Dan 12:7 I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, as he raised his right hand and his left toward the heavens, and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for time/moed, times/moedim, and half/chetsey; and when they have accomplished scattering the power of the set apart people, all these events they shall be completed in oppression/takalyanah.
tau as prefix is She/You/They will
Kal H3605 in Hebrew means 'complete/whole/all'
yanah H3238 means 'oppress'
moed H4150 means 'appointed time' and moedim is plural which means 'appointed times'. This is related to the feasts of Yahuah as stated in Lev 23
Lev23:2 Speak to the sons of Yisrael and say to them, the appointed times/moed of Yahuah which you shall proclaim them as holy convocations; My appointed times/moaeday, they are these:
Ex 17:12 But Mosheh hands were heavy. Then they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it; and Aharon and Chur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other. Thus, his hands were steady until the sun set.
Ex 17:13 So Yahushua overwhelmed Amaleq and his people with the edge of the sword.
Ex 17:14 Then Yahuah said to Mosheh, Write this in a book as a memorial/zikaron and place in the ears of Yahushua, that I shall utterly/machah H4229 blot/machah H4229 out the rememberance/zakar of Amaleq from under heavens.
Ex 17:15 Mosheh built an altar and he called its name Yahuah is My banner/Nissi;
Ex 17:16 and he said, that a hand is on the throne of Yah; Yahuah shall have war against Amaleq from generation to generation.
When you read the passages on the war with Amaleq, we read the passages beginning with one hand/yad i.e. when he lifted his hand, Yasharal prevailed and when he let his hand down Amaleq prevailed.
Ex 17:11 So it came about when Mosheh held his hand up, that Yisra’El prevailed, and when he let his hand down, Amaleq prevailed.
Then the passages switch to 'hands' in Exo 12 which is plural 'yaday'
Yahuah lets us know the significance in Exo 17:16 where He says ''a hand is on the throne of Yah'' and further lets us know that Yahuah shall have war against Amaleq from generation to generation.
Who is Amaleq?
Gen 36:10 These are the names of Esau’s sons: Eliphaz the son of Esau’s wife Adah, Reu’El the son of Esau’s wife Basemath.
Gen 36:11 The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Tsepho and Gatam and Qenaz.
Gen 36:12 Timna was a concubine of Esau’s son Eliphaz and she bore Amaleq to Eliphaz. These are the sons of Esau’s wife Adah.
Amaleq was the grandson of Esau.
Speaking of the coming of Mashiyach, this is what Balaam prophesies.
Num 24:17 I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near; A star shall come forth from Yaaqob, a scepter shall rise from Yisra’El, and shall crush through the forehead of Moab, and tear down all the sons of Sheth.
Num 24:18 Edom shall be a possession, Seir, its enemies, also shall be a possession, while Yisra’El performs valiantly.
Num 24:19 One from Yaaqob shall have dominion and shall destroy the remnant from the city.
Num 24:20 And he looked at Amaleq and took up his parable and said, Amaleq was the first of the nations, but his end shall come to destruction.
Amaleq here is called as 'first of the nations' referring to the firstborn son Esau who then lost hi birthright to his younger brother Yaaqob and so it was said of Esau ''The older shall serve the younger''
Hence, the hand on the throne of Yah is Yahusha who comes as the firstborn & prevails over Esau.
I have explained this before, just touch basing on this here:
Hab 3:3 Aluah comes from Tฤman, And the Set-apart One from Mount Paran. Selah. His splendour shall cover the heavens, And His praise shall fill the earth.
Hab 3:4 His radiance is as the light, He has horns/rays/power from His hand, and in name is His strength hidden.
The power, horns/ qeren ๐ค๐ค๐ค is in His hand (the nail print) and strength/oz ๐ค๐ค ๐ค is hidden in His name.
The horns or power is plural whereas the hand is singular, the attention is on His Right Hand and this can be seen when we see the unfolding of the first born.
Deu 33:1 And this is the blessing with which Mosheh the man of Elohim blessed the children of Yisra’ฤl before his death.
Deu 33:2 And he said, “ืืืื came from Sinai, and rose from Sฤ‛ir for them. He shone forth from Mount Paran and came with ten thousands of set-apart ones – at His right hand a law of fire for them.
If you notice Habakkuk 3:3 says Aluah comes from Teman and the Set Apart One from Mount Paran
And Moshe/Moses in his final blessing names two places Seir and Mount Paran. He says Yahuah rose/zarach (which also means dawn) from Seir unto them. Them who? Yasharal.
Masha also says He shone forth /yapa from Mount Paran and He came with ten thousands of Qodesh ones and from His right hand went a fiery law for them.
Seir and Teman are in Edom where Esau, the firstborn son of Yitshaq dwelt.
Paran is where Yishmael the first-born son of Hagar and Abraham dwelt.
Yishmael representing Paran and Esau representing Seir were firstborn sons of their fathers who were cast out of their birthright and was given to the promised seed.
Here it’s so clear that this speaks of Yahuah as Yahusha.
Similarly in the Exo 17 text where Yahuah will have war with Amaleq from generation to generation is figurative of Esau who kept oppressing the promised seed and hence, will be defeated by the one coming with the firstborn blessing i.e., Yahusha once and for all.
Coming back to the Daniel 12:7 text, the man he raised his right hand and his left toward the heavens and swore by Him who lives forever.
Whereas Yahuchanan says the Messenger he saw only lifted up his right hand to the heavens and swore by Him who lives forever and ever that 'there shall be time no longer'
Rev 10:5 And the messenger whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to the heavens,
Rev 10:6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created the heavens and all which are in it, and the earth and all which are in it, and the sea, and all which are in it, that there shall be time no longer,
In comparing Daniel 12:7 and Rev 10:5-6 passages we see a juxtapose:
Daniel says he lifted up both his hands and swore by him who lives forever and ever; Yahuchanan says He lifted his right hand.
Daniel says that it would be for time/moed, times/moedim, and half/chetsy; and when they have made an end of scattering the power of the set apart people, all these events they shall be completed in oppression/takalyanah; Yahuchanan says that there shall be time no longer, (Rev 10:7) but in the days of the voice of the seventh messenger, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of the Elohim is finished, as He preached to His servants the prophets.
(Dan12:8) Daniel says As for me, I heard but could not understand; so I said, my Adon, what shall be the outcome of these events and then he is told to conceal the words until the time of the end (Daniel 12:9); Yahuchanan is told (Rev22:10) And he said to me, Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, for the appointed time/moed is near.
The sign is clearly spelled out to us it will be for moed, moedim are cut off/chetsy as the power of the set-apart people is scattered and it will be accomplished in oppression of the set-apart people. This can be seen as the 12 tribes are in dispersion of the nations and the new moon, feasts, Sabbaths etc. are ceased. This is also synonymous with the sign of the sun, moon & stars turning into darkness, where sun, moon and stars represent Yasharal (Remember Yoseph's dream where he saw the sun, moon and 11 stars (he himself was the 12th star) bowing down to him?). There is widespread apostasy as the people claiming to be Yasharal of Yahuah are not able to discern the signs of the times.
We saw the hand (singular) on the throne of Yahuah and the switch to the hands (Yahuah's hand visible and invisible) in the account of Masha when Yasharal was at war with Amaleq. A reverse switch is seen from OT to NT is seen when the hands (right and left; plural) seen in the Daniel's account switches to the right hand (singular) as Yahuah tells Masha that a hand is on the throne of Yah.
Rev 10:6 says that there shall be/sha time/eth not repeated witness/od,
od H5749 means a repeat witness and is a root word in 'moed' (appointed time).
eth H6256 means 'time/season'. The Aramaic uses the word 'zabna' whose one of the expressions is seasonal festival.
Yahuchanan says that the time will not be in repeated witness. Now let's read the verse in its proper context:
Rev 10:6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created the heavens and all which are in it, and the earth and all which are in it, and the sea, and all which are in it, that the time will not be in repeat witness.
Towards the end of the book when he is told not to conceal the book he says
Rev22:10 And he said to me, Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, for the appointed time/moed is near.
And this in context of the coming of Yahusha ha Mashiyach as our divine appointment is with him and not that the repeat witness of feasts or Shabbath or Shemitah will again be started.
Rev 22:7 And behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this scroll.
The Od-H5708 also means a Repeat Witness/Woman's mensuration flux. The carnal seed still looks at signs in the sun, moon and stars in observing an unclean witness/ad. Ad in Abary also means the woman's mensurational flux which is a continuous reminder of the need for her purification. The spiritual seed sees the beautiful salvation plan and the completion of purification by Mashiyach who himself rolls the heavens/shamayam as a scroll and reveals to us what he accomplished for us.
Finally, Revelation 10:7 says that when the voice of the 7th Messenger sounds 'the mystery of Aluahym is finished'
Rev 10:7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh messenger, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of the Elohim is finished, as He preached to His servants the prophets.
