The heavens declare the glory of Yah! An Exposition on Psalms 19

Psa 19:1  To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.The heavens are proclaiming the esteem of Ěl; And the expanse/raqya H7549 is declaring the handy/yadayu H3027 work/masah H4639. 
Psa 19:2  Day to day pours forth words, And night to night reveals knowledge. 
Psa 19:3  There is no words, and there are no words, Their voice is not heard. 
Psa 19:4  Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He set up a tent for the sun, 
Psa 19:5  And it is like a bridegroom coming out of his room, It rejoices like a strong man to run the path. 
Psa 19:6  Its rising is from one end of the heavens, And its circuit to the other end; And naught is hidden from its heat. 
Psa 19:7  The Torah of יהוה is perfect, bringing back the being; The witness of יהוה is trustworthy, making wise the simple; 
Psa 19:8  The orders of יהוה are straight, rejoicing the heart; The command of יהוה is clear, enlightening the eyes; 
Psa 19:9  The fear of יהוה is clean, standing forever; The right-rulings of יהוה are true, They are righteous altogether, 
Psa 19:10  More desirable than gold, Than much fine gold; And sweeter than honey and the honeycomb. 

Pslams 19 is a beautiful description of Yahuah's Torah, his witness, his precepts, his commandments, fear & right ruling (verses 7-9) comparing them to the heavens and the expanse in it declaring his handywork. This study is to show how the heavens and the things visible in them declare his handy work.

The Abary word for work is H4639 'masah' which and has the root words 'mas' which means 'affliction or melt' , 'asah' which means 'do/work' and 'sah' which means 'sheep', the word for handy is 'yadayu' which is the 'yad/hand'.

So spiritually we see the yad/hand asah/working in the heavens revealing the affliction/mas of the sheep/sah as masah/offering

Masah: With the Ayin means 'work/labor/doing'





mas/masah: Without the Ayin means melt, affliction and offering/tribute




We can see this beautiful truth when Yahuah made the heavens and the earth


Gen 1:1 says Yahuah Aluahym had made the heavens and the earth

Gen 1:1 In the beginning Elohim created the alaph tau heavens and the alaph tau earth.

The alaph tau heavens and the alaph tau earth spiritual were already created.

Heb 4:3  For we who have believed do enter into that rest, as He has said, “As I swore in My wrath, if they shall enter into My rest...” And yet His works were FINISHED from the foundation of the world.

These heavens and the earth refer to beyond the time keepers to which those in Mashiyach will attain to. How do we know it speaks the spiritual?

Gen 2:1 AND (uau) the heavens and the earth were completed/yakalu H3615 (from kalah which means COMPLETE), and all their HOSTS/H6635 tsaba.
Gen 2:2  And on the seventh day Elohim completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.
Gen 2:3  And Elohim blessed the seventh day and set it apart, because on it He rested from all His work which Elohim in creating had made.
Gen 2:4 These are the births of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that יהוה Elohim made earth and heavens.

The word ‘Tsaba H6635’ is the same word which is used as ‘Yahuah of hosts/tsaba H6635’. So these hosts are beyond the natural and one needs spiritual eyes to see them.

1Sa 15:2 “Thus said יהוה of hosts/tsaba H6635, ‘I shall punish Amalĕq for what he did to Yisra’ĕl, how he set himself against him on the way when he came up from Mitsrayim.

The sun, moon and stars refer to Yasharal and hence the 4th Day when Yahuah created them he set them as TOKENS/AUT H226

Gen 1:14  And Elohim said, “Let lights come to be in the expanse/raqya H7549 of the heavens to separate/badal H914 bayan H996 the day from the night, and let them be for signs (אוֺת) H226 and appointed times (מוֹעֵד) H4150, and for days and years,
Gen 1:15  and let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth.” And it came to be so.

It’s interesting to see the ‘ban/son’ rooted in ‘bayan’ which is translated as between (many translations won’t even translate this in this verse). Yahuah divided/badal H914 the ‘sons of light’ from the ‘sons of darkness’

The 'signs/aut' H226 were related to the firmament

Re 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

Re 8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

Mt 16:3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

While Aluahym set the 'signs' for those in the way of Kayin (Cain) as  they see literal signs in the sun, moon and stars and are deceived into a literal carnal following of the sun & moon without understanding their darkening or a blood moon sign.


Aluahym set the lights to divide the day from the night as signs. The sign of the Sun darkening, moon turning into blood and the stars falling. His 'nail' mark fastened it and will judge and show the divide asunder/separation. These are all spiritual things and hence can only be understood when compared spiritual vs spiritual.

As you can see from the spiritual comparison the 'nail' in 'owth/aut H226' shows the relation to judgment, sun which was shining bright is now darkened as the sack cloth

Hebrew word for mark of Cain is 'owth/AUT (alaph uau tau)' which means 'SIGN'/'TOKEN' H226 which is the same word used in Gen 1:14 and is used in connection to the previous Alaph Tau.

Gen 4:14  Behold, thou hast driven me out H853: את Alaph Tau this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
Gen 4:15  And Yahuah said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And Yahuah set a mark (אוֺת H226 ) upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

The word translated as 'mark' in Gen 4:15 is the Alaph Tau with a 'uau' (nail) in it which connects it to the previous Alaph Tau of Gen 4:14 which is just before 'this day'. What does this mean? Cain tells Yahuah that he has driven Cain from Yahuah's face 'THIS DAY' from the face of the earth and this means he has no more salvation for him.

'This day' is in present tense indicating while salvation was still available. It means while salvation is still available Cain will never attain it as he is cursed as a wanderer. Yahuah placed a 'wanderer' mark on him. The 'Alaph Uau Tau' connects to the previous Alaph Tau which shows him being cut off THIS DAY. That is his sign or token and to all who walk in his way.


Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Jud 1:13  wild waves of the sea foaming up their own shame, WANDERING STARS for whom blackness of darkness is kept forever.


Coming back to the 4th day when Yahuah made the sun, moon and stars and set them as AUT H226/ SIGNS spiritually shows separation/badal of the sons of light from the sons of darkness, the sons of light being the Ruach Yasharal while the sons of darkness being Yasharal after the flesh.

The heavens tells us a parable also of the Father and the Son

When it says at Isaiah 9:2 and Mat. 4:16 that those who dwelt in darkness saw a GREAT light the reference was to them seeing Yahusha; a great light, but, of the two great lights the lessor of the two. 

This fits with the reference to the Stone cut out of the Mountain without hands at Daniel 2:34. The Stone consists of the same material as the Mountain; it's just smaller. That fits with what Yahusha told us at John 14:28, "My Father is greater than I am."

Why is this?

At Exo. 20:19 the people say, Let not the Almighty speak to us lest we die!

At Deut. 18:17 Yahuah says about what the people said, "They have spoken rightly all that they have said to you." And right after saying this Yahuah says, "I will raise up to them a prophet of their brethren, LIKE YOU..." Deut. 18:18.

At Exo. 33:5 Yahuah tells them, "...if I were to come among you but for a moment, I would consume you!" 

What is the problem? Why the need for two great lights; the lessor one to rule the night?


I would say the answer is this; if the Greater Light goes into the area that those who dwell in darkness dwell in, they, and everywhere they have to be, ceases to exist. It is consumed by the Greater Light's Light; hence the need for the lessor Light; a man, Yahusha, who could go into the place those who dwell in darkness are and speak the Word of Yahuah to them without consuming the whole thing.

Yasharal is a reflection of the Creator and hence we see Yasharal portrayed as the sun,  moon and stars in imagery.

Yoseph saw the sun, moon and 11 stars (he himself was the 12th star (a tribe from the 12 tribes) bowing down to him and Yaaqob tells him in Gen 37:10 …“What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall we, your mother and I and your brothers, indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?”

This shows Yaaqob perfectly understood what his dream meant spiritually. We need spiritual eyes to see this.

Gen 37:9  And he dreamed still another dream and related it to his brothers, and said, “See, I have dreamed another dream, and see, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”
Gen 37:10  And he related it to his father and his brothers. And his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall we, your mother and I and your brothers, indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?”

Rev 12:1  And a great/gadul sign/aut H226 was seen in the heaven: a woman clad with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
Rev 12:2  And being pregnant, she cried out in labour and in pain to give birth.

Yahuchanan sees spiritual Yasharal clothed with the sun, moon under her feet and the crown of 12 stars on her head.

All this we see in the heavens/hashamayam which declare his handi/yadayu work/masah. The sun, moon and stars arrayed in the firmament speak of Yasharal.

Who is Yasharal?

Hos 11:1  “When Yisra’ĕl was a child, I loved him, and out of Mitsrayim/Egypt I called My son. 

Mat 2:15  and remained there until the death of Herodes, to fill what was spoken by יהוה through the prophet, saying, “Out of Mitsrayim/Egypt I have called My Son.

Exo 4:22  “And you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus said יהוה, “Yisra’ĕl is My son, My first-born, 

When we read prophecy we see Yasharal is Yahusha ha Mashiyach as the firstborn & firstfruits and those who believe in him as born of his will & kind of firstfruits and thus in the handi work in the hashamayam/heavens we see the yad/hand asah/working in the heavens revealing the affliction/mas of the sheep/sah as masah/offering.

Col 1:15  who is the likeness of the invisible Elohim, the first-born of all creation

Jas 1:18  Having purposed it, He brought us forth by the Word of truth, for us to be a kind of first-fruits of His creatures. 

The signs in the heavens would reveal the affliction of the sons of Aluahym as a 'sheep offering' beginning with the affliction of his only brought forth Son Yahusha ha Mashiyach and we in him, likened in his dead, burial and resurrection.

Psa 19:2  Day/yom H3117 to/la Day/yom H3117 pours forth/ naba H5042 words/amar H562, And night/H3915 laylah to night/H3915 laylah reveals/chauah H2331 knowledge/daath H1847. 
Psa 19:3  There is no word/amar H562, and there are no words/dabar H1697, Their voice/qul H6963 is not heard. 
Psa 19:4  Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He set up a tent for the sun, 
Psa 19:5  And it is like a bridegroom coming out of his room, It rejoices like a strong man to run the path. 
Psa 19:6  Its rising is from one end of the heavens, And its circuit to the other end; And naught is hidden from its heat. 

It's interesting to see Psalms 19:2 in relation to the heavens/hashamayam revealing his handiwork says Day to Day pours forth/naba word or speech/amar and night to night reveals/chauah knowledge.

The Abary word naba/H5042 has the root word 'nab' which means 'prophecy' and 'bah' which means 'swell/spring'

Naba: Utter, pour, flow, send & belch



Nab: Floursih, fruit, prophecy



Bah: Swell, Spring, Heap



Day to/la Day...the Abary letter 'lamed/la' is a shepherds staff and means 'lead/toward'....there is a deep spiritual meaning hidden in this verse. The Day is physical leading/lamed to the Day which is spiritual

Rev 1:10  I came to be in the RUACH on the Day of יהוה, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet, 

The physical day ushers or leads to the spiritual day which is the Day of Yahuah. The Day to/lamed Day naba/prophecy (nab) springs (bah) words/amar. He who has ears let him hear.

Night/laylah to/lamed Night/laylah reveals/chauah knowledge/daath

The Abary word 'chauah' is the same word for Eve/Chauah חַוָּה H2332 which also has root words 'chay/chu' which means 'life' and chauah also means 'to declare/reveal H2331'

Gen 3:20 Now the man called the name of his wife Chauah חַוָּה H2332 (Eve), because she was the mother of all the living

Again a deep spiritual truth hidden in this verse 2 of Psalms 19 which shows the physical night points or leads to the spiritual night/darkness when the woman was deceived and declares the darkness that fell on mankind.

 Gen 1:2 And the earth came to be formless and empty, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Elohim was fluttering/rachapah on the face of the waters.
Gen 1:3 And Elohim said, “Let light come to be,” and light came to be.
Gen 1:4 And Elohim saw the light, that it was good. And Elohim separated/badal H914 between/bayan H996 the light from the darkness.
Gen 1:5 And Elohim called the light ‘day’ and the darkness He called ‘night.’ And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the day/yom one/achad.

Shaul defines what this LIGHT was… 2Co 4:6 For Elohim, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts for the enlightening of the knowledge of the esteem of Elohim in the face of יהושע Messiah. Before Yahuah Aluahym made anything he foreordained the light of his knowledge be manifested through the face of Yahusha ha Mashiyach and he foreordained the separation/badal bayan/between the sons to be arrayed in the light and darkness. Before the timekeepers came his LIGHT shone creation on YOM ACHAD (Day ONE) and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Joh 1:4  In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
Joh 1:5  And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

1Ti 2:14  And Aḏam was not deceived, but the woman, having been deceived, fell into transgression. 

1Ti 2:15  But she shall be saved in childbearing if they continue in belief, and love, and set-apartness, with sensibleness. 

The woman was deceived first and fell into transgression but she shall be SAVED IN CHILDBEARING

Rev 12:1  And a great sign was seen in the heaven: a woman clad with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. 

Rev 12:2  And being pregnant, she cried out in labour and in pain to give birth. 
Rev 12:5  And she bore a male child who was to shepherd all nations with a rod of iron. And her child was caught away to Elohim and to His throne.

Chauah/Eve is a type and represents the Bride of the Man Yahusha i.e. New Yerushalam. Yahusha is the firstborn over all creation (Col 1:15) and spiritually when He said ''Let there be light'' (Gen 1:3) he dispelled the darkness that came about by the act of the woman in declaring his coming forth as her seed in childbearing....hence we see him both as the husband of the woman as she was brought forth from him as well as her seed as he was brought forth from her womb in virgin conception by the power of his Ruach.

Eph 5:28  In this way husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 
Eph 5:29  For no one ever hated his own flesh, but feeds and cherishes it, as also the Master does the assembly. 
Eph 5:30  Because we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. 
Eph 5:31  “For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” 
Eph 5:32  This secret is great, but I speak concerning Messiah and the assembly. 

Eph 5:33  However, you too, everyone, let each one love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she fears her husband. 



We see the first day mentioned in Genesis 1 when everything seemed to be submerged under the darkness of the deep Yahuah Aluahym brought forth the Light of the knowledge of himself to SHINE through the face of Yahusha ha Mashiyach in TIME and hence 1st day is a Shabbat because of the surety of the works being finished before the foundation of the worlds. Yahuah Aluahym rested on the 7th day Gen 2:2 because Gen 2:1 says Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their hosts/tsaba.

The heavens and the earth are the SPIRITUAL i.e. the heavenly Yerushalam. 

Gen 2:4  These are the births of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that יהוה Elohim made earth and heavens.

The heavens and the earth (spiritual) were created in the day Yahuah Aluahym made the earth and the heavens (physical). The Day lamed/to Day nab/prophecy bah/springs words...and one needs spiritual eyes to see the ushering into the spiritual day and the Night lamed/to Night chauah/declares knowledge. The progression of the Day and Night from physical to spiritual leads one to New Yerushalam where there are no timekeepers there and above all there is no NIGHT THERE.


Rev 21:22  And I saw no Dwelling Place in it, for יהוה Ěl Shaddai is its Dwelling Place, and the Lamb. 
Rev 21:23  And the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine in it, for the esteem of Elohim lightened it, and the Lamb/sah is its lamp. 
Rev 21:24  And the gentiles, of those who are saved, shall walk in its light, and the sovereigns of the earth bring their esteem into it. 
Rev 21:25  And its gates shall not be shut at all by day, for night/laylah shall not be there

Abary word for sun is ‘shamash’ H8121 which have the root words ‘sham’ which means ‘breath’ and ‘mash’ which means ‘draw out’….each time the sun rises and sets, it’s a spiritual reminder of our breath going to be masha/drawn out of this world one day. The Abary word for ‘moon’ is ‘yarach’ H3394 where ya is the yod/hand and ‘rach’ means ‘travel’ …the appointed times were nothing but a travel of following his yod/hand (arm of Yahuah who is Yahusha) to reach the destination. Once one reaches the destination he is beyond the sun & moon calendar in the Ruach on the Day of Yahuah.

Yasharal never observed any of the appointed times outside of the land and our scattering to the ends of the earth show that the appointed times find their fulfillment in Yahusha. Our land is New Yerushalam and that’s where we must desire to go not holding to Tokens/AUT H226 anymore but the Alaph Tau H853 himself.

Pslams 19:3 There is no word/amar H562, nor words/dabaryam H1697; Their voice is not heard.

The Pslamist calls for spiritual hearing and seeing because looking at them physically one cannot see/understand because ''Their voice is NOT HEARD'' he says.

Psa 19:4  Their line/qauam H6957 has gone out through all the earth, And their words/malah to the end of the world. In them/ba ham He set up a tent for the sun, 
Psa 19:5  And it is like a bridegroom/chatan H2860 coming out of his man/ kind of H4480 room/chapah H2646, It rejoices like a strong man to run the path. 
Psa 19:6  Its rising is from one end of the heavens, And its circuit to the other end; And nothing is hidden from its heat. 

The Abary word for 'line' is 'qu H6957' which means 'a measure/cord'




Zec 1:16  ‘Therefore thus said יהוה, “I shall return to Yerushalayim with compassion. My house shall be built in it,” declares יהוה of hosts, “and a surveyor’s line/qu H6957 be stretched out over Yerushalayim.” ’ 
Zec 1:17  “Again proclaim, saying, ‘Thus said יהוה of hosts, “Again My cities shall overflow with goodness. And יהוה shall again comfort Tsiyon, and shall again choose Yerushalayim.

A cord he uses to measure Yerushalam. The letter 'quph' represents 'sun and the moon on the horizon' and the 'uau' meaning enjoin  in the word 'qu' would find it's enjoining with Yahuah himself and not a solar or lunar calendar as some suggest. Because the sun here is likened to a bridegroom coming out of a kind/man H4480 of his room and running it's course


Mal 4:1  “For look, the day shall come, burning like a furnace, and all the proud, and every wrongdoer shall be stubble. And the day that shall come shall burn them up,” said יהוה of hosts, “which leaves to them neither root nor branch. 
Mal 4:2  “But to you who fear My Name the Sun/shamash H8121 of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings. And you shall go out and be scattered/push H6335 like calves/agalay H5695 from the stall. 

The sun/shamash H8121 is likened to Yahusha the bridegroom coming out of his chamber/room as a strong man rejoicing to run the path of a CIRCLE with nothing hidden from it's path scorching all those outside the covenant with burning like a furnace, burning all the proud and the wrong doer as a stubble. Verse 2 of Mal 4 says ''....And you shall go out and be scattered like calves/agal H5695 and this same word agal H5696 means 'circular/round' shows the elect of Yahusha being scattered on the circle of the earth.

Rev 16:8  And the fourth messenger poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given to him to burn men with fire. 

Rev 16:9  And men were burned with great heat, and they blasphemed the Name of Elohim who possesses authority over these plagues. And they did not repent, to give Him esteem. 

Those outside the covenant will be scorched with severe heat turning them to stubble as Malachi 4:1 says while the elect will be covered by the shamash/sun of righteousness with healing in his wings even though they are scattered

While Psa 19:3 says there is no word, and there are no words, Their voice is not heard their line/qu has  gone out through all the earth and their words to the end of the world. Ba/In ham/waters He set up a tent/ahal for the sun/shamash

Psa 19:4  Their line/qauam H6957 has gone out through all the earth, And their words/malah to the end of the world. In them/ba ham He set up a tent for the sun

Thus we see the ruach hidden in the letter, the Sun of righteousness hidden in the sun.  The physical's voice is not heard, there is no word and words but their line/qu is gone out through all the earth and their words to the end of the world. He who has ears let him hear. The physical Day was made to usher us into the Day of Yahuah.

Just as man is not from woman but woman from man even so Shabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath and Yahusha is the Master, the Man and the Master of Shabbat.

1Co 11:8  For man is not from woman, but woman from man. 

1Co 11:9  For man also was not created for the woman, but woman for the man. 


Mar 2:27  And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.
Mar 2:28 “So the Son of Aḏam is also Master of the Sabbath.

Col 1:17 says ‘He is before all things and by him all hold together’ and Col 1:15 says he is the firstborn over all creation. In the order he is before ADAM, the heavenly man just as it says in Gen 1:1 In the beginning Elohim created the alaph tau heavens and the alaph tau earth.
and Gen 2:1 ‘Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their hosts/tsaba’

He is also the LAST ADAM as stated in 1 Corin 15:45 And so it has been written, “The first man Aḏam became a living being,” the last Aḏam a life-giving Spirit.

Everything else falls in BETWEEN/Bayan in a DIVISION/Badal. 

Daud by the Ruach is showing what the handiwork of the heavens reveal/witness in the rest of the verses 


Psa 19:7  The Torah of יהוה is perfect, bringing back the being; The witness of יהוה is trustworthy, making wise the simple; 
Psa 19:8  The orders of יהוה are straight, rejoicing the heart; The command of יהוה is clear, enlightening the eyes; 
Psa 19:9  The fear of יהוה is clean, standing forever; The right-rulings of יהוה are true, They are righteous altogether, 
Psa 19:10  More desirable than gold, Than much fine gold; And sweeter than honey and the honeycomb. 
Psa 19:11  Also, Your servant is warned by them, In guarding them there is great reward. 
Psa 19:12  Who discerns mistakes? Declare me innocent from those that are secret, 
Psa 19:13  Also keep Your servant back from presumptuous ones, Do not let them rule over me. Then shall I be perfect, and innocent of great transgression. 
Psa 19:14  Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be pleasing before You, O יהוה, my rock and my redeemer.
