Impaled on a Stake or a Cross?

The Hebrew word used in the Renewed Testament is 'צלובו' (tsalubu) which they translated in English as 'Cross'

Mat 27:32  And as they were going out, they found a man of Cyrene, Shimʽon by name – they compelled him to bear His stake/tsalubu.

The same word is used consistently used throughout NT as Matthew 10:38,16:24, Mark 15:21, Luke 9:23, 14:27, John 19:17 & Col 1:20 and most English translations would translate it as 'cross' instead of a stake. This word is not even mentioned once in the Old Testament and hence we have to look up the Aramaic texts to see what the word used there is. The Aramaic uses the word 'zaqaypah'

The word 'zaqaypah' is also used in all Aramaic texts including the Khaboris text which is older than the Greek texts.

The word 'zaqaypah' comes from the word 'zaqaph' H2210 & H2211 which means 'raise up/lift up/impaled' and Aramaic is so close to the Hebrew as the word 'zaqaypah' means 'an erect stake or pole for hanging'

Since the Hebrew Renewed Testament was translated from Aramaic it is evident that the translators changed the word from 'zaqaypah' to 'tsalubu' instead of keeping the same 'transliteration' of the word.

Ezr 6:11  And I make a decree that whoever changes this word, let a timber be pulled from his house, and let him be impaled/zaqaph H2211, hanged on it. And let his house be made a dunghill because of this.

Psa 145:14  יהוה is supporting all who are falling, And raising/zaqaph H2210 up all who are bowed down.

As stated H2210 the same word means 'lift up/raise up' as 'erect' and hence the translation 'cross' in English is incorrect whereas it should be correctly translated as 'stake/impale/pole'

The Greek translation uses the word 'stauros' G4716 which means 'stake/post' but the translators mix it up by translating it as 'cross'. Hence we must back up what the word 'zaqaypah' shows with the pattern from Yahuah's dabar.

Joh 3:14  “And as Mosheh lifted up/gabyah the serpent in the wilderness, even so the Son of Aḏam has to be lifted up/hanasah,

Num 21:8  And יהוה said to Mosheh, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole/nas H5251. And it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.”
Num 21:9  So Mosheh made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole/nas H5251. And it came to be, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.

Yahusha said that as Masha lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so that Son of Adam must be lifted up. The word 'lifted up' used for his lifting up is the same word 'nasah' which has the root word 'nas' which means 'pole' whereas the word used for lifting up the serpent is 'gabyah' from 'gabah' H1361 which means 'to be lofty/haughty/mount up/be proud'. The usage of the 2 words is unique because the lofty looks of man/ his haughtiness will be matched up by a standard or banner/nas (as nas also means standard or banner). The Creator who is high and lifted up will in humility be lifted up to take the haughtiness/loftiness of his people on himself in a display of shame. A standard raised against the serpent nature of man. Such is the love of Him for his people.

The serpent came to tempt Adam and Chauah to eat from the tree. A tree is like an erect pole/stake. It is also written 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'

Gal 3:13  Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the Torah, having become a curse for us – for it has been written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs upon a tree.

Deu 21:23  “Let his body not remain overnight on the tree, for you shall certainly bury him the same day – for he who is hanged is accursed of Elohim – so that you do not defile the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you as an inheritance.

Also of Yahusha its said he would be the sign of rise and fall of many in Yasharal. The rod of Aharon in the hand of Masha was an erect stick, the rod became a serpent and swallowed up all the other rods of the Egyptian magicians which became serpents.

Exo 7:10  So Mosheh and Aharon went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, as יהוה commanded. And Aharon threw his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.
Exo 7:11  But Pharaoh also called the wise men and the practisers of witchcraft. And they, the magicians of Mitsrayim, also did so with their magic.
Exo 7:12  And they, each one, threw down his rod, and they became serpents. But the rod of Aharon swallowed up their rods.

1Pe 2:24  who lifted himself to/nasa bear our sins in His body on the tree/ats, so that we, having died to sins, might live unto righteousness – by whose wounds you were healed.

‘asher shama` cher’patho w’lo’ heshiyb na`anah w’lo’ ga`ar

Since Mashiyach was impaled on the stake/pole there were two nails that pierced him, one in the hands and one in the feet

The above picture is of the two nails which were found in the archaeological discovery in the tomb of Yahusha. We don't know if the claim made is true since we stick to the evidence from scriptures and when we see scriptures we see a beautiful picture of the peg/nail which is in the names Yahuah and Yahusha.

Zec 12:10  “And I shall pour on the house of Dawiḏ and on the inhabitants of Yerushalayim a spirit of favour and prayers. And they shall look on Me whom they pierced, and they shall mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son. And they shall be in bitterness over Him as a bitterness over the first-born.

Yahuah: Ya Ha U ah

Yahusha: Ya Ha U sh a

Act 4:12  “And there is no deliverance in anyone else, for there is no other Name under the heaven given among men by which we need to be saved.”

Php 2:10  that at the Name of יהושע every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

The name Yahuah was given as a memorial for all generations

Exo 3:15  And Elohim said further to Mosheh, “Thus you are to say to the children of Yisra’ĕl, ‘יהוה Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Aḇraham, the Elohim of Yitsḥaq, and the Elohim of Yaʽaqoḇ, has sent me to you. This is My Name forever, and this is My remembrance to all generations.’

The name Yahusha means 'Yahuah is Salvation' and its a memorial name which is above in the heavens, under the heaven and below the earth. The two nails in the names 'uau' show a two fold witness that the name is 'ONE'

Luke 24:39   See My hands and My feet that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.”

Psalms 22:16  For dogs have surrounded Me; A crowd of evil ones have encircled Me, piercing My hands and My feet;

Joh 20:27  Then He said to T’oma, “Bring your finger here, and see My hands. And bring your hand and put it into My side – and do not be unbelieving, but believing.”

When Yahusha rose from the dead he showed his disciples his hands and his feet, the nail prints in his two hands and two feet and the side shows the five wounds. The number five is the number of chan/grace and it's written by his wounds we are healed. The Aramaic uses the word 'basumatha/בסומתה' for wound where 'basam' in Abary also means 'spice/sweet/aroma' H1313 & H1314

1Pe 2:24  who Himself bore our sins in His body on the timber, so that we, having died to sins, might live unto righteousnes – by whose wounds you were healed.

Rev 22:2  In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

It's a beautiful picture of grace poured out to us as incense by his wounds healing us. Spices were used to heal ulceric wounds and here his wounds are compared to the spices healing us. The crown of thorns on his head also show us a beautiful picture of the ram caught by his horns in the thorny bush.

Gen 22:13  And Aḇraham lifted his eyes and looked and saw behind him a ram caught in a thorny bush by its horns, and Aḇraham went and took the ram and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.
Gen 22:14  And Aḇraham called the name of the place, ‘יהוה Yireh,’ as it is said to this day, “On the mountain יהוה provides.”

Gal2:19   For through Torah I died to Torah , in order to live to Elohim.
20   I have been impaled with Messiah  and I no longer live, but Messiah lives in me. And that which I now live in the flesh I live by belief in the Son of Elohim, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Through the hands/yaday the work is done, the feet/ragalay walk the path.
Gal 2:19 says through Torah I died to Torah. The Torah held us guilty as our hands couldn't present the work acceptable to Aluahym and our feet couldn't walk the commandments to be accepted in his eyes. Being impaled with Mashiyach on the stake we die to the Torah of sin and death to be renewed in the Torah of the Ruach of life in Mashiyach Yahusha (Romans 8:1-2)

Rom 8:1  There is, then, now no condemnation to those who are in Messiah יהושע, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Ruach.
Rom 8:2  For the Torah of the Ruach of the life in Messiah יהושע has set me free from the law of sin and of death.

Psalms 22:16  For dogs have surrounded Me; A crowd of evil ones have encircled Me, piercing H3738 H738 My hands and My feet;

The word piercing has two words karah/H3738 aray/H738 where karah means to dig/to get by trade/excavate/plot.
And the word aray means 'Lion'
The word 'ka aray' they translated as piercing.
The letter Kaph as a prefix and means 'like /as' and hence the verse spiritually shows us the following

Psalms 22:16  For dogs/keleb have surrounded Me; A crowd of evil ones have encircled Me, to get by trade/karah as/kaph the lion/aray My hands and My feet; 17  I count all My bones. They look, they stare at Me.

1Sa 17:34  Then Dawiḏ said to Sha’ul, “Your servant has been tending sheep for his father, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock,
1Sa 17:35  I went out after it and smote it, and rescued it from its mouth. And when it rose against me, I caught it by its beard, and smote it and killed it.

David testifies as to how he saved the lamb of his flock by going after the lion and rescuing it from it's mouth and Psalms 22:16 shows a picture of the dogs who are the crowd of evil ones (as the Sanhedrin) surrounding Mashiyach to plot by trade from the lion (Romans) his hands and feet i.e. to have him impaled. They were supposed to be shepherds of the flock but they were wild and evil.

Finally the five wounds and the two nails shows the five books of Turah and the two fold testimony of Yahusha in them just like the five barley loaves pieces and the two fish by which Yahusha fed the five thousand and 12 baskets of fragments were left over where the 12 baskets show spiritually the 12 tribes of Yasharal.

Mat 14:17  And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”
Mat 14:20  and all ate and were satisfied. And they picked up the pieces left over – twelve baskets, filled.
Mat 14:21  And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.

The two nails and the side piercing by the spear show a three fold witness of this is He who came by water and blood as water and blood flowed from his wounds ...the Dabar was made flesh and tabernacled with us (John 1:14) just as 1 John 5:6-8 says

1Jn 5:6  This is the One that came by water and blood: יהושע Messiah, not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is the Truth.
1Jn 5:7  Because there are three who bear witness:
1Jn 5:8  the Spirit, and the water, and the blood. And the three are in agreement.

It is the witness as Zech 12:10 shows us who was pierced.
