The Revelation to the Shepherds

 ܢ ܡܛܪܬܐ ܕܠܠܝܐ ܥܠ ܡܪܥܝܬܗܘܢ

8 Now, Rautha {Shepherds} were there in that athra {region} that they were lodging, and they were keeping watch there at night, over maryathhun {their flocks}.

ܘܗܐ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܐܬܐ ܠܘܬܗܘܢ ܘܬܫܒܘܚܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܐܢܗܪܬ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܘܕܚܠܘ ܕܚܠܬܐ ܪܒܬܐ
9 And behold, The Malaka d’Alaha {The Heavenly Messenger of God} came to them, and The Theshbukhtheh d’MarYa {The Glory of The Lord-YHWH} anharath {shone} upon them, and they feared with a dekhlatha rabtha {a great fear}!

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܠܐ ܬܕܚܠܘܢ ܗܐ ܓܝܪ ܡܣܒܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܚܕܘܬܐ ܪܒܬܐ ܕܬܗܘܐ ܠܟܠܗ ܥܠܡܐ
10 And the Malaka {The Heavenly Messenger} said unto them, “Don’t fear, for behold! I declare The Hope unto you! A khadutha rabtha {a great joy} which will be for all the alma {world}.

ܐܬܝܠܕ ܠܟܘܢ ܓܝܪ ܝܘܡܢܐ ܦܪܘܩܐ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܒܡܕܝܢܬܗ ܕܕܘܝܕ
11 For, unto you is born yawmana {today}, in The Madintheh d’Dawiyd {The City of David}, The Pharuqa {The Saviour/The Deliverer}, who is MarYa Meshikha {The Lord-YHWH, The Anointed One}.

ܘܗܕܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܐܬܐ ܡܫܟܚܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܥܘܠܐ ܕܟܪܝܟ ܒܥܙܪܘܪܐ ܘܣܝܡ ܒܐܘܪܝܐ
12 And this is an atha {a sign} for you: You will find an ula {an infant/baby}, who is wrapped in azrure {swaddling clothes}, and lying in an urya {a manger}.”

ܘܡܢ ܫܠܝ ܐܬܚܙܝܘ ܥܡ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܚܝܠܘܬܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ ܕܫܡܝܐ ܟܕ ܡܫܒܚܝܢ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ
13 And suddenly {lit. from the quiet/calm}, The Khaylautha Sagiye d’Shmaya {The Great Army of the Heavens} appeared with The Malaka {The Heavenly Messenger}, while mashabkhiyn {giving praises} unto Alaha {God}, and saying,

ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܒܡܪܘܡܐ ܘܥܠ ܐܪܥܐ ܫܠܡܐ ܘܣܒܪܐ ܛܒܐ ܠܒܢܝܢܫܐ
14 “Theshbukhtha d’Alaha b’amrume {Glory unto God in the Heights}, and on the Ara {the Earth}, Shlama {Peace}, and Sabra Taba {Good Hope} unto the banaynasha {the sons of men}!”

15 And it happened, that when The Malake {The Heavenly Messengers} had departed from their presence unto the Shmaya {the Heavens}, the Rautha {the Shepherds} talked one with the other, and said "Let us journey up to Beth-Lekhem {Bethlehem lit. The House of Bread}, and let us see this matter that happened, as MarYa {The Lord-YHWH} has made known unto us."

The great army of the heavens Aramaic word is Khaylautha חילותא

Strongs H2428 חיל is translated as wall, host, able, wealth, army, valour

Abary uses the word hamun which means legion instead of chayil . It’s interesting to see that the Aramaic word Sagiye which means great, the Abary word used is tsaba which means hosts.

Aramaic uses Khaylautha Sagiye

Saga in Hebrew means increase, large , magnify, grow

It says they appeared with the Malaka

The Aramaic word used for ‘appeared’ is (alaph tau)את  (chazayu)חזיו

So the Messenger/ Malak seen with the Khaylautha Sagiye / large army was in chazayu. Chazun means Revelation as the Book of Revelation is called in Hebrew.
This is synonymous with

Heb 1:6  And when He again brings the first-born into the world, He says, “Let all the messengers of Elohim do reverence to Him.”

Heb 1:7  And of the messengers indeed He says, “… who is making His messengers spirits and His servants a flame of fire.”

The appearance of this MESSENGER was a revelation of who He was, ie. The baby born in a stable
He is YAHUAH, the MALAK who appeared in the wilderness, the Rock that followed them.

Here they have listed word for word for Aramaic with Hebrew spelling.

The Aramaic says they were shouting praises
The word used is משבח which means refrain from moving and be calm.
It was an awe moment for both the armies of hosts and the shepherds as they saw their Yahuah whom they saw as a Messenger but now in the human form.

The shepherds said Marya/Yahuah has made known to us
The words ‘has made known to us is ‘ אורע’

Which has aur/light and aura is the event they saw right before their eyes. The whole thing was a vision/chazayu.

Made known to them that the one born in the manger/ same word without the ayin but with a yod and alaph

אוריא

The light/aur seen with the eye/ayin was now before them in a manger/auriya.

The appearance/ ריא or רא

9And look, a messenger of יהוה stood before them, and the esteem of יהוה shone around them, and they were greatly afraid.

10And the messenger said to them, “Do not be afraid, for look, I bring you good news of great joy which shall be to all people.

11“Because there was born to you today in the city of Dawiḏ a Saviour, who is Messiah, the Master.

12“And this is the sign to you: You shall find a baby wrapped up, lying in a feeding trough.”

13And suddenly there was with the messenger a crowd of the heavenly host praising Elohim and saying,

14“Esteem to Elohim in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased!”

15And it came to be, when the messengers had gone away from them into the heaven, that the shepherds said to each other, “Indeed, let us go to Bĕyth Leḥem and see this matter that has taken place, which the Master has made known to us.”

The esteem of Yahuah shone around them when the Messenger appeared

The Messenger’s words spoken were as from Yahuah’s mouth.

The Aramaic says this:

ܕܡܪܝܐ ܐܢܗܪܬ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܘܕܚܠܘ ܕܚܠܬܐ ܪܒܬܐ
9 And behold, The Malaka d’Alaha {The Heavenly Messenger of God} came to them, and The Theshbukhtheh d’MarYa {The Glory of The Lord-YHWH} anharath {shone} upon them, and they feared with a dekhlatha rabtha {a great fear}!

The Aramaic here uses the word תשבוחתה which is translated as esteem/glory and is related to the word we saw shabach rooted in it , which means esteem/praise/still

The vision was amazing as the Messenger was speaking suddenly out of the calm. Notice Aramaic says this

Shal means ‘pertaining to/owned by’ the yod suffix makes it ‘mine/my’
The next word we saw was alaph tau ‘chazayu’ which means ‘vision or revelation’

The verse should read

13, And from/man (man also means kind of the same group ) My/sheli alaph tau revelation/chazayu to the people /am the Messenger with the Khaylautha/ hosts  Sagiye/great d’Shmaya/ at the door of heavens while/ khad mashabkhiyn/in the awe of praises unto Alaha/Aluahym and saying,

Put together: And from My alaph tau revelation to the people, the Messenger with the great hosts at the door of the heavens who while in the awe praised Aluahym saying

The Messenger came with the esteem of Yahuah, while the Messenger lied as a babe in the manger. So the One who came, came in the revelation of who the babe is in testifying in a vision.

We saw the similarities in the words ‘made known to us’ and the word manger.

Remember in the OT Yahuah proclaimed His name before Masha when He gave the second set of tablets to Masha as the first one he destroyed. This was an imagery of the renewed covenant given to Yasharal in Mashiyach where Yahuah will Himself announce His coming

Exo 34:5  And יהוה came down in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the Name, יהוה.
Exo 34:6  And יהוה passed before him and proclaimed, “יהוה ,יהוה, an Ěl compassionate and showing favour, patient, and great in loving-commitment and truth,
Exo 34:7  watching over loving-commitment for thousands, forgiving crookedness and transgression and sin, but by no means leaving unpunished,a visiting the crookedness of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.”

When He again brings the firstborn into the world He declared “Let all the messengers of Yahuah worship Him”

Khaylautha also has the root words chay which means life and chal means bore/hole/pain/common.

Yahusha came out with the life immortal hidden in an unapproachable light
He came among the common to bear the pain of the common

A carnal interpretation would see a bunch of angels singing and then flying back to heaven, but it’s like the picture of multiple tongues in one voice. The shepherds heard the voice of the Malak as well as the song of the malakim confessing their Yahuah just as at Sinai. Same voice and voices proclaiming Yahuah.

The whole pattern is understood in this

Cherub’s bowing down at the mercy seat, Kepha says angels desire to learn from

1Pe 1:12  to whom it was revealed that they were serving, not themselves, but you, in these matters which now have been announced to you through those who brought the Good News to you by the Set-apart Spirit sent from heaven – into which messengers long to look into.

Who is seated on the mercy seat?

1Ti 3:16  And, beyond all question, the secret of reverence is great – who was revealed in the flesh, declared right in Spirit, was seen by messengers, was proclaimed among nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in esteem.

Luke 2 shows Yahuah who told Masha that He would proclaim the name of Yahuah fulfilled it at the appearing in flesh as a man. The second set of tablets shows the renewal.

Lastly the Aramaic clearly states that the one born Savior is Marya ie. Yahuah Mashiyach

Whereas the English translations dilute Yahuah to lord from Greek kurios for lord. The Hebrew translation uses ADON instead of Yahuah
