Rib or side of Adam?

Gen 2:20  So the man gave names to all livestock, and to the birds of the heavens, and to every beast of the field. But for the man there was not found a helper for him, as his counterpart.

Gen 2:21  So יהוה Elohim caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept. And He took one of his ribs/tsalathyu H6763 , and closed up the flesh in the same place/tachathna H8478.

Gen 2:22  And the alaph tau the rib/ha tsala H6763 which יהוה Elohim had taken from the man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.

Gen 2:23  And the man said, “This for all time/paam H6471  is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. This one is called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of man.”

Gen 2:24  For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

Gen 2:25  And they were both naked, the man and his wife, yet they were not ashamed.

Traditionalists teach us that Chauah was made from one of Adam's ribs and they translate the word tsala H6763 as rib

The usage of this word 'tsala' is unique and its meaning is 'limp (as in favoring one side), side, chamber, board, corner, another, beam, halting, leaves, planks, halt, adversity| {str: H6760 6761, 6763}

Here are a few scriptures where the word is used:

Exo 25:12  “And you shall cast four rings of gold for it (ark of the covenant), and put them in its four corners, two rings on one side/tsala H6763, and two rings on the other side/tsala H6763

Exo 26:20  “And for the second side/tsala H6763 of the Dwelling Place, on the north side, twenty boards,

Exo 26:26 And you shall make bars of shittiym wood; five for the boards of the one side/tsala H6763 of the Tabernacle,
Exo 26:27 And five bars for the boards of the other side/tsala H6763 of the Tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side/tsala H6763 of the Tabernacle, for the two sides westward.

Everywhere in Torah and other places the usage of the word is to show 'an equal side, equal placing of boards & planks (1 Kings 6:8, 15-16), equal design in the side (1Kings 6:34), equal side chambers (Exe 41:5) etc.

Dan 7:5  “And see, another beast, a second, like a bear. And it was raised up on one side and had three ribs/alayan H5967, in its mouth between its teeth. And they said this to it, ‘Arise, devour much flesh!’

The Chaldee word for 'rib' is 'alay' (ayin lamed ayin) H5967 which is a root word in tsala (tsady lamed ayin hay) and that is why probably why translators placed the word 'rib/s' when it came to Chauah/Eve being taken from Adam which is incorrect. It should be correctly translated as 'parts'  in Daniel 7:5 & even though it could mean 'ribs' it is part of the side & not the side itself, the same word in Abary H5966 is translated as 'suck' in Ayob 39:30

Job 39:30  And its young ones suck/alay H5966 up blood. And where the slain are, there it is!”

tsala H6763:

tsad/tsady is the nun i.e. the seed which is dormant or in a sleeping position

lah H3930 means throat or the neck portion

Pro 23:2  And put a knife to your throat/la H3930 If you are a man given to appetite.

Where does the side of a body begin from? The neck/throat portion. and that is what Paleo Hebrew also shows that Yahuah placed Adam into a deep sleep and cut out his side to form Chauah. While we will look closely at how Chauah was formed, we need to first understand that 'tsala' doesnt mean 'rib' but 'side' as we saw in the Torah portions and due to lack of time I haven't mentioned all the scriptures.

Let's come back to Gen 2:21-22 with the words rib/s replaced with 'side'

Gen 2:21 So Yahuah Elohim caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his sides/tsalathyu and closed up the flesh in the same place

Gen 2:22 Yahuah Elohim built/banah H1129 into a woman the side/tsala which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man

in Gen 2:22 the word 'banah' is diluted in English to mean 'made/formed' whereas in Abary the word means 'to build'

Few examples where the word 'banah' is used:

Gen 4:17  And Qayin knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Ḥanoḵ. And he built/banah a city, and called the name of the city after the name of his son, Ḥanoḵ.

Gen 8:20  And Noaḥ built/banah an altar to יהוה, and took of every clean beast and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

Gen 10:11  From that land he went to Ashshur and built/banah Ninewĕh, and Reḥoḇoth Ir, and Kelaḥ,

This is clear evidence that Yahuah cut out the side portion of Adam when he put him to deep sleep and built on it to make a woman and brought her to the man (Gen 2:22)

Gen 2:21 shows what he did to Adam '....He took one of his sides/tsalathyu and closed up/sagar the flesh in the same place'

sagar H5462: A primitive root; to shut up; figuratively to surrender: - close up, deliver (up), give over (up), inclose, X pure, repair, shut (in, self, out, up, up together), stop, X straitly.

Sag means turning of direction

Gar H1616 means sojourner, stranger and is the root word in 'garah' H1626 which means a small weight

This shows that shutting up or closing up of the flesh at the side was a change of direction/in a diverse measure and Yahuah would have done this for both of them. While scriptures are silent on how Yahuah did it for Adam would also not have known for he was put into a deep sleep but its definite that the other half /side of both Adam and Chauah was made from clay/mud.

We must understand the difference between a creation, description & narration:

Gen 1:26-27 is a creation.

Gen 1:26  And Elohim said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the livestock, and over all the earth and over all the creeping creatures that creep on the earth.”
Gen 1:27  And Elohim created the man in His image, in the image of Elohim He created him – male and female He created them.

Gen 5:1-2 is a narrative account giving the details that happened when Adam and Chauah were created. He made both the man and the woman at the same day

Gen 5:1  This is the book of the generation of Aḏam. In the day that Elohim created man, He made him in the likeness of Elohim.
Gen 5:2  Male and female He created them, and He blessed them, and called their name ‘Aḏam’ in the day they were created.

Gen 2 account is the description, that they were created separately but again as per creation the SAME DAY but its evidence at different intervals for it was still the SIXTH DAY and the SEVENTH DAY He rested from all His works

Gen 2:1  Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their array.
Gen 2:2  And on the seventh day Elohim completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.
Gen 2:3  And Elohim blessed the seventh day and set it apart, because on it He rested from all His work which Elohim in creating had made.

Gen 2 begins with showing the rest Yahuah took and moves on to the narration of the SIXTH DAY creation event of the man and the woman for it says 'MALE and FEMALE He created them'

Midrash is an evil narrative as so many Rabbi's have jotted their thoughts differently which are completely carnal. One narrative of Midrash says in Bereishit Rabbah 17:8, Rashi 2:21, Ibn Ezra 2:21, Rambam Moreh Nevuchim 2:30, Ralbag 2:21). This follows the opinion in the Talmud (Brachot 61a) that Adam and Eve were initially created as a single being – with male and females halves. God determined that it was “not good” that man be a complete unit – feeling he is perfect and needs no one else, and so God turned His creation into two incomplete halves (see Rashi to Genesis 2:18). This is nonsense and many are teaching this. Another opinion says God initially created Adam with an extra rib so it could be used for this purpose (Targum Yonatan, Arbarbanel).  These are opinions of men. There are many other opinions given in Targum's and Midrash by Rabbi's like Even was made from Adam's penis bone which is not even worth looking at.

Coming back to the description in Gen 2:

Gen 2:7  And יהוה Elohim formed the man out of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils breath of lives/chayim. And the man became a living being/nephesh chayah.

Gen 2:7 refutes the rabbinical view of Adam in two halves male and female for Gen 2:7 says And the man became a living being/nephesh chayah. He was singluar being. The first part of the verse says Yahuah Aluahym into his nostrils breath of LIVES and the lives here is plural as Adam was the first man & representative of the whole human race and hence holder of breath of all human lives including Chauah's/Eve's.

Gen 2:18  And יהוה Elohim said, “It is not good for the man to be alone, I am going to make a helper for him, as his counterpart.”
Gen 2:19  And from the ground/adamah H127 יהוה Elohim formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name.
Gen 2:20  So the man gave names to all livestock, and to the birds of the heavens, and to every beast of the field. But for the man there was not found a helper for him, as his counterpart.

We see Yahuah Aluahym made all the beast of the field and birds of the heavens from the ground just as He had created Adam. He then brought them to Adam to see what he would call them and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. This couldn't be possible on the 7th day as it was a day of rest and Yahuah rested from all His works. This couldn't be on the 8th day as we read in the narrative account that Yahuah created them on the same day

Gen 5:1  This is the book of the genealogy of Aḏam. In the day that Elohim created man, He made him in the likeness of Elohim.
Gen 5:2  Male and female He created them, and He blessed them, and called their name ‘Aḏam’ in the day they were created.

Hence, it must be the same day but at different intervals.

Gen 2:21  So יהוה Elohim caused a deep sleep/tardamah H8639 to fall on the man, and he slept. And He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.

Tar means border: Tau Resh. Tau is the mark and Resh is the head

damah: damah has the root word 'dam' which means blood. One of the meanings of 'damah' means silence

The resh's boundary is marked and he is silenced within it to bring forth his likeness whom he was equal with in comparison. That is the paleo Hebrew picture

We get a clue on what time was Adam put into a deep sleep and the division of his side portion? We get this clue from Abraham's account, but first we can see from other scriptures at what time the deep sleep came

Twice in the book of Ayob it says deep sleep falls on men at night

Job 4:13  Amid thoughts from visions of the night, when deep sleep/tardamah falls on men,

Job 33:15  in a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep/tardamah falls upon men, while slumbering on a bed,

In Daud's account where he had the opportunity to kill king Shaul, he refused to touch the anointed of Yahuah and took the spear and jug of water by Shaul's head, and Shaul and his soldiers were into a deep sleep/tardamah which was fallen upon them by Yahuah.

1Sa 26:7  And Dawiḏ and Aḇishai came to the people by night and saw Sha’ul lying asleep within the camp, with his spear stuck in the ground by his head, and Aḇnĕr and the people lay all around him.

1Sa 26:12  So Dawiḏ took the spear and the jug of water by Sha’ul’s head, and they went away. And no man saw it or knew it or awoke, for they were all asleep, because a deep sleep/tardamah from יהוה had fallen on them.

Hence, it is understood that the deep sleep from Yahuah fell on him during sunset. And that was the time Chauah was built from Adam's side, while it was still the sixth day, coz with the rise of the sun the next day would dawn the Shabbath. Chauah was built and formed clean as Turah requires one to remain in an unclean state until evening. Though the Turah came written later, the qodesh requirements of Turah were time bound from creation. And who formed Chauah from the side of Adam? Yahuah who had entered creation in a form as a man. In His wisdom he cut out at a time which kept Chauah as well as Himself clean to enter His Shabbath rest the next day.

Lev 11:24  ‘And by these you are made unclean, anyone touching the carcass of any of them is unclean until evening,
Lev 11:25  and anyone picking up part of the carcass of any of them has to wash his garments, and shall be unclean until evening.

Adam would have been created in the morning as Yahusha is a type of Adam who was to come

Rom 5:14  But death reigned from Aḏam until Mosheh, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Aḏam, who is a type of Him who was to come.

Rev 22:16  “I, יהושע, have sent My messenger to witness to you these matters in the assemblies. I am the Root and the Offspring of Dawiḏ, the Bright and Morning Star.”

While the Bright and Morning star is figurative, Yahusha is also called as Sun of righteousness with healing in his wings. His comparison with the Sun shows that the fleshly man who was created was created in the morning and failed, while the type of him who was to come i.e. Yahusha the last Adam became a life giving Ruach, the Bright and Morning Star, the Sun of Righteousness.

Abraham's account:

Gen 15:7  And He said to him, “I am יהוה, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it.”
Gen 15:8  And he said, “Master יהוה, whereby do I know that I possess it?”
Gen 15:9  And He said to him, “Bring Me a three-year-old heifer, and a three-year-old female goat, and a three-year-old ram, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.”
Gen 15:10  And he took all these to Him and cut them in the middle, and placed each half opposite the other, but he did not cut the birds.
Gen 15:11  And the birds of prey came down on the carcasses, and Aḇram drove them away.
Gen 15:12  And it came to be, when the sun was going down, and a deep sleep/tardamah H8639 fell upon Aḇram, that see, a frightening great darkness fell upon him.
Gen 15:13  And He said to Aḇram, “Know for certain that your seed are to be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them, and they shall afflict them four hundred years.
Gen 15:14  “But the nation whom they serve I am going to judge, and afterward let them come out with great possessions.
Gen 15:15  “Now as for you, you are to go to your fathers in peace, you are to be buried at a good old age.
Gen 15:16  “Then, in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the crookedness of the Amorites is not yet complete.”

Abraham was asked to bring 5 clean animals and 3 he cut into 2 halves and the birds he didn't cut into two halves. Again we see a deep sleep falling on Abraham when the sun was going down. Abraham was in a trance as in his deep sleep, he was still able to hear why he is going through this deep sleep. Abraham was told that his seed would be 400 years in affliction. In our previous studies we have seen that this 400 years began with Abraham sojourning in the land of Kenaan as a pilgrim/sojourner, whilst His seed was actually in Mitsrayim for 215 years.

You may read this study  here:

https://dsouzashodan72.blogspot.com/2013/10/was-israel-400-years-or-430-years-in.html

An extract summary from the study:

The time from Abraham's call to Yaaqob/Jacob's entry into Egypt was 215 years, being the total of :

(1) twenty five years lying between Abraham's call and the birth of Yitasaq/Issac (Gen 21:5) Abraham was 75 years when departed from Haran and 100 years old when Yitsaq/Isaac was born

Gen 12:4  So Aḇram left, as יהוה had commanded him, and Lot went with him. And Aḇram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Ḥaran.

Gen 21:5  And Aḇraham was one hundred years old when his son Yitsḥaq was born to him.

 (2) Yitsaq/Issac was sixty years when Yaaqob/Jacob was born (Genesis 25:26), and

Gen 25:26  And afterward his brother came out, with his hand holding on to Ěsaw’s heel, so his name was called Yaʽaqoḇ. And Yitsḥaq was sixty years old when she bore them.

(3) the age of Yaaqob/Jacob at the time of his migration into Egypt (Genesis 47:9) i.e. he was 130 years.

Gen 47:9 And Yaʽaqoḇ said to Pharaoh, “The days of the years of my sojournings are one hundred and thirty years. Few and evil have been the days of the years of my life, and they have not reached the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their sojournings.”

This leaves the remaining 215 years of the 430 as the actual time the Hebrews spent in Mitsyarim/Egypt. Hence the 430 years of Exodus 12:40 includes the sojourn of the patriarchs in Canaan as well as their stay in Egypt.

Simple maths of 215 years : From Abraham's entry into Canaan (75 when he left Haran) to the birth of Yitsaq/Isaac was 25 years (100 years when Yitsaq/Isaac was born), Genesis 12:4; 17:1-21;

Yitsaq/Isaac was 60 years old at the birth of Yaaqob/Jacob, Genesis 25:26; and Yaaqob/Jacob was 130 at his going down into Mitsyarim/Egypt, Genesis 47:9; the sum makes 215 years. And then Yaaqob/Jacob and his children having continued in Egypt 215 years more, the whole sum of 430 years is regularly completed.
25+60+130=215
The other 215 years is as follows:
1. Yahusaph/Joseph was 30 years when he stood before Pharaoh
7 years of plentiful had passed. That makes him 37. (Gen 41:54)

Gen 41:46  Now Yosĕph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh sovereign of Mitsrayim. And Yosĕph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Mitsrayim.
2 years of famine had already passed when Yahusaph reveals himself to his brothers (Gen 45:6) and asks him to bring his father Yaaqob into Mitsrayim.
Gen 45:6  “For two years now the scarcity of food has been in the land, and there are still five years in which there is neither ploughing nor harvesting.
That makes him 39 years (37 +2)
Yahusaph dies at 110 years (Gen 50:26)
Gen 50:26  And Yosĕph died, being one hundred and ten years old. And they embalmed him, and he was placed in a coffin in Mitsrayim.
Yasharal lived in Egypt for 286 years at the time of the death of  Yoseph/Joseph 215+71 (110-39) =286.
Only 64 years pass from the time Yoseph dies to when Masha/Mosheh was born.
Exo 7:7  Now Masha was eighty years old and Aharon eighty-three years old when they spoke to Pharaoh.
2) The time that Yasharal lived in Egypt was 430 years. (Ex. 12:40) was from Gen 12:1-4.

Yasharal lived in Egypt for 430 - 80 (Moses's age) = 350 years (at the time of Moses birth) and Yahusaph's/Yoseph's death to birth of Moses 350-286=64

But didn't we read Yahuah telling Abraham that his seed will be afflicted for 400 years?

Its simple to understand. With Abraham's sojourning included its 430 as we saw above i.e. from him being called at 75

But with the promised seed's affliction i.e. Yitshaq, as he was mocked by Yishmael was when Yitshaq was weaned. The age of weaning was 5 years old

25 years after Abraham left Haran (when he was 75 years old) Isaac was born (i.e. when he was 100 years old) and when Isaac was 5 years old (weaned). So 25+5=30 and hence, 430-30=400.

400 years holds 8 jubilees/yobel's where the seed was in sojourning in Kenaan + Mitsrayim as servants/slaves.

Gen 5:4  And after he brought forth Shěth, the days of Aḏam were eight hundred years. And he brought forth sons and daughters.
Gen 5:5  So all the days that Aḏam lived were nine hundred and thirty years, and he died.

Below is the chart depicting the lifespan's of the fathers overlapping each other showing
2000 years from Adam to Abraham. We don't take the exit years of the fathers as they overlap, but the age of their father when they were born. Example: We begin by calculating as follows: Adam was 130 years when Seth was born and Seth was 105 years when Enosh was born, and Enosh was 90 years when Cainan was born etc. We add all the ages to see that Abraham was born 1948 years from creation

Below is the list of genealogy accounting to 4000 years from Adam to Mashiyach:

There are 2 important portions where we must understand the calculation-marked in amber below in the chart:

1. Noach was 500 years when Shem, Ham and Yapeth were born

Gen 5:32  And Noaḥ was five hundred years old, and Noaḥ brought forth Shĕm, Ḥam, and Yepheth.

Shem was the youngest and is placed as firstborn in the lineage. Hence, Noach would have been 502 years when Shem was born. How do we get this? Noach was 600 years when the flood waters were on the earth and Shem would have been 98 years old, for scripture says Shem was 100 years old when Arphaxad was born 2 years after the flood.

Gen 7:6  Now Noaḥ was six hundred years old when the flood-waters were on the earth

Gen 11:10  This is the genealogy of Shĕm: Shĕm was a hundred years old and brought forth Arpaḵshaḏ, two years after the flood.

Hence, we deduct 602 (Noach's age when Arphaxad was born) -100 years when Shem was born i.e. 502.

Gen 9:28  And Noaḥ lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.
Gen 9:29  So all the days of Noaḥ were nine hundred and fifty years, and he died.

I haven't mentioned Shem in the genealogy chart and hence, calling it out

What is interesting to see is Adam lived 930 years and was alive until Lamech who was born when Methuselah was 187 years (874 years from creation)

Gen 11:26  And Teraḥ lived seventy years, and brought forth Aḇram, Naḥor, and Haran.

It says Abram, Nahor & Haran born when Terah was 70 years (Gen 11:26).

From what we studied, we saw Yasharal was 400 years in slavery as shown to Abraham when he was put into a deep sleep. And these 400 years began when Yitshaq was weaned at 5 years, when the carnal seed Yishmael persecuted him by mocking him. (25 + 5)
The 430 years includes from Abraham when he was 75 and departed from Haran. Let's take 75 years when Abraham departed from Haran and add it from 1948 to arrive at 2023.

Why are we adding ? Because as showed in Matthew's genealogy, we see Abraham's genealogy being in a descent to Mashiyach being born.

To 2023 we will add 430 years to arrive at the Exodus (Yasharal departing from Mitsrayim) i.e. 2453

1Ki 6:1  And it came to be, in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Yisra’ěl had come out of the land of Mitsrayim, in the fourth year of the reign of Shelomoh over Yisra’ěl, in the new moon of Ziw, which is the second new moon, that he began to build the House of יהוה.

2453 + 480 = 2933 when Shelemoh started to build the temple. He built it for 7 years. Hence, 2933 +7 = 2940

1Ki 6:37  In the fourth year the foundation of the House of יהוה was laid, in the month Ziw.
1Ki 6:38  And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, the eighth new moon, the house was completed in all its matters and according to all its plans. Thus he built it for seven years.

1060 BC he completed to build the house of Yahuah (4000 years from Adam to Yahusha - 2940 = 1060 BC)

Gal 3:16  But the promises were spoken to Aḇraham, and to his Seed. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,”who is Messiah. Footnote: Also see Gen_17:7, Gen_22:18, Gen_24:7.
Gal 3:17  Now this I say, Torah, that came four hundred and thirty years later, does not annul a covenant previously confirmed by Elohim in Messiah, so as to do away with the promise.
Gal 3:18  For if the inheritance is by Torah, it is no longer by promise, but Elohim gave it to Aḇraham through a promise.

Shaul the emissary says that the Torah cannot annul the covenant Yahuah made to Abraham through a promise. The promise was of the promised see that would come. Remember the Abary word for deep sleep? 'Tardamah'

In Galatians 3:16 the promised SEED was Mashiyach, hence, we see a descent genealogy from Abraham to Yahusha ha Mashiyach (Matthew 1) and a descent genealogy from Yahusha to Adam (Luke 3). The opposite descent genealogy shows that He is the ladder on which the Messengers ascended and descended upon. The marked Resh.

40 jubilee years from Adam to Abraham's promised seed Yitshaq (1948 when Abraham was born (38.96 jubilees), he was 100 years when Yitshaq was born (40.96 jubilees , 5 years when Yitshaq was mocked by carnal seed completed 41 jubilees & 6 years with 1 year to enter Shemitah). Both Adam and Abraham went through 'tardamah' (deep sleep)
40 jubilee years from Abraham to Messiah where Messiah went through 'tardamah' (deep sleep)
40 jubilees years from Messiah to Yasharal in New Yerushalam where we in Mashiyach went through the awakening from 'tardamah' (deep sleep) to identify ourselves with the death of Mashiyach. The wise virgins slept with the foolish.

Matt25:5 “When the groom delayed in coming, all of them became drowsy and feel into a deep sleep/tardamanah.”

The Resh marked is Yahusha who is the SEED, the covenant was CONFIRMED not MADE fresh with Abraham (Gal 3:17). It was made with the cut out side of Adam, called the WOMAN whom Adam named 'Chauah' which means 'Life giver' H2332

Gen 3:15  “And I put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed. He shall crush your head, and you shall bruise His heel.”

Coming back to Gen 15 where the covenant was confirmed by an action post a promise. Abraham was in a deep sleep (Tardamah)

Gen 15:9  And He said to him, “Bring Me a three-year-old heifer, and a three-year-old female goat, and a three-year-old ram, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.”

Gen 15:10  And he took all these to Him and cut them in the middle/tuak H8432, and placed each opposite the other, but he did not cut the birds.

Gen 15:17  And it came to be, when the sun went down and it was dark, that see, a smoking oven and a burning torch passing between those pieces.

Tuak H8432 doesnt necessarily means center but also means 'among/between/into/out of'

The smoking furnance & fiery flame went through those pieces, while scripture is silent what happened to those dead clean animals post the smoking furnance & fiery flame going through the pieces, Yahuah was showing Abraham that He is bound with him with a covenant to bring forth the Promised Seed who is Mashiyach, whereas Yitshaq was just a type. And that He would divide asunder Himself with the Sword of His Ruach in bringing forth the One only ISHI/Husband out of whom His bride was cut out to receive her breath of life from Him. Remember Adam was breathed into the 'breath of lives'.
Adam lay on the ground with his right side cut out to make his other side from the clay (closed up the flesh) and the cut out portion was built upon (banah H1129, Gen 2:22) and not created to make her into a woman.

Shaul said this is a great mystery of Mashiyach and his bride

Eph 5:30  Because we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.
Eph 5:31  “For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”

When Chauah was brought forth of Adam, if she was just made of a rib, Adam would have just said "This is bone of my bones" as there was no flesh in the cutting out. But Adam said

Gen 2:23  And the man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. This one is called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of man.”
Gen 2:24  For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

We are of His flesh and of His bones shows that when Yahuah cut out Chauah from Adam who held the breath of lives picked up his breath from Adam and the likeness of his sinful flesh though his body was heavenly and not earthy. Yahusha's bride was cut out from the etsem/body or bone from heaven as an image we are conformed to.

Rom 8:3  For the Torah being powerless, in that it was weak through the flesh, Elohim, having His own Son in the likeness of flesh of sin, and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh,

Heb 10:5  Therefore, coming into the world, He says, “Slaughtering and meal offering You did not desire, but a body You have prepared for Me.

Rev 21:9  And one of the seven messengers who held the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and spoke with me, saying, “Come, I shall show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.”
Rev 21:10  And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the set-apart Yerushalayim, descending out of the heaven from Elohim,

How do we relate to Mashiyach as his cut out bride? This is clearly understood that He is Ruach

2Cor3:17 Now the Adon is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Adon is, there is freedom.

He took on flesh and bones

Php 2:6  who, being in the form of Elohim, did not regard equality with Elohim a matter to be grasped,
Php 2:7  but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, and came to be in the likeness of men.
Php 2:8  And having been found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, death even of a stake.

Yahuah had divorced his bride for adultery

Jer 3:8  “And I saw that for all the causes for which backsliding Yisra’ĕl had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a certificate of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Yehuḏah did not fear, but went and committed whoring too.

Speaking about the SEED who was promised which the Torah 430 years later couldn't annul the covenant previously confirmed by Aluahym we see Shaul the emissary speaking of the death of the husband who by his death releases His wife from the oath of marriage as per Torah, to remarry her after being raised from the dead, tying her to back to from where she was taken from whilst He breathed into Adam the breath of lives.

Rom 7:1  Or do you not know, brothers – for I speak to those knowing the Torah – that the Torah rules over a man as long as he lives?
Rom 7:2  For the married woman has been bound by Torah to the living husband, but if the husband dies, she is released from the Torah concerning her husband.
Rom 7:3  So then, while her husband lives, she shall be called an adulteress if she becomes another man’s. But if her husband dies, she is free from that part of the Torah, so that she is not an adulteress, having become another man’s.
Rom 7:4  So my brothers, you also were put to death to the Torah through the body of Messiah, for you to become another’s, the One who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to Elohim.
Rom 7:5  For when we were in the flesh, the passions of sins, through the Torah, were working in our members to bear fruit to death.
Rom 7:6  But now we have been released from the Torah, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in newness of Spirit and not in oldness of letter.

And with Shaul speaking of the confirmation of the covenant with Abraham, we see the fiery torch going through the midst of the animals of sacrifice showing the separation and joining back figuratively as He was the One and final sacrifice who is also termed as the last ADAM

1Co 15:45  And so it has been written, “The first man Aḏam became a living being,” the last Aḏam a life-giving Spirit.

2Co 5:19 To wit, that YAHUAH was in Mashiyach, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their transgressions unto them; and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Shalum!
