We have so many camps and denominations all tied up to a mindset from which comes a behavior, either Torah legalist bound to Judasim or Torahless with no boundaries termed as the Greco Roman mindset or a Crossed over Hebrew who by the definition of Hebrew/Abary which means ‘One who has crossed over’. i.e. a Covenant Hebrew mindset.
This video will enable
us to identify our behavior to the category we fall into. For after all Yahusha
said “If you love me obey my commandments” and He summarized the ten words into
two i.e. 1. To Love Yahuah Alahym (which is Himself as He says unless you love
Me more than your father, mother, brother or sister, you are not fit to be My
disciple), with all your heart, mind, soul and strength and 2. Love your
neighbour as yourself. I call these as Sapphire commandments as they are the
pathway to Yahusha as Moses, Aharon & his 2 sons and 70 elders of Yasharal
saw under His feet a pavement work of sapphire. Exo 24:10
Exo 24:10 and they saw the Elohim of Yisra’ěl, and under His feet like a paved work of
sapphire stone, and like the heavens for purification.
If one fulfill the royal laws
show a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9) behavior.
Deu 33:2 And he said, “יהוה came
from Sinai, and rose from Sě‛ir for them. He
shone forth from Mount Paran, and came with ten thousands of set-apart ones –
at His right hand a FIERY LAW/ESHDATH אשדתfor
them.
ESH אש H784:
FIRE & Dath דת H1881: DECREE/LAW
Moses before his death prophesied
of the One to come. The text identifies Him as Yahuah coming from Sinai, rising
from Seir and shining from Mount Paran.
Hab 3:3 Aluah
comes from Těman, And the Set-apart One from Mount Paran. Selah. His splendour
shall cover the heavens, And His praise shall fill the earth.
Hab 3:4 His
radiance is as the light, He has horns/rays/power from His hand, and in name is
His strength hidden.
The power, horns/qeren
קרנ is in His hand (the nail print) and strength/oz
עוז hidden in His name.
The horns or
power is plural whereas the hand is singular, the attention is on His Right
Hand and this can be seen when we see the unfolding of the first born.
If you notice
Habakkuk 3:3 says Aluah comes from Teman (in Edom) and the Set Apart One from
Mount Paran
And Moshe/Moses
in his final blessing names two places Seir (in Edom) and Mount Paran. He says
Yahuah rose/zarach (which also means dawn) from Seir unto them. Them who?
Yasharal.
Moses also says
He shone forth /yapa from Mount Paran and He came with ten thousand of Qodesh
ones and from His right hand went a fiery law for them.
Seir and Teman
are in Edom where Esau, the firstborn son of Yitshaq dwelt.
Paran is where
Yishmael the first-born son of Hagar and Abraham dwelt.
Both these firstborns lost their birthright and stand for carnal
Yerushalayim in bondage with her children, the Judaism system and their
legalist Torah of sin and death, a pattern forsaken, a pattern which doesn’t
point to Yahusha.
Gen 25:27 And the boys grew up. And Ěsaw
became a man knowing how to hunt,
a man of the field, while Ya‛aqoḇ was a complete man, dwelling in tents.
Gen 21:20 And Elohim
was with the boy (Yishmael), and he grew
and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.
Gen 21:21 And he dwelt in the Wilderness of Paran, and his mother took
a wife for him from the land of Mitsrayim.
Both these firstborns were hunters and their pattern was their belly
and this we can see by Esau selling his birthright to Yaaqob for morsel of
food. With Ishmael we see him mocking Yitshaq.
Gen 21:8
And the child grew and was weaned, and Aḇraham made a
great feast on the day that Yitsḥaq was weaned.
Gen 21:9 And Sarah saw the son of Haḡar
the Mitsrian, whom she had borne to Aḇraham, mocking/tsachaq צחק.
tsachaq צחק H6711 comes from ‘gach גח’
ie. The belly.
Yishmael
was the son of Hagar the Egyptian & we understand from the account of
Yoseph that the Egyptians could not eat food with the Hebrews for it was an
abomination to them & we further understand that ‘shepherds’ were
abomination to the Egyptians. Hence, this mocking was related to eating and it
should be rightly translated as ‘sport’ as the actual word there is matschaq מצחק
which
means by implication to sport: - laugh, mock, play, make sport. Strong's
doesn't list the word 'matschaq' but just 'tschaq' and the definitions above
are above for this word צָחַק/tschaq . There are lot of variations to this word, let's see a
few of them
Yatschaq: laughed
Gen 17:17 Then Abraham fell on his face
and laughed/yatschaq יצחק, and said in his heart,
Shall a child be born to a man one hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is a
daughter of ninety years old, bear a child?
Tatschaq: laughed
Gen 18:12 Sarah laughed/tatschaq תצחקto herself, saying, After I
have become old, shall I have pleasure, my master being old also?
tschaq: laugh
Gen 18:13 And Yahuah said to Abraham, Why at
this did Sarah laugh/tschaq צחק, saying, Shall I
indeed truly bear, even when I am so old?
matschaq/latshaq...to play sport (sexual
pleasure or fornication in idolatory)
Gen 19:14 Lot went out and spoke to his
sons-in-law, those taking his daughters, and said, Get up, get out of this
place, for Yahuah shall destroy the city. But he appeared as one that sported/matschaq
מצחק in the eyes of his sons-in-law.
This word
'matschaq מצחק ' is used when immorality is mentioned. Lot's son in laws were
immoral and thought Lot was like one of them who was sexually immoral but Lot
was set-apart and righteous.
Gen 21:9 Now Sarah saw the son of Hagar the
Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, mocking/ matschaq מצחק.
Since we have yet to expose Gen 21:9 in the
light of the usage of the word 'matschaq/latschaq' let’s move on and come back
to touch base this passage after we have seen the usage of this word in other
passages.
Ex 32:6 So they rose early on the morrow and
offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down
to eat and to drink, and rose up to play/latschaq לצחק.
The
Yasharali's offered burnt offering and peace offerings to the golden calf and
ROSE UP TO PLAY (latskhaq) indicating fornication through idolatry.
Gen 39:14 she called to the men of her house and
said to them, saying, See, he has brought in a Hebrew man to us to make
sport of me/latschaq לציק; he came in to me
to lie with me, and I cried with a great voice.
Gen 39:17 Then she spoke to him with these
words, saying, The Hebrew servant, whom you brought to us, came in to me to
make sport of me/ latschaq לציק;
The above verses are an accusation from
Potiphar's wife towards Yoseph who was innocent and who ran away from her as
she was the one who wanted to lie down with him in adultery. The same word is
used showing a sexual sin.
Jud 16:25 It came to pass, when their hearts
were merry, that they said, Call for Samson, that he shall sport /yashchaq ישחק for us. So they called for Samson from the prison
house, and he sported / yatschaq יצחק before them. And they made him stand between the
pillars.
Whatever this sport was before the Philistines
it was definitely to humble Samson after all his eyes were put out and he had
lost all his strength. The scriptures are not clear what kind of sport they
made him do to entertain themselves but it was an act humiliating him. Moreover
there are two different words used in the same passage above which are
translated as 'sport' ...one is yashchaq ישחק which means to
'scorn/mock/laugh' and the other word is what we saw Abraham do
before Yahuah, he laughed, Abraham in belief laughed (yatschaq) and we also saw Sarah in unbelief laughed (tatschaq)
The verse should correctly be translated as Jud
16:25 It came to pass, when their hearts were merry, that they said, Call for
Samson, there is law /yashchaq ישחק for us (Yash יש in Hebrew means ‘there is’ and chaq חק in Hebrew means ‘law’). So they called for Samson from the prison
house, and he was being laughed/yatschaq יצחק by them. And they made him stand between the
pillars.
The
other usage of the words with the mem and the lamed before the 'tschaq צחק' are used in
context of sexual sin or idolatry which is a sin equivalent to fornication.
Shaul reveals what Yishmael's matschaq מצחק/sporting meant. Yishmael pursued
Yitshaq into fleshly idolatorus things which Paul says ...''so it is now also''
Gal 4:29. This shows pursuing fleshly things is fornication just like the
children of Yasharal rose up to play/matskhaq and is equaled to sexual sin.
Gal 4:29 But as then he who was born according
to the flesh pursued him who was born according to the Spirit, so it is
now also.
1Co 10:7 And do not become idolaters as
some of them, as it has been written, “The people sat down to eat and to drink,
and stood up to play/latschaq לצחק (remember we
saw the usage of this word when Yasharal played the harlot with the golden
calf).”
1Co 10:8 Neither should we commit whoring, as
some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell,
1Cor 7:2 But because of fornication, let every
man have his own wife, and each woman is to have her own husband.
Coming back to the Egyptians:
Gen 43:32 And they set him a place by himself, and them by themselves,
and the Mitsrites who ate with him by themselves, for the Mitsrites could not
eat food with the Hebrews, for that is an abomination to the Mitsrites.
Gen 46:33 “And
it shall be, when Pharaoh calls you and says, ‘What is your occupation?’
Gen 46:34 that you shall say, ‘Your
servants have been men of livestock from our youth even till now, both we and
also our fathers,’ so that you dwell in the land of Goshen, for every
shepherd is an abomination to the Mitsrites.”
We further decode from the
scriptures when Pharaoh later told them to sacrifice to Yahuah in Egypt and
Moses said “It is not right to do so, for we would be slaughtering the
abomination of Egypt to Yahuah our Alahym” and the Egyptians would stone them.
Exo 8:25 Pharaoh then called for Mosheh and Aharon, and said, “Go, slaughter to your Elohim in the land.”
Exo 8:26 And Mosheh said, “It
is not right to do so, for we would be slaughtering the abomination of the
Mitsrites to יהוה our Elohim. See, if we
slaughter the abomination of the Mitsrites before their eyes, would they not
stone us?
Hence, it had to do with a worship & sacrificial system for which
the Egyptians loathed Yasharal & now we know why Yishmael mocked Yitshaq.
The two worship systems couldn’t be under one Tent and hence, Sarah said which
is recorded in Gen 21:10 So she said to Aḇraham,
“Drive out this female servant and her son, for the son of this female servant
shall not inherit with my son, with Yitsḥaq.”
While Genesis records
Yasharal being shepherds is an abomination to Egyptians it was also vice -versa
as we see Moses saying they don’t want to be sacrificing the abominations of
the Egyptians to Yahuah.
Shaul the apostle decodes the
mystery when he further breaks down the bondwoman and her son to mean carnal
Yasharal in bondage with their children vs Covenant Yasharal the seed of freedom
who is born from above.
Gal 4:29
But, as he who was born according to the flesh then
persecuted him born according to the Spirit, so also now.
Gal 4:30 But what
does the Scripture say? “Cast out the
female servant and her son, for the son of the female servant shall by no means
be heir with the son of the free woman.”
Gen_21:10.
Gal 4:31 Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the female servant
but of the free woman.
To understand this, the present carnal Yerushalayim lost their essence
of spiritual worship and were occupied in a system related to food and drinks
only i.e. the belly leading to fornication.
Heb 9:8 the
Set-apart Spirit signifying this, that the way into the Most Set-apart Place
was not yet made manifest while the first Tent has a standing,
Heb 9:9
which was a parable for the present time in which both gifts and slaughters are
offered which are unable to perfect the one serving, as to his
conscience,
Heb 9:10 only as to foods and drinks, and different washings, and
fleshly regulations imposed until a time of setting matters
straight.
Ge
9:27 Alahym shall enlarge Yapheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and
Canaan shall be his servant.
Children of Shem: Ge 10:22 The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and
Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
Sons of Yapeth:
Ge 10:2 The sons of Yapheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Yawan, and Tubal,
and Meshech, and Tiras.
3 And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and
Riphath, and Togarmah.
4 And the sons of Yawan; Elishah, and
Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5 By these were the isles of the
Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their
families, in their nations.
The
Gentiles spoken of coming back into the Tents of Shem were the sons of Shem
dispersed into nations Yapeth’s sons were scattered to forming the nations who
forgot Alahym. Noach prophesied “Alahym shall enlarge Yapeth and he shall dwell
in the tents of Shem’’. These were the Gentile Jews/Yahudi’s who came back into
the fold as converts into Judaism and further transitioned into Messiah Yahusha
as seen on the day of Pentecost/Shavout. Being among the pagan gentiles
(uncovenanted) they behaved like the pagans just as Yasharal picked up the
customs of the pagan gentiles by eating swine’s, rats’ flesh while they also
sacrificed to Yahuah. Yahuah says He would bring them all back in a CLEAN
VESSEL & will take them as priests in place of Levites. Compare some of the
nations mentioned in Isaiah 66 are Yapeth’s seed.
Isa 65:4 Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments,
which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their
vessels;
Isa 66:17
those who set themselves apart and cleanse themselves at the gardens after ‘one’
in the midst, eating flesh of
pigs and the abomination and the mouse, are snatched away, together,”
declares יהוה.
Isa 66:18 “And
I, because of their works and their imaginations, am coming to gather all
nations and tongues. And they shall come and see My esteem.
Isa 66:19 “And
I shall set a sign among them, and shall send some of those who escape to the
nations – Tarshish and Pul and Luḏ, who draw the bow, and Tuḇal and Yawan,
the coastlands afar off who have not heard My report nor seen My esteem. And
they shall declare My esteem among the gentiles.
Isa 66:20 “And
they shall bring all your brothers as an offering to יהוה out of
all the nations, on horses and in chariots and in litters, on mules and on
camels, to My set-apart mountain Yerushalayim,” declares יהוה, “as
the children of Yisra’ěl bring an offering in a clean vessel into the House of יהוה.
Isa 66:21 “And from them too
I shall take for priests – for Lěwites,” declares יהוה.
Hence, we see the transition from the Greco Roman mindset to the
Juadism Torah bound legalistic mindset to the Crossed over Hebrew mindset
coming to Yahusha of whom Moses said would come Sinai, and rose from Sě‛ir for them. He shone forth from Mount Paran, and
came with ten thousands of set-apart ones – at His right hand a FIERY
LAW/ESHDATH אשדתfor them.
Hab 3:3 Eloah comes from Těman,
And the Set-apart One from Mount Paran. Selah. His splendour shall cover the
heavens, And His praise shall fill the earth. ‘SELAH’ סלה
Habakkuk mentions
singular Aluah coming from Teman and Mount Paran and uses the word ‘SELAH’ סלה
SELAH is used in
Psalms and is a musical term possibly a lifting of the sound. A change of note
in simple terms with a pause.
Apart from Psalms,
Habakkuk is the only place this term is used. Why is it used?
Yahuah in
prophecy is letting us know He is going to change roles and that He is the same
Aluah. He gives us a clue to identify Himץ He says
horns/power is in His hand and the strength is in His name.
If you look up
the Hebrew word ‘sham’ which means ‘name’ is not translated as name but
translated as ‘there’ as saying ‘there is His strength’
Hab 3:4 And the
brightness is as the light, He has rays from His hand, And there/H8033 שמ His power is hidden.
Same word H8034
is translated as 'name' שמ
Habakkuk doesn’t
mention which hand, but we know it’s His right hand when we compare with
Masha’s prophecy as it says from His right hand went a fiery law for them.
Isa 19:18 ¶ In that
day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and
swear to Yahuah of hosts; one shall be called, The city of
destruction.
19 In that day shall there be an altar to
Yahuah in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to
Yahuah.
20 And it shall be for
a sign and for a witness unto Yahuah of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they
shall cry unto Yahuah because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a
saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.
21 And Yahuah shall be known to Egypt, and the
Egyptians shall know Yahuah in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation;
yea, they shall vow a vow unto Yahuah, and perform it.
22 And Yahuah shall smite Egypt: he shall
smite and heal it: and they shall return even to Yahuah, and he shall be
intreated of them, and shall heal them.
23 In that day shall there be a highway
out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the
Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.
When we compare who Egypt is
we find this scripture:
Re 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which
spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Yahusha
was impaled.
Isaiah 19: 18-25 doesn't
mean that the nations of Egypt and Assyria would turn to Yahuah as a nation but
speaks of his people who were turned astray to the customs of Egypt and Assyria
coming back to him.
Isa 19:25 Whom Yahuah of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my
people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and
Israel mine inheritance.
We must understand that Yasharal was in captivity both in Egypt and Assyria and
they brought with them the false worship style of these nations rather than
obeying the pattern given. When they came out of Egypt and Assyria, they
carried their language and rose up and played the harlot by renaming Yahuah to
the Egyptian gods. Rose up and play/sporting shows ‘Lawlessness’ i.e. The Greco
Roman mindset.
Moses tells Pharaoh, they
cannot sacrifice the abomination of Egypt to Yahuah:
The sheep and cattle of
Egypt is called as abomination of Egypt which came written later in Torah
letting them know why Yahuah drove out the Kennanites from the land.
Lev 18:23 ‘And do not have intercourse with
any beast, to defile yourself with it. And a woman does not stand before a
beast to mate with it, it is a perversion.
Lev 18:24 ‘Do not defile yourselves with all
these, for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am driving out before
you.
Lev 18:25 ‘Thus the land became defiled,
therefore I punished it for its crookedness, and the land vomited out its
inhabitants.
The land had become defiled men and women
having sex with animals, animals of their lands abused etc. which is why Yahuah
wouldn’t spare even the animals of the land and reprimanded king Shaul as he
kept the best of the sheep and cattle of the land to sacrifice to Yahuah.
Shaul spared Agag the king of Amalek and the
best of the sheep and cattle which he later tells Shemuel that he kept them to
slaughter to Yahuah.
1Sa 15:14 But Shemu’ěl said, “What then is
this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the cattle which I
hear?”
1Sa 15:15 And Sha’ul said, “They have brought
them from Amalěq, because the people spared the best of the sheep and the
cattle, to slaughter to יהוה your Elohim. And the
rest we have put under the ban.”
The sheep, cattle were to be killed with all
the people because we read in Leviticus 18:21-25 that these nations defiled their
animals by having sexual intercourse with even the animals, they abused the
animals. Here was king Shaul with his intention to slaughter these sexually
abused animals to Yahuah as slaughter offerings. That is how grave his sin was.
So, whenever a command came to not spare men,
women, infants, animals it was because of these grave sins the nations had
committed.
When Yasharal was carried captive away by
king of Ashshur and resettled in their lands, he brought people from Babel and
Assyrian nations and because they didn’t know the law of the land Yahuah sent
lions to kill them & later a Levite priest is sent to them to teach them
the law of the land i.e. the Shemitah & the agricultural laws & the
shepherding of the sheep related to it.
2Ki 17:24
And the sovereign of Ashshur brought people from Baḇel,
and from Kuthah, and from Awwa, and from Ḥamath, and Sepharwayim, and placed them in the cities of Shomeron instead of the
children of Yisra’ěl. And they took possession of Shomeron and
dwelt in its cities.
2Ki 17:25 And it
came to be, at the beginning of their dwelling there, that they did not fear יהוה,
and יהוה sent lions among them, which were killing among them.
2Ki 17:26
And they spoke to the sovereign of Ashshur, saying, “The nations whom
you have removed and placed in the cities of Shomeron do not know the
right-ruling of the Elohim of the land. And He has sent lions among them, and
see, they are slaying among them because they do not know the right-ruling of
the Elohim of the land.”
2Ki 17:27 And the
sovereign of Ashshur commanded, saying, “Send one of the priests whom you
exiled from there, to go there. Let him go and dwell there, and let him teach
them the right-ruling of the Elohim of the land.”
Men who called on the name
of Yahuah in the days of Seth (Gen 4:26) later were dispersed in confusion of
Babel because they served not Alahym with one consent but rebelled against him.
But here we have Yahuah promising that he will turn to the people a pure
language that they may all call upon his name to serve HIM WITH ONE CONSENT.
Ps 114:1 ¶ When Yasharal went out of Egypt, the house of Yaaqob from a
people of strange language;
2 Yahudah was his sanctuary, and Yasharal
his dominion.
Ps 81:5 This he ordained in Yoseph for a testimony, when he went out
through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.
We read in Isaiah 11:11 that for a second time Yahuah will recover his
remnant from Egypt, Assyria, from Pathros, and from Cush, and
from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
Yahuah will recover his remnant out from a people of strange language, from a
language that Asaph says in his Psalms (81:5) which he understood not. We see
this in spiritual comparison.
Isa11:11 Then it shall happen on that day
that My Adon (Master) shall again recover the second time with His hand the
remnant of His people, who shall remain, from Ashshur, and from Mitsrayim, from
Pathros, and from Kush, and from Eylam, and from Shinar, and from Chamath, and from
the islands of the sea.
Isa11:12 And He shall lift up a standard for
the nations and assemble the banished ones of Yisra’El, and shall gather the
dispersed of Yahudah from the four corners of the earth.
The cross over is seen from a Greco Roman
mindset to the Covenant Hebrew mindset. Some of them had an intermediate cross
over into Judasim from the Greco Roman mindset before they crossed over to the
covenant Hebrew mindset. Abraham is called a Hebrew for the first time as he
crossed over to a Covenant Hebrew mindset.
Gen 14:13 And one who had escaped came and informed Aḇram
the Hebrew, for he dwelt by the terebinth trees of Mamrě the Amorite,
brother of Eshkol and brother of Aněr, and they had a covenant with
Aḇram.
Quoting the royal law Shaul the apostle says we have been called to
freedom and only to be mindful not to use freedom as an occasion for the flesh.
Remember, Yishmael sported Yitshaq, trying to put a stumbling block to him in
trying to draw him to a Greco Roman Egyptian style of worship.
Jas 2:8 If you
truly accomplish the ROYAL law according to
the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbour as yourself,” you do well,
Gal 5:13 For you,
brothers, have been called to freedom, only do not use freedom as an
occasion for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
Gal 5:14 For the
entire Torah is completed in one word, in this, “You shall love
your neighbour as yourself.”
That is why in many places Shaul the apostle
writes about eating, eating food sacrificed to idols, foods for the stomach etc.
and we must read and understand with a Covenant Hebrew mindset and not a Greco
Roman mindset. Remember the Romans was written to the ones who had crossed over
from the Hebrew Torah legalistic mindset to the Covenant Hebrew mindset.
Ro 14:21 It is good neither
to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended,
or is made weak.
To the Corinthian assembly
he writes related to foods relating it to fornication stating the body is not
for fornication but for the Adon and the Adon for the body.
1Cor 6:12 All things are permitted to me, but
not all things are useful. All things are permitted for me, but I shall not be
mastered by anything.
1Cor 6:13 Food is for the stomach and the
stomach is for food, but the Elohim shall destroy both this and them. And
the body is not for fornication, but for the Adon, and the Adon is for the
body.
1Cor 6:15 Do you not know
that your bodies are members of the Mashiyach? Shall I then take away the
members of the Mashiyach and make them members of a prostitute? May it never
be!
Remember Paul is speaking of the BELLY which
lusts for meats which are forbidden which leads to a Greco Roman mindset. He
ties this to being members of a harlot.
1Cor 6:20 For you have
been bought with a price: therefore glorify Alahym in your body. (and in
your spirit, which is in Alahym)
Acts15:29 that you abstain from things
sacrificed to idols and from blood and from bodily strangled and from harlotry.
If you keep yourselves free from these, you shall do well. Peace be upon you.
Many do not understand the instructions given
to the Gentile converts and the Greco Roman mindset leads them to believe
different set of instructions for Jewish legalistic converts to Covenant Hebrew
& different for Gentiles now transitioning to Covenant Hebrew mindset.
Yaaqob/James addresses the issue at hand by handling the dispute of difference
of laws says Moses from ancient generations is read in the synagogues from
Shabbat to Shabbat. Hebrew Legalists misinterpret this to mean to bring
Gentiles under the Torah of sin and death, if James meant this as they teach,
it defeats the entire purpose for which the dispute was raised. The
instructions to Gentiles that they abstain from defilement of idols and from
fornication and eating strangled beasts with blood is the very thing we
discussed-the Esau and Yishmael sporting pattern. Remember, the Torah of sin
and death came as a school master to lead the Hebrew legalistic mindset to the
Covenant Hebrew mindset with Messiah Yahusha being the goal. Moses being read
in synagogues had the Ruach/Spirit in the letter leading one to Messiah for
carnal Yasharal didn’t have access to the book of the Covenant, it was
concealed in the pages of Torah of sin and death which needed an expounding.
Acts 15:19 “Therefore I judge that we should
not trouble those from among the gentiles who are turning to Elohim.”
Acts 15:20 but that we write to them that
they abstain from the defilements of idols and from fornication and from what
is strangled and from blood.
Acts15:21 For Mosheh from ancient generations
has, in every city, those proclaiming him, since being read in the houses of
synagogues from the day of Shabbat to Shabbat.
We saw both Esau and Yishmael were hunters
and their worship pattern involved their belly and a stumbling block of
receiving the first born blessing, and this is what we must be careful about.
14 years of journey in Messiah Yahusha with a
completed transition Shaul the apostle went up to Yerushalayim to confirm with
Peter, James and John of the revelations he received of Messiah and he and
Baranabah were given the right hand of fellowship. (Gal 2:1-10) and then we
have Shaul recording he rebuked Peter
Gal 2:11 And when Kĕpha had come to Antioch, I withstood him to his face,
because he was at fault.
Gal 2:12 For before some came from Yaʽaqoḇ, he was
eating with the gentiles, but when they came, he began to withdraw and separate
himself, in fear of those of the circumcision.
Gal 2:13 And the rest of the Yehuḏim joined him in
hypocrisy, so that even Barnaḇah was led away by their hypocrisy.
Gal 2:14 But when I saw that they are not walking
straight according to the truth of the Good News, I said to Kĕpha before them
all, “If you, being a Yehuḏite, live as a gentile and not as the Yehuḏim,
why do you compel gentiles to live as Yehuḏim?
We see an instance where Paul rebukes Kepha/Peter for not
living uprightly according to the truth of the besorah (gospel) for before some
Yahudi’s came from Yaaqob (James) he was eating with the Gentiles but when they
came he separated himself from them not eating with them for fear of the
Yahudi’s. Paul rebuked him for this attitude, not that Kepha (Peter) adopted the
Greco Roman mindset for Paul himself tells Peter ...“If you, being a
Yehuḏite, live as a gentile and not as the Yehuḏim, why do you compel
gentiles to live as Yehuḏim? which shows Peter taught the Gentiles who
came into the fold to live as the Yahudim and not vice versa. He ate kosher
with even the gentiles, its just that he kept it concealed from the converts
from Judaism that he was mingling with the Gentile converts.
Acts 10 where Kepha saw a vision of a sheet descending from heaven with
all unclean beasts and birds of the earth has been the main stream Christian
argument teaching that now after the stake/cross we can eat anything and live a
Greco Roman lifestyle. Kepha understood through the vision that he was not
being asked to eat unclean meat but that the Gentiles who were like the unclean
beasts were now being cleansed and shouldn’t be called unclean or common.
Of the clean beasts Noach was commanded to take 7 pairs to cope up with
the sacrifices because in sacrifices they would be slaughtered for offerings
and also be eaten for food, whereas the unclean beasts only a pair were to be
taken showing Noach or the fathers never ate of the unclean beasts.
Gen 7:2 “Of all the clean beasts take with you seven
pairs, a male and his female; and of the beasts that are unclean two, a male
and his female;
Noah already knew which animals were clean and unclean
and we see Yahuah giving him instructions to take clean and unclean animals
inside the ark. And post the flood Noach offered clean animal sacrifices to Yahuah.
Gen 8:20 And Noaḥ built an altar to יהוה, and took of every clean beast and of every clean bird, and
offered burnt offerings on the altar.
Was the Torah yet given? No. But yet he knew as it was
taught by father to son.
Isa 66:2 For My hand made all these things, thus all
these things came into being, declares Yahuah. But to this one I shall look, to
him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My dabar But of
the wicked Yahudi he says
Isa 66:3 But he who kills an ox is like one who
slays a man; he who sacrifices a lamb is like the one who breaks a dog’s
neck; he who offers a grain offering is like one who offers swine’s
blood; he who burns incense is like the one who blesses an idol. As they
have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations,
Now wait a minute, isn't ox, lamb, grain offering,
incense as per his dabar? Yes, it is but these Yahudi’s who did dabar also did
abominations by following the Greco Roman lifestyle of worship leading to
fornication.
We Gentiles are engrafted into the same covenant and not
vice versa.
Matt 24:38 “For as in those days before the flood they
were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that
Noah entered the ark,” Matthew 24:39 "And without understanding the
flood and took them away everyone thus shall also the coming of the Son of
Man be.”
Noah was before the Turah of Mosheh was given. Eating and
drinking and marrying and giving in marriage laws were given in Mosheh’s Turah.
But before Turah it was through dabar (word) which came through mouth of
fathers to their children as fathers taught their children the way of Yahuah.
That's how Noah knew what was clean and what was unclean. That's what the
apostles taught when they used the word 'dabar/order' in relation to the meats
which men should eat.
That's how Abraham sent his servant to take a wife for
his son Yitshaq from his brethren and not among pagans
Ge 24:3 And I will make thee swear by Yahuah, the Alahym
of heaven, and the Alahym of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my
son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell: 4 But thou shalt go
unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Yitsaq.
Yaaqob (Jacob) took wife from his mother's brother
Laban’s daughters.
Also, Esau’s ungodly wives were pain to Yitsaq and
Rebecca.
Gen 26:34 And when Ěsaw was forty years old, he took as
wives Yehuḏith the daughter of Be’ĕri the Ḥittite, and Basemath the daughter
of Ělon the Ḥittite.
Gen 26:35 And they were a bitterness of spirit to
Yitsḥaq and Riḇqah.
Men who went in rebellion into a pagan culture of Babylon
were cut off. Eating and drinking abominable things and marrying and giving in
marriage to pagans made all corrupt except for Noah and his family who observed
the way of Yahuah delivered through dabar.
The same situation exists in our day. Men who call
themselves as spiritual Yahudi’s are living the pagan Greek Roman culture/mindset,
Eating and drinking abominable things and marrying and giving in marriage their
children or themselves to pagans. The sign of Son of man's coming is near as
men's heart depraved.
Does the New covenant permit us to eat unclean food which
our fathers abstained from, even before written Torah came?
Mat 7:6 “Do
not give what is set-apart to the dogs, nor throw your pearls before the pigs,
lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.
These are the
very words of Yahusha who likened uncircumcised hearts to unclean animals as
dogs and pigs.
Speaking about
false prophets who left their former estate i.e. legalist Judaism and showed
signs of Covenant Hebraic mindset, Peter says it was better for them not to
have known the way of righteousness for they rolled back to their former estate
and likens their state as a dog returning to its own vomit and a pig to the rolling
in the mud.
2Pe 2:21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the
way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the set-apart command
delivered unto them.
2Pe 2:22 For them the
proverb has proved true, “A dog returns to
his own vomit,” and, “A washed sow returns to her rolling in the mud.”
Mar 5:1
And they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the
Gaḏarenes.
Mar 5:20
And he left and began to proclaim in Dekapolis all that יהושע had done for him, and all marveled.
Luk 8:26
And they sailed to the country of the Gaḏarenes, which is
opposite Galil.
Decapolis in
Greek means 'ten cities' where deca means 10 and polis means
cities. Decapolis was a region and not a city itself, but a territory of
cities, one of which was Gadara known today as Umm
Qais. The Decapolis was a group of ten cities.
Have you considered that Torah forbids not only eating pig meat but also
nourishing them? So, what were pigs doing in this area? The mingling of the
seed of Yasharal on the east side of the sea of Kinnereth/Galil with pagans was
evident. Yahusha came for His lost sheep who were Torahless. In the parable of
the Lost Son, we see the lost son amongst pigs and eating pigs' food until
he comes to his senses and comes back to his father's house. The prodigal
son parable is figurative of the lost sheep of the house of Yasharal among
pagan nations and peoples and are in a Greco Roman mindset who in belief
in Messiah coming back to the Fathers house i.e. the Covenant Hebrew mindset.
Luk 15:15 “And
he went and joined himself to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent
him to his fields to feed pigs.
Luk 15:16 “And
he was longing to fill his stomach with the pods which the pigs were eating,
and no one gave to him.
Why did the demons beg Yahusha that they enter the swine and Yahusha
permitted them, if swine were clean?
Mar 5:11
Now a great herd of pigs was there, feeding near the mountains.
Mar 5:12
And all the demons begged Him, saying, “Send us to the
pigs, so that we enter into them.”
Mar 5:13 And He
gave them permission. And the unclean spirits came out and entered into the
pigs – they were about two thousand – and the herd
rushed down the steep place into the sea, and drowned in the sea.
Mark gives us
detail that there were 2,000 pigs whilst Matthew states 'herd of pigs' (Matt
8:30-31) and Luke states 'herd of many pigs' (Luke 8:32). The demons entered a
HERD of 2,000 shows us 2 x 1000 where number 2 in Hebrew ‘shaniy’ means
‘double, second, twice and number 1,000 shows us a completeness. The demons
termed as ‘Legion’ which is a term borrowed from a Roman regiment of 5,000
soldiers.
Mat 26:53 “Or do
you think that I am not able to pray to My Father now, and He shall provide Me
with more than twelve legions of
messengers?
When Peter cut of the ear of the high priest’s servant,
Yahusha told him to put his sword back in its sheath for if he prayed, wouldn’t
the Father provide Him with 12 legion of angels? Numbers play an important role
in quotes where number 12 speaks of 12 tribes, 12 apostles and is the number of
the congregation of Alahym and number 5 speaks of spiritual Torah and 1,000
speaks of completeness.
12 x 5 x 1000
Hence, the number of angels that spiritually would fight
on behalf of Yahusha to keep Him away from the stake would be angels equivalent
to the complete number of all elect Covenant Yasharal. But He didn’t permit
that to happen for this complete number was only possible when He went to the
stake to redeem them.
Coming back to the ‘Legion’ of 5 x 1,000 demons which
were permitted to enter the pigs shows us a picture of Shatan’s kingdom trying
to obscure ruach Torah denoted by 5 and the complete number 1,000 as they were
sitting within it to distort, obscure, lead away, blind etc. the believer but
were sent into the 2,000 pigs where number 2 here shows a secondary witness and
its completeness of 1,000 which is not the primary witness of Yahusha, and
where did the pigs go, they went and drowned in the sea, where sea is also an
imagery for peoples of the nations. The number 2 here can also be seen as the
Greco Roman mindset and the Hebrew legalist mindset which is the carnal mind in
enmity with Alahym. The PIG mindset which accepts the demon doctrines.
Elijah fed by
ravens?
Leviticus 11 puts
ravens as unclean birds. So, did Yahuah feed him through unclean birds.
Remember, ravens comes into the category of scavenger birds who feed on unclean
meats and carcasses of animals. Would Yahuah feed his servant using ravens?
Le 11:13 And these are they which ye shall have in abomination
among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle,
and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
14 And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;
15 Every raven (or’bim) after his kind;
16 And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after
his kind,
17 And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,
18 And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,
19 And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
20 ¶ All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination
unto you.
1Ki 17:4 It shall be that you
shall drink of the brook, and I have commanded the Aleph Tau ‘orbim ערבם’ to
feed you there.
1Ki 17:5 So he went and did according to the word of Yahuah, for he went and
lived by the brook Cherith, which is before the Yarden
1Ki 17:6 The ‘orbim ערבם’ brought
him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he
would drink from the brook.
The Hebrew word ‘orbim ערבם’which in singular is ‘arab ערב’
where in English we also use the term as one who is a desert dweller or from
Arabia H6154, also means ‘surety’ H6148. In Hebrew ‘ereb ערב’
H6153 also means ‘evening’ giving us an idea of exchange of light to darkness.
There is a
letter ‘ghayin’ which modern Hebrew has lost; they use instead ‘ayin
ע’ for everything. ‘gharabym’ and that’s the word for
‘ravens’ with the first letter as 'ghayin' which is normalized and translated as ‘orbim’ as ravens. If you notice
1Kings 17:4 has the alaph tau before ‘orbim ערבם’
which clearly shows the ‘mark’ of Yahusha before the word indicating
‘kosher eating’. Moroever, the ‘orbim ערבם’
brought Elijah ‘bread and meat’ which is intelligent & sustaining feeding
which a creature like a raven wouldn’t bring & indicates that more than 1
person who was in the way of Yahuah & living in the desert area were
feeding Elijah with bread and meat morning and evening.
To justify
the Hebrew legalistic mindset, the midrash states the ravens swooped down on
Ahab’s royal table and picked up bread and meat from there and took it to
Elijah and that king Ahab ordered a special bread and meat be prepared when he
saw this happening and having no clue who is eating it. All this is beyond
scripture and Jewish fables. We must be consistent in interpretation from
scripture, Yahuah wouldn’t go against His word by feeding Elijah with a
scavenger bird, the ‘orbim ערבם’ had to be some
desert dwellers whom Yahuah commanded to feed His servant morning and evening.
Mat 13:47 “Again,
the reign of the heavens is like a dragnet that was thrown into the sea and
gathered some of every kind,
Mat 13:48
which, when it was filled, they drew to shore. And they sat down and gathered
the good into containers, but threw the WORTHLESS away.
Mat 13:49 “Thus shall it be at the end of the age: the
messengers shall come forth, and separate the wicked out of the midst of the
righteous,
The worthless
fish thrown away is indication of unclean fish which were not eaten were also
caught in the net and symbolizes those not in Covenant Hebrew mindset.
It’s a behavior one displays showing whether he/she is in Covenant Yasharal is
or not. Our body is for the Master and not for whoring as Shaul says in 1 Cor
6:13 And the body is not for whoring but for the
Master, and the Master for the body.
We are called to
walk as our ADON Himself walked.
1Jn
2:6 The one who says he stays in Him (Yahusha) ought
himself also to walk, even as He walked.
Yahusha said its not what enters a man makes him
unclean but what comes forth from his heart and this scripture is widely used
to teach we can eat anything i.e. even unclean meat. Yahusha was speaking to
the Jewish audience and yet there was not a single accusation made against Him
that he taught to eat non-kosher meats for He didn’t. The Hebrew translations
use the word ‘dabar’ which also means ‘order’ before the word
Mar 7:15 “There
is no dabar דנר (orderly food) that enters a man from outside which is able to
defile him, but it is what comes out of him that defiles the man.
Mar 7:16 “If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!”
The context of these verses was to refute the oral
tradition taught by Pharisees to wash hands and then only eat and they were
accusing Yahusha’s disciples of not eating with washed hands. Yahusha was not
teaching to eat unclean stuff.
Summary:
There are three mindsets out of which two are covenantless and they are the Greco Roman mindset (of the world) and the Hebrew legalistic mindset (Torah of sin and death) which lead to second death and is the pathway of Esau and Yishmael who also were firstborns who lost their birthright because they disregarded the true path and their worship pattern involved their belly with carnal appeasements. The Torah of sin and death was given as an interim for the golden calf sin and became a school master to lead them to Messiah Yahusha, but most of them stumbled in the food and drinks which were nothing but fleshly appeasement which was like sporting/latschaq (rose up to play) as it couldn't recognize the transition of Yahuah to Yahusha and the way became idolatrous as they likened Him to a golden calf/aleph , while just the remnant transitioned to Messiah Yahusha.
The walk with Yahusha is displayed through a behavior & the behavior comes from a Covenant Hebrew mindset which is from the new man created in set-apartness being in the new creation order of Messiah Yahusha. The apostle Shaul urges us not to be confirmed to the world which has the Greco Roman (lawless) mindset.
Rom12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the newness of your heart, so that you may prove what the will of the Elohim is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect will.
The Hebrew Covenant mindset upholds the sanctification of the body to the highest level for we transition in the body of Messiah Yahusha who said "A body you have prepared for Me" and Saul the apostle tells us that our body is not for fornication but for the Adon and the Adon for the body. Shaul the apostle also tells us in Hebrews 2:11 that the sanctifier and those who are sanctified are of ONE, indicating our transition in HIM. While we are being changed from glory to glory, our transition will be completed once we attain the glorified body of Messiah as John says "...when He appears, we shall be like Him"
Heb 2:11 For both He who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all of them of One. Therefore, He is not ashamed to call them brothers,
Hence, its very important that we do not indulge in the idolatrous way associated with Esau and Yishmael and for a matter of fact even way of Qayin (as he too was a firstborn) related to food and drinks which defile the body. We maintain the sanctification of the body and walk the sapphire laws in the footsteps of Yahusha. Yahusha said "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of Alahym" and the pattern outlined in scripture before even written Torah of sin and death came is to keep the body disciplined and under subjection of the sanctification and the dietary laws came as a testing to it. The unclean food was to be abstained to keep the body sanctified and the New Covenant doesn't give us a license to eat the scavengers which Alahym created to cleanse the earth. The people with the Greco Roman mindset are likened to these unclean creatures and this study gives ample evidence of it, a few examples being Legion of demons begging to be allowed to be sent into the 2,000 pigs and the study gives the spiritual significance of it, false prophets are likened to a dog returning to its own vomit and the swine after being cleansed into the mud, the dragnet which is dragged with fish both good and worthless, the worthless denoting the non-consumable fish according to dietary laws, prodigal son among pigs desiring to eat pig unclean food and coming to his senses returns to the father's house, Noah asked to take 7 pairs of clean animals and just one pair of unclean animals as the clean animals would be sacrificed and would be food later while the unclean dont and hence just a pair etc.
The sanctification of the body comes through a Covenant Hebrew mindset with a love for Yahusha as the body is for the ADON and the ADON for the body!
