When we read Matthew 24 we see is the most mis-understood and misinterpreted Chapter because people have interpreted it carnally to show the events mentioned in it. We hear all sorts of things as a secret rapture, one world anti-messiah, world war, pandemic etc. While people crossed over to the Hebrew movement view it as an accomplished text looking back at AD 70 when Rome destroyed the Jewish temple, and the Jews were scattered to the ends of the earth. Yet others of these Hebrew and Christian denominations believe 1948 as the gathering back of the Jews to their land where they would build a 3rd temple where the anti-messiah will sit ruling and then Matthew 24 events begin inserting the Millennial rule of 1000 years of Mashiyach Yahusha. While we won't get into what people believe, we must visit the verses in open-mindedness to see and decode the text. Please note that verse by verse will not be covered in this study but I will make sure a foundation is laid so that the next time you read these passages you would get a clarity on the signs of times these events take place in a scripture vs scripture comparison.
Matt24:1 And Yahusha went out from the Temple to go on his way,
and His disciples approached Him to show Him the buildings of the Temple.
Matt24:2 And Yahusha answered and said to them, “Do you see all these things?
Truly, I say to you, there shall not remain here one stone upon another stone
that shall not be torn down.”
We begin by understanding the disciples approached Yahusha to show Him the buildings of the Temple. The buildings plural is referred to as the domes inside the two gates to the temple mount, the place he made for mikveh (the Jewish religious bath), outbuildings, courts etc. Yahusha says not one stone will be left upon the other. Its destruction completely with no temple shows the reference was to the Second Temple and not a third temple which is not yet built.
Matt 24:3 He sat down on the Mount of the Zeythim (Olives), His disciples approached
Him alone, and said, “Tell us please: When shall this be,
and what is the sign of Your coming, and the sign of the end of the age?”
The disciples asked Him the sign of His coming and the sign of the end of the age. This is where the confusion lies because Yahusha spoke of a series of events pinpointing to the signs of His nearness and end of the age.
End of the age:
The Hebrew words are qets ha olam (קץ העולם) where 'qets' קץ H7093 means 'process of time/end/farther/later/after' & 'olam' H5769 means 'forever/of old/everlasting/perpetual.'
The Greek words are 'suntelia G4930 which means 'consummation/entire completion/end of a dispensation) 'aion' G165 which means 'ever/world/ages/course.'
Both the Hebrew and the Greek words show us that the disciples asked Yahusha the 'latter course summing up to the end'. They were asking for 'SIGN' i.e. sign of His coming & 'SIGN' of a 'latter course summing up to the end'.
Matt24:4 And Yahusha answered and said to them, “Beware, lest one misleads you.”
Matt 24:5 “For many shall come in My name, saying, ‘I am He that is the Mashiyach,’
and they shall mislead many.’”
The sign would begin when many shall come showing an exposition of 'who the Mashiyach is'. They would misrepresent Him. It doesn't mean someone would claim that he himself is the Mashiyach from where we see Christianity and Hebrew circles teaching the one man ruling anti-messiah doctrine referring to 2 Thess 2 where Shaul the emissary speaks explicitly of the man of sin to be revealed, the son of destruction.
2Th2:1 Behold, we ask you, my brothers, with regard to the coming of our Adon Yahusha the Mashiyach and our gathering together to Him,
2Th2:2 that is not quickly to be shaken in knowledge and that is not to be alarmed,
neither by spirit nor by word nor by letter, such as the extension from us, saying,
the day of Mashiyach has come.
2Th2:3 Let no man in any way deceive you, for it shall not come unless the falling away
is to come first, and the man of sin is to be revealed, the son/ben of destruction/ (Hebrew:abaddon, Greek: apoleia G684),
2Th2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called El or that is served,
for he also sits in the temple of the Elohim, as Elohim, presenting himself that He is Elohim.
Firstly, Shaul the emissary also is speaking about the time of the coming of our Adon Yahusha and our gathering to Him, which will not happen until the falling away comes first revealing the man of sin, the ben ha abaddon. Shaul is referring to the end time assemblies and not to a 2nd or 3rd Jewish temple. Remember in Rev 9 speaks of the 'deep well' from which the hordes of Sheol came darkening the sun, and that 'deep well' had a king over them whose name in Hebrew is 'Abaddon and in Greek his name is 'Apolyon'. 2 Thess 2:3 'apoleia' G684 is rooted in G623 'Apolyon' where 'apoleia' means 'destruction' and 'Apolyon' means 'destroyer.' And this is in reference to ha shatan and people occupying the place that has been handed over to him. Hence, Shaul represents him as the 'man of sin' who says ''I am He that is the Mashiyach" Matthew 24:5.
Yahusha said "Unless you believe I am He you will die in your sins" John 8:24
Rev 9:11 And they have a king over them, the messenger of the abyss, whose name
in Ibrith (Hebrew) is Abaddon, and in Yuanith (Greek) he has the name Apolyon.
Matt 24:6 “But you shall ultimately hear/( Hebrew: shamoa שמע, Greek: akouō G191) of wars and hearing/ (Hebrew: shamoth שמעות, Greek: akoe G189) of wars. Beware,
lest you become alarmed, for surely all of this shall happen, but it is still not the end.”
Matt 24:7 “For one nation shall rise against another nation, and one kingdom against
another kingdom, and there shall be famine and disease and earthquakes here and there.
The English has translated 'shamoth שמעות' as 'rumors' whereas 'shama' means 'Hear'. The Greek word 'akoe G189' & 'akouo' G191 also means hear/hearing.
'wars and hearing of 'wars'. The Hebrew word for war is 'milchamah מלחמה' H4421 from H3898 'lacham לחם' which means 'fight' & the same word 'lacham' H3899 means 'bread לחם'.
'Lacham לחם' is rooted in 'milchamah מלחמה'. Hence, we understand it spiritually as 'war of breads', a physical and a spiritual bread. Now you will say brother you are spiritualizing the text but look at the next verse which will define what I am saying.
“For one nation shall rise against another nation, and one kingdom against another kingdom...Matt 24:7
Gen25:22 But the children struggled together in her womb;
and she said, If it is so, why then am I this way? So, she went to inquire of Yahuah.
Gen25:23 Yahuah said to her, two nations are in your womb;
and two peoples shall be separated from your body; And one people shall be stronger
than the other people; and the older shall serve the younger.
Wasn't Rebecca told that 2 nations are in her womb as she went to enquire after she had a terrible experience of the children struggling in her womb?. Who were the 2 nations? Esau and Yaaqob. We all know the story of Esau selling his birthright to Yaaqob for a morsel of food and termed as a 'fornicator' in Heb 12:16 because 'fornication' is sinning against one's own body.
1Cor 6:18 Keep away from the fornication. Every sin that a man commit is
outside the body, but he that commits fornication sins against his own body.
1Cor6:19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Ruach Ha Qodesh dwelling in you,
whom you have from Elohim, and that you are not that is of your own?
The sinning against own body is related to the 'firstborn blessing' which Esau despised and lost it to Yaaqob. A misrepresentation of Mashiyach Yahusha is despising Him & His firstborn blessing, this would term you as a 'fornicator'.
Coming back to the Matthew 24 text, the prophecy is related to the the 'latter course summing up to the end' giving an example of the second temple destruction.
Matt 24:8 “But all these are only the beginning of birth pangs.”
The 'war of breads' (physical vs spiritual) and the two nations rising against each other (physical vs spiritual) all sum up to birth pangs.
The Covenant Yasharal depicted as being clothed with the sun, moon under her feet and crown of 12 stars (Rev 12:1) was seen in birth pangs of giving birth to the man child. The Hebrew word for birth pangs is 'chabalyam חבלים' which is the same word used in Rev 12:2 translated as 'birth pangs'. And so is the same Greek word 'odinon & odino G5604/G5605' used both in Matt 24:8 and Rev 12:2.
Rev12:2 and she is being with child cried out in birth pangs, and in agony of giving birth.
Gal4:19 My children, with whom I travail in birth pangs (Hebrew: chabalay חבלי & Greek: odino G5605) until the Mashiyach is formed in you.
Shaul the emissary had the travailing in his soul as 'birth pangs' until Mashiyach is formed in the talmidim (disciples). Not only Shaul the emissary, even we have the same yearning of Mashiyach being formed in us, where we grow to the full stature of Him. Yahusha says these are beginning of birth pangs, pointing to the womb where the baby is nourished and at the same time in struggle with the other twin in the womb.
Then in Matthew 24 Yahusha Adon lets us know that for His sake, His disciples will be hated, killed, many will stumble, betray his neighbor, man will hate his brother, false prophets will arise and mislead many, love of many will grow cold, but he who endures to the end will be saved. He also lets us know that the end will come only after the good news of the kingdom shall be proclaimed in all the earth as a testimony to all the nations.
Matt24:13 “But the one who endures until the time of the end, he shall be saved.”
Matt24:14 “And this good news of the kingdom shall be proclaimed in all the earth
as testimony to all the nations, and afterward, the end shall come.”
Matt24:15 “Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation which was spoken
by Dani’El the prophet, standing in the holy place, let the reader understand,”
Abomination of Desolation:
Matt 24:15 “Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation which was spoken
by Dani’El the prophet, standing in the set-apart place, let the reader understand,”
Matt 24:16 “then let the men who are in Yahudah flee to the mountains.”
Matt24:17 “and whoever is on the field must not return to get anything from his house.”
Matt24:18 “and let him who is in the field not turn back to carry away his garment.”
Many interpret Abomination of Desolation spoken by Daniel the prophet to mean as stated in the book of Maccabees where the abominable image was set up by Antiochus 4 Epiphanes (Greek ruler) inside the temple, as a result the daily sacrifices were stopped until the temple was re-dedicated and cleansed. This has historically taken place before the birth of Yahusha, but Yahusha is showing us it is a futuristic prophecy which needs to be understood as Matt 24:15 says "...let the reader understand''. Hence, we must understand the prophecy based on 'latter course summing up to the end'. Furthermore, Yahusha says in Matt 24:16 "then let the men who are in Yahudah flee to the mountains."
This will not make sense if you are positionally believing that the 'Abomination of desolation' event took place around 165 years before Mashiyach was born in this world. It will also not make sense to believe that it spoke of the Herod's temple which was destroyed by the Romans in AD 70 i.e. after Mashiyach. It doesn't sum up because the temple veil was torn when Mashiyach died indicating that Alahym is no longer dwelling in a manmade temple, the new covenant states we are the temple of Alahym and His Ruach dwells in us.
Hence, we must understand it in a futuristic perspective as the emissaries (apostles) warned of the falling away which will be coming ahead after they are dead. If Yahudah in Matt 24:16 has to be taken literally, then what about all those beyond the Yarden i.e. in Galilee who also believed in Yahusha and those in the Decapolis? Where have they to flee to?
Matt 26:32 “But after I (Yahusha) rise, I shall go ahead of you to the Galil.”
Matt 28:7 (Messenger said) Go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead,
and behold, He is going ahead of you into the Galil, and there you shall see Him.
Behold, I have told you.
Matt 28:10 Yahusha said to them, “Do not fear. Go and tell My brethren to go on
to the Galil, and there they shall see Me.”
1Cor15:6 After that He was seen by over more than five hundred brothers at one time,
of whom many ones remain until now, but some of them have fallen asleep.
Shaul the emissary speaks of the 500 brethren to whom He appeared as a reference to these people being in Galilee. Hence, Yahudah has to be understood as the tribe from which our Adon Yahusha Himself sprang from with the Malchitsedek priesthood. Fleeing to the mountains is a synonym used as figurative of scattering. This is also synonymous with Rev 12:6 where the Covenant Yasharal woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared by Alahym where she would be nourished for 1260 days. If we divide 1260/30 days, we arrive at 42 months.
Rev12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness in which she had a place there prepared
by Elohim, so that she would be nourished there for one thousand two hundred
and sixty days.
What is the significance of 42 months?
Rev11:2 You leave out the court which is outside the temple
and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations;
and they shall trample the set-apart city for forty-two months.
When measuring the ruach temple, the Messenger told Yahuchanan to leave out the court outside the temple and not measure it as it has been given to the gentiles to trample for 42 months. This is the same period the Covenant Yasharal is nourished in the wilderness for 1260 days.
This wilderness journey foreshadow depicts the 42 places Yasharal encamped in their wilderness journey to the promised land i.e., the plains of Moab near Yericho, when they came out of Mitsrayim/Egypt (Numbers 33:1-49).

Chor-haggidgad 30. Yotbathah 31. Abronah 32. Etsyon-gaber 33. Qadesh 34. Mount Hor 35. Tsalmonah 36. Phunon 37. Oboth 38. Iye-haabarim 39. Dibon-gad 40. Almon-diblathaim 41. mountains of Abarim 42. plains of Moab by the Yarden opposite Yericho
The 1260 number of days/42 chadashim (made new) are all figurative of the wilderness journey Yasharal is in when the abomination of desolation is taking place.
These 1260 days or 42 months can also be seen in:
1. The living creature made war with Yasharal for 42 months (Rev 13:5)
Rev 13:5 And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies,
and authority to make war forty-two months was given to him.
2. 42 lads were torn up by 2 bears when they were mocking Alaysha/Elisha & he cursed them in the name of Yahuah, this shows a picture of the shaniy/two beastly kingdoms denoted by 2 bears (one physical & one spiritual) tearing up the lads/yaladim (yalad means: ones brought forth) (2 Kings 2:23-24).
2Ki2:23 Then he went up from there to Beyth’El; and as he was going up by the way,
young lads came out from the city and mocked him and said to him,
Go up, you baldhead; go up, you baldhead!
2Ki2:24 When he looked behind him and saw them, he cursed them in the name of Yahuah.
And two bears came out of the woods and tore up forty-two lads of them.
3. 42 cities to be given to the Levites (Numbers 35:6-7) plus 6 cities as cities of refuge to them.
Num35:6 The cities which you shall give to the Lewiim shall be the six cities of refuge,
which you shall give for the manslayer to flee there
and besides them you shall give forty-two cities.
Num35:7 All the cities which you shall give to the Lewiim shall be forty-eight cities, them,
and their pasture lands.
These 42 cities would be their habitation and the 6 where they could flee to if they mistakenly killed anyone and dwell there. We see the number 42 as habitation of Levites & understand that the Levitical priesthood today through carnal people claiming to be part of Yasharal trying to overpower the Malchitsedek priesthood by their man slaying Torah of sin and death, with nowhere to flee to.
Dan 12:7 I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river,
as he raised his right hand and his left toward the heavens, and swore by Him who lives
forever that it would be for a time, times, and dividing of time; and when they have made an end
of scattering the power of the holy people, all these events shall be finished.
This can also be seen as in the lunar calendar followed by Jews as 360 (time) +720 (times 360*2) +180 (dividing of time 360/2). Hence, 360 + 720 +180 =1260 days.
In the parallel account related to the 'latter times summing up to the end' our Adon said
Luke 21:24 “and they shall fall by the edge of the sword and shall be led captive
into all the nations; and Yerushalam shall be trampled underfoot by the gentiles
until the times of the gentiles are fulfilled.”
Are you supposing that the Adon was speaking of literal Yerushalayim or the one occupied by the adversary and his people which includes the New Testament corporate assembly? Remember, all fleeing from Yahudah (the tribe they identify with from where the Master sprang from) are fleeing to the mountains surrounding Yerushalayim figuratively, i.e. the wilderness where we are seeing the Covenant Yasharal woman is nourished for 1260 days equivalent to 42 months which is the same time the Gentiles are trampling the corporate assembly which claim they are the New Testament temple.
Dan 11:31 Forces from him shall stand, shall profane the sanctuary, the fortress,
and shall remove the set sacrifice. And they shall set up the abomination of desolation.
Dan11:32 By flatteries Chalaq חלק H2514 he shall ruin evildoers against the covenant,
but the people who know his El shall be strong and shall work.
Dan11:33 And those who have insight among the people shall teach to the many;
yet they shall fall by sword and by flame, by captivity and by plunder for days.
Chalaq חלק H2514 is from Chalaqah חלקה H2513 which means 'the part received from what was divided'. In short it means 'portion'
This king has forces (as seen in Rev 9 whose names is mentioned as Abaddon in Hebrew and Apolyon in Greek) who shall stand and profane the sanctuary removing the set sacrifice i.e. a synonym for the true sacrifice of our Adon. He will replace it with the abomination of desolation (remember, the Adon says in Matthew 24:15 "let the reader understand"). By the portion allotted to him (translated as flatteries) he shall ruin evildoers against the covenant.
Daniel is told which he notes in 12:7 that the power of the set-apart people will be scattered for moed, moedim and khatsay. 'Moaed' is the very word used for Yahuah's Shabbath and feast days as mentioned in Leviticus 23. We saw the 1260 days or 3.5 years or 42 months the time period where Covenant Yasharal is nourished away from the face of the dragon and the very same period where the corporate assemblies are overrun by 'the abomination of desolation'. The truthful testimony (Torah & the Prophets) is killed after these symbolic 1260 days by ha shatan denoted by the king over the abyss/bottomless pit (as translated elsewhere) who is loosed for the 'little season'. The moaed, moaedim & khatsay comes to an end.
Re 11:3 ¶ And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
Rev11:7 And when they have finished their witness, the living creature (Hebrew: chayah, Greek: therion) that comes up
out of the abyss (Hebrew: thahum, Greek: abyssou) shall make war with them, and shall overcome them and kill them.
Rev 12:5 And she bore a male child who was to shepherd all nations with a rod of iron. And her child was caught away to Elohim and to His throne.
Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by Elohim, to be nourished there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
Rev12:13 And it came to pass when the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the male child.
Rev12:14 But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, to fly into the wilderness to her place, that she was nourished there for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
Rev12:15 And the serpent spewed a river of water from his mouth after the woman, to be carried away with the river.
Rev12:16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and drank up the river which the dragon spewed out of his mouth.
If you notice in Revelation 12:6 its mentioned that Covenant Yasharal after delivering the man child fled into the wilderness where she is nourished for 1260 days (Rev 12:5-6). This confinement shows that she is nourished when ha shatan was tied to the 1,000 years. And the other time, times and dividing of time which again is 1260 (Rev 12:14) is actually the same period because the man child who is Yahusha, is the center point for the Old Testament believers and New Testament believers, coz all transition to Him. The war in heavens with MiyakEL stated in Rev 12:7 (MiyakEl means 'who is as Alahym' and is figurative of Mashiyach Himself) shows Shatan is cast out of the heavenly pattern and finds no place in his desire to get into the new creation order and he again tries to persecute the woman in the wilderness but she is given wings of a great eagle, the water he spews out of his mouth is figurative of the false basarah's to bring her back into his confined place, but the earth (carnal people) help her as they drink those spewed waters. When we see Rev 11:3, the 2 witnesses prophesying for 1260 days, they are the Torah and the Prophets and during their testimony, ha shatan was restrained from overrunning the assembly, even though his plantations were within the kingdom which we saw in the parables of wheat and tares, wise and foolish virgins, birds in the branches, leaven in 3 measures of meal etc.
Rev 11:8 and their dead bodies lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Seḏom and Mitsrayim, where also our Master was impaled,
Rev 11:9 and some of the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations see their dead bodies for three and a half days (Greek: hemera G2250), and not allow their dead bodies to be placed into tombs,
Hemera G2250 is from 'hora' G5610. Hemera G2250 means 'time space between dawn and dark/figuratively a period/age/years/days.
Hora G5610 means “hour” (literally or figuratively): - day, hour, instant, season, X short, [even-] tide, (high) time.
Hence, to translate it as days wont make sense. When we compare with 1260 days/42 months, we see it as 3.5 years. Hence, its makes sense when we take it as years as its tied up to the other texts.
42/12 = 3.5 years
And remember, this is figurative language to let us know that end of a Shemitah which was bound by time, times and dividing of time and we saw the word for time and times mean the 'appointed days' as stated in Leviticus 23. The Shemitah includes the feast days (moead: appointed times), Shabbath days & law of the Shabbath for the land.
Indicating the carnal Yerushalayim when the truthful testimony is killed, the dead bodies indicating the elect still being in the Corporate assembly being silenced until they hear the voice "Come up here!''
Rev 11:11 And after the three and a half days (Greek: hemera G2250 'years') the RUACH of life from Elohim entered into them, and they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them.
Rev 11:12 And they heard a loud voice from the heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up into the heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them.
"Come up here" is to be understood that we run to the heavenly pattern, to be under the shadow of the wings of Mashiyach. The language is parabolic and in signification, it would be grave error to take it literally being taken to heaven because the third woe is yet to come it says and we are right here on earth until the consummation, there is no pre-trib or mid-trib rapture.
Rev 11:14 The second woe is past, and see, the third woe is coming speedily.
Hence, all this is tying up and woven to understand ha shatan's loosening is his attempt to gain ground within the new creation order while he is given ground in the Corporate assembly in this world. He has no ground in those who are in the New Creation Order. All the elect in the Corporate assembly flee as they see Mystery Babylon sitting within (Remember ZacharYah 5 the woman termed as wickedness was sitting inside the ephah).
Those outside in the field or housetop do not enter the house to create a new assembly. The house is the carcass or dead body and the signs of times tells us, its delivered to ha shatan for this little season.
Matt24:17 “and whoever is on the housetop must not return to get anything from his house.
Matt24:18 “and let him who is in the field not turn back to carry away his garment.”
Housetop and Field is a place of being in the world preaching the 'basharah'. Housetop is a place of announcement, not being afraid of being killed. Remember 'geyhinnom' was the valley where the carcasses of the beasts sacrificed were burnt where their worm doesn't die out and neither the fire.
Matt 10:27 “What I say to you in the darkness, speak it out in the light.
What is whispered in your ears, proclaim it from the housetops.”
Matt 10:28 “Do not fear of those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul.
Rather, fear the One who is able to destroy both the soul and the body in geyhinnom.”
The house בית (beyt) is the assembly where the one on the housetop & in the field are commanded not to enter it. And it's because the house referring to an assembly is given over to ha shatan as his portion. The word 'beyt בית' is also the body. We transition from a dead carcass to the Living Alahym in His body which rose from the dead and He is alive forevermore. We who have fled to Yahusha for refuge under His wings are nourished away from the face of the dragon for time, times and dividing of time/1260 days/42 months/3.5 years where the entire Shemitah denoted by the word 'moaed' for 'appointed times' are handed over to ha shatan to scatter the power of the set-apart people. We need to be discerning of the signs of times.
The parables:
The parable of the wise and foolish virgins is uniquely placed among other parables in Matthew 25 in the Olivet discourse (a continuation of the events Yahusha spoke of in Matthew 24) to show the kingdom of the ha shamayim/heaven has a mixed multitude of the spiritual as well as the fleshly and only towards the end the separation happens. Following this parable is the parable of the talents/kikar and the separation of sheep and goats which show that the end is near and the separation of what was mixed as stated in the parables in Matthew Chapter 13 are being separated.
Matthew 13 shows us a series of parables where the enemy came and mixed his people in the reign of the ha shamayim. Examples: parables of the seed sown, parable of wheat and tares, parable of the mustard seed where the fowls of the air (unclean birds) made nests in the branch of the huge tree, woman mixing leaven in three measures of fine flour, parable of the net where the good and bad fish came together. Hence, Matthew 25 is in the Olivet discourse showing the separation of what the enemy sowed in the reign of the ha shamayim.
Matt13:34 Yahusha spoke all these things in parables to the crowd of people,
and He did not speak to them a word without a parable,
Matt13:35 to fulfill what the prophet spoke, saying,
“I shall open My mouth with a parable; I utter riddles from ancient times.”
Matt 24:19 “Woe to those who are pregnant
and to those who are nursing children in those days!”
Lam4:4 The tongue of the infant cleaves to the roof of its mouth because of thirst;
the little ones ask for bread, but no one breaks it for them.
The condition of the babies held in the womb (getting its nourishment) and nursing infants feeding on milk and growing children asking for bread is a picture of being overrun with a famine of the Word of Yahuah.
Amos 8:10 Then I shall turn your festivals into mourning and all your songs
into lamentation; and I shall bring sackcloth on all loins and baldness on every head.
And I shall make it like the mourning for an only one, and the end of it like a bitter day.
Amos 8:11 Behold, days are coming, declares Adonay Yahuah,
that I shall send a famine on the land, not a famine for bread nor a thirst for water,
but rather for hearing the words of Yahuah.
Amos 8:12 And they shall wander from sea to sea and from the north even to the east;
they shall roam about to seek the word of Yahuah, but they shall not find it.
The womb holds the baby where the baby receives the nourishment being in the blood and water of the womb, but woe to those having a baby in the womb and those who are nursing babies in those days. Babies have no knowledge of good and evil, they do not discern between right and wrong and those instructing them have to teach them the basic elementary and foundational principles of morality and bring up the children in the nourishment and admonishment of who Yahusha is. There would be woe to those who are saying they are part of mother Yerushalam (an assembly i.e. a corporate body) if she holds these nursing babies in her because her salvation would be in childbearing and this childbearing is of Mashiyach likeness which she is not able to attain. 1Ti 2:14 And Aḏam was not deceived, but the woman, having been deceived, fell into transgression.
1Ti 2:15 But she shall be saved in childbearing if they continue in belief, and love, and set-apartness, with sensibleness.
If the woman herself would be in deception, how would she admonish her babies in the way of Yahusha.
Heb 5:11 concerning whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.
Heb 5:12 For indeed, although by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first elements of the Words of Elohim. And you have become such as need milk and not solid food.
Heb 5:13 For everyone partaking of milk is inexperienced in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.
Heb 5:14 But solid food is for the mature whose senses have been trained by practice to discern both good and evil.
If you are looking for a supernatural experience in an assembly, you are mistaken as there will not be a revival but a falling away.
2Th2:3 Let no man in any way deceive you, for it shall not come unless the falling away
is to come first, and the man of lawlessness is to be revealed, the son of destruction,
Matt24:20 “But pray that your flight shall not be in the harvest, or in the Shabbat.”
Matt24:21 “For then there shall be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall.”
Yahusha warned to pray that his peoples flight (fleeing) be not in the harvest or in the Shabbat or else there would be a great tribulation such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall be.
H2779 Choreph means winter/autumn/harvest. H2779 properly the crop gathered, that is, (by implication) the autumn (and winter) season; figuratively ripeness of age: - cold, winter ([-house]), youth.
The same word is CHARAPH חרף -H2778 means to pull off, that is, (by implication) to expose (as by stripping); specifically, to betroth (as if a surrender); figuratively to carp at, that is, defame; denominatively (from H2779) to spend the winter: - betroth, blaspheme, defy, jeopard, rail, reproach, upbraid.
Yahusha says to pray that this flight from the Abomination of desolation be not in a time when Yahudah is in a season of transition during harvest time, a time for blasphemy/Reproach (H2788 & H2781 (charpah חֶרְפָּה: reproach)). Turning to Mashiyach we are in a journey of transition from the fleshly ordinances to a realization of spiritual fulfillment in Mashiyach and Yahusha says to pray that this doesn’t happen during the winter/harvest or else there will be great affliction as has never been before. Unless these days would have been shortened there would be no flesh who would have been saved but for the elect sake Yahuah shortened these days. Matt 24:20 says Ba Shabbat, but they translated it as ‘ON THE SABBATH DAY’ but instead it should be ‘IN the SHABBAT’
1Co 5:7 Therefore cleanse out the old leaven, so that you are a new lump, as you are unleavened. For also Messiah our Pěsaḥ was slaughtered for us.
1Co 5:8 So then let us celebrate the festival, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of evil and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
And, Mashiyach at Pesach said that He will not eat bread or drink the fruit of the vine again until the kingdom of Ha Shamayim comes. He was pointing us to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb!
Rom 8:19 For the intense longing of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of Elohim.
The true sons of Alahym will be revealed in the separation and only the Signs of Times discerned from Torah will tell us when this separation takes place.
The ten maidens took their lamps/nar and went to meet the bridegroom. The Hebrew word for maiden is 'almah עלמה ' H5959 which has the root word 'alam' which means 'hidden/conceal/secret thing' H5956
'alam עלם ' H5956 A primitive root; to veil from sight, that is, conceal (literally or figuratively): - X any ways, blind, dissembler, hide (self), secret (thing).
And the same word 'alam עלם' H5957 means ancient/of old/everlasting/remote time (Chaldee); corresponding to H5769; remote time, that is, the future or past indefinitely; often adverbially forever: - for([n-]) ever (lasting), old.
The number ten is a complete number (ten virgins) and five is number for Torah (five books of the Torah) which has both the blessings and the curses, blessings to those who discern the Torah of life and their five senses renewed to discern spiritual things while the fleshly don't have the ability to discern their five senses and are occupied in the fleshly appeasements. The five senses are seeing, hearing, smelling, taste and touch. Hence Torah is also the number for grace/chan.
The ten almah/of old (alam) hidden (alam) takes us back to a past time where the night was watched with a lamp/naur.
Num 8:1 And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,
Num 8:2 “Speak to Aharon, and say to him, ‘When you set up the alaph tau lamps/nar H5216, let the seven lamps/nar H5216 give light in front of the lampstand.’
Num 8:3 And Aharon did so. He set up the lamps/nar H5216 to face toward the front of the lampstand, as יהוה commanded Mosheh.
Remember, the 7 lamps before the throne where the Lamb is in the midst are the 7 Ruachoth/Spirts of Alahym which He possesses. He was seen by Yahuchanan among the 7 golden lampstands.
Rev4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices.
And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne,
and they are the seven Spirits of the Elohim;
Rev3:1 “And to the messenger of the assembly in Sardis write,
These things say he who has the seven Spirits of the Elohim and the seven stars,
I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.
Rev5:6 And I saw, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures,
and in the midst of the elders stood a Lamb as if it had been slain, having seven horns
and seven eyes, in which they are the seven Spirits of the Elohim, sent out into all the earth.
Rev7:17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shall shepherd them and shall lead them to the fountains of the living waters.
And Elohim shall wipe all tears from their eyes.
Matt24:28 “For where there is a corpse, there the vultures shall gather.”
The dead corpse is the assembly run over by the false basharah's of ha shatan as he is given this over for the little season. This won't make sense unless you understand why ha shatan disputed the 'body of Moses' with MiyakEl the archangel. Those departed from Christianity form an assembly to have in them wheat and tares, wise and foolish virgins, fowls nesting in the branches, leaven in the 3 measures of meal, bad fish among the good ones and it is the harvest time where we are seeing the separation. What is left behind in a portion is a 'dead body or corpse' and you cannot be in a dead corpse wanting to experience supernatural experience.
Rev19:17 And I saw one messenger standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice,
saying to all the winged birds which fly in the midst of the heavens,
Come, assemble for the great supper which is of Elohim,
Rev19:18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of captains of commanders
and the flesh of mighty men and the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them
and the flesh of all men, both free men and servants, and small and great.
Matt 24:29 “But immediately after the distress of those days, the sun shall turn dark,
and the moon shall not shine its light; and the stars shall fall from the heavens,
and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.”
The sign of the sun, moon stars:
Psa 19:4 Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He set up a tent for the sun,
Psa 19:5 And in it the sun is like a bridegroom coming out of his man/kind of H4480 room, It rejoices like a strong man to run the path.
Psa 19:6 Its rising is from one end of the heavens, and its circuit to the other end; And naught is hidden from its heat.
The sun here is likened to a bridegroom coming out of a ‘kind of/ Hebrew: man H4480’ of his room and running it's course
Mal 4:1 “For look, the day shall come, burning like a furnace, and all the proud, and every wrongdoer shall be stubble. And the day that shall come shall burn them up,” said יהוה of hosts, “which leaves to them neither root nor branch.
Mal 4:2 “But to you who fear My Name the Sun/shamash H8121 of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings. And you shall go out and be scattered/push H6335 like calves/agalay H5695 from the stall.
The 'signs/aut' H226 were related to the firmament and show us while the physical sun is darkened and strikes those occupied in carnal observance in opposition as Torah states, our bridegroom who is like the SUN will rise with healing in his wings on us.
Rev 6:12 And I looked when He opened the sixth seal and saw a great earthquake came to be. And the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.
The sun/shamash H8121 is likened to Yahusha the bridegroom coming out of his chamber/room as a strong man rejoicing to run the path of a CIRCLE with nothing hidden from its path scorching all those outside the covenant with burning like a furnace, burning all the proud and the wrong doer as a stubble. Verse 2 of Mal 4 says ''....And you shall go out and be scattered like calves/agal H5695 and this same word agal H5696 means 'circular/round' shows the elect of Yahusha being scattered on the circle of the earth whom he gathers under his wings by healing them.
Rev 16:8 And the fourth messenger poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given to him to burn men with fire.
Rev 16:9 And men were burned with great heat, and they blasphemed the Name of Alahym who possesses authority over these plagues. And they did not repent, to give Him esteem.
Those outside the covenant will be scorched with severe heat turning them to stubble as Malachi 4:1 says while the elect will be covered by the shamash/sun of righteousness with healing in his wings even though they are scattered.
When measuring time, the moon was designated to rule only with the stars by night, meaning that when the moon begins to rule rising when the sun has just set, marking the commencement of night. The moon is the lesser light spoken of in Genesis 1:14-18, we find it was created and ordained for the purpose of projecting its full LIGHT on the night it ruled, which can only be realized in a FULL MOON and is designated spiritually to prophecy which shines in a dark place until the day dawns and the morning star rises in our hearts. The bright and morning star is Yahusha ha Mashiyach.
2Pe 1:19 And we have the prophetic word made more certain, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts,
The whore tells us when the good man of the house is coming:
Proverbs 7:19 “For my husband is not at home; He has gone on a long journey; 20 “He took a bag of silver with him; He comes home on the day of the Full moon /kasah כסה H3677.
Kasah כסה H3677 also means 'covering'. H3680 כסה A primitive root; to grow fat (that is, be covered with flesh): - be covered. H3678 כסה From H3680; properly covered, that is, a throne (as canopied): - seat, stool, throne.
Psa 81:3 Blow a shophar in the New moon, in the covering/kasah כסה H3677 for the day of our festival.
The whore is fleshly Yasharal and as we can see from H3680 is she full of fat flesh. They are like Hagar the Egyptian in bondage with her children. While she pinpoints the time of her husband’s coming i.e. at Full Moon to cover her, she herself has gone into whoredoms of a black sun and blood moon shadows. Once these facts are realized it can be understood why the urgent call goes forth in Revelation for Yahusha’s obedient followers to “come out of Babylon.” The call is not to come out to form another assembly, but there is a waiting period.
In the imagery of the transference of altars we see the souls who were killed (not literally but testimony killed) because of the Word of Alahym and because of their testimony who were asking for vengeance and to them were given white robe and were asked to rest for a little.
Rev 6:9 And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls
of those who had been slain because of the Word of the Elohim,
and because of the testimony which was in their mouths.
Rev 6:10 and they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O my Adon, holy and true,
shall You not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?
Rev 6:11 And there was given to every one of them a white robe, and it was said unto them
that they should rest yet for a little season (Greek: chronos G5550), until the number of their fellow servants
and their brothers, who ended up that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
Rev 6:12 And I looked when He opened the sixth seal, behold,
there was a great earthquake. And the sun became black as sackcloth of hair,
and the whole moon became like blood;
Rev 6:13 and the stars of the heavens fell to the earth,
as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when it is shaken by a great wind.
Rev 6:14 And the heavens separated as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
Rev20:2 And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old,
that he is the devil and he is the shatan, and he tied him (Hebrew: asar אסר H631 Greek G1210 edesen from deo: to tie/bind) a thousand years,
Rev 20:3 and he threw him into the abyss, and shut him up and sealed it over him,
so that he would not deceive the nations any longer while (Greek :achri G891) the thousand years
should be finished. After that, he is loosened (luo G3089) for a little season (Greek: chronos G5550).
Rev20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given in their hands.
And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of
Yahusha and because of the Word of the Elohim, and those who had not bowed down
to the beast and to his image and had not received the mark on their forehead
and on their hand; and they lived and reigned with the Mashiyach for a thousand years.
Ha Shatan was tied to a thousand-year confinement which is a shortfall of the life entering eternity, a place allowed for him in the Corporate assembly. Ha shatan is tied to keep people in the carnal letter so that they do not cross over to the Ruach of Life. The little season is synonymous with the souls under the altar (elect figurative of switching the altar to spiritual) who were told to rest for the little season. The Greek word for little season 'chronos' is the same word used when the elect are comforted to rest for this 'little season' while ha shatan is , we already saw the rest is in the wilderness for time, times & dividing of time/1260 days/42 months/3.5 years away from the face of the dragon.
When the dragon was cast out of the heavenly pattern (the new creation order) as he has no place in it, he persecutes Covenant Yasharal.
The Day of Yahuah:
Remember Yahuchanan was caught up in the Ruach in the Day of Yahuah!.
Rev1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Adon’s day,
and I heard behind me a great voice as the sound of a trumpet,
The Day of Yahuah is a synonym used for 'a latter time summing up to the end'. It's like a man who was careful and vigilant and fled the lion (the symbol for Babylon) and fled the bear (the symbol for Medes-Persia) and went into the house and leaned his hand against the wall (found the assembly as a safe haven) and a serpent bites him.
Amos 5:18 Woe to those desiring the day of Yahuah!
To what end is it to you? The day of Yahuah shall be darkness and not light.
Amos 5:19 As if a man flees from before a lion and a bear meets him,
or went into the house, and leans his hand against the wall and a snake bites him.
It's a picture of one able to flee the Babylonian captivity and the Medes-Persia captivity but he won't be able to flee the carcass as he will be killed by the poison in it.
The fig tree in leaf sign:
Many people interpret the fig tree in leaf to mean Israel was formed as a nation again in 1948. This is a carnal stance because the fig tree has to do with tree of knowledge of good and evil. We see Adam and Eve clothing their nakedness with the fig leaves.
Matt 24:32 “And from the fig tree learn this parable: When its branch is lush
and its leaves sprout, you know that the summer is near.”
Matt24:33 “So you, too, when you see all these things,
know that He is close, at the entrance.”
Gen 3:7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked;
and they sewed leaves of fig-tree together and made for themselves loin coverings.
Rev 6:13 and the stars of the heavens fell to the earth,
as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when it is shaken by a great wind.
The stars of the heavens falling to earth as unripe figs falling is symbolic of sons associated with the kingdom of heaven. They have fallen to the EARTH i.e. Carnality. Covenant Yasharal is denoted by the Olive tree (Romans 11).
Gen 8:11 The dove came to him toward evening, and behold, in her beak was a freshly picked olive leaf. So Noach knew that the water was abated from the earth.
Zec 4:12 And I answered the second time and said to him, what are the two olive branches which are beside the two golden pipes, which empty the golden oil from themselves?
Zec 4:13 So he spoke to me, saying, do you not know what these are? And I said, no, my master.
Zec 4:14 Then he said, these are the two anointed sons who are standing by the Adon of the whole earth.
The two olive branches are the two houses of Yasharal, Ephraim representing the 10 tribes as Yasharal and Yahudah representing the 2 tribes, themselves and Binyamin.
Hence, the fig tree in leaf is a sign of 'second death' as Yahuah told Adam and Eve that if they eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, dying you shall die.
Gen2:17 but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat from it,
for in the day that you eat from it dying/ muth מות you shall die/tamuth תמות
Yahusha likens the days to days of Noach, when only 8 souls were saved from the entire world.
Matt24:37 “And like in the days of Noach, so also shall the coming of the Son of Adam be.
Matt24:38 “For just as before the days of the flood they were eating
and drinking, marrying women and giving women to men,
until the day when Noach entered into the ark,
Matt24:39 “and they did not understand until the coming of the flood,
and it wiped them all out, likewise shall also the coming of the Son of Adam be.”
Matt24:40 “Then there shall be two men in the field,
and one shall be gathered, and one shall be left.”
Matt24:41 “Two women shall be grinding at the mills,
and one shall be gathered, and one shall be left.”
In the parallel passage in Luke the disciples ask him "where shall this be? Yahusha says "Where the carcass is, there the eagles shall be gathered."
Luke17:35 “Two women shall be milling together;
one shall be gathered and the other shall be left.”
Luke17:36 [“Two shall be in the field,
and one shall be gathered and the other shall be left.”]
Luke17:37 They answered and said to Him, where shall this be, Our Adon (Master)?
And He said to them, “Where the carcass is, there the eagles shall be gather".
It's all about the carcass/dead body where the eagles who are birds of prey gather. It's the same eagle's wings which saves Covenant Yasharal to flee the Carcass. We saw in Rev 12 the woman was given wings of a great eagle to flee into the wilderness where she is nourished. Eagles are picture of false prophets.
Rev 18:21 And one mighty messenger picked up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “With such a rush the great city Baḇel shall be thrown down, and shall not be found any more at all.
Rev 18:22 “And the sound of harpists, and musicians, and flautists, and trumpeters shall not be heard in you any more at all. And no craftsman of any trade shall be found in you any more at all. And the sound of a millstone shall not be heard in you any more at all.
The 2 women grinding the millstone together is a picture of grinding the manna to make cakes of it, but the one left will be in the dead carcass with birds of prey hovering over and part of Mystery Babylon.
Num 11:7 Now the manna was like coriander seed, and its appearance like the appearance of bdellium.
Num 11:8 The people went about and gathered it, ground it on millstones or beat it in the mortar, and cooked it in a pot, and made cakes of it. And its taste was as the taste of cakes baked with oil.
Deut 24:6 “Do not take a pair of millstones—not even the upper one—as security for a debt, because that would be taking a person’s livelihood as security”
A hand mill and its upper grindstone represented a person’s means of life. Seizing either of these would deprive the entire family of its daily supply of bread. A hand mill consisted of two stone slabs: an upper millstone and a lower stone. It was used for grinding grain between the two stones to make flour, with which to bake bread. The grain was normally placed upon the bottom stone, and the grinder moved the upper stone back and forth over the fixed horizontal stone. Grinding grain for bread was essential because it was a source of the man’s daily food and also his livelihood. Thus, to take and hold a man’s hand mill or even an upper millstone as a pledge (or collateral) against the payment of a debt would be to deprive his family of the means of making flour for bread. To do so would be taking a life in pledge. The stones were heavy and required more than one person to grind. The one gathered is the elect and the woman left behind unable to grind is bound by her pledge to eat carnal bread and that's where the dead carcass is, the assembly given over to ha shatan.
Summary:
We need to be discerning to understand what is happening in the times we live in. Matthew 24 & 25 is the Olivet discourse letting us know 'latter course summing up to the end'. The signs we need to look at and discern and wait for the little season looking towards the coming of the Adon Yahusha our Alahym and we are nourished away from the face of the serpent for time, times & dividing of time/1260 days/42 months/3.5 years which is a symbolic time frame for the judgement to be meted out to the corporate body which is become the whore Mystery Babylon, the Mother of all Harlots! There is a war of breads going on in the Corporate body and the various parables show us how ha shatan slowly crept in the assembly to bring in his tares and this is the time when the wheat and the tares are being separated. We need to look up for our redemption draws near.
