The ships of Tarshish

When we read about the 'ships of Tarshish' we wonder what these ships mean in scripture and their spiritual significance but when we look at the historical evidence with a spiritual vs spiritual comparison we see the whole picture of how it relates to bringing in the sons of Yasharal back to the fold and when Aluahym's purpose is accomplished how these same ships of Tarshish has the Babylonian influence to bring along the souls of men who are slaves and captive to her rule. Let's begin with the historical evidence from scriptures.

1Kings 10:22 For the king (Solomon) had at sea the ships of Tarshish with the ships of Hiram; once in three years the ships of Tarshish came bringing gold and silver, ivory and apes and peacocks.

Hiram was the king of Tyre/Tsur

2Sa 5:11 ¶ And Hiram king of Tyre/Tsur sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters, and masons: and they built David an house.

1Kings 5:1 Now Hiram king of Tyre/Tsur sent his servants to Shelomoh/Solomon, when he heard that they had anointed him king in place of his father, for Hiram was a lover of David all his days.
2 Then Sh’lomoh sent word to Hiram, saying,
3 You know that David my father could not build a house for the name of Yahuah his El because of the wars which surrounded him, until Yahuah put them under the soles of his feet
4 But now Yahuah my El has given me rest all around; there is neither adversary nor evil happening.
5 Behold, I intend to build a house for the name of Yahuah my El, as Yahuah spoke to David my father, saying, Your son, whom I shall set on your throne in your place, he shall build the house for My name.
6 Now therefore, command that they cut for me cedars from Lebanon, and my servants shall be with your servants; and I shall give you wages for your servants according to all that you say, for you know that there is no one among us who knows how to cut timber like the Sidonians/Tsadanyam.
7 And it came to pass, when Hiram heard the words of Sh’lomoh, he rejoiced greatly and said, Blessed be Yahuah today, who has given to David a wise son over this great people.
8 So Hiram sent word to Sh’lomoh, saying, I have heard that which you have sent to me; I shall do what you desire concerning timber of cedar and concerning timber of fir
9 My servants shall bring them down from Lebanon to the sea; and I shall make them into rafts/dabarah H1702 to go by sea to the place where you direct me, and I shall have them broken up there, and you shall carry them away. Then you shall accomplish my desire by giving food to my household.
10 So Hiram was giving to Sh’lomoh the cedar trees and fir trees all his desire.
11 Sh’lomoh then gave Hiram twenty thousand kors of wheat as food for his household, and twenty kors of beaten oil; thus Sh’lomoh would give Hiram year by year.
12 Yahuah gave wisdom to Sh’lomoh, just as He promised him; and there was peace between Hiram and Sh’lomoh, and the two of them made a covenant.
13 Now King Sh’lomoh raised a labor force out of all Yisrael; and the forced labor was thirty thousand men.
14 He sent them to Lebanon, ten thousand a month by courses; they were in Lebanon a month and two months at their own house. And Adoniram/Adonayram was over the forced labor

We see how Hiram/Chayram (chay: life & ram: anything that is high or lifted up which is deceitful) who loved Daud all his life making a treaty with Daud's son Shelomoh/Solomon by sending the cedars of Lebanon down unto him from the sea in rafts to help him build the house of Yahuah. The Abary word 'dabarah' which is translated as floats/rafts has the root word 'dabar' which means 'word/speak'. While there is so much to look at like 'cedars of Lebanon', 'king of Tyre/Tsur', 'Tyre/Tsur & Tsadan/Sidon' etc which we will look at later, let's for now continue to look at the historical evidence of the transformation of these rafts/dabarah to the ships of Tarshish. Moreover Shelomoh raised forced labor to bring in these cedars of Lebanon and sent them one month to Lebanon and two months they stayed at their own house and Adonayram was over the forced labor. The name Adonayram comes from two root words Adonay which means 'Master' and 'ram' which means 'anything that is high or lifted up which is deceitful'. The picture is of a 'Master who is lifted up in deceit' just as the same root word 'ram' is in 'Chayram/Hiram' which means 'Life which is lifted up high which is deceitful'

2Ch 2:3  And Shelomoh sent to Ḥuram/Churam sovereign of Tsor, saying, “As you did for my father Dawiḏ, and sent him cedars to build himself a house to dwell in –

In 2 Chri 2:3 his name is called Churam/Huram which means whiteness with a root word 'chur' H2353 and also the word 'Chu' is the root word in Chauah/Eve which means 'life'. 'Ram' means 'lifted up'

Charam: Someone or something captured for dedication or destruction. [freq. 38] |kjv: net, accursed, curse, devoted, destruction, dedicated, destroyed| {str: 2764}

Adonayram was one of the princes who was over this forced labor

1Ki4:1 Now King Sh’lomoh was king over all Yisrael.
1Ki 4:2 These were the princes which he had: Azariah the son of Zadok was the priest; .....
1Ki4:6 and Ahishar was over the household; and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the forced labor.

Shelomoh turned away from Yahuah and worshiped other gads and goddesses which his pagan wives lured him to and Yahuah raised up adversaries for him and out of this one adversary rose taking an occasion of this forced labor which Shelomoh's son Rehaboam said he would double caused the division of the kingdom of Daud into 2, 10 tribes to be with Yaraboam the Ephrathite and 2 tribes Benyamin/Benjamin and Yahudah/Judah to be with Rehaboam (house of Daud)

1Ki 11:26  And a servant of Shelomoh, Yaroḇʽam son of Neḇat, an Ephrayimite from Tserĕḏah, whose mother’s name was Tseruʽah, a widow, also lifted up a hand against the sovereign.
1Ki 11:27  And this is what caused him to lift up a hand against the sovereign: Shelomoh had built Millo, repairing the breaks in the City of Dawiḏ his father.
1Ki 11:28  And the man Yaroḇʽam was a brave man. And Shelomoh, seeing that the young man was doing his work well, made him the officer over all the compulsory labour of the house of Yosĕph.
1Ki 11:29  And it came to be at that time, when Yaroḇʽam went out of Yerushalayim, that the prophet Aḥiyah the Shilonite met him on the way. And he was wearing a new garment, and the two were alone in the field.
1Ki 11:30  And Aḥiyah took hold of the new garment that was on him, and tore it into twelve pieces,
1Ki 11:31  and said to Yaroḇʽam, “Take for yourself ten pieces, for thus said יהוה, the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, ‘See, I am tearing the reign out of the hand of Shelomoh and shall give ten tribes to you,
1Ki 11:32  but he shall have one tribe for the sake of My servant Dawiḏ, and for the sake of Yerushalayim, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Yisra’ĕl.

1Ki 11:34  ‘But I do not take all the reign out of his hand, because I have made him ruler all the days of his life for the sake of My servant Dawiḏ, whom I chose because he guarded My commands and My laws.
1Ki 11:35  ‘And I shall take the reign out of his son’s hand and give it to you, the ten tribes.
1Ki 11:36  ‘And to his son I give one tribe, so that My servant Dawiḏ shall always have a lamp before Me in Yerushalayim, the city which I have chosen for Myself, to put My Name there.

1Ki 11:39  ‘And because of this I humble the seed of Dawiḏ, but not forever.’ ”
1Ki 11:40  And Shelomoh sought to kill Yaroḇʽam, but Yaroḇʽam rose up and fled to Mitsrayim, to Shishaq sovereign of Mitsrayim, and was in Mitsrayim until the death of Shelomoh.

1Ki 12:2  And it came to be, when Yaroḇʽam son of Neḇat heard this – he was still in Mitsrayim, for he had fled from the presence of Sovereign Shelomoh and had been dwelling in Mitsrayim –
1Ki 12:3  that they sent and called him. And Yaroḇʽam and all the assembly of Yisra’ĕl came and spoke to Reḥaḇʽam, saying,
1Ki 12:4  “Your father made our yoke hard, and now, lighten the hard service of your father, and his heavy yoke which he put on us, then we serve you.”
1Ki 12:5  And he said to them, “Go away for three days, then come back to me.” And the people went.
1Ki 12:6  Then Sovereign Reḥaḇʽam consulted the elders who stood before his father Shelomoh while he still lived, and he said, “What do you advise me to answer these people?”
1Ki 12:7  And they spoke to him, saying, “If you are a servant to these people today, and shall serve them, and shall answer them and speak good words to them, then they shall be your servants all the days.”
1Ki 12:8  But he ignored the advice the elders gave him, and consulted the young men who had grown up with him, who stood before him.
1Ki 12:9  And he said to them, “What advice do you give? How should we answer this people who have spoken to me, saying, ‘Lighten the yoke which your father put on us’?”
1Ki 12:10  And the young men who had grown up with him spoke to him, saying, “Say this to this people who have spoken to you, saying, ‘Your father made our yoke heavy, but you make it lighter on us.’ Say this to them, ‘My little finger is thicker than my father’s waist!
1Ki 12:11  ‘And now, my father laid a heavy yoke on you, but I add to your yoke; my father flogged you with whips, but I, I flog you with scourges!’ ”
1Ki 12:12  So Yaroḇʽam and all the people came to Reḥaḇʽam the third day, as the sovereign had spoken, saying, “Come back to me the third day.”
1Ki 12:13  But the sovereign answered the people harshly, and ignored the advice which the elders had given him,
1Ki 12:14  and he spoke to them according to the advice of the young men, saying, “My father made your yoke heavy, but I add to your yoke; my father flogged you with whips, but I, I flog you with scourges!”
1Ki 12:15  So the sovereign did not listen to the people, for the turn of events was from יהוה, in order to establish His word, which יהוה had spoken by Aḥiyah the Shilonite to Yaroḇʽam son of Neḇat.
1Ki 12:16  And all Yisra’ĕl saw that the sovereign did not listen to them. Then the people answered the sovereign, saying, “What portion do we have in Dawiḏ? And there is no inheritance in the son of Yishai. To your mighty ones, O Yisra’ĕl! Now, see to your own house, O Dawiḏ!” So Yisra’ĕl went to their tents.
1Ki 12:17  But as for the children of Yisra’ĕl who dwelt in the cities of Yehuḏah, Reḥaḇʽam reigned over them.
1Ki 12:18  And when Sovereign Reḥaḇʽam sent Aḏoram/Adonayram, who was over the compulsory labour, all Yisra’ĕl stoned him with stones, and he died. And Sovereign Reḥaḇʽam hastily mounted his chariot to flee to Yerushalayim.
1Ki 12:19  Thus Yisra’ĕl revolted against the house of Dawiḏ to this day.

The Adonayram who was over the forced labor was stoned by Yasharal unto death. Here in 1 Kings 12:18 his name is mentioned as Adaram which has root words 'ad' which means 'mist/vapor' and 'ram' which means 'high and lifted up in deceit'.

Now with this background let's go back to Hiram's and Shelomoh's joint venture in the ships of Tarshish built by Shelomoh in the land of Edom

1Ki 10:22 For the king had at sea the ships of Tarshish with the ships of Hiram; once in three years the ships of Tarshish came bringing gold and silver, ivory and apes and peacocks.

1Ki 9:26 And King Sh’lomoh made a navy of ships in Etsyon-Geber, which is near Eloth on the shore of the Red Sea, in the land of Edom
1Ki 9:27 And Hiram sent his servants in the navy, shipmen who knew the sea, along with the servants of Sh’lomoh.

Deu 2:8  “And when we passed beyond our brothers, the descendants of Ěsaw who dwell in Sĕʽir, through the way of the desert plain, from Ěylath and Etsyon Geḇer, we turned and passed over by way of the Wilderness of Mo’aḇ.

That's the evidence of the ships of Tarshish being in Etsyon-Geber in the land of Edom bringing in gold, silver, ivory, apes and peacocks.

Yahuah later destroyed these ships of Tarshish which Yahushapat sent these ships to go to Ophir for gold because he associated with AhazYahu son of Ahab.

1Ki 22:47  And there was then no sovereign in Eḏom, a deputy was sovereign.
1Ki 22:48  Yehoshaphat made Tarshish ships to go to Ophir for gold. However, they did not go, for the ships were wrecked at Etsyon Geḇer
1Ki 22:49  Then Aḥazyahu son of Aḥaḇ said to Yehoshaphat, “Let my servants go with your servants in the ships.” But Yehoshaphat would not.

2Ch 20:35  And after this Yehoshaphat sovereign of Yehuḏah joined himself with Aḥazyah sovereign of Yisra’ĕl. He did wrong in doing so.
2Ch 20:36  And he joined himself with him to make/asah H6213 ships to go to Tarshish, and they maintained/asah H6213 the ships in Etsyon Geḇer.
2Ch 20:37  Then Eliʽezer son of Doḏawahu of Marĕshah prophesied against Yehoshaphat, saying, “Because you have joined yourself with Aḥazyahu, יהוה shall break up your work.” And the ships were wrecked, so that they were unable to go to Tarshish.

There is a mistranslation of the word 'asah' H6213 which is translated as 'made' in the second part of the verse giving the reader an implication that it was Yahushapat who made these ships in Etsyon Geber whereas they were made by king Shelomoh and were only maintained/asah in Etsyon Geber. The word asah also means to maintain.

Yahushapat was a righteous king and his association with Ahazyah the son of Ahab was unrighteous because of which Yahuah destroyed these ships of Tarshish at Etsyon Geber and their tradition of getting gold from Ophir was broken

2Ch 8:17  Then Shelomoh went to Etsyon Geḇer H6100 and Ěyloth H359 on the seacoast, in the land of Eḏom.
2Ch 8:18  And Ḥuram sent him ships by the hand of his servants, and servants who knew the sea. And they went with the servants of Shelomoh to Ophir, and took four hundred and fifty talents of gold from there, and brought it to Sovereign Shelomoh.

Now that we have seen the historical facts of how these ships of Tarshish were built and sent to Ophir to bring in gold to king Shelomoh and this continued until the days of Yahushapat until Yahuah wrecked these ships because of his association with the house of Ahab, now let's see the spirit in prophecy to understand these things.

It's interesting to see the word 'Etsyon Geber' which has the root word ' Tsyun/Zion' H6726 and with the ayin in front of it it read as 'See/Ayin Tsyun' and 'Geber' means 'mighty' H1368. Put together 'See Tsyun the mighty'.

The word 'Eyloth' H359 has the word 'Ayl' H352 which means 'Ram' and with the 'Tau' at the end which means 'covenant' it would read ' Ram of the covenant'

Remember these places were in Edom/Adum which has 'Adam' rooted in it which has the 'red blood/dam' and Esau was Edom

Gen 25:25  And the first came out red/adamunay all over, like a hairy garment, so they called his name Ěsaw.

This is the same Esau who for the red/adam sold his birthright to his brother Yaaqob and therefore his name was called Edom/Adam or Adum.

Gen 25:30 and Esau said to Ya’aqob, Please let me have of the red/adam, this red stuff/adam there, for I am famished. Therefore his name was called Edom

The word Ophir/Auphar H211 has the root word 'Aphar' which means 'doubly fruitful' and is the same root word in 'Ephrayim H669/Ephrath H672'.

The word 'Tarshish' has the root words 'Tar/border' and shayash H7893 which is a marble which is white

The gold coming from Ophir/Auphar on ships of Tarshish was a picture of the 'Ephrathite' (Yasharal) coming from the border which is like the merchandise of 'white marble' as doubly fruitful.

Isa 60:9  “Because the coastlands wait for Me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, to the Name of יהוה your Elohim, and to the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl, because He has adorned you.
Isa 60:10  “And the sons of foreigners shall build your walls, and their sovereigns serve you. For in My wrath I have smitten you, but in My delight I shall have compassion on you.
Isa 60:11  “And your gates shall be open continually, they are not shut day or night, to bring to you the wealth of the gentiles, and their sovereigns in procession.

The picture is of Esau/Adum being outside the covenant but is using the Abary names (as used by the Edomites in naming these places) and outward form of the law which point inward to the Ruach in the letter showing a outward to inward view of the Turah.

Isa 2:12  For יהוה of hosts has a day against all that is proud and lofty, against all that is lifted up, so that it is brought low;
Isa 2:13  and against all the cedars of Leḇanon that are high and lifted up, and against all the oaks of Bashan;
Isa 2:14  and against all the high mountains, and against all the hills that are lifted up;
Isa 2:15  and against every lofty tower, and against every strong wall;
Isa 2:16  and against all the ships of Tarshish, and against all the desirable craft.
Isa 2:17  And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the pride of men shall be brought low. And יהוה alone shall be exalted in that day,

It's interesting to see Yahuah using the same terminology 'cedars of Lebanon' , 'oaks of Bashan'  & 'ships of Tarshish' when pronouncing judgment in bringing the loftiness of man low. The cedars of Lebanon as we read were sent by Chayram on rafts/dabarah by way of sea to king Shelomoh to build the house of Yahuah and later this route carried the merchandise through ships of Tarshish unto the king.

The outward form of the letter held the ruach in it which pointed to Mashiyach, while all those outside being occupied in a physical temple will be destroyed those in the ruach temple will live forever.

Son 5:15  His legs are columns of marble/shayish Founded on sockets of fine gold. His appearance is like Leḇanon, Choice as the cedars.

Psa 104:16  The trees of יהוה are satisfied, The cedars of Leḇanon which He planted,

Coming back to the ships of Tarshish, Yahuah uses the wreckage that was done at Etsyon Geber language in judgment

Isa 23:1  The message concerning Tyre/Tsur. Howl, you ships of Tarshish! For it has been destroyed, without house, without harbour. From the land of Kittim it has been revealed to them.
Isa 23:2  Be silent, you inhabitants of the coastland, you merchants of Tsiḏon, who passed over the sea, they filled you.
Isa 23:3  And on great waters the grain of Shiḥor, the harvest of the River, was her increase. And she was a market-place for the nations.
Isa 23:4  Be ashamed, O Tsiḏon, for the sea has spoken, the stronghold of the sea, saying, “I have not laboured, nor brought forth children; neither have I reared young men, brought up maidens.”
Isa 23:5  Like the report of Mitsrayim, they too are grieved at the report of Tsor.
Isa 23:6  Pass over to Tarshish; wail, you inhabitants of the coastland!
Isa 23:7  Is this your city of revelry, whose antiquity is from days of old, whose feet carried her far off to sojourn?

It's interesting to see that Tarshish got it's name from the one of the grandsons of Yahpeth. Yawan from whom came the Greeks and Tarshish and Kittim were the sons of Yawan.

Gen 10:4  And the sons of Yawan: Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim and Doḏanim.
Gen 10:5  From these the coastland peoples of the Gentiles were separated into their lands, everyone according to his language, according to their clans, into their nations.

The word Tyre in Abary is Tsur which also means 'rock' H6697 and Yahuah is said to be our rock.

The lamentation was taken up for the prince of Tsur/Tyre whose heart was lifted up to be like Yahuah

Eze 28:1  And the word of יהוה came to me, saying,
Eze 28:2  “Son of man, say to the prince of Tsor, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “Because your heart is lifted up, and you say, ‘I am Ěl, I sit in the seat of Elohim, in the heart of the seas,’ whereas you are a man, and not Ěl, though you set your heart as the heart of Elohim!

This lamentation was for Adam who was like a covering cherub as he in his flesh held the true pattern i.e. Mashiyach as Rom 5:14 says that he was the figure of him who was to come.

Eze 27:1  The word of יהוה came again to me, saying,
Eze 27:2  “Now, son of man, take up a lamentation for Tsor
Eze 27:3  and you shall say to Tsor, ‘You who dwell at the entrance to the sea, merchant of the peoples on many coastlands, thus said the Master יהוה, “O Tsor, you yourself have said, ‘I am perfect in loveliness.’
Eze 27:4  “Your borders are in the heart of the seas. Your builders have perfected your loveliness.
Eze 27:5  “They have made all your timbers of fir trees from Senir. They took a cedar from Leḇanon to make a mast for you.
Eze 27:6  “From the oaks of Bashan they made your oars. They made your deck with ivory from the coasts of Kittim.
Eze 27:7  “Of fine embroidered linen from Mitsrayim was your sail to serve you as banner. Of blue and purple from the coasts of Elishah was your covering.
Eze 27:8  “The inhabitants of Tsiḏon and Arwaḏ were your seamen. Your wise men, O Tsor, were in you, they were your sailors.
Eze 27:9  “The elders of Geḇal and its wise men were in you repairing your seams. All the ships of the sea and their seamen were in you to trade your merchandise.
Eze 27:10  “Those from Persia, Luḏ, and Put were in your army as men of battle. Shield and helmet they hung up within you, they gave splendour to you.
Eze 27:11  “The sons of Arwaḏ, and your army were on your walls all around, and the Gammaḏites were in your towers. They hung their shields on your walls all around, they perfected your loveliness.
Eze 27:12  “Tarshish was your merchant because of your great wealth. They gave you silver, iron, tin, and lead for your merchandise.
Eze 27:13  “Yawan, Tuḇal, and Mesheḵ were your traders. They exchanged slaves and objects of bronze for your merchandise.

Eze 27:17  “Yehuḏah and the land of Yisra’ĕl were your traders. For your merchandise they exchanged wheat of Minnith, and early figs, and honey, and oil, and balm.

When we read Ezekiel 27:17 we see Yahuah saying Yahudah and the land of Yasharal were traders of Tsur/Tyre and the verse says for your merchandise they exchanged wheat of Minnith and early figs, and honey and oil and balm. Didn't we read that king Shelomoh agreed to give food to king of Tyre Chayram/Hiram for the merchandise he would send via the sea? Yahuah  is using the same terminology in taking up a lamentation for Tsur/Tyre. So these ships of Tarshish typified a carrying of the basarah to build the house of Yahuah until the evil house of Ahab through whom came the Baal worship was mingled which caused the wreckage of those ships spiritually.

Tsur/Tsor is compared to Babylon the great whore and the seventy years of captivity of Yasharal under her rule Tsur will be forgotten and after the seventy years .....Isa 23:17  And at the end of seventy years it shall be that יהוה visits Tsor. And she shall return to her hire and commit whoring with all the reigns of the earth on the face of the soil.

Isa 23:11  He has stretched out His hand over the sea, He shook the reigns; יהוה has given a command against Kenaʽan to destroy its strongholds.
Isa 23:12  And He said, “Never again shall you exult, O you oppressed maiden daughter of Tsiḏon. Arise, pass over to Kittim, even there you shall find no rest.”
Isa 23:13  See the land of the Chaldeans – this people did not exist. Ashshur founded it for wild beasts of the desert. They set up their siege-towers, they demolished her palaces, and made her a ruin.
Isa 23:14  Howl, you ships of Tarshish, for your stronghold is laid waste!
Isa 23:15  And in that day it shall be that Tsor is forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one sovereign. At the end of seventy years it shall be to Tsor as in the song of the whore:
Isa 23:16  “Take a lyre, go about the city, you forgotten whore; make sweet playing, sing many songs, so that you might be remembered.”
Isa 23:17  And at the end of seventy years it shall be that יהוה visits Tsor. And she shall return to her hire and commit whoring with all the reigns of the earth on the face of the soil.
Isa 23:18  And her goods and her hire shall be set apart for יהוה, not treasured nor laid up, for her gain is for those who dwell before יהוה, to eat sufficiently, and for a choice covering.

It's interesting to see that post the 70 years of captivity there was also a literal fulfillment of the prophecy as we read in Ezra 3:6-7 that they gave silver to the stonemasons, carpenters, food and drink etc to the people of Tsidon and Tsur to bring cedar logs from Lebanon to the sea.

Ezr 3:6  From the first day of the seventh month they began to offer burnt offerings to יהוה. But the foundation of the Hĕḵal of יהוה had not been laid.

Ezr 3:7  And they gave silver to the stonemasons and the carpenters, and food, and drink, and oil to the people of Tsiḏon and Tsor to bring cedar logs from Leḇanon to the sea at Yapho, according to the permission which they had from Koresh sovereign of Persia.

Tsur was a haven for all kinds of craftsmen and their trading to the ends of the earth and Yahuah uses the same terminology and names to show a spiritual picture of a harlotry basarah/gospel going to the ends of the earth. While Huram/Chayram or Churam the king of Tsur/Tyre was in a peace covenant with Daud and Shelemoh and helped them build their houses and also the house of Yahuah his name shows a picture of a merchandise of deceit being traded which in later generations would be the cause of Yasharal's mingling with the false merchandise which initially was tub/good.

Rev 18:11  “And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn over her, because no one buys their merchandise any more –
Rev 18:12  merchandise of gold and silver, and precious stone and pearls, and fine linen and purple, and silk and scarlet, and all citron wood, and every object of ivory, and every object of most precious wood and bronze and iron and marble,

Rev 18:13  and cinnamon and incense, and fragrant oil and frankincense, and wine and oil, and fine flour and wheat, and cattle and sheep, and horses and carriages, and bodies and lives of men.

We read in YashaYahu 60:9 that the ships of Tarshish brought the sons from afar and we saw the gold from Ophir which came through these ships to king Shelomog has the same root as Ephrathite and we read one of the merchandise of Mystery Babylon was 'lives of men'

Isa 60:9  “Because the coastlands wait for Me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, to the Name of יהוה your Elohim, and to the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl, because He has adorned you.

Rev 18:19  “And they threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and mourning, and saying, ‘Woe! Woe, the great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she was laid waste.’

We read of Ophir and Hawilah where there is gold found were grandsons of Shem and is a picture of the elect coming to Mashiyach through the ships of Tarshish

Gen 10:22  The sons of Shĕm: Ěylam, and Asshur, and Arpaḵshaḏ, and Luḏ, and Aram. .......
Gen 10:29  and Ophir, and Ḥawilah, and Yoḇaḇ. All these were sons of Yoqtan.

Speaking of Mashiyach Psalms 45:9 says at your right hand stands the queen in gold of Ophir

Ps 45:9 Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon your right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.

Yonah/Jonah fled to Tarshish from the presence of Yahuah and boarded one of the ships of Tarshish and he was cast into the sea and swallowed up by a big fish

Jon 1:3  But Yonah rose up to flee to Tarshish from the presence of יהוה, and went down to Yapho, and found a ship going to Tarshish. And he paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of יהוה.

And it says as Yunah was three days and three nights in the belly of the fish even so the Son of Adam be in the heart of the earth

Mat 12:39  But He answering, said to them, “A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Yonah.

Mat 12:40  “For as Yonah was three days and three nights in the stomach of the great fish, so shall the Son of Aḏam be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Figuratively the ships of Tarshish carried Mashiyach into the depths of the heart of the earth as he is the true merchandise which was despised and cast into the sea to stop the raging of the sea.

There is much that can be said of the ships of Tarshish and the language of blessing and judgment which Yahuah uses in his dabar but this tar/tur which means 'tour/border' of the 'whiteness' is both positive as well as negative. If you are in Mashiyach you are touring the true whiteness and the sweet merchandise and if in Mystery Babylon then you are touring the deceitful whiteness and the deceitful merchandise which only builds a physical heykal.

The Covering karub- Part 3

Introduction:

In part one and two of the Covering cherub we saw how Adam held in his flesh the pattern of the ban/son of the Most high and Rom 5:14 says he was the figure of him who was to come. We saw him being in the garden of Eden/Adan and he was figuratively called as the covering cherub. We saw a translation error in 2 Peter 2:4 which says that Alahym sent the messengers who sinned to the base of the mountain and delivered them into chains of darkness and this was speaking of those who rebelled in Yasharal and they were destroyed at the base of the mountain for their rebellion.

2Pe 2:4 For if Elohim did not spare the messengers who sinned, but sent them to qatsbay/base hariym/mountain, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be kept for judgment,

We saw Ezekiel 28:2 was a proverb taken for the prince of Tsur and the same word Tsur means rock whose heart was elevated to be like Alahym and Psalms 61:2 says when my heart is turned aside lead me to the tsur higher than I

''Ps 61:2 From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is turned aside/ataph H5848; lead me to the rock/tsur that is higher than I.

We see the serpent/nachash tempting Adam and Chauah that if they eat the fruit of the tree they would be like Alahym.

Exo 25:20And the keruḇim/H3742 shall be spreading out their wings above, covering/sakak H5526 ayl/rising H5921 over the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward each other, the faces of the keruḇim turned toward the mercy seat.

Eze 28:16 “By the greatness of your trade you became filled with violence within, and you sinned. So I thrust you from the mountain of Elohim, and I destroyed you, O covering keruḇ, from the midst of the stones of fire.

Hence the words covering cherub is paradox and not that he ever was one who covered the mercy seat as the pattern given to Mashah showed the karubims overshadowing the mercy seat.

We saw the simplicity of Yahusha ha Mashiyach who being in the damuth/blood likeness of Alahym took upon the blood likeness of a servant and strengthened himself in the measure as a son of Adam so that he could bring down this exaltation of man by putting an end to the enmity in his flesh. He is the only one capable of translating us from the flesh to the ruach and if he had to translate us he had to become like us in every way.

Heb 10:19 So, brothers, having boldness to enter into the Set-apart Place by the blood of יהושע, 20 by a new and living way which He instituted for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh/basar

The prophecy of the takan- pattern/weigh/measure/sum required that one be weighed exactly as the likeness of blood/damuth of son/ban Adam who was in the blood likeness of Alahym in existence and it was written in the roll of the scroll about him.
Heb 10:5 Therefore, coming into the world, He says, “Slaughtering and meal offering You did not desire, but a body/guyah You have prepared for Me. 6 “In ascending offerings and offerings for sin You did not delight.7 “Then I said, ‘See, I come – in the roll of the scroll it has been written concerning Me – to do Your desire, O Elohim

So all those passages quoted showing him as being sent, Father being greater, your Father and my Father etc clearly show that he was the pattern of the basar/flesh as written and how could he not obey to be the exact same measure of Adam?
We saw the serpent/nachash was cursed above all shad/mighty ones and that he would eat aphar/dust all his days and on his belly/gachun he would go. We saw Yahuah telling Adam that he is dust/aphar and into dust/aphar he would return. Satan was confined to devouring man, we also saw gachun/Gihon was one of the rivers which flowed from Eden/Adan and he would devour mankind as a devouring serpent. We saw the Abary word for ‘serpent’ is H5175 nachash נָחָשׁ and this word also means ‘enchantment, divination, one who puts a spell (H5172), one who learns, experience, observes’
Deu 18:10 “Let no one be found among you who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices divination/H5172 nachash, or a user of magic, or one who interprets omens or a sorcerer,
We also saw the proverb which was for the sovereign of Babel whose exaltation was brought low down to Sheol where the maggot/worms are spread over him.
Isa 14:4 that you shall take up this proverb against the sovereign of Baḇel, and say, “How the oppressor has ceased, the gold-gatherer ceased! Isa 14:8 “Even the cypress trees rejoice over you, and the cedars of Leḇanon, saying, ‘Since you were cut down, no woodcutter has come up against us.’
Isa 14:9 “Sheol from beneath is excited about you, to meet you at your coming; it stirs up the dead for you, all the chief ones of the earth; it has raised up from their thrones all the sovereigns of the gentiles.
Isa 14:10 “All of them respond and say to you, ‘Have you also become as weak as we? Have you become like us?
Isa 14:11 ‘Your arrogance has been brought down to Sheol, and the sound of your stringed instruments; the maggot is spread under you, and worms cover you.’
Speaking of Haylal who is paradox ally called Son of the morning. His desire was to raise his throne above the stars of Alahym and become like Alahym
Isa 14:12 “How you have fallen from the heavens, O Hĕlĕl, son of the morning! You have been cut down to the ground, you who laid low the gentiles! Isa 14:13 “For you have said in your heart, ‘Let me go up to the heavens, let me raise my throne above the stars of Ěl, and let me sit in the mount of meeting on the sides of the north; Isa 14:14 let me go up above the heights of the clouds, let me be like the Most High.’Isa 14:15 “But you are brought down to Sheol, to the sides of the Pit/baar H953.
We begin this study by looking at the three dimensions of Yahuah's existence and how Yahuah alone will be exalted whilst everything will be subdued under his feet
Isa 24:21 So it shall happen in that day, that Yahuah shall punish the host of the high/marum on/ba high/marum, and on the kings of the earth on the earth
Isa 24:22 They shall be gathered a gathering of prisoners in the pit/baar H953
and shall be confined in prison; and after many days they shall be punished

We already saw the word marum in The Covering cherub- Part 2 study

Marum: Marum means ‘proudly/height/elevation’

We begin by reading the above verses which says Yahuah will punish the host of the
marum on marum and the host of the earth on earth and they shall be gathered as
prisoners in the pit. The Abary word 'baar' H953 means 'well/pit' and H874 means 'to expound/declare'

Deut 1:3 And it came to pass, in the fortieth/arbayam year/shanah, in the eleventh month/ashatay asar on the first day of the month, Mosheh spoke to the sons of Yisrael, according to all that Yahuah had commanded him concerning them, Deut 1:5 Across the Yarden in the land of Moab, Mosheh undertook to expound/baar H874 this alaph tau Turah saying..

The word 'baar' in Deut 1:5 is the same word used in Rev 9 as baar hatahum which they translated as bottomless pit.

Baar H875-well or pit and tahum/deep

H874- Baar means to make plain/distinct/declare

The carnal Turah had hidden in it the ruach which needed to be expounded to declare the works of Yahuah and his ways. The carnal Turah came confined to the Tur/boundary with the rah: dread/fear. Masha expounded/baar the alaph tau Turah across the Yarden in the land of Moab.

Deut 34:5 So Mosheh the servant of Yahuah died there in the land of Moab,

according to the word of Yahuah.

Masha represented the Turah and his death and burial in the land of Moab is a picture of the Turah of khat and muth being buried before crossing over into the promised land which is New Yerushalam.

Also look at Deut 1:3 And it came to pass, in the fortieth/arbayam year/shanah, in the eleventh month/ashatay asar on the first day of the month,

Ashat:

Asar:

ashatay asar which they translated as eleven...ashat means shine bright after being polished and ashar means riches/wealth.n the fortieth year...number 40 is a number of testing in the 11th month/ashatay ashar Yahuah reveals the living Turah flowing which will smite Moab and dig out/reveal the sons of Sheth.

Nu 24:17 I shall see him (Yahusha), but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star (kukab) out of Yaaqob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of MOAB, and DIG all the children of Sheth.

Rev 9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from heaven which had fallen to the earth; and the key of the deep/hatahum well/baar was given to him

The root words in baar are 'bar' which means 'son', 'ar' which means 'light'

Through the carnal Turah of sin and death shatan comes with the mapatach/key of deep/tahum expounding/baar...misrepresenting the bar/son and the light/ar, whereas the Yarden/Jordan represents the 'yar'/flow of dan/rule (dalet nun: door of life).

The flowing of the rule of Mashiyach who is the door of life. Whereas Moab in Abary shows the mu/of the waters ahb/father. Mem is the waters and the father of waters keeping people drowned in the sea /deep/tahum. We need Mashiyach to Masha us out. Masha's Turah had/has hidden the living waters and that's why Yahuchanan says the elect of Yah sing the song of Masha and the Lamb.

Coming back to YashaYahu 24:21-22 we see Yahuah says he will punish the host of the high on high and the host of earth on earth and will confine them to this baar/expounding and visit them to punish them after many days.

Those occupied in the letter:

Heb 9:5. umima`al lo k’rubey hakabod hasokakiym `al-hakaporeth

lo’ n’daber ka`eth `al-kal-‘echad mehem l’bad.

The plain English translation says...

Heb 9:5 and over it the cherubim of glory shadowing the mercy seat;

Of which we cannot now speak particularly.

They left out translating many words so here is the word for word Abary translation...

Umamal/And rising lu/over karubay/cherubims hakabod/of glory hasakakyam/ covering al/over -haparath/lid of atonement la/can't nadabar/now speak ka/at this at/time al/unless kal/all achad/first maham/confusion labad/is separated

In simple English: And rising over were cherubims of glory covering over the lid of atonement which we can't now speak at this time unless all first the confusion is separated

What is the confusion Shaul was speaking about?  The book of Hebrews was written to the Yahudi's who turned to Mashiyach but were keeping the carnal outward form of the letter.

Kepha speaks of angels in higher authority not bringing a reviling accusation against those walking in the flesh

2Pe 2:11  whereas messengers who are greater in strength and power do not bring a slanderous accusation against them before the Master.

Jude gives an example of Miyakel the chief messenger not bringing an accusation against shatan when he disputed the body of Masha (body of Masha is speaking of the carnal law) but said ''Yahuah rebuke you''

Jud 1:9  But Miḵa’ĕl the chief messenger, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Mosheh, presumed not to bring against him a blasphemous accusation, but said, “יהוה rebuke you!”

This clearly shows the Angels higher in power elevate Yahusha and keep themselves humble/lower under the authority of Yahusha ha Mashiyach as he is the head of all principality and powers.
We see this in the three dimensional existence of Yahuah which angels/malakiym fruitfully understand and submit to.

Three dimensional view of Yahuah's presence:

1) the Masha pattern where the cherubims overshadowed the mercy seat/kapparat
2) Yahuah speaking from between the cherubims

3) Yahuah above the cherubims

Exo 25:22  “And I shall meet with you there, and man (kind of/H4480) rising from /maal H5921 the lid of atonement / kapparat H3727, man ( kind of/H4480) between/bayan H996 the two keruḇim which are on the ark of the Witness, I shall speak to you all that which I command you concerning the children of Yisra’ĕl

The above verse in normal English reads ...22  “And I shall meet with you there, and from above the lid of atonement, from between the two keruḇim which are on the ark of the Witness, I shall speak to you all that which I command you concerning the children of Yisra’ĕl.

They don't translate maal/mem ayin lamed correctly. Malah /maal means to ascend/rise up

The wings/kanaph of the cherubims overshadowed the kapparath /mercy seat on which Yahuah was seated.

Kapparath has root words kap which means palm of the hand and par which means bull

Kappar:

Kap:

Par:

There is a Tau at the end which means Covenant. Put together 'Covering the bull of the covenant'
The picture is of the cherubims overshadowing what was covered i.e. the bull of the covenant. Yahuah says he will rise up from that lid/kappar and speak with Masha from between the cherubims.

Rev 11:19  And the Dwelling Place of Elohim was opened in the heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His Dwelling Place. And there came to be lightnings, and voices, and thunders, and an earthquake, and great hail.

The lid of atonement was opened up as Yahuah rises up to speak with his people from between the cherubims.

John 1:51  And He said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, from now on you shall see the heaven opened, and the messengers of Elohim ascending and descending upon the Son of Aḏam.

Being in the lower form as the bull offering for our sins the lid of atonement was overshadowed by the cherubims, but Yahuah will rise up to reveal himself from the lid of the atonement to speak to his people.

It was written that Yahusha was made little lower than Alahym, the book of Hebrews says he was made lower than angels thus fulfilling the wings of the cherub overshadowing the mercy seat/kappar because he is the bull offering which was covered/hidden. We see passages where angels came and ministered to him, protected him and strengthened him.

Shatan tempted Mashiyach to jump from the pinnacle of the temple/haykal as it was written...

Psalms 91:11  For He commands His messengers concerning you, To guard you in all your ways.

12 They bear you up in their hands, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

Mark 1:13  And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tried by Satan, and was with the wild beasts. And the messengers attended Him.

Luke 22:42  saying, “Father, if it be Your counsel, remove this cup from Me. Yet not My desire, but let Yours be done.” 43  And there appeared a messenger from heaven to Him, strengthening Him.

That's the picture of cherubims overshadowing the mercy seat, the cherubs guarding the true pattern.

Gen 3:24  and He drove the man out. And He placed keruḇim at the east of the garden of Ěḏen, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

So we so far saw the two dimensions of being under the cherubims wings and rising up to speak from between the cherubims.

The third dimension is being above the cherubims:

Eph 1:20  which He wrought in the Messiah when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies,
21  far above all rule and authority and power and mastery, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

22  And He put all under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all, to the assembly,

Ezekiel 10: 1  And I looked and saw in the expanse that was above the head of the keruḇim, like a sapphire stone, having the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

Ezekiel 1: 24  And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of many waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a tumult like the noise of an army. And when they stood still, they let down their wings.
25  And a voice came from above the expanse that was over their heads. When they stood, they dropped their wings.

26  And above the expanse over their (cherubims) heads was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like a sapphire stone. And on the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man high above it.

The voice came from above the expanse over the heads of the cherubims, from the throne like the saphiyr and the likeness of a MAN HIGH above it. The saphar in the saphiyr has the three dimensional view which came as the blue print written with the finger of Aluahym on stones.

From between the two cherubims:

The word between/midst is bayan H996 which has the ban/son and yan/wine rooted in it

Rev 5:6 And I saw, and behold, in the midst/bayan of the throne and of the four living creatures,
and in the midst/bayan of the elders stood a Lamb as if it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of the Elohim, sent out into all the earth.

The Lamb stood in the bayan/midst of the throne as in the bayan/midst of the elders. The Son stood in the midst of the throne and is the voice that spoke from the midst of the two cherubims.

YashaYahu 6:1  In the year that Sovereign Uzziyahu died, I saw יהוה sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the Hĕḵal.

2  Above it stood seraphim. Each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.

Yahuah was seated on the throne high and lifted up  and above the throne were saraphs and each one had six wings, with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet and with two he flew.
The two wings by which he flew was overshadowing the throne while with the two he covered his face and with two he covered his feet. What is the significance of covering face and feet? The pattern of Masha only showed the two wings overshadowing the kappar/mercy seat but here Yahuah gives us more information, these were saraphs having six wings, with two they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet and with two they flew i.e. overshadowed the throne of Yahuah.

Num 21:8  And יהוה said to Mosheh, “Make a fiery serpent/saraph H8314, and set it on a pole/nas H5251. And it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.”

9  So Mosheh made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole. And it came to be, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.

The word fiery serpent is saraph. All those who were bitten by serpents saw the saraph on the pole and lived.

John 3:13  “And no one has gone up into the heaven except He who came down from the heaven – the Son of Aḏam.

14  “And as Mosheh lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so the Son of Aḏam has to be lifted up,

The face of the Saraph was not yet revealed and covering their face with the two wings/ kanaph reveals just this. The word kanaph has the root words kap which means palm, what is the kap covering? The nun. Also has root word kan which means a firm base

The feet/ragal has the root word rag/treading under foot and gal/roll The kap/palm is covering the nun who surely/kan (Kan also means surety) will tread the roll in judgment. The Saraphyim overshadowed the throne of Yahuah and this is further proof that Yahuah became our Yahusha, John 1:51 where Yahusha says henceforth you shall see heaven opened and the angels ascending and descending upon the Son of Adam.

Adam held within his flesh the true pattern... And was the figure of him who was to come

Rom 5: 14  But death reigned from Aḏam until Mosheh, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Aḏam, who is a type of Him who was to come.

Being lifted up in pride to be as Alahym being tempted by the serpent for the serpent told him and his wife that in the day they eat of the fruit they would be as Alahym.

The saraph in imagery covering his face and feet with two wings each is the concealing of the witness (number two speaks of witness)  that this exaltation to be above the throne of Alahym will be brought low with Alahym being elevated to be above the heads of the cherubims/saraphims and all principalities and powers.

When we look at the Saraph on the pole/nas we see our exaltation brought low as Mashiyach became the saraph nachash/brazen to take away our venom. The word nas is a root word in Nissi which means standard/banner.

Exo 17:15  And Mosheh built an altar and called its name, יהוה Nissi/nasay,

Yahuah Nissi is none other than Yahusha ha Mashiyach, the banner/standard that is raised when the enemy comes in like a flood ( like the river gachun which is also the same word for belly where Yahuah told the serpent that on his belly he would go and eat aphar all his days)

Isa 59:19  And they shall fear the Name of יהוה from the west, and His esteem from the rising of the sun, when He comes like a distressing stream which the Spirit of יהוה will raise a standard/nus H5127 against him.

Mashiyach emptied himself and became like a servant and though was in the blood likeness of Alahym he chose to be in the blood likeness of his brethren and that's why he has been given a name above every name and at his name every knee in heaven, earth and beneath will bow

If you rearrange the word Saraph (samek resh pey) you get saphar (samek pey resh) ....he is the one who treads/rag the gal/roll

Saphar:

Saraph:

And those occupied in the saphar will be bitten by the saraph and brought low but those who are lowly and confirm themselves in the footsteps of Mashiyach seek help to be shalah/drawn out of the saphar by him will see the Saraph on the nas/pole and live. These things are spiritual and hence need to be discerned spiritually.

Heb 9:5 Shaul speaks of this confusion which needs to be separated from those occupied in the saphar /letter

The angels higher in authority understand that they cannot be elevated above the throne of Yahuah because he alone is high and lifted up and their imagery of being above his throne is just an imagery showing they guarded the true pattern i.e. Mashiyach and covered their faces and their feet to show their submission to the true saraph who alone treads/rag the roll/gal as he is the sap/threshold of the par/bull who treads.

Sap:

Par: Also means to tread as the bull does

This was the three dimensions on Yahuah being on the lid of the atonement covered by the wings of the cherubims and he rising up to speak with Masha from between the cherubims and the third dimension of the revelation of who he is as seen in Ezekiel 1:26-27 of the throne being above the heads of the cherubims and on the throne likeness of a man seated on it and that's Mashiyach
Isa 2:10 Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, because of the fear of יהוה and the splendour of His excellency. Isa 2:11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, the pride of men shall be bowed down, and יהוה alone shall be exalted in that day. Isa 2:12 For יהוה of hosts has a day against all that is proud and lofty, against all that is lifted up, so that it is brought low;
