The Divinity of Mashiyach- Part 2

In the part 1 of the study we saw the transcendence of Aluahym who is beyond time, space and matter and he entered into creation (while he created) into a beginning/barashaiyth and thus we see Him claiming He is the First and the Last, the Alaph and the Tau, the beginning and the end.

Psa 113:5  Who is like יהוה our Elohim, Who is enthroned on high?
Psa 113:6  He looks down on the heavens and in the earth;

In part 2 of this study we will see the passages relating to Yahusha stating the Father is greater than He, My Al/Aluahym, the Father is the One true Al etc in the right perspective.

Joh 17:3  “And this is everlasting life, that they should know You, the only true Elohim, and יהושע Messiah whom You have sent.

Joh 20:17  יהושע said to her, “Do not hold on to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My Elohim and your Elohim.’ ”

Heb 1:8  But to the Son He says, “Your throne, O Elohim, is forever and ever, a sceptre of straightness is the sceptre of Your reign.
Heb 1:9  “You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness.Because of this, Elohim, Your Elohim, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”

Before we understand the above passages in the right perspective, the most common quoted scriptures is from Masha's account where Unitarians who don't believe in the divinity of Ha Mashiyach love to quote from showing that Yahusha was a deliverer like Masha whom Yahuah made like alahym to Pharoah

Exo 7:1  So יהוה said to Mosheh, “See, I have made you an elohim to Pharaoh, and Aharon your brother is your prophet

What they only see in the Hebrew scroll passages of comparison between Masha and Mashiyach is the emissary says that Yahusha was trustworthy to Him who appointed Him, as also Masha in all His house (verse 2 of Heb 3).  What they fail to see is verse 3 which says Yahusha has been deemed worthy of more esteem than Masha as much as He who built the house enjoys more respect than the house. We are the house that is being built in completeness and verse 4 says He who built all is Alahym.

****Heb 3:4 revised Hebrew translation word to word (ki/For kal/complete-bayith/house yesh/which is-la/of uau/and boneh/built uboneh/and built hakol/completely hu/Him ha/the ’Elohim/Alahym.) ****

Heb 3:1  Therefore, set-apart brothers, partakers of the heavenly calling, closely consider the Emissary and High Priest of our confession, Messiah יהושע,

Heb 3:2  who was trustworthy to Him who appointed Him, as also Mosheh in all His house.
Heb 3:3  For this One (Yahusha) has been deemed worthy of more esteem than Mosheh, as much as He who built the house enjoys more respect than the house.
Heb 3:4  For the complete house which is of and built and built completely by Him the Elohim.

Hence, if Yahusha is worthy to receive respect as the One who built the house and the complete house which is and built completely by Aluahym, then surely He is Aluahym. Let's read on, the Abary revised translation into English

Heb 3:5. wa hen/And surely Mosheh/Masha ne’eman/being faithful b’kal/in all beytho/his house k ebed/as a servant l/for`eduth/a witness ha dabariym/the words ha`athiydiym/to be spoken.

verse 5 And surely Masha being faithful in all his house as a servant for a witness of the words to be spoken

Heb 3:6. ‘abal/Nevertheless haMashiyach/the Mashiyach hua/became k/as ’ben/Son `al/over-beytho/his house wa/and anach’nu/we are beytho/his house u/and bil’bad/if we only shenachaziyq/hold fast ba/in bit’chah/our trust u/and bi/in th’hilath/the boast hatiq’wah/of our trust w/and ’lo/of -nar’penah/our firmness `ad/until -haqets/the end

verse 6 Nevertheless the Mashiyach became as Son over his house and we are his house and if we only hold fast in our trust and in the boast of our trust and our firmness until the end.

Things to remember : 1) Masha was faithful over the house as a servant

2) Yahusha became as Son over his house in appointment by decree and we are that house, He receives esteem as the One who built the complete house and the One who builds the complete house is Aluahym.

Since we have seen the revised Hebrew translation word to word into English, now lets look at the passages which Unitarians love to show Yahusha as a Prophet according to Masha putting him on the same level as Masha

***Revised Hebrew translation word to word****

Deut 18:15. nabia/A prophet miqir’b’ak/from within me’acheyak/your brethren kamoni/according to me yaqim/shall rise l’ak/for you Yahúwah ‘Eloheyak/your AL ‘elayu/to him tish’ma`un/you shall listen.

Deut 18:15 A Prophet from within your brethren according to me shall rise for you, Yahuah your Aluahym to him you shall listen

Deut 18:18. nabi’/A Prophet ‘aqim/I raise lahem/to them miqereb/from within ‘acheyhem/their brethren kamok/according to w’nathati/and I shall give d’baray/words b’phiu/in his mouth w’dabar/and speak ‘alayhem/to them ‘eth/alaph tau kal/all-‘asher/which ‘atsauenu/are my commands.

Deut 18:18 A Prophet I raise to them from within their brethren according to and I shall give words in his mouth and speak to them alaph tau all which are my commands.

The children of Yasharal had said they don't want to hear again the voice of Yahuah Aluahym and no more wanted to see the mountain smoking with fire due to great fear of death and had asked Masha to go alone to meet Yahuah while they stood afar off. Yahuah told Masha ''What they have spoken is good'' and then speaks of the Prophet He would raise from within their brethren who would rise for them as Masha did and who is He? In the revised Hebrew translation of Deut 18:15 we see He is Yahuah their Aluahym and to him they were told they should listen to.
In the revised translation we see clearly that the Prophet to come is Yahuah the Aluahym who is speaking and they are being told to listen to. Deuteronomy/Debarim 18:15-19 is a summary of Exodus/Shamuth 20:18-21 which Masha testifies to Yasharal

Exo 20:18  And all the people saw the thunders, the lightning flashes, the sound of the ram’s horn, and the mountain smoking. And the people saw it, and they trembled and stood at a distance,

Exo 20:19  and said to Mosheh, “You speak with us and we hear, but let not Elohim speak with us, lest we die.”
Exo 20:20  And Mosheh said to the people, “Do not fear, for Elohim has come to prove you, and in order that His fear be before you, so that you do not sin.”

Exo 20:21  So the people stood at a distance, but Mosheh drew near the thick darkness where Elohim was.

Deu 18:16  according to all you asked of יהוה your Elohim in Ḥorĕḇ in the day of the assembly, saying, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of יהוה my Elohim, nor let me see this great fire any more, lest I die.’

Deu 18:17  “And יהוה said to me, ‘What they have spoken is good.

The scroll of Hebrews 12 tells us who the speaker is, thus, testifying that Yahusha is Yahuah himself.

Heb 12:18  For you have not drawn near to a mountain touched and scorched with fire, and to blackness, and darkness and storm,

Heb 12:19  and a sound of a trumpet, and a voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that no further Word should be spoken to them,

The emissary in Hebrews 12:18-26 in context to Exodus/Shamuth 20:18-21 & Deuteronomy/Debarim 18:15-19 warns to take heed not to refuse the One speaking, for those who refused the warning on earth did not escape, so also if we who turn away from Him speaking from heaven, we will not escape. The Voice that spoke on earth was at Horeb which the people entreated Masha that they don't want to hear the voice again, the same voice speaks through the Heavenly man whose voice (see the last part of Heb 12:25 and beginning of verse 26) shook the earth then.

Heb 12:24  and to יהושע the Mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling which speaks better than the blood of Heḇel.

Heb 12:25  Take heed not to refuse the One speaking. For if those did not escape who refused the warning on earth, much less we who turn away from Him from heaven,

Heb 12:26  whose voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.”

****Revised Hebrew translation word to word*****

Deut 18:19. w/And hayah/it would be ha/the ’ish/man ‘asher/that lo’/not -yishema/he will listen` ‘el/to-d’baray/my words ‘asher/which  y’daber/he speaks bi/in shami/my name ‘anoki/I  ‘ed’rosh/shall require me/of`imo/him.

Deut 18:19 And it would be the man that will not listen to my words which he speaks in my name/breath I shall require of him

The word sham which means name is a root word in 'nashama' which means 'breath'

The Son came in His Father's name (Yahuchanan 5:43) and in the Part 1 study of 'The Divinity of Mashiyach' we saw Yahuah saying  in Exo 3:15 ''...This is My Name forever, and this is My remembrance/zakaray H2143 to all generations.’'

'Baruk haba basham Yahuah'

The same word ‘zakar’ זכר without the vowel points H2145 means ‘male/male child’.

Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a son, a male child/zakar זכר , who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to the Elohim and to His throne.

Yahusha is the זכר/zakar (male child) who was by decree inscribed/saphar (saphar also means scroll) to be begotten as a Son to break the nations with a sceptre of iron and dash them to pieces like a potter's vessel. It was a decree inscribed in the Ruach in surety of relating everything in heaven and on earth back to Yahuah through a body He chose to dwell in fullness, in taking upon Sonship to ransom Yasharal His first-born and handover the right of Sonship to Him.

Psa 2:7  “I inscribe for a decree: יהוה has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have brought You forth.
Psa 2:8  ‘Ask of Me, and I make the gentiles Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth Your possession.

Psa 2:9  ‘Break them with a sceptre of iron, Dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’

As the firstborn Son Yahuah Himself came to replace Yasharal His firstborn Son in handing over the authority of sonship to Him, this we see in many scriptures and one of them as mentioned below. The authority to rule the nations with the sceptre of iron and dashing them as vessels of the potter is given to His elect by Yahusha

Rev 2:26  “And he who overcomes, and guards My works until the end, to him I shall give authority over the nations,
Rev 2:27  and he shall with sceptre of iron as vessels of potter are broken to pieces as have received also from My Father

Hos 11:1  “When Yisra’ĕl was a child, I loved him, and out of Mitsrayim I called My son.

Exo 4:22  “And you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus said יהוה, “Yisra’ĕl is My son, My first-born

Exo 4:23  so I say to you, let My son go to serve Me. But if you refuse to let him go, see, I am killing your son, your first-born.” ’ ”

Joh 1:12  But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become sons of Elohim, to those believing in His Name,

Exo 13:12  that you shall pass over to יהוה every one opening the womb, and every first-born that comes from your livestock, the males/zakar זכר belong to יהוה.

Exo 13:13  “But every first-born of a donkey you are to ransom with a lamb. And if you do not ransom it, then you shall break its neck. And every first-born of man among your sons you are to ransom.

Col 1:15  who is the likeness of the invisible Elohim, the first-born of all creation.

Gal 4:4  But when the completion of the time came, Elohim sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under Torah,
Gal 4:5  to redeem those who were under Torah, in order to receive the adoption as sons.
Gal 4:6  And because you are sons, Elohim has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!”

Gal 4:7  So you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, also an heir of Elohim through Messiah.

We already saw a comparison between Masha and Mashiyach, Masha is termed to be a servant over the house and Mashiyach as the Son who is the builder and Aluahym gets more respect than Masha.  Hence the Prophet like/according to Masha being raised from the brethren has to be understood in the right perspective.

Now that we have laid a firm foundation from scriptures, we can understand why Yahusha said terms as ''that they should know You, the one true Alahym, My Alahym and your Alahym'' etc. He was here in the body prepared for him as the firstborn Son, representing Yasharal to ransom him.

Psa 40:6  Slaughtering and meal offering You did not desire; You have opened my hearing/azanayam אזנים H241; Burnt offering and sin offering You did not borrow of/shalath  שאלת.

Psa 40:7  Then I said, “See, I have come; In the scroll of the roll it is written for me.

Heb 10:5  Therefore, coming into the world, He says, “Slaughtering and meal offering You did not desire, but a body גויה You have prepared for Me.

Heb 10:6  “In burnt offerings and offerings for sin You did not borrow of

Many people see contradiction between Psalms 40:6 and Heb 10:5, as the Psalmist records ''You have opened my hearing'' KJV records ''You have opened my ears''

The Abary word azanayam אזנים H241 (azan אזנ) means hearing whereas azan means ear/hear.

H241 azan

From H238; broadness, that is, (concretely) the ear (from its form in man): - + advertise, audience, + displease, ear, hearing, + show.

The hearing/understanding of Yahusha is being opened up from Turah and that's what the verse means. As for the dispute that Heb 10:5 is copied wrongly by scribes is a straw man argument because even the Khabouris records 'pagara/body' (Aramaic word 'pagara' פגרא), the Hebrew translation records the word as 'guyah' גויה which also means 'body'. The emissary understood by the Ruach the spiritual aspect of the hearing being opened from Turah that the firstborn of the male beast was offered for the firstborn of Yahuah i.e. Yasharal

Exo 13:13  “But every first-born of a donkey you are to ransom with a lamb. And if you do not ransom it, then you shall break its neck. And every first-born of man among your sons you are to ransom.
Exo 13:14  “And it shall be, when your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What is this?’ then you shall say to him, ‘By strength of hand יהוה brought us out of Mitsrayim, out of the house of bondage.

Exo 13:15  ‘And it came to be, when Pharaoh was too hardened to let us go, that יהוה killed every first-born in the land of Mitsrayim, both the first-born of man and the first-born of beast. Therefore I am slaughtering to יהוה every male/zakar זכר H2145 that open the womb, but every first-born of my sons I ransom.’

The Turah portion reads when your son asks you in time to come saying ''What is this?'' then you shall say to him that Yahuah brought us out of Mitsrayim, out of the house of bondage by the strength of his hand, and Pharaoh was too hardened to let us go, hence, Yahuah killed every firstborn in the land of Mitsrayim both of man and of beast. Therefore, I am slaughtering to Yahuah every male/zakar זכר that opens the womb but every firstborn of my sons I ransom.

The firstborn of the sheep/heifer/lamb/bull etc was offered as a ransom for the firstborn of the sons of Yasharal, hence, Yahuah did not desire in these sacrifices and offerings and gave a ransom of himself to Yasharal his firstborn by coming as the first-born male/zakar זכר through a body he prepared for Him as written in the roll/מגלת of the scroll/ספר

There are also those reading Psalms 40:6 in the English semantics ''.....Burnt offering and sin offering You did not ask for'' and derive that Yahuah never asked for blood sacrifices and preach a vegan basarah. The English translations we have are very poor translations and hence, its necessary that we look up word to word in Abary to understand and derive a correct Ruach led translation.

Psalms 40:6 uses the word 'shalath  שאלת' which means 'borrow of/beg/request' and the verse means Yahuah did not borrow/beg of the first-born of the beast to ransom his first-born Yasharal, He himself did it. We use the right English word in context to show the correct meaning.

Psalms 40:6 ''.....Burnt offering and sin offering You did not borrow of/beg for''

The emptying in taking up the pagara/guyah i.e. a body:

Phil 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in the Mashiyach Yahusha,
Phillipians 2:6. ‘asher /Who ‘aph/moreover ki/when -hayah/being b/in d’muth/blood likeness ha/of ’Elohim/Alahym lo/not’-chashab/devised lo/neither l/to shalal/take heyotho/to be shaweh/equal l/to ’Elohim/Alahym.

In plain English: Phil 2:6 Who moreover when being in the blood likeness of Aluahym did not devise/think neither to take to be equal to Alahym.

Phillipians 2:7. ki/For ‘im/surely-hiph’shiyt/emptied ‘eth/alaph tau-`ats’mo/himself wa/and yil’bash/took upon d’muth/blood likeness `ebbed/of servant wa/and y’hiy/became domeh/blood like li/of b’ney/son ‘adam/Adam wa/and yimatse/ he strengthened’ bi/in thakunatho/measure k/of ’ben/son ‘adam/Adam.

In plain English: Phil 2:7 For surely emptied alaph tau himself and took upon blood likeness of a servant and became blood like of son of Adam and he strengthened in the measure of the son of Adam.

The Abary words are amazing, the words damuth/damah means ‘blood likeness’, whereas, English only renders the word as 'likeness'. The word 'damuth' has the root words 'dam' which means 'blood' and ‘muth’ which means ‘death’. The verses means that he was in the exact substance of Aluahym in existence, being in equality he did not devise/think (chashab) to be equal to Aluahym but emptied himself out of what he was, taking himself the blood likeness of a servant and became like the son of Adam, strengthening himself in the pattern or measure/takan of the son of Adam.

Being in the lower form, in a guyah/body as the son of Adam, he subjected Himself to the pattern/measure in saving the firstborn son Yasharal in ransoming him.

Psa 65:2  To You who hears all prayer, all flesh comes.

Isa 66:23  “And it shall be that from New Moon to New Moon, and from Sabbath to Sabbath, all flesh shall come to worship before Me,” declares יהוה.

Being in a body of flesh He had to conform to the pattern/measure and since the dabar said that 'all flesh shall come before Yahuah in worship and in prayer' how could he not have prayed and worshiped being in the flesh?

Exo 4:22  “And you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus said יהוה, “Yisra’ĕl is My son, My first-born,
Exo 4:23  so I say to you, let My son go to serve Me. But if you refuse to let him go, see, I am killing your son, your first-born.” ’ ”

Exo 5:1  And afterwards Mosheh and Aharon went in and said to Pharaoh, “Thus said יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, ‘Let My people go, so that they keep a festival to Me in the wilderness.’ ”

Pharoah was told to let His people Yasharal, his first-born to let go into the wilderness so that they keep a festival to Yahuah in the wilderness

Deu 8:2  “And you shall remember that יהוה your Elohim led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, prove you, to know what is in your heart, whether you guard His commands or not.
Deu 8:3  “And He humbled you, and let you suffer hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, to make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that comes from the mouth יהוה

When he led his first-born son Yasharal in the wilderness, He humbled him and let him suffer hunger for 40 years to make them know that Man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that comes from the mouth of Yahuah. And we see Yahusha being led by the Ruach into the wilderness to be tried by the devil for 40 days and he too suffered hunger, while Yasharal in the wilderness failed, and of all that generation died due to disobedience (except for Kaleb and Yahushua/Joshua who remained faithful), and their sons and daughters entered the promised land, Yahusha as the first-born Son when humbled, by his obedience He ransomed Yasharal his first-born

Mat 4:1  Then יהושע was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tried by the devil.
Mat 4:2  And after having fasted forty days and forty nights, He was hungry.
Mat 4:3  And the trier came and said to Him, “If You are the Son of Elohim, command that these stones become bread.”
Mat 4:4  But He answering, said, “It has been written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of יהוה.’

He/Yahusha who sets apart and those/Yasharal who are being set apart are all ONE/AKHAD and He is not ashamed to call us His brothers. He as the first-born Son became our elder brother. At the same time Heb 2:13 He says ''See, I and the children whom Aluahym gave me''

Heb 2:11  For both He who sets apart and those who are being set apart are all One, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brothers,
Heb 2:12  saying, “I shall announce Your Name to My brothers, in the midst of the congregation I shall sing praise to You.”
Heb 2:13  And again, “I shall put My trust in Him.” And again, “See, I and the children whom Elohim gave Me.”
Heb 2:14  Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself similarly shared in the same, so that by means of His death He might destroy him having the power of death, that is, the devil,
Heb 2:15  and deliver those who throughout life were held in slavery by fear of death.

There is so much more we can see from His dabar showing us the Divinity of Mashiyach and how he became our kinsman redeemer by becoming our elder brother, but these proofs are enough to understand His divinity and His submission to the pattern of putting on the body of flesh and hence, calling Himself as the Son of Adam.
