The Dwelling Place & It's Pattern

 Ex 25:9 According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern (tabniyth) תבנית H8403 of the tabernacle/mishkan משכן H4908, and the pattern (tabniyth) תבנית H8403 of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.

The word has two root words 'taban תנן ' H8401 which means straw which was used to make bricks and stones used in constructing buildings & 'banah בנה' H1129 which means build.

Ex 5:7 You do not continue to give the people straw/taban תנן H8401 to make brick as yesterday and the third day; let them go and gather straw/taban תנן H8401 for themselves.

Taban has the root word 'ban בן ' which means 'Son'.

Heb 8:5 who serve a copy and shadow and the things that are in the heavens, just as Moshe was warned by Elohim when he was about to erect the tabernacle; for, See, He says to you, that you make all things according to His pattern (Hebrew: tabanyitho תהניתו, Greek: to tupos G5179) which was shown you on the mountain. 

The Hebrew renders 'His pattern' referring to Yahusha 

Heb 9:11  But Messiah, having become a High Priest of the coming good matters, through the greater and more perfect Tent not made with hands, that is, not of this creation, 

The Greek renders 'to/the tupos/type (where we get our English word 'type')

Same word is used in Rom 5:14 

Rom5:14 Although according to this, death reigned from Adam until Mosheh, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the transgression of Adam, which is a TYPE (Greek tupos G5179) of Him who is to come.

Hence, the pattern had in it the type and came with a warning for making and adherence to it. What is interesting to see is Exo 5:7 where the verse says that Pharaoh told his servants not to give them straw/taban for 3 days because Moses on behalf of Yahuah had told Pharaoh to let His people go, Pharoah in his harderned heart asked that they gather the straw for themselves. Yahusha was 3 days and 3 nights in the heart of the earth, and He represented the tabernacle/haykal built with bricks made with straw as a fulfillment of the type. The absence of straw/taban shows an Yasharalite seeking a structure in Egypt (Old Yerushalayim) where spiritually our Master was impaled (Rev 11:8), whereas everything gets transitioned into the body of Mashiyach Yahusha. 


Rev11:8 And their dead bodies shall be in the street of the great city as the spirit is called by the name of Sedom and Egypt, which also their Adon was crucified there.

Tabanyath : where Tau ת is the Mark, Ban בן is the Son and Yath ית is the hand mark. A typology which will be unfolded as a school master leading to Yahusha our Alahym.

The next word we will look at is Mishkan which means tabernacle:


The tabernacle is pointing to the base/kan כן , the surety of the Aman/Yes to be drawn out (mash מש) 

The whole Tabernacle was standing on boards which were joined together in sockets on all sides.

Ex 26:19 You shall make forty sockets/adanay אדני H134 of silver under the twenty boards, two sockets under one board for its two tenons and two sockets/adanay אדני H134 under one board for its two tenons; 

The word 'Adanay/ADAN' H134 is the same word used as H113 translated as 'Master'. Isn't Yahusha the chief corner stone? He will Masha/משה us from the base into His body. It was all foreordained to be the surety for the remnant who do not run after straw/taban תבון to make bricks for Egypt.

The ADON is the Dwelling place/שכן Shakan, He is the Base/כן Kan & אדן Adan of the Tabernacle/ משכן Mishkan & everything points at the base i.e. to Him as the foundation/chief cornerstone.

The MEASURE:

Exo 16:36  And an omer/עמר H6016 is one-tenth of an ěphah.

Eze 45:10  “Have right scales/מאזן  mazan H3976, and a right ěphah, and a right bath. 
Eze 45:11  “Let the ěphah and the bath be of the same measure/תכן takan H8506 , so that the bath contains one-tenth of a ḥomer/חמר H2563 , and the ěphah one-tenth of a ḥomer/חמר H2563. Let their measure/מתכנת matakanth H4971  be according to the ḥomer/חמר H2563

Yahuah tells the princes of His people to have just measures in executing justice to His people .

Ephah & Bath are to be of the same measure. So if an omer = 1/10th of an ephah, then an omer should also be = 1/10th of a bath.

Mazan : מאזן H3976 has the root word 'azan אזן' H239 and is the same word used in Psa 40:6  

Slaughtering and meal offering You did not desire; You have opened my hearingazan אזן H251; Ascending offering and sin offering You did not ask for.

He who has ears, let him hear.

Bath: נת H1324 is the same word H1323 for 'daughter' & for 'house' & house also is likened to a body/In. 

Ephah: אפה H374 has the root word 'aph אפ ' H637 which means 'also/moreover' & 'aph אפ ' H639 which means 'face/nostrils/anger/wrath & 'pah פה' H6310 which means mouth.

Homer/Chamer: חמר H2563 means heaps/clay/mortar (all used in building). The word chamar/חמר  chamor חמור H2543 a relative word also means 'donkey'

Matt 21:5 “Say to the daughter of Tsion, Behold your king is coming to you, humble, and sitting on a donkey/חמר chamar , even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.”

Exo 34:20  “But the first-born of a donkey/ חמר chamar H2543 you ransom with a lamb. And if you do not ransom, then you shall break his neck/עָרַף araph H6202. Every first-born of your sons you shall ransom. And they shall not appear before Me empty-handed. 

Orpah עָרְפָּה) 𐤏𐤓𐤐𐤄) H6204 is related to עֹרֶף) 𐤏𐤓𐤐) 'araph' H6203 which means 'back of the neck' and , 'araph' (עָרַף) 𐤏𐤓𐤐 H6202 which means 'break the neck'

In a spiritual comparison we see a beautiful picture of redeeming the first-born of a donkey who is a beast of burden and if it cannot be redeemed 'break it's neck/arpah', it is rendered useless as it's not of Yahuah but is pagan just as Orpah/Arpah (daughter in law of Naomi) who went back to her people when she had the opportunity to cling to Yahuah and his people. 

Speaking of the homer/chamor, its the bigger measure than ephah, bath and omer.

We saw omer = 1/10th of an Ephah i.e. 10 omer is 1 ephah

ephah is equal to bath

homer/chamor = both Ephah and Bath are 1/10th of the homer/chamor. i.e. 10 ephah is 1 homer/chamor

Hence, Omer = 1/100th of an Homer/Chamor i.e. 100 omer is 1 homer/chamor.

Since, homer/chamor in Hebrew means heaps/clay/mortar/donkey and holds the ephah, bath & the omer in a body/building of a pattern in measuring it, it had to be ransomed with a lamb. And that is the picture we see of the need for a chamor to be ransomed or its neck be broken. Yahusha by riding the chamor, as the lamb redeemed it. We are in that body of clay with diverse measures & followed a diverse measures pattern but set right by Yahusha in Himself as He is the perfect and just measure. He who has ears to hear let him hear.

If the sons of Yasharal would ask their fathers the significance of this redeeming, they were to tell them as stated below in Exo 13:14-15.

Exo 13:14  “And it shall be, when your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What is this?’ then you shall say to him, ‘By strength of hand יהוה brought us out of Mitsrayim, out of the house of bondage.
Exo 13:15  ‘And it came to be, when Pharaoh was too hardened to let us go, that יהוה killed every first-born in the land of Mitsrayim, both the first-born of man and the first-born of beast. Therefore I am slaughtering to יהוה every male that open the womb, but every first-born of my sons I ransom.’

We see the fulfillment by Yahusha as He is the Lamb of Alahym who takes the sins of this world. Everything measures unto Him. The omer, ephah, the animal sacrifices, the first fruits offerings of manchah/grain and the redemption of the firstborn sons and beasts, the redemption of a chamor/donkey which is beast of burden (which He rode to show that He redeemed it as He is the lamb) etc. all measure to Him. 

Now let's decipher the words where Yahuah tells that the Measure should be EQUAL

Scales: מאזן mazan :  מ (mem) as a prefix in Hebrew means from/of/out of , azan אזן 'hearing'

Ephah אפה : (aleph) א as a prefix in Hebrew means 'I will' and 'pah פה' in Hebrew means mouth. We see 'aph אף' in Hebrew means 'face/anger'. Hence, decoding the word shows ''I will speak'' with a face towards you (not in anger) or face away from you (in anger).

Bath נת H1324 : House or body/Daughter

Chamar/Chomer H2563 & H2543: Clay/heaps/donkey

Its like saying "Out of what you hear, HEAR' (mazan) I will also face & speak (ephah) in a body (bath) in just/equal measure (takan) riding on a donkey (homer) in completeness (denoted by 1/10th of both ephah and bath which are the words spoken (ephah) in the body of clay (bath)" ).

In simple sentence "In what you hear, in your hearing, I will also face and speak in a body like an equal one as you, riding on a donkey in completing what was required"

We saw the omer is 1/10th of an ephah. Hence, Omer/Amar is related to the counting of 7 x 7 + 1 in a Shemitah leading to the release of the Ruach. On First fruits the priest would give a waive offering of a sheaf/omer in the temple (Lev 23:9-14). On the morrow of the High Shabbath of the first fruits 7 Shabbaths were to be counted to Shavout/Pentecost and what happened on Pentecost? The Ruach ha Qodesh was poured out. Similarly, 7 x 7 years +1 in a Shemitah was a jubilee, a release of a captive. Hence, this just measure had to be kept in a 120 jubilees pattern which was determined (120 x 50 = 6000) for man to attain the 7000th year in His release. i.e. 6001 would be the 7000th year (leading to the 1000 years/alaph shanah) which would bring Him to the Rest & Rule in Mashiyach as per the pattern of the counting of the first fruits.

Gen 6:3  And יהוה said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever in his going astray. He is flesh, and his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.”

As omer/amar is 1/10th of an ephah, it shows a leading to either being face to face with Yahuah now speaking in a body of clay transitioned as Yahusha, discerned by the seer riding on a donkey. The seer not chosen is being faced away from Him with the woman called wickedness sitting in the ephah as ZacharYah says in Zec Chapter 5.

Zec 5:5  And the messenger who was speaking with me came out and said to me, “Lift up your eyes now, and see what this is that is going forth.” 
Zec 5:6  And I said, “What is it?” And he said, “It is an ěphah-measure that is going forth.” Again he said, “This is their appearance throughout the earth: 
Zec 5:7  “And see, a lead cover lifted up, and this: a woman sitting inside the ěphah-measure!” 
Zec 5:8  And he said, “This is Wickedness!” And he threw her down into the ěphah-measure, and threw the lead weight over its mouth. 

Eze 43:10  “Son of man, explain the House to the house of Yisra’ěl, and when they are ashamed of their crookednesses, they shall measure the SUM or PATTERN/תכנית takanyath H8508. 

Eze 43:11  “And since they shall be ashamed of all that they did, make known to them the design/תכונה takunah H8498 of the House and its form/tsurah צורה H6699, and its goings out and its entrances, its entire design and all its laws, and all its forms and all its Torah. And write it down before their eyes, so that they guard its entire form and all its laws, and shall do them.

Tsurah צורה H6699 comes from the word 'tsur צור' which means 'Rock' and Yahuah is called as Yahuah Tsuri which means 'Yahuah is my Rock'

2Sa 22:47  “יהוה lives! And blessed is my Rock/צורי Tsuri H6697! And exalted is my Elohim, The Rock/צור Tsur H6697 of my deliverance, 

Ezekiel is told to explain the HOUSE to the house of Yasharal and when they are ashamed of their crookedness, they shall measure the PATTERN i.e. they will identify with the One who has transitioned. And the PATTERN of the HOUSE and its ROCK i.e. the house that stands on and the blessings of being within and judgements of being without i.e. denoted by entrances and exits according to the Torah.

Aren't we letting people know about what is Babel (בבל) which is a house (bath) within a house (bath) teaching (lamed).

The king of Egypt asked Yasharalites to deliver the Sum/Pattern of bricks required to build without STRAW (Taban) which was only possible by the Tabernacle made without hands from above.

Exo 5:17  But he said, “You are idle! You are idle! That is why you say, ‘Let us go and slaughter to יהוה.’ 
Exo 5:18  “So now go, work. And straw is not given to you, but deliver the SUM/תכן H8506 takan of bricks.” 






Now let's look at Ezekiel 28

Eze 28:12  “Son of man, take up a lamentation for the sovereign of Tsor/ צור Tsur H6865, and you shall say to him, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “You were sealing up/חתם H2856 chattam  a pattern/ תכנית takanyath H8508, complete in wisdom and perfect in loveliness. 
Eze 28:13  “You were in Ěḏen, the garden of Elohim. Every precious stone was your covering: the ruby, topaz, and diamond, beryl, shoham, and jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald and gold. The workmanship of your settings and mountings was prepared for you on the day you were created. 
Eze 28:14  “You were the anointed keruḇ that covered. And I placed you, you were on the set-apart mountain of Elohim. You walked up and down in the midst of stones of fire. 
Eze 28:15  “You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you. 
Eze 28:16  “By the greatness of your trade you became filled with violence within, and you sinned. So I thrust you from the mountain of Elohim, and I destroyed you, O covering keruḇ, from the midst of the stones of fire. 
Eze 28:17  “Your heart was lifted up because of your loveliness, you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendour. I threw you to the earth, I laid you before sovereigns, to look at you. 
Eze 28:13  “You were in Ěḏen, the garden of Elohim. Every precious stone was your covering: the ruby, topaz, and diamond, beryl, shoham, and jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald and gold. The workmanship of your settings and mountings was prepared for you on the day you were created.

Eze 28:15  “You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you.

Eze 28:17  “Your heart was lifted up because of your loveliness, you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendour. I threw you to the earth, I laid you before sovereigns, to look at you. 

The lamentation is taken for the king of Tsur and we saw 'Tsur' means 'Rock'. There can only be One Rock and that is our Alahym. The language in Ezekiel is paradox taking on a lamentation for the king who likened himself to the Rock but was a man of sin. He sealed within himself the PATTERN, the very same word 'takanyath'. The man of sin in the paradox is likened to hold within his body the typology pattern of Eden, of a covering cherub. The chapter begins by asking him a question whether he is wiser than Daniel and whether no secret has been hidden from him?

Eze 28:2  “Son of man, say to the prince of Tsor, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “Because your heart is lifted up, and you say, ‘I am Ěl, I sit in the seat of Elohim, in the heart of the seas,’ whereas you are a man, and not Ěl, though you set your heart as the heart of Elohim! 
Eze 28:3  “Look, are you wiser than Dani’ěl? Has no secret been hidden from you? 
Eze 28:4  “By your wisdom and your understanding you have made riches for yourself, and gathered gold and silver into your treasuries. 
Eze 28:5  “By your great wisdom, by your trade you have increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches.” 
Eze 28:6  Therefore thus said the Master יהוה, “Because you have set your heart as the heart of Elohim, 

Most of the people believe this lamentation is for shatan who was in Eden without understanding the typology of the man of sin seated in the temple pattern likened as Eden which is the kingdom of Alahym. The usage of king of Tsur & his merchandise is parabolic as there was king named Hiram who was David's friend and had supplied Shelemoh skilled craftsmen, stone squarer's, cedar wood, cypress logs. There was also a skilled craftsman named Hiram from Tsur who did major work required in the temple.

1Ki 7:13  And Sovereign Shelomoh sent and brought Ḥiram from Tsor. 
1Ki 7:14  He was the son of a widow from the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tsor, a bronze worker. And he was filled with wisdom and understanding and skill in working with all kinds of bronze work. So he came to Sovereign Shelomoh and did all his work.  

The sum held within the man of sin is the wisdom to make everything as per the pattern shown to them in the same likeness and measurements which would be a typology to the Tent from above made without hands.
The typology is also of Adam who was a type of him who was to come i.e. Mashiyach Yahusha (Rom 5:14) and Adam concealed in his body the pattern from above. Because the earthy man had to make way for the Heavenly man. Since, Yahusha came in the likeness of Adamic race, he is termed as the last Adam (1Corin 15:45).

So the man of sin is not one person, but one occupying the carnal pattern which was a typology of the heavenly pattern.

The word 'chattam' חתם H2856' in Ezekiel 28:12 translated as "sealing up" is a document which is rolled up and sealed with wet clay. The signet ring of the owner bears the image of his seal and is pressed into the clay.
Hence, only Yahusha would unroll the document to show that He is the fulfillment of the typology and the remnant would leave looking for straw to make bricks to build a physical/carnal temple and transition into His body which is from above.

The face (ephah) that one puts on a body (bath) determines whether his hearing (mazan) is from the heavenly pattern or the carnal pattern.

Summary:

The tabanyth was the pattern shown to Moses on the mount and was warned to make the earthly Tent in the same pattern shown him and the pattern pointed to the base of the structure whose cornerstone is Mashiyach. This pattern was the tupos/typology of the true pattern. Moses as a servant was faithful in the house and bore witness of what would be spoken later,  but the Son as the Master of His own house is the fulfillment as we are built up in Him i.e. His body.

Heb 3:5  And Mosheh indeed was trustworthy in all His house as a servant, for a witness of what would be spoken later, 
Heb 3:6  but Messiah as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the boldness and the boasting of the expectation firm to the end. 

The equal balances of the ephah and the bath show us the hearing that comes from Him to enable us to identify Him as the fulfillment of the just measures in His body.

The takanyth is the sum/measure of Mashiyach which Yasharal will be ashamed when they see and understand the true pattern of their house because all the while Yasharal was following a straw man, in making bricks for Egypt and Yahuah had to withdraw the straw for 3 days for them to realize the bitter bondage.
