call, and a nation who does not know you run to you, because of יהוה your Elohim, and the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl, for He has adorned you.”

Daud was dead long ago but Yahuah had promised him that his throne would be established forever and this finds fulfillment in Mashiyach only.

Act 13:33  that Elohim has filled this for us, their children, having raised up יהושע, as it has also been written in the second Psalm, ‘You are My Son, today I have brought You forth.’
Act 13:34  “And that He raised Him out of the dead, no more to return to corruption, He has said thus, ‘I shall give you the trustworthy kindnesses of Dawiḏ.’

2Sa 7:8  “And now, say to My servant Dawiḏ, ‘Thus said יהוה of hosts, “I took you from the pasture, from following the flock, to be ruler over My people, over Yisra’ĕl.

2Sa 7:9  “And I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have cut off all your enemies from before you, and have made you a great name, like the name of the great ones who are on the earth.
2Sa 7:10  “And I shall appoint a place for My people Yisra’ĕl, and shall plant them, and they shall dwell in a place of their own and no longer be afraid, neither shall the children of wickedness oppress them again, as at the first,
2Sa 7:11  even from the day I appointed rulers over My people Yisra’ĕl, and have caused you to rest from all your enemies. And יהוה has declared to you that He would make you a house.
2Sa 7:12  “When your days are filled and you rest with your fathers, I shall raise up your seed after you, who comes from your inward parts/ man H4480 mah H4578, and shall establish his reign.
2Sa 7:13  “He does build a house for My Name, and I shall establish the throne of his reign forever.
2Sa 7:14  “I am to be his Father, and he is My son. If he does perversely, I shall reprove him with the rod of men and with the blows of the sons of men.
2Sa 7:15  “But My kindness does not turn aside from him, as I turned it aside from Sha’ul, whom I removed from before you.
2Sa 7:16  “And your house and your reign are to be steadfast forever before you – your throne is established forever.” ’ ”

2Sa 7:17  According to all these words and according to all this vision, so Nathan spoke to Dawiḏ.

In our study 'Yasharal of Alahym' we saw that Yasharal speaks of both Mashiyach and we in him. We see the fulfillment when Alahym says ''Out of Mitsyarim I called my Son'' and he also delivered Yasharal from Mitsyarim/Egypt. Similarly the one who sits on throne of Daud is Mashiyach and we in him and verse 14 is to be understood from our perspective “I am to be his Father, and he is My son. If he does perversely, I shall reprove him with the rod of men and with the blows of the sons of men'' because Yahusha was sinless and he never can do anything perverse. It's we who act perversely.

The Abary word translated as 'inward parts' has the man H4480 which means kind of/species which shows a category i.e. Mashiyach and his people and the word 'mah' H4578 means 'belly/womb/bowels/inward parts'

Mah:

People who do not know Mashiyach will never be able to answer the question Yahusha asked the scribes

Luk 20:41  And He said to them, “How do they say that the Messiah is the Son of Dawiḏ?
Luk 20:42  “For Dawiḏ himself said in the Book of Psalms, ‘יהוה said to my Master, “sit at My right hand,
Luk 20:43  until I make Your enemies a footstool of Your feet.” ’
Luk 20:44  “Dawiḏ then calls Him ‘Master,’ how is He then his Son?”

Because many think Yahusha literally came from the seed of Daud physically rather than seeing that he came from the inward parts and the root word in Mah is mah which is spelled without the ayin and means sea/ a unknown deep

It was said of Daud that he was a man after Yahuah's own heart and that's where we understand the inward parts from where Mashiyach came i.e. the Deep

1Sa 13:14  “But now, your reign is not going to stand. יהוה shall seek for Himself a man after His own heart, and יהוה shall command him to be leader over His people, because you have not guarded what יהוה commanded you.”

Acts13:22 After He had removed him, He raised up David to them as their king, to whom He also testified and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My heart, who shall do all My will.
Acts13:23 From the descendants/mazru of this man, according to promise, the Elohim has brought to Yasharal a Savior, Yahusha,

The word 'mazara' means 'descendant' and not a literal seed

mazara: mazara means crop and shows multiple seeds from the likeness of the one seed. A kind of/species.

Psa 132:11  יהוה has sworn in truth to Dawiḏ; He does not turn from it, “Of the fruit/man H4480 paray H6529  of your womb or belly/batan H990 I set upon your throne.
Psa 132:12  “If your sons guard My covenant And My witnesses that I teach them, Their sons shall sit upon your throne forever.”

Again we see the word 'man' H4480 which means kind of/species and it defines the seed in the next verse ''If your sons guard my Covenant....'' and hence the seed is Mashiyach and we in him.

Paray H6529 comes from the root words 'par' H6499 which means 'bull/tread' and 'parah' H6509 which means 'fruitful/grow/increase', parah H6510 also means cow/heifer

The word they translated as 'body' is the Abary word 'batan' which means womb/belly and not the word 'atsam/nephesh/guyah' which are words used for body.

The word 'bat' means 'cracks/desolate' and 'tan' which means 'a woven basket'

bat:

than:

Put together 'batan' means a 'desolate woven basket'. From this deadness/desolation would come the bull/cow/heifer who will tread down the enemies. It was through this 'batan' from where the living waters would flow.

John 7:37 Now on the last day, the great day of the Feast, Yahusha stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.”
John 7:38 “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being/batan shall flow rivers of living water.’”

The key of Daud is the pat/hole through which one can see what's on the other side. It's through understanding the prophecy that one understands what it means to be opened and shut.

Act 15:15  “And the words of the prophets agree with this, as it has been written:
Act 15:16  ‘After this I shall return/ashub and rebuild the alaph tau Booth/sukkah of Daud which has fallen down. And I shall rebuild its ruins, and I shall set it up,
Act 15:17  so that the remnant of mankind shall seek יהוה, even all the gentiles on whom My Name has been called, says יהוה who is doing all this,’
Act 15:18  who has made this known from of old.

Sukkah:

The word Sukkah has the root word 'suk' which means cover/hedge

Amo 9:11  “In that day I shall raise up/qum the alaph tau booth/sukkah of Dawiḏ which has fallen down/naphal. And I shall enclose/gadar its spread out/parats and raise/qum up its ruins. And I shall build it as in the days of old,
Amo 9:12  so that they possess the remnant of Eḏom, and all the gentiles on whom My Name is called,” declares יהוה who does this.

The prophecy of Acts 15:15-18 is from the saphar Amos where Yahuah speaks of the scattering of Yasharal (from verse 1) and smiting Yasharal for their sins setting them for evil and not for good, he says he will sift the house of Yasharal among all nations (verse 9) as one sifts with a net/sieve and yet not a grain will fall to the ground. Amos doesn't mention that the lifting of the sukkah of Daud would happen after Yahuah returns but Luke mentions ''‘After this I shall return/ashub ...'' (Acts 15:16)
Luke also mentions that the remnant of mankind shall seek Yahuah whereas Amos mentions '' so that they possess the remnant of Edom...''
Luke in the spirit of prophecy speaks of the lost sheep of the house of Yasharal seeking Yahuah while Amos let's us know that the people of Yahuah will possess the remnant of Edom. Remember ObedEdom? The name ObedEdom means 'Servant of Edom' and in our study 'Understanding the titles in Psalms -Part 1 & 2' we saw how Daud brought the ark of Yahuah into the house of ObedEdom after Yahuah killed Uzzah for touching the ark when the oxen stumbled.
ObedEdom was the son of Yeduthun who was one of the chief musicians who stood in office as Asaph was along with Heman in guarding the commands of Yahuah as Yad (hand) tan (gift) shows the hand in which is the gift.
We also saw it was said of Yaaqob (father of Yasharal) and Esau (father of Edom) that the older shall serve the younger, however Yaaqob all his life lived in fear of death at the hands of his brother Esau and called him ''master'' and this prophecy would only be fulfilled of the older serving the younger when the sukkah/mashkanoth of Yahuah would be with Yasharal through whom Yaaqob/Yasharal would prevail over Edom. ObedEdom name shows the servant hood towards Edom and when the ark came into his house he and his household were blessed by Yahuah showing the prevailing over Edom.

Yahuah carefully gives a reminder through his servant Amos that Yasharal would possess the remnant of Edom and Luke mentions the remnant of the seed of Adam would seek Yahuah and these were the lost sheep of the house of Yasharal spread out in being scattered in the desolation of nations. All this would happen when Yahuah would return/ashub (and the word 'shub/shab' is the root word in the word 'Shabbat') as Yahusha.
When we understand the prophecy we will also see that Daud in his days when the ark came to rest raised up the sons of Korah to be singers & musicians ministering before the ark of the covenant. He was the first to hand over the Psalm in the hands of the chief musician Asaph

1Ch 15:16 And Dawiḏ spoke to the leaders of the Lĕwites to appoint their brothers the singers with instruments of song, harps, and lyres, and cymbals, to lift up the voice with joy.

1Ch 16:7 And on that day Dawiḏ first gave thanks to יהוה by the hand of Asaph and his brothers:

This all ceased when Yasharal went into captivity of Babylon and there would be no more sound of the bridegroom and the bride in her, no more voice of rejoicing, voice of gladness, voice of singing, sound of harpists, musicians and flutists etc

Jer 16:5  For thus said יהוה, “Do not enter the house of mourning, neither go to lament or mourn for them, for I have withdrawn My peace from this people,” declares יהוה, “even the kindness and the compassions.
Jer 16:6  “Both great and small shall die in this land. They shall not be buried, and no one shall lament for them, or cut themselves, or make themselves bald for them.
Jer 16:7  “Neither shall they break bread in mourning for them to comfort them for the dead, nor give them the cup of comfort to drink for their father or their mother.
Jer 16:8  “Do not enter the house of feasting to sit with them, to eat and drink.”
Jer 16:9  For thus said יהוה of hosts, the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, “See, before your eyes and in your days, I am making the voice of rejoicing and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride to cease in this place.
Jer 16:10  “And it shall be, when you declare to this people all these words, and they shall say to you, ‘Why has יהוה pronounced all this great evil against us? And what is our crookedness, and what is our sin that we have committed against יהוה our Elohim?’

Jer 16:11  then you shall say to them, ‘Because your fathers have forsaken Me,’ declares יהוה, ‘and have walked after other mighty ones and served them and bowed themselves to them, and have forsaken Me, and did not guard My Torah.

Jer 7:34  “And in the cities of Yahudah and in the streets of Yerushalayim I shall make to cease the voice of rejoicing and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride. For the land shall become a waste!

Rev 18:22  “And the sound of harpists, and musicians, and flutists, and trumpeters shall not be heard in you any more at all. And no craftsman of any trade shall be found in you any more at all. And the sound of a millstone shall not be heard in you any more at all.

The rejoicing would only be when Yahuah returns and rebuilds the sukkah of Daud which is fallen down and this finds fulfillment when all of Yasharal will be saved. It's also interesting to see that Daud had an intense desire to build a house unto Yahuah but this is what Yahuah told Daud through the prophet Nathan.

2Sa 7:1  And it came to be when the sovereign was dwelling in his house, and יהוה had given him rest from all his enemies all around,
2Sa 7:2  that the sovereign said to Nathan the prophet, “See now, I am dwelling in a house of cedar, but the ark of Elohim dwells within curtains.”
2Sa 7:3  And Nathan said to the sovereign, “Go, do all that is in your heart, for יהוה is with you.”
2Sa 7:4  And it came to be that night that the word of יהוה came to Nathan, saying,
2Sa 7:5  “Go and say to My servant Dawiḏ, ‘Thus said יהוה, “Would you build a house for Me to dwell in?
2Sa 7:6  “For I have not dwelt in a house since the time that I brought the children of Yisra’ĕl up from Mitsrayim, even to this day, but have moved about in a Tent/Ahal H168 and in a Dwelling Place/Mishkan H4908.

2Sa 7:7  “Wherever I have walked with all the children of Yisra’ĕl, have I ever spoken a word to anyone from the tribes of Yisra’ĕl, whom I commanded to shepherd My people Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?’ ” ’

Yahuah goes on to tell Daud that the one coming from his deep/inward parts man/kind of or species will build a house for his NAME and he is Yahusha ha Mashiyach

Acts 15 saw the beginning of the fulfillment of the prophecy of bringing in the lost sheep of the house of Yasharal(Gentiles)  from the ends of the earth and the fulfillment will be when Yahusha will return/ashub.

We see Solomon building a grand temple for Yahuah which was temporal , was destroyed and rebuilt and destroyed again and it's a house forsaken because the mishkanoth of Yahuah was with men through Yahusha.

John 1:14 And the Dabar became flesh, and yashkan/hand dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Rev 21:3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, Behold, the tabernacle/mishkan of the Elohim is among men, and He shall dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and the Elohim Himself shall be among them as his EL (Eloheyhem),

Alahym will be personalized as 'HIS AL' and his referring to Yasharal. Yahuah's pattern was the 'Tabernacle/Mishkan' and he tells Daud that he doesn't want to dwell in a house but as of old in a Mishkan.

The word Mishkan H4908 has the root word 'shakan' which means 'Dwelling' and other root words 'mash/masha' which means draw out and 'kan' which means 'root/base'. The picture is of drawing out from the roots. This is why Yahusha says

Rev 22:16 I, Yahusha, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the assemblies. I am the root/sharash and the generations/toledoth H8435 of David, the bright morning star.

The word 'sharash' has the root words 'shar' which means ruler and rash which means the head. The head which rules and is the generations of Daud. The root and generations of Daud shows the springing forth of the resh in Daud's seed in all generations. The dwelling of Yahuah with the descendants of Daud forever.

Rom 1:3 concerning His Son, who was born of a descendant of David according to the flesh,

Eze 37:23  “And they shall no longer defile themselves with their idols, nor with their disgusting matters, nor with any of their transgressions. And I shall save them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and I shall cleanse them. And they shall be My people, and I be their Elohim,
Eze 37:24  while Dawiḏ My servant is sovereign over them. And they shall all have one shepherd and walk in My right-rulings and guard My laws, and shall do them.
Eze 37:25  “And they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Yaʽaqoḇ My servant, where your fathers dwelt. And they shall dwell in it, they and their children and their children’s children, forever, and My servant Dawiḏ be their prince forever.
Eze 37:26  “And I shall make a covenant of peace with them – an everlasting covenant it is with them. And I shall place them and increase them, and shall place My set-apart place in their midst, forever.
Eze 37:27  “And My Dwelling Place shall be over them. And I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.

Eze 37:28  “And the gentiles shall know that I, יהוה, am setting Yisra’ĕl apart, when My set-apart place is in their midst – forever.” ’ ”

In conclusion the key of Daud is the hole/pat in the door/patach through which the deep seen through the ayin/mah  the AL who rises/ElayQim over the household, the one who opens/patach and no one shuts/sagar and the one who shuts/sagar and no one opens/patach. A sure peg/yathed fastening the tabernacle/sukkah of Daud which is fallen down, a Dwelling place/Mishkan of Yahuah with his people forever.

Understanding the titles in Psalms-Part 2

In the previous part we saw how the Qohites were chosen by Daud to be singers, music players and making melody to Yahuah through Psalms, we also saw Asaph the chief chosen to be overseer of the Psalms in gathering them and overseeing the singing of them during feast days and other days when the congregation of Yasharal presented themselves before Yahuah. We also saw how his ministry stood as a shadow for Mashiyach to whom all the praises go to and through him to ascend to Alahym, with the renewed covenant which came written on the hearts and minds of Alahyim's people we are admonished to sing Pslams, hyms, spiritual songs making melody in our hearts to Yahusha as he is the object of our worship and all the titles in the Pslams shows the triump, the oppression of the soul, the brokeness etc ascending from our hearts to him. We saw how the sons of Qorah found mercy in Yahuah's eyes and when the ark of the covenant came to rest their work of burden of carrying the qodesh articles transporting them from one place to another on their shoulders ceased and they got a part of the ministry that their father Qorah had no clue about or else he wouldn't have rebelled. This shows the depravity of man of not trusting in Yahuah for the reason of the lot allotted to them in their lives.
We saw many titles and spiritually compared them to other portions in scripture to understand the sweet aroma of Mashiyach through whom we malah/ascend to the Most High and without him it's impossible to have the revelation of who Alahyim is. In this concluding part let's move on to see the other titles and see the spirit in the letter.

Pslams 9:1 ¶ <<To the chief Musician upon Muthlaben, A Psalm of David. I praise You, O יהוה, with all my heart; I declare all Your wonders

H4192 muthlaben מוּת לַבֵּן

This word has deep meaning and is derived from two words muth H4191 which means death and ban H1121 which means son. Muthlaban put together is 'Death of the Son'. This word appears only once in all of scripture. This Pslam speaks of Yahuah as being the deliverer & judge and judging in righteousness and saving his people from the gates of death

Psa 9:13  Show favour to me, O יהוה! See my affliction by those who hate me, You who lift me up from the gates of death,

Psa 9:14  So that I declare all Your praise In the gates of the daughter of Tsiyon. I rejoice in Your deliverance.

Concealed in the Psalm is Mashiyach and his death by which we will attain deliverance, victory & everlasting life. It is evidence of Yahuah being our Yahusha.

Psa 16:1  Michtam of David.Guard me, O Ěl, for I have taken refuge in You.

H4387 Michtam מִכְתָּם

Michtam comes from the root word katham H3799 which means ''to inscribe/to carve/engrave'. It also means fine gold H3800

katham:

Speaking of the bride of Mashiyach the Psalmist says the Sovereigness at the right hand of Mashiyach stands in the gold from Ophir.

Psa 45:8  All Your garments are myrrh and aloes, cassia; Out of the palaces of ivory, Stringed instruments have made You glad.

Psa 45:9  Daughters of sovereigns are among Your precious ones; At Your right hand stands the sovereigness in gold/katham from Ophir.

Mashiyach is also portrayed as being refined gold/katham

Son 5:10  My beloved is dazzling and ruddy, Chief among ten thousand.

Son 5:11  His head is refined/paz gold/katham; His locks are wavy, black as a raven

The gold/katham of Ophir was considered scarce and the most precious metal found

Isa 13:12  “I shall make mortal man scarcer than fine gold/zahab, and mankind scarcer than the gold/katham of Ophir.

When we look at the word 'makatham' closely we see the root words 'mak' which means low/humble, 'kat' which means crushed and 'tam' which means whole. The beautiful picture of crushing and making whole in Mashiyach's death.

Mak:

Kat:

Tam:

Humble/Mak Crushed/Kat and Whole/Maktam

Michtam of Daud/David is a humble crushed heart displaying the wholeness of Mashiyach and refined as katham/gold in the refiner's fire and on whose heart his seal is engraved/katham H3799 .

Psa 17:1  A Taphillah H8605 of David. Hear righteousness, יהוה, Listen to my cry; Give ear to my prayer, From lips without deceit.

Taphilla H8605 : Taphilla is translated as a hym/prayer/intercession

Taphilla comes from the root words 'Taph' which means 'beating of a tamborine', 'Palah' which means to be distinct/set-apart/separate ,'talah' which means 'hang' & 'taphal' which means 'unseasonsed/unsavory'

Taph: Beating of a Tamborine

Palah: to be distinct/set-apart/separate

Talah: hang

Taphal: Unseasoned/Unsavory

A beating of a tamborine/taph,distinct/palah, hang/talah & taphal/unsavory

This has to be looked deeper as on surface level it won't make sense. The beating of the tamborine is the worship which is different and distinct as it ascends through the death of Mashiyach as he was hung/talah on the tree and his death on the outside looks like unsavory/unseasoned/tasteless but is filled with seasoning and a sweet aroma unto Alahym.

Deu 21:23  “Let his body not remain overnight on the tree, for you shall certainly bury him the same day – for he who is hanged/talah H8518 is accursed of Elohim – so that you do not defile the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you as an inheritance.

Gal 3:13  Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the Torah, having become a curse for us – for it has been written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs/talah H8518 upon a tree.”

Gal 3:14  in order that the blessing of Aḇraham might come upon the nations in Messiah יהושע, to receive the promise of the Spirit through belief.

Job 6:6  Is tasteless/H8602 food eaten without salt? Is there any flavour in the juice of mallows?

Job 6:7  The things that my soul refused to touch are as my sorrowful meat.

Ayub/Job in the pain of his suffering says the things that his soul refused to touch are as his sorrowful meat and tasteless. His sufferings show the suffering of Mashiyach who went through that pain and agony on the stake, it shows the curse of the one who hangs/talah on the tree for our sake.

Doesn't it say in Turah to eat the Pesach/Passover lamb with unleavened bread & bitter herbs?

Exo 12:8  ‘And they shall eat the flesh on that night, roasted in fire – with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

We are in the likeness of his death and suffering . This is what Yasharal sung when they went into captivity

Psa 137:1  By the rivers of Baḇel, There we sat down and we wept As we remembered Tsiyon.

Psa 137:2  We hung/talah our lyres Upon the willows in the midst of it.

Psa 137:3  For there our captors Asked us for the words of a song, And our plunderers for rejoicing, saying, “Sing to us a song of Tsiyon!”

Php 3:10  to know Him/Yahusha, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

Lev 2:13  And every oblation of your meat offering shall you season with salt; neither shall you suffer the salt of the covenant of your Alahym to be lacking from your meat offering: with all your offerings you shall offer salt.

Mar 9:49  “For everyone shall be seasoned with fire, and every offering shall be seasoned with salt.

Mar 9:50  “Salt is good, but if the salt becomes tasteless, how shall you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace among one another.”

Mashiyach sacrifice did not lack the savory/seasoning towards Alahym but to mankind who are outside the covenant (and once we too were not aware of the covenant) his death looked/meant unsavory/unseasoned/tasteless to us.

1Co 1:18  For the word of the stake is indeed foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of Elohim.

1Co 1:19  For it has been written, “I shall destroy the wisdom of the wise, and set aside the learning of the learned ones.

Those outside of the covenant will never understand the beat of the tamborine.

Psa 22:1  To the chief Musician upon Aylath H365 Shachar H7837, A Psalm of David

Aylath H365 deer/hind

This word has 2 more occurrences in scripture apart from Pslams 22:1 which is a Messianic Psalm

Pro 5:18  Let your fountain be blessed, And rejoice with the wife of your youth –

Pro 5:19  A loving deer/aylath and a pleasant doe! Let her breasts satisfy you at all times. And be captivated by her love always.

Jer 14:4  “Because the ground became cracked, for there has been no rain in the land. The ploughmen were put to shame, they covered their heads.

Jer 14:5  “Even the deer/aylath gave birth in the field, but left because there was no grass.

This word aylath has the root words 'ay' which means 'where', 'Al' which is a short form of Alahym, 'alaph tau' which shows his mark and 'yath' which shows his hand mark

The deer/aylath represents the people of Yahuah who are where/ay Al/Alahym is and are marked/alaph tau with his hand mark/yath.

Psalms 42:1 As a deer/ayal longs for the water streams, So my being longs for You, O Elohim.

The other two occurrences of the word 'aylath' in Proverbs 5 shows the wife of one's youth who satisfies the husband and aren't we depicted as the bride of Mashiyach? In YermeYahu 14:5 the aylath is recokened with the mourning of Yahudah in going into exile.

Jer 14:1  The word of יהוה that came to Yirmeyahu concerning the matter of droughts.

Jer 14:2  “Yehuḏah has mourned, and her gates have languished. They have mourned on the ground, and the cry of Yerushalayim has gone up.

Shachar H7837 is Dawn/Early morning just before sunrise. This is a Messianic Psalm (Psalms 22) and it's no coincidence that the Great Shepherd Yahusha ha Mashiyach was struck in the early hours before sunrise and his sheep scattered and his sheep/deer crying out for their gathering unto him. Their cry is represented by Mashiyach as he cried on the stake '' Alay Alay lamah azabtany'

Psa 32:1  A Psalm of David, Maschil H4905. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

Maschil comes from the root words 'masha' which means drawn out, 'chayal' which means make a 'hole through the wall' and 'shakal' H7919 which means skilful/instruct/teach/make understand. 'Shakal' also means roar of a lion

The picture is of Mashiyach the Lion of Yahudah who draws us out through the stronghold we were in by boring a hole in the wall by instructing us out of his Dabar.

Masha: Draw out

Chayal: Bore through a wall

Shakal:

Shakal:

Palms 32 is of the one whose transgressions are forgiven and whose sin/khatah is covered. The man of understanding who draws near to Yahuah.

There are 13 occurrences of this word Maschil in the Psalms all speaking of the deliverance of Mashiyach concealed in the saphar.

Psa 39:1  To the chief Musician,to Yaduthun, A Psalm of David. I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.

Asaph was the chief and apart from him were Heman and Yaduthun who were the king's seers/prophets who were among the chief who presented themselves as the chief musicians in the absence of Asaph and at regular times they presented themselves as musicians as lots were cast for their line of duty in turns.

1Ch 16:4  And he appointed some of the Lĕwites to serve before the ark of יהוה, to bring to remembrance, and to thank, and to praise יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl:

1Ch 16:5  Asaph the chief, and his second Zeḵaryah, Yeʽi’ĕl, and Shemiramoth, and Yeḥi’ĕl, and Mattithyah, and Eliyaḇ, and Benayahu, and Oḇĕḏ-Eḏom, and Yeʽi’ĕl, with harps and lyres, but Asaph was sounding with cymbals;

1Ch 25:8  And they cast lots for their duty, the small as well as the great, the teacher with the student.

2Ch 35:15  And the singers, the sons of Asaph, were in their places, according to the command of Dawiḏand Asaph, and Hĕman, and Yeḏuthun the seer of the sovereign. And the gatekeepers at each gate did not have to leave their position, because their brothers the Lĕwites prepared for them.

1Ch 25:1  And Dawiḏ and the commanders of the army separated for the service some of the sons of Asaph, and of Hĕman, and of Yeḏuthun, who should prophesy with lyres, with harps, and with cymbals. And the number of the workmen according to their service was:

1Ch 25:2  Of the sons of Asaph: Zakkur, and Yosĕph, and Nethanyah, and Ashar’ĕlah, the sons of Asaph at the hands of Asaph, who prophesied at the hands of the sovereign.
1Ch 25:3  Of Yeḏuthun, the sons of Yeḏuthun: Geḏalyahu, and Tseri, and Yeshayahu, Ḥashaḇyahu, and Mattithyahu, six, under the hands of their father Yeḏuthun, who prophesied with a lyre to give thanks and to praise יהוה.

1Ch 16:7  And on that day Dawiḏ first gave thanks to יהוה by the hand of Asaph and his brothers:

There are 3 Psalms i.e. Psalms 39:1, Psalms 62:1 & Psalms 77:1 handed over to Yaduthun when he was in service as the chief musician.

1Ch 15:19  and the singers Hĕman, Asaph, and Ěythan, were to sound the cymbals of bronze;

It's interesting to see that Yaduthun is named as Eythan here in 1Ch 15:19, and was a descendant of Merari.

Psa 88:1  A Song or Psalm for the sons of Korah, to the chief Musician upon Mahalath Leannoth, Maschil of Heman the Ezrahite. O Yahuah Alahym of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee:

It's also interesting to see that there is one Psalm sung by Heman and handed over to the chief musician who is Asaph  but no Psalm recorded showing when he was in the position filling as the chief musician as per the cast lots for their duty.

There is also a Psalm written by Yaduthun and here he is named Eythan in Psalms 89:1

Psa 89:1  Maschil of Eythan the Ezrahite. I sing of the kindnesses of יהוה forever; With my mouth I make known Your trustworthiness To all generations.

In 1 Chr 25:3 only 5 sons of Yaduthun have been listed i.e. GedalYahu, Tseri, YashaYahu, HashabYahu and MattithYahu and it says six, under the hands of their father Yeduthun but ObedEdom is missing in this text. But when we compare scriptures with scriptures we see scriptures in 1 Chr 16:38 & 42 showing us that the sons of Yeduthun were gatekeepers and ObedEdom was a gatekeeper.

1Ch 16:37  So he left Asaph and his brothers there before the ark of the covenant of יהוה to perform regular service before the ark, as each day required;

1Ch 16:38  also, Oḇĕḏ-Eḏom with his sixty-eight brothers, including Oḇĕḏ-Eḏom son of Yeḏuthun, and Ḥosah, to be gatekeepers;

1Ch 16:42  and with them Hĕman and Yeḏuthun, to sound aloud with trumpets and cymbals and instruments for the songs of Elohim, and the sons of Yeḏuthun were gatekeepers

1Ch 15:17  And the Lĕwites appointed Hĕman son of Yo’ĕl, and of his brothers, Asaph son of Bereḵyahu; and of their brothers, the sons of Merari, Ěythan (Yaduthun) son of Qushayahu

1Ch 15:18  and with them their brothers of the second rank: Zeḵaryahu, Bĕn, and Yaʽazi’ĕl, and Shemiramoth, and Yeḥi’ĕl, and Unni, Eliyaḇ, and Benayahu, and Maʽasĕyahu, and Mattithyahu, and Eliphelĕhu, and Miqnĕyahu, and Oḇĕḏ-Eḏom, and Yeʽi’ĕl, the gatekeepers;
1Ch 15:19  and the singers Hĕman, Asaph, and Ěythan (Yaduthun), were to sound the cymbals of bronze;
1Ch 15:20  and Zeḵaryah, and Azi’ĕl, and Shemiramoth, and Yeḥi’ĕl, and Unni, and Eliyaḇ, and Maʽasĕyahu, and Benayahu, with harps according to Alamoth;

1Ch 15:21  and Mattithyahu, and Eliphelĕhu, and Miqnĕyahu, and Oḇĕḏ-Eḏom, and Yeʽi’ĕl, and Azazyahu, to lead with lyres on the Sheminith;

The name Eythan named as Yaduthun:

There is a probability that Yaduthun was a rename given to Eythan/Aythan because 'Ay' means 'Where'' and 'Tan' means 'gift'. Put together ' Where the gift is'

Yaduthun: Yad/Hand uau/the  Tan /Gift

'Hand the Gift' which plays skillfully for Yahuah, the hand that gathers the melody, the hand that guards the music and melody as delivered to it. A beautiful picture of 'Guarding his commandments'.

Psa 45:1  To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim H7799, for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A Song of loves. My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

Shoshannim/Shashashnayam H7799 has the root word' shushan' H7799 which means lily, 'shash' H8337 which means 'six' or 'white/linen'H8336 and 'shush' H7797  which means 'be glad, rejoice, mirth'

Shush:

Shash:

There are 15 occurrences of this word in scripture and twice in the Psalms i.e. Psalms 45:1 & 69:1 and is translated as 'lilly' which blossoms. Lillie's are white and it's blossom is like the rejoicing, gladness and joy displayed.

It is a picture of the people of Yahuah who are clothed in fine linen/white-shash, and who are glad/shush and are like the blossom of the lilly/shashan with their five senses seeing, smelling, hearing, touch & taste plus one the spiritual man perceiving/understanding the spirit in the letter looking towards the completeness/7th of being in Mashiyach.

1Jn 1:1  What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the DABAR of life:

1Jn 1:2  And the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and announce to you that everlasting life which was with the Father and was manifested to us.

Heb 6:4  For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Set-apart Spirit,
Heb 6:5  and have tasted the good Word of Elohim and the powers of the age to come,

Heb 6:6  and fall away, to renew them again to repentance – having impaled for themselves the Son of Elohim again, and put Him to open shame.

2Co 2:15  Because we are to Elohim the fragrance of Messiah among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

Eph 5:2  And walk in love, as Messiah also has loved us, and gave Himself for us, a gift and an offering to Elohim for a sweet-smelling fragrance.

In the above scriptures we see the 5 senses spiritually displayed in the spiritual man who is clothed in white and able to discern the completeness in Mashiyach.

Psalms 45 is about Mashiyach and the blossom in him

Psa 45:1  To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim H7799, for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A Song of loves. My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer
Psa 45:2  You are more handsome than the sons of men; Favour has been poured upon Your lips; Therefore Elohim has blessed You forever.

Psa 45:3  Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O Mighty One, Your excellency and Your splendour.

Psalms 69 is also a Messianic Psalm speaking of the suffering of Mashiyach and the sweet ascending aroma of his sacrifice and when we see, hear, touch, taste & smell his sacrifice we long to enter into his rest i.e. the Shabbath rest

Psa 69:21  And they gave me gall for my food, And for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

Psa 69:22  Let their table before them become a snare, And a trap to those at ease.

Psa 46:1  To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth H5961.Elohim is our refuge and strength, A help in distress, soon found.

‘alamoth’ (Strong’s 5961)-soprano voices of young women-an ascent of sweet voice to Aluahym invoking his presence for help.

Psa 46:1 To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth (ayin lamed mem uau tau). Aluahym is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

The word ‘alamuth’ shows the rising/ayl to the ha shamayam/heavens through the muth/death of Mashiyach. The ‘mah’ in ‘almuth’ shows the depth/greatness of Mashiyach that the virgin/maiden gets immersed in his love to lose her identity to be the bride of Mashiyach.
The word ‘mah’ means the unknown. Hence put together ‘almah’ is ‘a virgin not known by a man and betrothed to the man Yahusha ha Mashiyach’. We have been betrothed to Mashiyach as his bride, a chaste virgin not known by the unknown.

Psa 46:3  Let its waters rage, foam; Let mountains shake with its swelling. Selah.
Psa 46:4  A river whose streams Make glad the city of Elohim, The set-apart dwelling of the Most High.
Psa 46:5  Elohim is in her midst, she does not topple; Elohim does help her when morning turns.

Psa 53:1  To the chief Musician upon Machalath H4257, Maschil, A Psalm of David.

Machalath H4257 comes from the root word 'chal' which means hole/pain,  'chalah' H2470 which means weak/sick/grieved/afflicted, machalah H4245 which means sickness/disease, 'chalah' H2471  which also means cake, machalah H4247 which means cave & machlah H4246 which means dancing.

And this Machalath is a Maschil (we already saw Maschil is a picture of Mashiyach the Lion of Yahudah who draws us out through the stronghold we were in by boring a hole in the wall by instructing us out of his Dabar).

The chal/pain as in being afflicted/chalah or sick/machalah of being persecuted and hiding in a cave/machalah and finally rejoicing when Yahuah brings back the captivity of his people

Psa 53:1  To the chief Musician upon Machalath H4257, Maschil. The fool has said in his heart, “There is no Elohim.” They have done corruptly, And they have done abominable unrighteousness; No one does good.
Psa 53:2  Elohim looked down from the heavens on the children of men, To see if there is a wise one, seeking Elohim.
Psa 53:3  They have all turned aside; They have together become filthy; No one is doing good, not even one.
Psa 53:4  Have the workers of wickedness no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call on Elohim?
Psa 53:5  There they are in great fear, Where no fear was, For Elohim shall scatter the bones Of him who encamps against you. You shall put them to shame, For Elohim has rejected them.
Psa 53:6  O that the deliverance of Yisra’ĕl Would be given out of Tsiyon! When Elohim turns back the captivity of His people, Let Yaʽaqoḇ rejoice, let Yisra’ĕl be glad.

Heb 11:36  And others had trial of mockings and floggings and more, of chains and imprisonment.
Heb 11:37  They were stoned, they were tried, they were sawn in two, they were slain with the sword. They went about in sheepskins, in goatskins, being in need, afflicted, mistreated,

Heb 11:38  of whom the world was not worthy – wandering in deserts and mountains and caves and holes of the earth.

Num 15:18  “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, and say to them, ‘When you come into the land to which I bring you,
Num 15:19  then it shall be, when you eat of the bread of the land, that you present a contribution to יהוה.
Num 15:20  ‘Present a cake/chalah of the first of your dough as a contribution – as a contribution of the threshing-floor you present it.

Num 15:21  ‘Of the first of your dough you are to give to יהוה a contribution throughout your generations.

Just as the firstfruits and the firstling from the flock Yasharal was commanded to present a cake/chalah of the first of their dough to Yahuah which is synonymous with the sweet smelling sacrifice of Yahusha's affliction for us and we being partakers of his death and sorrow and resurrection and rejoicing. Hebrews 11 is about those who received deliverance while the others didn't but there remains a promise for all of them which they haven't attained yet, the promise of rest in Mashiyach.

Psa 56:1  To the chief Musician upon Yunath Alam Racqayam H3128, Michtam of David, when the Philistines took him in Gath.

Yunah/Dove H3123
Alam/silence H482
Rachoq/long ago/of old H7350

'The Dove silenced from old'

The Dove speaks of Mashiyach because as per Turah those who couldn't afford a heifer/lamb/goat or bull could offer two doves and we see that Mariam/Mary and Yoseph/Joseph offering two doves as per Turah

Luke 2:24 and to offer a sacrifice according to what was said in the Turah of Yahuah, A pair of turthledoves or two son/ban doves/yunah.

Lev 12:8  ‘And if she is not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtledoves or two son/ban yunah, one as a burnt offering and the other as a sin offering. And the priest shall make atonement for her, and she shall be clean.’ ”

English translates the word 'ban' which means son as 'young' as it doesn't make sense to the translators but to those who are in the covenant we understand that it speaks of the Son of Alahym who was both the burnt offering and the sin/khatah offering.

Gen 1:2  And the earth came to be formless and empty, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Elohim was moving/rachapah H7363  on the face of the waters.

Rachapah H7363 has the root words 'rach' which means travel and 'pah' which means mouth and is a picture of the Ruach of Alahym travelling from transcendence into immanence to put the dabar into our mouth to confess Yahusha ha Mashiyach is THE Adun.

When Yahusha went into the waters in immersion to fulfill all righteousness the Ruach of Alahym descended upon him as a dove/yunah showing the travel path completed and manifested through the body of Mashiyach who alone masha/draws us out of the deep waters where we were drowning.

Joh 1:32  And Yoḥanan bore witness, saying, “I have seen the Spirit coming down from heaven like a dove/yunah and remain on Him.

Joh 1:33  “And I did not know Him, but He who sent me to immerse in water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit coming down and remaining on Him, this is He who immerses in the Set-apart Spirit.’

Yahusha is the Dove/Yunah silenced from old and was embedded in the Turah. HalalUYah.

Psa 57:1  To the chief Musician, Altaschith H516, Michtam of David, when he fled from Saul in the cave

This word Altaschith appears in 4 Psalms- Psalms 57:1, Psalms 58:1, Psalms 59:1 & Psalms 75:1. Altaschith has root words 'Al' which is short form for Alahym and root words 'Taysh' H8495 which means he goat, 'Chat' which means broken/dread/fear & shacath H7843 which means destroy/spoil

Taysh H8495: He goat

Chat H2844: broken/dread/fear

Put together 'Al's he goat destroyed & broken'

Psa 60:1  To the chief Musician upon Shushaneduth H7802, Michtam of David, to teach; when he strove with Aramnaharaim and with Aramzobah, when Joab returned, and smote of Edom in the valley of salt twelve thousand.

We already saw the word Shushan/lilly H7799. Here we have two words 'Shushan' and 'Aduth' H5715. Aduth means testimony/witness

'Ad' is the repeat witness of the woman's mensuration flux as a reminder to her of her purification from her impurity which is only in Mashiyach as she is the one who makes her white/shash through the Covenant/Tau

Ad/repeat witness Uau/enjoins Covenant/ Tau

Hence the testimony/aduth to make one blossom like shushan/lilly is of Mashiyach.

Luke 12:27 “Consider the lilies/shushanyam, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even that Solomon in all his glory was clothed himself like one of these.”

Son 5:13  His cheeks are like a bed of spices, Raised bed of scented plants. His lips are lilies/shushanyam, dripping flowing myrrh.

Solomon who wrote the scroll Song of Songs uses the word lillies/shushanyam quite frequently sometimes depicting his love the Shulamite and sometimes speaking about himself but within this scroll is hidden the love between Mashiyach and his bride the assembly. Here in Luke 12:27 Yahusha brings out the ruach from the letter in letting us know that we need to look at the lilies/shushanyam in how they grow and they neither toil nor spin but not even Solomon in all his glory was clothed himself like one of these. And those lillies/shushanyam are we in Mashiyach who testify/aduth of our short fall and our completeness only in Mashiyach.

Psa 88:1  A Song or Psalm for the sons of Korah, to the chief Musician upon Machalath Leannoth H6031, Maschil of Heman the Ezrahite.

We already saw the word 'Machalath'  which shows the chal/pain as in being afflicted/chalah or sick/machalah of being persecuted and hiding in a cave/machalah and finally rejoicing when Yahuah brings back the captivity of his people. We also saw the word Maschil which means masha/draw out through the chyal/hole in the wall through shakal/instruction and roar of the lion/shakal.

La Anuth/led to affliction

Anuth has the root words 'anah' which means afflict and 'muth' which means death

Led to the affliction of the death of Mashiyach.

Anah H6031:

Psa 120:1  A Song of ascents/malah H4609. In my distress I cried to יהוה, And He answered me.

Malah has the root word 'al' which means ascend

The word yoke comes from the root word ‘al’ –ayin lamed where ayin is the eye which sees and lamed is the staff which leads/teaches. Put together ‘al’ means ‘see the staff’. The yoke is a staff lifted up on the oxen’s shoulder to perform work. Here in this scripture Yahusha is asking to take his yoke on our shoulder to learn from him. The picture is of Yahusha lifting the yoke and placing it upon our shoulder to experience who he is.

‘ayl’ also means ‘upon, above, over’ –Strong’s 5922

‘Alya’/’Elyun’ means ‘highest’ and is used for Aluahym as ‘Most High’

Gen 14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high (Elyun) Aluahym

Psa 7:17 I will praise Yahuah according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of Yahuah most high (Elyun).

The song of ‘malah’ is a cry that goes ascending to the MOST HIGH Yahuah asking for speedy help. In some Pslams like Psalms 133 where it’s not a cry but a blessing coming to us, it comes from the head of the high priest (Aahron type of Mashiyach as he stood in office of high priest) down on his beard to the garments. Pslams 129 is a cry for deliverance of Yasharal from the plowers plowing on his back.

We can only ascend/malah in Mashiyach as he is the one who descended and ascended into heaven.

Eph 4:9 (Now that He ascended/alah, what is it but that He also had descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

This concludes our study on 'Understanding the titles in Psalms-Part 2' and through these titles we see how Mashiyach is hidden in the saphar/letter and without him it's impossible to ascend to Alahym and we only find our wholeness and completeness in him.
