Jer 1:11 And it came to be/Uyahay the Word/Dabar of YAHUAH saying, Yirmeyahu, what do you see? And I said, I see a rod/maqalah H4731 of an almond/shaqed H8247.
Jer 1:12 Then said YAHUAH unto me, You have well seen: for I will hasten my word/dabar H1697 to perform it.
YermeYahu was a nabi sent at a time when Yahudah was in apostasy and were designated for the Babylonian captivity for their rebellion.
Jer 1:14 Then YAHUAH said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land
Yasharal was already in dispersion and few from the 10 tribes had crossed over and joined with Yahudah. When YermeYahu is called to be a nabi, the dabar of Yahuah comes to him asking him what he sees, he says he sees a rod of almond.
The word rod is maqalah H4731 and means to germinate; a shoot, that is, stick (with leaves on, or for walking, striking, guiding, divining): - rod, ([hand-]) staff.
This maqalah/rod of shaqed/almond is tied to the rod of Aharon which had budded with almonds
Num 17:2 Speak unto the children of Yashar’el, and take of everyone of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write you את eth-every man's name upon his rod.
Num 17:3 And את eth-you shall write Aharon's name upon the rod/mattah H4294 of Leviy: for one rod/mattah H4297 shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.
Num 17:4 And you shall lay them up in the Tabernacle of the assembly before the testimony, where I will meet with you.
Num 17:5 And it shall come to pass, that the man's rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me את eth-the murmurings of the children of Yashar’el, whereby they murmur against you.
Num 17:6 And Mosheh spoke unto the children of Yashar’el, and everyone of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers' houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aharon was among their rods.
Num 17:7 And Mosheh laid up את eth-the rods before YAHUAH in the Tabernacle of witness.
Num 17:8 And it came to pass, that on the morrow Mosheh went into the Tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aharon for the house of Leviy was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.
Num 17:9 And Mosheh brought out את eth-all the rods from before YAHUAH unto all the children of Yashar’el: and they looked, and took every man his rod.
Num 17:10 And YAHUAH said unto El-Mosheh, Bring את eth-Aharon's rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a sign against the sons of rebellion; and you shall quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.
Num 17:11 And Mosheh did so: as YAHUAH commanded him, so did he.
The rod/matah H4297 means figuratively a tribe; also a rod, whether for chastising (figuratively correction), ruling (a sceptre), throwing (a lance), or walking (a staff; figuratively a support of life, for example bread): - rod, staff, tribe.
Num 1:4 And with you there shall be a man of every tribe/matah H4297; everyone head of the house of his fathers.
This word matah first appears in Gen 38, where Yahudah gave his rod/matah along with his signet and bracelets as a pledge till he would give her a kid from the flock. He thought she was a harlot and lied down with her, but she was Tamar his daughter in law and she behaved as a harlot for Yahudah had forgotten his promise to give Shelach his son to be her husband to give her a seed for her dead husband to keep his name alive.
Gen 38:17 And he said, I will send you a kid from the flock. And she said, Will you give me a pledge, till you send it?
Gen 38:18 And he said, What pledge shall I give you? And she said, Your signet, and your bracelets, and your staff/matah H4297 that is in your hand. And he gave it her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him.
Gen 38:19 And she arose, and went away, and laid by her veil from her, and put on the garments of her widowhood.
The second place usage this word appears is at the burning bush when Yahuah reveals His name to Masha and asks him what is in his hand. This rod is termed as the rod of Aluahym
Exo 4:2 And YAHUAH said unto him, What is that in your hand? And he said, A rod/matah H4297.
Exo 4:20 And Mosheh took את eth-his woman and את eth-his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Mitsrayim: and Mosheh took את eth-the rod/matah H4297 of ELOHIYM in his hand.
This was the rod which was used to bring about great wonders in the land of Mitsrayim where they were plagued with various plagues through the hand of Aharon, thus, we see its usage as the rod of chastisement and is also figurative for the tribe
When this rod later came into the hands of Aharon the Levite, Yahuah gave a sign to Yasharal that no one could come near the ark of the covenant except for Aharon and his successor, for Yasharal had rebelled against Yahuah and this rod/matah was a witness against their rebellion as a chastisement
Num 17:10 And YAHUAH said unto Mosheh, Bring את eth-Aharon's rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a sign against the sons of rebellion; and you shall quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.
Num 17:11 And Mosheh did so: as YAHUAH commanded him, so did he.
Num 17:12 And the children of Yashar’el spoke unto Mosheh, saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish.
Num 17:13 Whosoever comes anything near unto the Tabernacle of YAHUAH shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?
Now Aharon and his sons would bear the iniquity of the sanctuary and the iniquity of his priesthood
Num 18:1 AND YAHUAH said unto Aharon, You and your sons and your father's house with you shall bear את eth-the iniquity of the sanctuary: and you and your sons with you shall bear את eth-the iniquity of your priesthood.
Numbers 17 begins after the rebellion of Qorach and his company when his company was swallowed up alive into the heart of the earth. The people the next day had murmured against Masha and Aharon that they had killed the people of Yahuah and a plague broke out among the people and they were dying as Yahuah told Masha that he would consume them all in a moment and Masha fell on his face before Yahuah pleading for them.Moshe then instructed Aharon to make atonement for them. In Numbers 17 Yahuah asks the 12 tribes with their names written to place their rods before the ark and Aharon's rod with his name written was placed also and his rod budded with almonds and leaves so that all people should know that the priesthood was now transferred to Aharon and his sons chosen out from the tribe of Leviy. Not all Leviy's would be priests but the priests would be from the tribe of Leviy.
Num 16:41 But on the morrow all the assembly of the children of Yashar’el murmured against Mosheh and against Aharon, saying, Ye have killed את eth-the people of YAHUAH.
Num 16:42 And it came to pass, when the assembly was gathered against Mosheh and against Aharon, that they looked toward the Tabernacle of the assembly: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of YAHUAH appeared.
Num 16:43 And Mosheh and Aharon came before the Tabernacle of the assembly.
Num 16:44 And YAHUAH spoke unto Mosheh, saying,
Num 16:45 Get you up from among this assembly, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.
Num 16:46 And Mosheh said unto Aharon, Take את eth-a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the assembly, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from YAHUAH; the plague is begun.
Num 16:47 And Aharon took as Mosheh commanded, and ran into the midst of the assembly; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on את eth-incense, and made an atonement for the people.
Num 16:48 And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.
Num 16:49 Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Qorach.
Num 16:50 And Aharon returned unto Mosheh unto the door of the Tabernacle of the assembly: and the plague was stayed.
What is interesting to see is the word blossoms is tsiyts H6731 the blossoms/tsiyts were almonds/shaqed
Num 17:8 And it came to pass, that on the morrow Mosheh went into the Tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aharon for the house of Leviy was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms/tsiyts H6731, and yielded almonds.
The shaqed/almonds shapes bowls were in the Menorah/candle stick which held the olive oil
Exo 25:32 And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the menorah out of the one side, and three branches of the menorah out of the other side:
Exo 25:33 Three bowls made like unto almonds/shaqed H8246, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the menorah.
Exo 25:34 “And on the lampstand itself are four cups made like almond flowers, with ornamental knob and blossom,
Three almond shaped bowls in the six branches which came out of the middle branch, and the middle branch itself had 4 almond shaped bowls (verse 34 above). The almond shaped bowls when counted were 22.The Abaryt language has 22 letters which form the language and the mysteries of Yahuah are hidden in the language and unfolded through the Ruach of nabuoth (Spirit of Prophecy).
This rod termed as matah/rod of chastisement or rod of support or branch is called maqalah which means to germinate/shoot forth pointing to Mashiyach whose everlasting priesthood would shoot forth as the blossoms/tsyists from it bringing forth life. This same rod is called as shebet as well as ets in scripture which we will look at little later.
Gen 32:9 And Yaʽaqoḇ said, “O Elohim of my father Aḇraham and Elohim of my father Yitsḥaq, יהוה who said to me, ‘Return to your land and to your relatives, and I do good to you,’
Gen 32:10 “I do not deserve the least of all the kind acts and all the truth which You have shown Your servant, for I passed over this Yardĕn with my staff/maqalah H4731, and now I have become two groups.
Gen 32:11 “Deliver me, I pray, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Ěsaw, for I fear him, lest he come and shall smite me and the mother with the children.
Gen 32:12 “For You said, ‘I shall certainly do good to you, and shall make your seed as the sand of the sea, which are too numerous to count.’ ”
Scripture interchangeably uses the words matah and maqalah for the rod and is the rod of royal Malchitsedeq priesthood from the royal blood line as per the promise. Whoever falls into the order will be part of the priesthood and whoever don't under the wrath.
Psa 110:1 A Mizmor of David. - YAHUAH said unto my Yahuah, Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.
Psa 110:2 YAHUAH shall send the rod/matah H4294 of your strength out of Tsiyon: rule in the midst of your enemies.
Psa 110:3 Your people shall be willing in the day of your power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: you have the dew of your youth.
Psa 110:4 YAHUAH has sworn, and will not repent, You are a priest forever after the order/dibrah H1700 of Malkiy-Tsedeq.
The Jewish Talmud and book of Yasher state that this rod was a branch from the tree of life passed down through the garden of Eden from Adam when Yahuah drove him and his wife out from the garden of Eden, this rod went down to the descendant Malchitedeq priests and that this was the same rod in the hand of Masha who gave it to Aharon which budded the almond blossoms/tsyits. While we don't trust outside the scripture texts we see within scripture that this was in the hand of Yaaqob who says that he crossed the Yarden with his staff/maqalah and now became two groups/houses. It was prophetic of the coming two houses of Yasharal i.e.Yahusaph who represents Yasharal and Yahudah to whom the promise was made that Mashiyach would spring forth from them.
We already saw the scripture where Yahudah gave the rod/matah along with his bracelets and the signet as a pledge to his daughter in law Tamar (Gen 38:18). This couldn't be this rod as he would have lost his birthright for trading it to a harlot. This rod would late come to his seed as per the promise mentioned in Genesis 49
The writer of Hebrews mentions that Yaqqob blessed both the sons (Ephraim and Manasseh) of Yoseph before his death and he bowed down on the top of his matah/staff before his death but Genesis 48 doesn't record anywhere that Yaaqob bowed down on the top of his staff but mentions that he gave Yahusaph one portion above his brothers, which shows that the rod of Aluahym was given to Yahushaph at the time of his death which came to Masha's hand as he stood as prince of Mitsrayim but with the understanding of his calling to deliver Yasharal out of the house of bondage.
Heb 11:21 By faith, Ya’aqob blessed both the sons of Yoseph before his death, and bowed down on the top of his staff/matah.
Gen 48:22 “And I, I have given to you one portion above your brothers, which I took from the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.”
Yaaqob still had his staff/maqalah with him at the time of his death, so the rod Yahudah had was a different tribal headship rod/matah in his hand which he gave Tamar as a pledge
We see the staff/matah of Aluahym finally in the hands of Dawid who was a descendant of Boaz the Yahudite and Ruth the Ephrathite. This access to the rod would have given to him by Samuel when he was chosen as king in place of Shaul.
1Sa 17:39 And David girded את eth-his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved it. And David said unto Sha’ul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him.
1Sa 17:40 And he took his staff/maqalah H4731 in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Pelishtiy.
While many ignore the fact about the importance of this staff/rod as it also has a general usage as shepherds use a rod/staff and also every tribal head of the house had a rod/staff as a sign of his headship over his house, we must not ignore the fact of the importance of this Malchitsedeq rod as it was prophesied that the Mashiyach would come from these two tribes. Here are the prophecies.
Yahudah:
Gen 49:8 Yahudah, you are he whom your brethren shall praise: your hand shall be in the neck of your enemies; your father's children shall bow down before you.
Gen 49:9 Yahudah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, you are gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?
Gen 49:10 The sceptre/shebet H7626 shall not depart from Yahudah, nor a Torah giver from between his feet, until Shiyloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
Gen 49:11 Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:
Gen 49:12 His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.
shebet H7626 From an unused root probably meaning to branch off; a scion, that is, (literally) a stick (for punishing, writing, fighting, ruling, walking, etc.) or (figuratively) a clan: - X correction, dart, rod, sceptre, staff, tribe.
Gen 49:28 All these are the twelve tribes/shebet H7626 of Yashar’el: and this is it that their father spoke unto them, and blessed them; everyone according to his blessing he blessed them.
These are the words of Balaam the false prophet who had beaten his ass with the staff/maqal and the donkey speaking in the voice of a man drove the madness of the prophet. The maqalah/staff was also in the hands of a false prophet who was a pretender of having the staff of Yahuah with him.
Num 24:17 “I see Him, but not now; I observe Him, but not near. A Star shall come out of Yaʽaqoḇ, and a Sceptre/shebet H7626 shall rise out of Yisra’ĕl, and shall smite the corners of Mo’aḇ, and shall destroy all the sons of Shĕth.
Coming back to the Abaryt word shebet, we see its usage interchangeably as the words matah and maqalah represents the tribe or an off shoot. But its usage in the tribe Yahudah and Yahusaph is unique and tied to Mashiyach.
Yahusaph:
Gen 49:22 “Yosĕph is an offshoot of a fruit-bearing/parah H6509 son/ben, an offshoot of a fruit-bearing/parah H6509 son/ben by a fountain, his branches/bath H1323 run over a wall.
Gen 49:23 “And the archers have bitterly grieved him, shot at him and hated him.
Gen 49:24 “But his bow remained in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the Mighty One of Yaʽaqoḇ – from there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Yisra’ĕl –
Gen 49:25 from the Ěl of your father who helps you, and by the Almighty who blesses you with blessings of the heavens above, blessings of the deep that lies beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb.
Gen 49:26 “The blessings of your father have excelled the blessings of my ancestors, up to the limit of the everlasting hills. They are on the head of Yosĕph, and on the crown of the head of him who was separated from his brothers.
The word bath means branches, it also means daughter. The prophecy states that he is the fruit bearing son twice by a fountain and his daughters/branches run over the wall, which means he has one portion above his brothers and from here is the stone of Yasharal. Though here there is no usage of the word matah, maqalah and shebet but the Abaryt word parah is used twice showing a double portion growth/bearing/bringing forth, the branches relating to the tree run over the wall coming back into the inheritance.
The two thousand cubits:
Num 35:1 And יהוה spoke to Mosheh in the desert plains of Mo’aḇ by the Yardĕn of Yeriḥo, saying,
Num 35:2 “Command the children of Yisra’ĕl that they shall give the Lĕwites cities to dwell in from the inheritance of their possession. Also give the Lĕwites open land around the cities.
Num 35:3 “And they shall have the cities to dwell in, and their open land for their cattle, and for their herds, and for all their livestock.
Num 35:4 “And the open land of the cities which you give the Lĕwites are from the wall of the city outward a thousand cubits all around.
Num 35:5 “And you shall measure outside the city on the east side two thousand cubits, and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits. And the city is in the middle. This is to them the open land for the cities.
Num 35:6 “And the cities which you give to the Lĕwites are the six cities of refuge, which you give to him who killed someone to flee to, and to these you add forty-two cities.
Jos 3:2 And it came to be, after three days, that the officers went into the midst of the camp,
Jos 3:3 and they commanded the people, saying, “When you see the ark of the covenant of יהוה your Elohim, and the priests, the Lĕwites, bearing it, then you shall set out from your place and follow it.
Jos 3:4 “Only, keep a distance between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure. Do not come near it, so that you know which way to go, for you have not passed over this way before.”
The Torah clearly asked all other 11 tribes to maintain a distance of 2,000 cubits from the ark, that is why Yahuah also commanded all the tribes to give the Levites from the wall habitation in a 2,000 cubits radius on all sides i.e. north, south, east and west. Hence, its evident that once Yerushalayim was a fortified city and the temple built in it, the 2,000 cubits from the ark of the covenant would be inhabited by them, thousand cubits within the city and thousand from the wall of the city. (Num 35:4).
It was prophesied of Yoseph that his branches would run over the wall. What a beautiful picture showing that Yoseph because of the rod given to him by Yaaqob at his death would come forth over riding the carnal Torah which allowed the Levitical priesthood access to the place for a time being. Ephraim representing the 10 tribes of Yasharal in dispersion would come back into the camp into the Malchitsedeq priesthood. The staff is one/echad but represented by two tribes from where Mashiyach would sprout forth from.
There is further proof of the two staff's mentioned in Ezekiel 37. Here are the scriptures:
Eze 37:16 “And you, son of man, take a stick/ets H6086 for yourself and write on it, ‘For Yehuḏah and for the children of Yisra’ĕl, his companions.’ Then take another stick/ets H6086 and write on it, ‘For Yosĕph, the stick of Ephrayim, and for all the house of Yisra’ĕl, his companions.’
Eze 37:17 “Then bring them together for yourself into one stick, and they shall become one in your hand.
Eze 37:18 “And when the children of your people speak to you, saying, ‘Won’t you show us what you mean by these?’
Eze 37:19 say to them, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “See, I am taking the stick of Yosĕph, which is in the hand of Ephrayim, and the tribes of Yisra’ĕl, his companions. And I shall give them unto him, with the stick of Yehuḏah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in My hand.” ’
Eze 37:20 “And the sticks on which you write shall be in your hand before their eyes.
Eze 37:21 “And speak to them, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “See, I am taking the children of Yisra’ĕl from among the gentiles, wherever they have gone, and shall gather them from all around, and I shall bring them into their land.
Eze 37:22 “And I shall make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Yisra’ĕl. And one sovereign shall be sovereign over them all, and let them no longer be two nations, and let them no longer be divided into two reigns.
Eze 37:23 “And they shall no longer defile themselves with their idols, nor with their disgusting matters, nor with any of their transgressions. And I shall save them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and I shall cleanse them. And they shall be My people, and I be their Elohim,
Eze 37:24 while Dawiḏ My servant is sovereign over them. And they shall all have one shepherd and walk in My right-rulings and guard My laws, and shall do them.
Eze 37:25 “And they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Yaʽaqoḇ My servant, where your fathers dwelt. And they shall dwell in it, they and their children and their children’s children, forever, and My servant Dawiḏ be their prince forever.
Yahuah uses the word ets H6086 translated here as 'stick'. Ets also means 'tree'
ets H6086 a tree (from its firmness); hence wood (plural sticks): - + carpenter, gallows, helve, + pine, plank, staff, stalk, stick, stock, timber, tree, wood.
The picture is of a rod which is a matah/maqalah/shebet/ets in the hands of Yahudah and Yahusaph whose seed represent the One Malchitsedeq priesthood of Yahusha who will spring forth in bringing and making both these rods/staff as ONE in his hand.
Mat 1:1 The book of the genealogy of יהושע Messiah, Son of Dawiḏ, Son of Aḇraham:
Mat 1:2 Aḇraham brought forth Yitsḥaq, and Yitsḥaq brought forth Yaʽaqoḇ, and Yaʽaqoḇ brought forth Yehuḏah and his brothers.
Mat 1:3 And Yehuḏah brought forth Perets and Zeraḥ by Tamar, and Perets brought forth Ḥetsron, and Ḥetsron brought forth Ram.
Heb 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there takes place a change of law also.
Heb 7:13 For He of whom this is said belongs to another tribe, from which no one had attended at the altar.
Heb 7:14 For it is perfectly clear that our Master arose from Yehuḏah, a tribe about which Mosheh never spoke of concerning priesthood,
Heb 7:15 and this is clearer still, if another priest arises in the likeness of Malkitseḏeq,
Gen 49:10 “The sceptre/shebet H7626 shall not turn aside from Yehuḏah, nor a Lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes, and to Him is the obedience of peoples.
The sceptre/tribe/stick/rod/staff wouldn't turn aside from Yahudah until Mashiyach represented by the name Shiloh, whose name means 'that which belongs to him' would come. The writer of Hebrews speaks about a change of priesthood and a change of a law, a tribe which Masha never spoke concerning priesthood. We saw Ezekiel using the word ets which also means a tree.
Rev 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life/ets chayim, which bore twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the shooting forth/aleh of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Yahuchanan sees two trees/ets of life/chayim on the either side of the river whose aleh were for the healing of the nations. The Abaryt word aleh also means something which comes forth from the tree like leaves/branches/fruits. The two trees of life in an imagery stand for the house of Yahusaph and Yahudah which actually are echad/one in the hand of Yahuah. This oneness happened through Mashiyach who sprang forth from these two tribes. Let's continue to see the Mashiyach lineage
Mat 1:5 And Salmah begat את eth-Bo`az of Rachav; and Bo`az begat את eth-Oved of Ruth; and Oved begat את eth-Yishai;
Mat 1:6 And Yishai begat את eth-David the king; and David the king begat את eth-Shalomah of her that had been the woman of Uriyahu;
Boaz was a Yahudite who married Ruth who was a widow of Machlon the Ephrathite and Boaz gave her the seed to keep the dead man Machlon's name alive in Yasharal. Thus Dawid their offspring is also called as a son of that Ephrathite whose name was Yishai.
1Sa 17:12 Now Dawiḏ was the son of that Ephrathite of Bĕyth Leḥem in Yehuḏah, whose name was Yishai, and he had eight sons, and in the days of Sha’ul the man was old among men.
Though the kingdom split in the reign of his grandson's era i.e. Rehaboam, yet in the hands of Yahuah both the tribes were as one stick and that's what Ezekiel prophecy is unfolding to us the plan of Yahuah. Its just from mans perspective they all saw the two sticks, two kingdoms but Yahuah who calls the end from the beginning calls them as One stick.
Zec 11:7 So I shepherded the flock meant for slaughter, the truly poor of the flock. And I took for myself two staffs/maqalah H4731, the one I called Pleasantness, and the other I called Unity, and I shepherded the flock.
ZacharYah speaks of the two staff's/maqalah which are both the house of Yasharal and Yahudah called as Pleasantness and Unity which he would break, showing a scattering into the nations where Ezekiel speaks of bringing them back and making them One stick again
Zec 11:10 And I took my staff, Pleasantness, and cut it asunder/gada H1438, to break the covenant which I had made with all the peoples.
gada H1438 means to fell a tree/hew down
Zec 11:14 Then I cut asunder/gada H1438 את eth-my other staff, את eth even Bands, that I might break את eth-the brotherhood between Yahudah and Yashar’el.
The remnant enjoined to these two trees of life in Mashiyach would be healed of their Gentile wildness.
Isa 11:1 And a twig shall come forth from the stump of Yishai, and a Sprout/natsar H5342 from his roots shall bear fruit/parah H6509 .
Remember, we read Dawid was the son of that Ephrathite of Beth Lechem of Yahudah Yishai. So, here we see Mashiyach coming forth as a sprout/branch (natsar) from his roots. Yishai's roots include both the houses of Yahusaph and Yahudah.
There is evidence that the tree of life and tree of knowledge of good and evil in midst of the garden of Eden from where Adam was driven away and not given the right to eat of it was the exact place where the temple in Yerushalayim was built. After driving them out of the garden of Eden, Yahuah placed the two cherubims with flaming sword guarding the way to the tree of life.
Gen 3:24 and He drove the man out. And He placed keruḇim at the east of the garden of Ěḏen, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.
Genesis 3:24 gives us information that Yahuah placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, which means Adam and Chauah were driven out from the east side of the garden. It is believed that the altar on which Cain and Hebel sacrificed was called the mikphad altar where the sin offering was offered which was the place of worship within the 2,000 cubits from the center of the garden of Eden facing the east.
Post killing his brother Hebel, Cain was driven further away from the place of the summit (worship) and he went and dwelt in the land of Nod which means exile.
Gen 4:15 And יהוה said to him, “Well, if anyone kills Qayin, vengeance is taken on him sevenfold.” And יהוה set up a sign for Qayin, lest anyone finding him kills him.
Gen 4:16 So Qayin went out from the presence of יהוה and dwelt in the land of Noḏ on the east of Ěḏen.
Cain knew that he was being driven away from the place of summit, away from the face of Yahuah and hence he was marked with a mark (aut). The mikhpad altar was on mount of Olives where later the red heifer (adam parah) sacrifice was offered.
Gen 4:14 “See, You have driven me from the face of the ground today, and I am hidden from Your face. I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth, and it shall be that anyone who finds me kills me.”
The Sabbath had an instruction that the worshiper couldn't go beyond the place of the summit and thus we see the ascension of Yahusha was on a Sabbath day and his ascension place was within the parameters of the summit. Acts 1:12 records that the talmidim went back to Yerushalayim from the Mount of Olives which was near Yerushalayim, a Sabbath day's journey.
Act 1:12 Then they went back to Yerushalayim from the Mount of Olives, which is near Yerushalayim, a Sabbath day’s journey.
It was designed and woven in Torah to keep the worshiper within the parameter on Sabbath day. They were not allowed to travel beyond this point.
The confirmation of the imagery where Cherubims were overshadowing the mercy seat from where Yahuah's esteem dwelt over the ark of the covenant came written in Torah. The ark of the covenant had the rod of Aharon which budded with almonds, the tablets of the covenant and the manna in the golden pot.
Heb 9:4 to which belonged the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that held the manna, and the rod of Aharon that budded, and the tablets of the covenant,
When we read 1Kings 8 we read that the manna and the rod of Aharon which budded missing.
1Ki 8:7 for the keruḇim spread two wings over the place of the ark, and the keruḇim covered over the ark and its poles.
1Ki 8:8 And the poles extended so that the ends of the poles were seen from the set-apart place, in front of the Speaking Place, but they were not seen from outside. And they are there to this day.
1Ki 8:9 There was naught in the ark, only the two tablets of stone which Mosheh put there at Ḥorĕḇ, where יהוה made a covenant with the children of Yisra’ĕl, when they came out of the land of Mitsrayim.
2Ch 5:10 There was naught in the ark but the two tablets which Mosheh put there at Ḥorĕḇ, when יהוה made a covenant with the children of Yisra’ĕl, when they came out of Mitsrayim.
During the reign of Shalamoh the ark of the Covenant was missing the pot with the hidden manna and the rod of Aharon which budded. Something happened in the days of his father which scripture is silent about. We can figure out that Dawid's son Absalom stole the hearts of the people of Yasharal and proclaimed himself as king over Yasharal. Dawid and his men fled from Absalom and Tsadoq (Zadok) and the Lewites followed him bearing the ark of the covenant of Aluahym, this was an indication that Absalom wanted to end the Tsadoq priesthood by taking over the staff of Yahuah. Moreover, the Levite officers were given the responsibility of guarding the ark of the covenant and its elements and that's why Tsadoq with all Levites came bearing the ark
2Sa 15:23 And all the land was weeping with a loud voice, and all the people were passing over. And the sovereign himself was passing over the wadi Qiḏron, and all the people were passing over toward the way of the wilderness.
2Sa 15:24 And see, Tsaḏoq also came, and all the Lĕwites with him, bearing the ark of the covenant of Elohim. And they set down the ark of Elohim, and Eḇyathar went up until all the people completed passing over from the city.
2Sa 15:25 And the sovereign said to Tsaḏoq, “Take the ark of Elohim back to the city. If I find favour in the eyes of יהוה, then He shall bring me back and show me both it and His dwelling.
2Sa 15:26 “But if He says thus, ‘I have not delighted in you,’ here I am, let Him do to me as seems good in His eyes.”
2Sa 15:27 And the sovereign said to Tsaḏoq the priest, “Are you not a seer? Return to the city in peace, and your two sons with you, Aḥimaʽats your son, and Yehonathan son of Eḇyathar.
2Sa 15:28 “See, I am waiting in the desert plains of the wilderness until word comes from you to inform me.”
2Sa 15:29 And Tsaḏoq and Eḇyathar took the ark of Elohim back to Yerushalayim, and they remained there.
2Sa 15:30 And Dawiḏ went up by the ascent of the Mount of Olives, and wept as he went up. And he had his head covered and went barefoot. And all the people who were with him covered their heads and went up, weeping as they went up.
2Sa 15:31 And Dawiḏ was informed, saying, “Aḥithophel is among the conspirators with Aḇshalom.” And Dawiḏ said, “O יהוה, I pray You, make the counsel of Aḥithophel foolish!”
2Sa 15:32 And it came to be that Dawiḏ came to the summit/rosh H7218, where he bowed himself before Elohim, and saw Ḥushai the Arkite, coming to meet him with his robe torn and dust on his head.
Tsadoq is asked by Dawid to take the ark back to Yerushalayim while he himself tarries in the the wilderness, and scripture records in 2Sam 15:30 that Dawid went up to the Mount of Olives and wept as he went up. As a custodian of the rod of Aluahym, he couldn't carry it beyond the place of summit as he was fleeing Absalom. Therefore, Dawid would have hid the rod and the manna on mount of Olives where the rod sprouted as a tree of almond on which Yahusha was impaled. The rod of Masha which went missing came in a prophetic vision to YeremeYahu asking him what he sees, and he saw the same rod of an almond tree. Yahuah tells him that he has seen well and He is watching over His DABAR/word to perform it. Yahusha is the Dabar as stated in John 1:1-2
Jer 23:5 “See, the days are coming,” declares יהוה, “when I shall raise for Dawiḏ a Branch of righteousness, and a Sovereign shall reign and act wisely, and shall do right-ruling and righteousness in the earth.
Jer 23:6 “In His days Yehuḏah shall be saved, and Yisra’ĕl dwell safely. And this is His Name whereby He shall be called: ‘יהוה our Righteousness.
Jer 1:11 And the word of יהוה came to me, saying, “What do you see, Yirmeyahu?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.”
Jer 1:12 And יהוה said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over My word/dabar to do it.”
Scriptures testify that Yahusha was impaled to a tree and not to a cross as portrayed by Christianity.
Gal 3:13 Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the Torah, having become a curse for us – for it has been written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs upon a tree.
1Pe 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we, having died to sins, might live unto righteousness – by whose stripes you were healed
Act 10:39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Yahudiym, and in Yerushalayim; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:
Act 13:29 And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.
Dawid hiding the rod and the manna in Mount of Olives can be further seen that Yahusha in Chazon (Revelation) says that he who overcomes He would give him the right to eat of the tree of life which is in the midst of the garden, He also speaks of giving the hidden manna to those overcoming in HIM
Rev 2:7 He that has an ear, let him hear את eth what the RUACH says unto the called out assemblies; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the garden/gan of YAHUAH.
Rev 22:13 I am the א (Aleph) and the ת (Tav), the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do YAHUAH’S commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Rev 2:17 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I shall give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I shall give him a white stone, and on the stone a renewed Name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” ’
While all the above 3 passages have spiritual meaning of partaking of him, we can't deny that the reference Yahusha ha Mashiyach makes gives us a clue of something being hidden in the Garden which will come to light through partaking of Him. It's amazing to see that the writer of the book of Hebrews says we have an altar, referring to the mikphad altar in the same place where the red heifer (adam parah) and other sin offerings were burnt on the Day of Atonement by the high priest. This altar was built by Adam and Cain and Hebel offered their sacrifice on this altar. Post the flood, Noach offered clean animals as whole burnt offerings on this altar after rebuilding it.
Gen 8:20 And Noach built an altar unto YAHUAH; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
It was here on the mount Moriah where Abraham took his son Yitshaq to offer as a sacrifice and found a ram caught by its horns in the thickets,
Gen 22:2 And he said, Take now את eth-your son, your את eth-yachiyd את eth-Yitschaq, whom you love, and get you into the land of Moriyah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell you of.
Gen 22:9 And they came to the place which Elohim had commanded him, and Aḇraham repaired or set up/yiben THE/HA altar/ mizbeach there and placed the wood in order. And he bound Yitsḥaq his son and laid him on the altar, upon the wood.
yiben is a root verb in banah H1129 which means (begin to) build (-er), obtain children, make, repair, set (up), X surely.
The word ha before the altar in English has been translated as 'an', however its a definite article 'THE' showing us the altar was already there, hence Abraham only set it up or repaired it/yiben.
This altar was on Mount of Olives and was the same place where Yahusha was impaled to the almond tree, the rod which grew to be an almond tree. The place of summit/rosh near this mikphad altar. That is why Abraham named the place Yahuah Yarah which means 'Yahuah will be seen'
Gen 22:14 And Abraham called the name of that place YAHUAH YIREH: as it is said to this day, In the Mount YAHUAH shall be seen.
It was on Mount Moriah that the temple of Yahuah was built, the same place where there was once garden of Eden. The midst being the Most set apart place where the tree of life and tree of knowledge of good and evil were
2Ch 3:1 And Shelomoh began to build the House of יהוה at Yerushalayim on Mount Moriyah, where He appeared to his father Dawiḏ, at the place that Dawiḏ had prepared on the threshing-floor of Ornan the Yeḇusite.
Coming back to the mikphad altar the writer of Hebrews says we have an altar whereof they have no right to eat which serve the Tabernacle. He goes on to show that Yahusha to sanctify the people by his own blood suffered outside the camp.
Heb 13:10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the Tabernacle.
Heb 13:11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
Heb 13:12 Wherefore YAHUSHA also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
Heb 13:13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
When Yahusha was led to be impaled on Mount of Olives, he spoke of the green tree referring to the tree of life where he would be impaled to which signified Himself as he would sprout forth of the rod/branch and the dry tree referring to the tree of knowledge of good and evil which was cursed and dried
Luk 23:28 But יהושע, turning to them, said, “Daughters of Yerushalayim, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.
Luk 23:29 “For look, days are coming in which they shall say, ‘Blessed are the barren, and wombs that never bore, and the breasts which never nursed!’
Luk 23:30 “Then they shall begin ‘to say to the mountains, “Fall on us!” and to the hills, “Cover us!” ’Luk 23:31 “Because if they do this to the green tree, what is going to be done to the dry tree?”
We will look at the two trees in detail The person guilty of death penalty had to bear the Roman cross bar to which he was nailed to a tree on Mount of Olives which was beyond the place of summit facing the east from the Most Set Apart place. Christianity has led people to believe that a hole was dug in the ground where a pole with a cross bar was put into and fastened. The movies also show this. But this is far from truth.
Joh 19:20 Many of the Yehuḏim therefore read this title, for the place where יהושע was impaled was near the city (Yerushalayim), and it was written in Heḇrew, in Greek, in Roman.
Mount of Olives was near the city of Yerushalayim where Yahusha was impaled to.
Tree of knowledge of good and evil:
When we read Hebrews 13 of the altar which we have the right to eat of who have believed in Yahusha ha Mashiyach, those serving inside the Tabernacle have no right to eat of this altar, we understand that the physical elements of Torah came as a judgment to Yasharal as they were so occupied in it that they couldn't see the ruach/spirit in the letter. Hence, the carnal Torah was represented as the Tree of knowledge of good and evil for the Torah was good but would bring forth the evil within mankind and expose them as naked before Yahuah.
Gen 3:6 And the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, and she took of its fruit and ate. And she also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
Gen 3:7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig foliage/aleh together and made loin coverings for themselves.
There is evidence here that the Tree of knowledge of good and evil was a fig tree, as soon as Adam and Chauah knew that they were naked they covered themselves with the leaves of the fig tree. We can find evidence else where in scripture on the fig tree.
Speaking of Yasharal after the flesh Yahusha spoke of a parable likening them to the fig tree
Luk 13:6 And He spoke this parable, “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none.
Luk 13:7 “And he said to the gardener, ‘Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down, why does it even make the ground useless?’
Luk 13:8 “And he answering, said to him, ‘Master, leave it this year too, until I dig around it and throw manure.
Luk 13:9 ‘And if indeed it bears fruit, good. But if not so, you shall cut it down.’ ”
Luk 19:29 And it came to be, when He came near to Bĕyth Phaḡi (house of figs) and Bĕyth Anyah at the mountain of Olives, that He sent two of His taught ones,
Beyth Anyah was the place of the summit and that's where Yahusha ascended into heaven, we already saw in Acts 1:12 that this was the Sabbath day's journey i.e. 2,000 cubits from the place of worship in the temple where the people couldn't go beyond the summit on a Sabbath day.
Luk 24:50 And He led them out as far as Bĕyth Anyah, and lifting up His hands He blessed them.
Luk 24:51 And it came to be, while He was blessing them, that He was parted from them and was taken up into the heaven.
Mar 11:11 And יהושע went into Yerushalayim and into the Set-apart Place. And having looked around on all, He went out to Bĕyth Anyah with the twelve, as the hour was already late.
Mar 11:12 And on the next day, when they had come out from Bĕyth Anyah, He was hungry.
Mar 11:13 And seeing at a distance a fig tree having leaves, He went to see whether He would find any fruit on it. And when He came to it, He found none but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.
Mar 11:14 And יהושע, responding, said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.” And His taught ones heard it
Beyth Phagi means house of figs which was near the place of the summit/rosh of the mount of Olives and finding a fig tree with leaves without fruit Yahusha cursed the fig tree which dried from its roots. Yahuah compares house of Yasharal as the first fruits on the fig tree
Hos 9:10 “I found Yisra’ĕl like grapes in the wilderness. I saw your fathers as the first-fruits on the fig tree in its beginning. They themselves have gone to Baʽal Peʽor, and separated themselves to shame, and became as abominable as that which they loved.
Hos 9:11 “Ephrayim is like a bird, their esteem has flown away – no birth, and none with child, and no conception!
Hos 9:12 “Though they bring up their children, I shall make them childless, without man. For it is woe to them when I turn away from them!
Re 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
This fig tree was near the place of the summit/rosh of Mount of Olives, the place where the mikphad altar is. It represented the house of Yasharal occupied in carnal Torah. It had no place near the altar of Yahuah as the remnant of those in the Torah of life wouldn't be occupied in the letter but the Ruach in the letter, for the letter kills
The covenant Torah came with instructions not to make any carved image of any likeness of that which is in the heavens above or on earth beneath. Yahuah later because of their rebellion against Him in worshiping the golden calf gave the carnal Torah which came with all creature likeness of heavens like cherubim over the mercy seat and walls of the Most Set apart place, almonds in menorah, face of cherub and face of man on the walls of the Most set apart place facing a palm tree etc
Exo 20:2 “I am יהוה your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of slavery.
Exo 20:3 “You have no other mighty ones against My face.
Exo 20:4 “You do not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of that which is in the heavens above, or which is in the earth beneath, or which is in the waters under the earth,
Exo 20:5 you do not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, יהוה your Elohim am a jealous Ěl, visiting the crookedness of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,
Exo 20:6 but showing kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and guard My commands.
The golden calf was made as an image of Yahuah, hence, Yahuah through the prophets gave visions as feet of calves, creatures with eyes in the front, back and all over which were imageries having the Ruach hidden in the letter and Yasharal after the flesh stumbled making images of Yahuah as four footed beasts and birds and every wild imaginations rooted in paganism.
Eze 1:5 and out of the midst of it came what looked like four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man.
Eze 1:6 And each one had four faces, and each one had four wings.
Eze 1:7 And their feet were straight feet, and the soles of their feet were like the sole of a calves’ foot. And they sparkled like the appearance of polished bronze,
Eze 1:8 and under their wings on their four sides were the hands of a man. And each of the four had faces and wings –
Eze 1:9 their wings touched one another. They did not turn when they went, but each one went straight forward.
Eze 1:10 And the likeness of their faces: the face of a man, and each of the four had the face of a lion on the right side, and each of the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and each of the four had the face of an eagle.
Eze 1:11 Such were their faces. Their wings were spread upward, two of each touched one another, and two covered their bodies.
The emissary Shaul speaks of this in the book of Romans
Rom 1:19 because that which is known of Elohim is manifest among them, for Elohim has manifested it to them.
Rom 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible qualities have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, both His everlasting power and Mightiness, for them to be without excuse,
Rom 1:21 because, although they knew Elohim, they did not esteem Him as Elohim, nor gave thanks, but became vain in their reasonings, and their undiscerning heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools,
Rom 1:23 and changed the esteem of the incorruptible Elohim into the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds and of four-footed beasts and of reptiles.
Rom 1:24 Therefore Elohim gave them up to uncleanness in the lust of their hearts, to disrespect their bodies among themselves,
Rom 1:25 who changed the truth of Elohim into the falsehood, and worshipped and served what was created rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amĕn.
The carnal man went after the imageries and made idols and stumbled. And who made the golden calf for them? Aharon as the people asked him to do so.
Exo 32:4 And he/ Aharon took this from their hand, and he formed it with an engraving tool, and made a moulded calf. And they said, “This is your mighty one, O Yisra’ĕl, that brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim!”
Exo 32:5 And Aharon saw and built an altar before it. And Aharon called out and said, “Tomorrow is a festival to יהוה.”
Therefore Yahuah gave them Aharon and his seed (Levitical priesthood) as a mediator-ship, keeping them away from the Malchitsedeq priesthood. The rod custodians were now the Levite priests which the writer of Hebrew says clearly that those who serve the Tabernacle have no right to eat from the altar which we have the right to eat from.
Heb 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the Torah,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Malkiy-Tsedeq, and not be called after the order of Aharon?
Heb 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the TORAH
Coming back to the place of the summit/rosh. This place was also called Golgotha which means place of the skull/head. Rosh is the other word for golgoleth which means head. Ezekiel records in his vision that this was the place of esteem of Yahuah which went up from the midst of the city and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city. We saw that Mount of Olives was on the east of the city.
Eze 11:22 And the keruḇim lifted up their wings, with the wheels beside them, and the esteem of the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl was high above them.
Eze 11:23 And the esteem of יהוה went up from the midst of the city and stood upon the mountain, which is on the east side of the city.
The Brit Chadashah shows us Yahusha spent most of his time here in worship
Luk 21:37 And He was teaching in the Set-apart Place by day, but at night He went out and stayed on the mountain of Olives,
Luk 22:39 And coming out, He went to the Mount of Olives, according to usage, and His taught ones also followed Him.
Luk 22:40 And coming to the place, He said to them, “Pray that you do not enter into trial.”
Joh 8:1 And יהושע went to the Mount of Olives.
Joh 8:2 And at dawn He came again into the Set-apart Place, and all the people were coming to Him. And having sat down, He was teaching them.
The red heifer sacrifice was performed on the summit/rosh of the Mount of Olives where the mikphad altar was, in direct line of sight to the entrance of the Temple on its eastern side. The blood was sprinkled seven times toward the front of the Tent of Meeting.
Num 19:1 And יהוה spoke to Mosheh and to Aharon, saying,
Num 19:2 “This is a law of the Torah which יהוה has commanded, saying, ‘Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, that they bring you a red heifer, a perfect one, in which there is no blemish and on which a yoke has never come.
Num 19:3 ‘And you shall give it to Elʽazar the priest, and he shall bring it outside the camp, and shall slaughter it before him.
Num 19:4 ‘And Elʽazar the priest shall take some of its blood with his finger, and sprinkle some of its blood seven times toward the front of the Tent of Meeting.
Which High priest presided over Yahusha's sacrifice at the summit on the tree of life?
He himself presided over his own sacrifice? How was this possible?
Lev 10:6 And Mosheh said to Aharon, and to Elʽazar and to Ithamar, his sons, “Do not unbind your heads nor tear your garments, lest you die, and wrath come upon all the people. But let your brothers, all the house of Yisra’ĕl, bewail the burning which יהוה has kindled.
Lev 21:10 ‘And the high priest among his brothers, on whose head the anointing oil was poured and who is ordained to wear the garments, does not unbind his head nor tear his garments,
Lev 21:11 nor come near any dead body, nor defile himself for his father or his mother,
When Yahusha stood before Caiaphas (Matt 26:62-65) and Caiaphas tears his clothes-he is no longer high priest because now Yahusha is! Also Yahusha's robe could not be torn-it was woven in one piece! A beautiful picture of Messiah as our High Priest!
Mat 26:62 And the high priest stood up and said to Him, “Have You no answer to make? What do these witness against You?”
Mat 26:63 But יהושע remained silent. So the high priest said to Him, “I put You to oath, by the living Elohim that You say to us if You are the Messiah, the Son of Elohim.”
Mat 26:64 יהושע said to him, “You have said it. Besides I say to you, from now you shall see the Son of Aḏam sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of the heaven.”
Mat 26:65 Then the high priest tore his garments, saying, “He has blasphemed! Why do we need any more witnesses? See, now you have heard His blasphemy!
With Caiaphas tearing his garments, according to Torah he was disqualified as the high priest, and Yahusha stood now as the high priest and his inner garment which was woven from the top in one piece wasn't torn as he was the qualified high priest who now presided over his own sacrifice
Joh 19:23 Then the soldiers, when they had impaled יהושע, took His outer garments and made four parts, to each soldier a part, and the inner garment. But the inner garment was without seam, woven from the top in one piece.
Joh 19:24 So they said to each other, “Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it – whose it shall be,” in order that the Scripture might be filled which says, “They divided My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots.” The soldiers therefore indeed did this.
Heb 9:11 But Messiah, having become a High Priest of the coming good matters, through the greater and more perfect Tent not made with hands, that is, not of this creation,
Heb 9:12 entered into the Most Set-apart Place once for all, not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood, having obtained everlasting redemption.
Heb 9:13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the defiled, sets apart for the cleansing of the flesh,
Heb 9:14 how much more shall the blood of the Messiah, who through the everlasting Spirit offered Himself unblemished to Elohim, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living Elohim?
Heb 9:15 And because of this He is the Mediator of a renewed covenant, so that, death having taken place for redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, those who are called might receive the promise of the everlasting inheritance.
The writer of Hebrews confirms to us that Mashiyach entered the Most Set Apart place with his OWN BLOOD which shows us that he presided over his own sacrifice at the summit.
The beauty of the fulfillment of the menorah branch which had the almond bowls which stood before the veil was fulfilled when Yahusha was impaled to the tree of almonds which grew from the rod of Masha which Dawid hid in the mount of Olives. The two zealot's were impaled on the same tree one on the right and one on the left of Yahusha. Yahusha's body on the tree stood as the center branch of the menorah and his two hands and the two hands each of the zealot's make six branches coming out of the center.
Mat 27:44 And also the robbers/charapu who were impaled with Him reviled Him, saying the same.
At that time zealot's were called bandits, He was numbered with the transgressors shows that Yahusha was likened by the accusation to be a zealot/rebel. If zealots were simple robbers they wouldn't have been impaled to the tree. Only those rebelling against the authority of the Roman government went through the punishment of impaling to a tree until death. For Yahusha the punishment was different than these zealot's, they had accused him of rebellion as well as blasphemy, that's why probably he died earlier than the two zealot's as he was stoned after being impaled to the tree.
Pilate found no guilt in him and declared him innocent, he went on to wash his hands in front of the people.
Mat 27:24 And when Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but rather an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this Righteous One. You shall see to it.”
Deu 21:22 “And when a man has committed a sin worthy of death, then he shall be put to death and you shall hang him on a tree.
Deu 21:23 “Let his body not remain overnight on the tree, for you shall certainly bury him the same day – for he who is hanged is accursed of Elohim – so that you do not defile the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you as an inheritance.
According to Torah one committing a sin worthy of death was to be stoned first and then be hung on the tree but the chief priests and the scribes wanted Yahusha to suffer in pain, hence, they reversed Torah punishment showing that they were not keepers of the Torah punishment even. They only followed the part which says you shall bury him the same day.
Gal 3:13 Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the Torah, having become a curse for us – for it has been written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs upon a tree.
Pilate marveled if Yahusha was already dead, why would he marvel if impaling would kill someone immediately? It is clear from the zealot's hung along with Yahusha that they were still alive and their legs were broken so that they should die of not being able to breathe, while Yahusha was impaled and then stoned to death. This shows the difference of punishment meted out, one for blasphemy and the other two for rebellion but not blasphemy.
Mar 15:44 And Pilate marveled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead.
There is evidence that the place he was impaled was Mount of Olives
Joh 19:41 Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid.
Joh 19:42 There laid they YAHUSHA therefore because of the Yahudiym’s preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.
ZacharYah's vision of the menorah:
Zec 4:1 And the messenger who was speaking to me came back and woke me up as a man is awakened from sleep.
Zec 4:2 And he said to me, “What do you see?” So I said, “I have looked, and see: a lampstand/menorah all of gold with a bowl on top of it, and on the stand seven lamps with seven spouts to the seven lamps.
Zec 4:3 “And two olive trees are by it, one at the right of the bowl and the other at its left.”
Zec 4:4 Then I responded and spoke to the messenger who was speaking to me, saying, “What are these, my master?”
Zec 4:5 And the messenger who was speaking to me answered and said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my master.”
Remember, the bowls were of almonds as showed to Masha, 22 almond bowls in all. The two olive trees giving the golden oil to the menorah/lampstand are the Torah and the Prophets who bore witness of the the central branch which was called the SHAMASH or ATTENDANT. The word shamash is also translated as the Sun and in Malachi 4:2 Yahusha is called as the Sun/Shamash of righteousness with healing in His wings
Mal 4:2 “But to you who fear My Name the Sun/Shamash of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings. And you shall go out and leap for joy like calves from the stall.
Continuing on with the ZacharYah's vision
Zec 4:12 And I responded a second time and said to him, “What are these two olive branches which empty golden oil from themselves by means of the two gold pipes?”
Zec 4:13 And he answered me and said, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my master.”
Zec 4:14 And he said, “These are the two anointed sons, who stand beside the Master/ADON of all the earth.
The Torah and the Prophets (two) through the anointed sons testified of the ATTENDANT who is the ADON of all the earth who would be impaled to the tree of life, whose hands emit the rays where His power is hidden, He is the ATTENDANT giving light to the branches of the menorah/lampstand.
Hab 3:3 Eloah comes from Tĕman, And the Set-apart One from Mount Paran. Selah. His splendour shall cover the heavens, And His praise shall fill the earth.
Hab 3:4 And the brightness is as the light, He has rays from His hand, And there His power is hidden.
The Abaryt word Teman H8486 means southward. Sinai, Teman and Mount Paran were south of Yerushalayim
Deu 33:1 And this is the blessing with which Mosheh the man of Elohim blessed the children of Yisra’ĕl before his death.
Deu 33:2 And he said, “יהוה came from Sinai, and rose from Sĕʽir for them. He shone forth from Mount Paran, and came with ten thousands of set-apart ones – at His right hand a royal decree for them.
Yahusha was impaled on the tree east of the temple on mount of Olives while the city itself was on the sides/coasts of the north
Psa 48:1 Great is יהוה, and greatly to be praised In the city of our Elohim, His set-apart mountain.
Psa 48:2 Pretty on high, The joy of all the earth, Is Mount Tsiyon on the coasts of the north, The city of the great Sovereign.
Isa 14:12 “How you have fallen from the heavens, O Hĕlĕl, son of the morning! You have been cut down to the ground, you who laid low the gentiles!
Isa 14:13 “For you have said in your heart, ‘Let me go up to the heavens, let me raise my throne above the stars of Ěl, and let me sit in the mount of meeting on the sides/coasts of the north;
Shatan desires the throne of Yahuah and his desire to sit in the mount of meeting on the sides of the north is revealed in YashaYahu 14:13
Mount Paran was on the south, this was where Yasharal dwelt in the wilderness of Paran and the Angel of His presence went ahead of them in the cloud during the day and pillar of fire in the night. If Yahusha was impaled on the tree facing the heykal his right hand was pointing southward, towards the wilderness of Paran showing us He is the same Eloah who comes from Teman and Mount Paran.
Hence, we see the wisdom of Yahuah in watching over his word and fulfilling it to bring forth us into the completeness of Yahusha who is the Malchiteseq who would rule the nations with a rod/shebet of iron
Psa 2:9 ‘Break them with a rod/shebet of iron, Dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel
The Abary word shebet we already saw in Gen 49:10 prophesied about Yahudah which means a sceptre or a tribe or a rod of chastisement. The word iron is used as an imagery to show the strength of the rod that will break the nations like a potters vessel.
Rev 22:16 “I, יהושע, have sent My messenger to witness to you these matters in the assemblies. I am the Root and the Offspring of Dawiḏ the Bright and Morning Star.”
The rod that budded with almonds is now in the hands of our Malchitsedeq high priest Yahusha. All esteem to Yahusha
