The Markers in Matthew's genealogy

When we read a genealogy in the Basharah's, many people think it's there for the sake of just showing Yahusha is the descendent of Abraham or Adam and the rest of the names mentioned in the genealogy are skipped as it doesn't interest the reader. Those interested would take traditionalists standpoint that Matthew's genealogy is from his father's side and Luke's genealogy is from his mother's side. However, my purpose is not to show the father's side and mother's side viewpoint but to be specific in the markers as all esteem goes to Yahusha our Kinsman Redeemer. For detailed summary on the genealogies please visit my note here: Tents of Shem: Understanding the genealogy of Matthew and Luke (dsouzashodan72.blogspot.com)

1st Marker:

Matt1:1 The scroll of the genealogy of Yahusha the Mashiyach (Messiah), the son of Dawid, the son of Abraham:

The marker is set as Yahusha-David-Abraham and the genealogy begins with Abraham.

Matt1:2 Abraham fathered Yitschaq (Issac), and Yitschaq fathered Yaaqob (Jacob), and Yaaqob fathered Yahudah (Judah) and his brothers.

2nd Marker:

Matt1:5 Salmon fathered Boaz by Rachab, Boaz fathered Obed by Ruth, and Obed fathered Yishay.

The 2nd marker is showing the woman from whom Boaz was brought forth through.

I have touched based this in my note link given above, that when a woman is mentioned in a genealogy alongside her husband it has a significance, and we will see that significance in this note. It means that the son born to them was as per the Torah of the dead husband which scripture is either silent or is explicitly describing that the produce through the relationship represented a tying up of 2 tribes. One from his actual father and one from the Torah of the dead husband of the woman to keep his name alive in Yasharal.

Rth 2:1 And Naʽomi had a relative on her husband’s side, a man of great wealth, of the clan of Elimeleḵ, and his name was Boʽaz.

Elimelek was an Ephrathite and if Boaz was a relative to Elimelek, it's evident that he was both an Ephrathite as well as a Yahudite denoted by Rachab alongside her husband Salmon. No where else scripture tells us Rachab was married, and her first husband died and that she re-married Salmon. But how else could their son Boaz be a relative of Elimelek an Ephrathite if Rachab's first husband wouldn't be an Ephrathithe?

Mat 1:5 And Salmon (Yahudite) brought forth Boʽaz by Racḥaḇand Boʽaz brought forth Oḇĕḏ by Ruth, and Oḇĕḏ brought forth Yishai.

I have touch based in my note link shared on who Rachab was. Here is a short transcript from the note:

Jos 2:1 And Yehoshua son of Nun secretly sent out two men from Shittim to spy, saying, “Go, see the land, and Yeriḥo.” And they went, and came to the house of a woman, a whore/zunah H2181 (zayin uau nun hey), and her name was Raḥaḇ, and they lodged/shakab H7901 there.
Jos 2:2 But it was reported to the sovereign of Yeriḥo, saying, “See, men from the children of Yisra’ĕl have come here tonight to search out the land.”

The word here is zunah (female inn keeper) and not zanah (a harlot), the hey at the end makes the word feminine. The translators got it wrong. Moreover, it's clear with the word shakab which means to lodge/take rest/lie down.

She hid the spies on her roof top with the stalks of flax, what were stalks of flax doing on her roof top if not to feed those in her hotel/inn?

Jos 2:6 But she had brought them up to the roof and hidden them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid out on the roof.

When she was saved on the day of Yericho's fall, she was saved along with her father, mother and her brothers and all that she had, which harlot does harlotry with her father, mother and brothers being in the house?

Also, if she is in the genealogy of Mashiyach and was a whore, does it make sense? Wouldn't the lineage be corrupted? Tradionalists don't consider these profound truths from scripture.

3rd Marker:

Mat 1:5 And Salmon (Yahudite) brought forth Boʽaz by Racḥaḇ, and Boʽaz brought forth Oḇĕḏ by Ruth, and Oḇĕḏ brought forth Yishai.

Ruth is mentioned alongside Boaz in the same verse, and scripture explicitly shows us that Ruth was the wife of Machlun the Ephrathite who had died and left her childless and hence, Obed her son would be the son of Machlun the Ephrathite to keep his name alive in Yasharal as per the Torah of the dead person.

1Sa 17:12 Now David was the son of that Ephrathiy of Beyt Lechem Yahudah, whose name was Yishai; and he had eight sons: and the man went among men for an old man in the days of Sha’ul.

David was the direct son of Yishai with a tag now of 2 lineages as per Ephrayim as well as Yahudah. Hence, Matthew begins the genealogy to show Yahusha is the Kinsman redeemer through David of Eprahyim who represented the first born berekah for Yasharal and Yahudah.
Abraham is mentioned because the promise was of the SEED i.e. Mashiyach made to him and not of seeds as of many. And it was said "in you all the nations shall be blessed"

4th marker:

Matt1:6 Yishay fathered Dawid the king. Dawid fathered Shelomoh by the wife of UriYah.

It is interesting to see that Bathsheba's name is not mentioned but she is termed here as 'the wife of UriYah' and this is because David had UriYah killed in battle and the son in Bathsheba's womb was through adultery and cannot be accounted for as son as per Torah of the dead husband. For UriYah was alive when Bathsheba was pregnant. After the son died and so did UriYah, scripture attributes Shelemoh as the son of UriYah as the Torah of the dead husband to keep his name alive and UriYah was a Yahudite, a Hittite by geographical location.
I have touch based on this in my note. Here is a short transcript:

The discrepancy is, how Mashiyach is attributed to be the heir seated on David's throne, was it through Shelemoh or through Nathan?

While most of the biblical scholars attribute that Mashiyach came through the lineage of Shelemoh based on the following promise stated in 1 Ch 22:9-13 as an immediate inference:

1Ch 22:9 ‘See, a son is to be born to you, who is a man of rest. And I shall give him rest from all his enemies all around, for Shelomoh is his name, and peace and rest I give to Yisra’ĕl in his days.
1Ch 22:10 ‘He does build a house for My Name, and he is to be My son, and I am to be his Father. And I shall establish the throne of his reign over Yisra’ĕl forever.’

The first blush meaning seems to clearly show that Shelemoh's throne over Yasharal will be forever because of the immediate inference, but there is much depth to what is stated.
Also, Shelemoh was called as Beloved of Yahuah as Yahuah loved him.

2Sa 12:24 And Dawiḏ comforted Bathsheḇa his wife, and went into her and lay with her. So she bore a son, and he called his name Shelomoh. And יהוה loved him,

Notice scripture names here Bathsheba to be David's wife and the son born was not a first-born son of David but a second son who was Shelemoh. The first son had already died.

2Sa 23:34 Eliphelet son of Aḥasbai, son of the Maʽaḵathite, Eliyam son of Aḥithophel the Gilonite,

1Ch 3:5 And these were born to him in Yerushalayim: Shamah, and Shoḇaḇ, and Nathan, and Shelomoh  four by Bathshua the daughter of Ammi’ĕl. H5988 (father of Bathsheba also Eliyam)

Eliyam was one of the mighty men of king David and so was UriYah. We get a clue that Eliyam was the son of Ahithophel who a chief counsellor of David was and was a Gilonite (the one who suicided as Absalom who self-proclaimed himself as a king didnt accept his counsel). Giloh was a place in Yahudah and its evident that they were all Yahudites just as David was. Hence, Ahithophel was the grandfather of Bathsheba.
There was a need to switch from Shelemoh to someone else in the lineage and this switch is shown by Luke with Yekonyah whose loan son was Shealtiel. The switch also ended the kings ruling and switched to the governor system in Yahudah post the captivity. (for details please refer to my note : Tents of Shem: Understanding the genealogy of Matthew and Luke (dsouzashodan72.blogspot.com)

What is important to see here is scripture placed Shelemoh as last in the sons of Bathsheba in 1Chr 3:5.
In this note I have shared how Abraham, Shem were not firstborn of their fathers, but they were placed above their brothers in the first born berekah. Numerous other Messianic ancestors, such as Seth, Yitshaq, Yaaqob, Yahudah, Yahusaph, Ephrayim, Perets, Masha, David, etc. were not firstborn sons but received the firstborn berekah. Shelemoh being placed as last in the sons who were heirs to David's throne is a mystery which we are seeing decoded.
The switch from Shealtiel ties to Nathan: Remember Matthew's genealogy goes from Abraham all the way down to Mashiyach (descent) and Luke's genealogy goes in an ascent to Mashiyach from Aluahym. He is the end points of the ladder Yaaqob saw where Messengers were ascending and descending on (John 1:51). Luke shows the beginning from Aluahym where He was as Yahuah and Matthew shows the descent down to Him as the Son of Man.

Firstly, we need to clear the air that Luke's genealogy is not from Mary. Genealogies are never from women. Secondly, we need to look at Luke 3:23. The Hebrew renders as he is reckoned/counted as the son of Yoseph. Was He the actual son of Yoseph. No. He was conceived by the power of the Ruach ha Qodesh. Hence, in the lineage He is the firstborn, but from Aluahym, ascending all the way to come in humanity to be counted as a Son of promise to keep the name of Yasharal alive. That is why Shaul in 1Corn 15:45 calls Him as "..the last Adam became a LIFE GIVING RUACH" Some translations say "...as reckoned by law, son of Yosĕph, of Ěli/Heli,"

Luke3:23 And Yahusha began His work, and He was about thirty years old. He was reckoned/counted as (H2803 chashab חשב) the son of Yoseph, the son of Eli,

This is the foundation from scriptures we need to understand. The Son born under Torah, of  the woman, born to revive/give life to keep Yasharal who was dead in sins and trespasses.  He is therefore both Son of Aluahym and Son of Adam. This is so amazing when we understand!

The switch: When we compare Luke 3:27 & Matt 1:12 we see a contradiction in the first blush meaning. But we must understand that Yekonyah died childless. In YarmeYahu 22:28-30 he is termed as KonaYahu and a curse is put on him that he would die childless. Hence, Neri is the loan son in his lineage who kept his name alive in Yasharal while YakonYah himself died childless as prophesied of him.

Luke3:27 the son of Yahuchanan, the son of Reysha, the son of Zerubbabel, the son of Shealti’El, the son of Neri,
Luke3:28 the son of Malki, the son of Addi, the son of Qosam, the son of Elmadam, the son of Er,
Luke3:29 the son of Yahushua (Joshua), the son of Eliezer, the son of Yorim, the son of Mattath, the son of Lewi,
Luke3:30 the son of Shimeon, the son of Yahudah, the son of Yoseph, the son of Yonam, the son of Eliaqim,
Luke3:31 the son of Malah, the son of Manna, the son of Mattatah, the son of Nathan, the son of Dawid,

Matt1:12 After the exile to Babel: YekonYahu fathered Shealti’El, and Shealti’El fathered Zerubbabel.

And Neri's lineage is tracked from Nathan to David. In the ZachaYah prophesy we see house of Nathan mourning for the Son as one that is in bitterness over a FIRSTBORN. Where is Shelemoh's house in this mourning?

Zec12:10 I shall pour out on the house of Dawid and on the inhabitants of Yerushalam, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they shall look on Me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they shall be bitter over Him as one that is in bitterness over a firstborn.
Zec12:11 In that day there shall be great mourning in Yerushalam, like the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the plain of Megiddon.
Zec 12:12 “And the land shall mourn, every clan by itself: the clan of the house of Dawiḏ by itself, and their women by themselves; the clan of the house of Nathan by itself, and their women by themselves.

The 5th marker is this switch where the woman is not mentioned along with the husband in Matthew's genealogy but is silent because IT IS AFTER THE EXILE. In pagan land while there were no scribes to record the genealogy, Yahuah Himself tracked the genealogy. Just as today we have lost our ethnicity and we dont know our tribal inheritance but Yahuchanan saw Yahusha among the 7 candle sticks which is evidence, He is tracking and reaching out to His chosen ones to bring them back into their inheritance. The number 5 in scripture shows the completeness of Torah. Where a transition has taken place from Torah of sin and death to the Torah of life in Mashiyach.

Matt1:12 After the exile to Babel: YekonYahu fathered Shealti’El, and Shealti’El fathered Zerubbabel.

And the tracking was Yoseph the husband of Miryam from whom Yahusha was born who is called Mashiyach. The woman besides her husband giving a loan Son who is from Aluahym and not from the husband.

Matt1:16 Yaaqob fathered Yoseph the husband of Miryam, from whom `Yahusha was born, who is called Mashiyach.

I pray these things make sense and if it does shout out a HalauYahuah! For our Kinsman reedeemer represents both the houses by making them ONE in Himself and keeps Yasharal alive through the Torah of life after Yasharal was killed by the Torah of sin and death which represents the dead husband. Tudah Yahusha!
