Roll of a scroll

In our previous study 'Hebraic roots or Greek culture' we saw how the Greek-Roman culture is dominating the western world and most of the translations are dependant on the Greek. People who call themselves as disciples of the Messiah are bound up with a Greek-Roman pagan culture and have derived that the New Testament was written in Greek and have not examined words which Greek couldn't translate as Amen, Ahba, Raca, Hosanna, Sabbath, Corban etc which is a proof that the Greek is a translation from the Hebrew. We won't get into a recap of what was studied in the previous study but we will look freshly at what a scroll written within and the reverse with seven seals means. The Greek uses the word 'biblion' from where English picks up the word 'Bible' which is called 'The Book'.

There is no book which can be rolled up, it has to be a SCROLL and what we call The BOOK is actually a magalath saphar (a rolled scroll).

Eze 2:9. wa’er’eh w’hinneh-yad sh’luchah ‘elay w’hinneh-bo magalath (rolled) -saphar (scroll)
10. wayiph’ros ‘othah l’phanay w’hi’ k’thubah (written) panim (front) w’achor (reverse) w’kathub  ‘eleyah qinim wahegeh wah

Eze2:9 Then I looked, and behold, a hand was extended to me; and lo, a rolled scroll.
Eze2:10 When He spread it out before me, it was written on the front and the reverse, and written on it were lamentations, mourning and woe.

Ezekiel was shown this rolled scroll and was asked to eat this rolled scroll which was sweet as honey in his mouth.

Eze3:1 Then He said to me, Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Yisrael
2 So I opened my mouth, and He fed me this scroll.
3 He said to me, Son of man, make your belly eat, and fill your bowels with this scroll which I am giving to you. Then I ate it, and it was in my mouth like honey for sweetness.

The 'magalath saphar' is the testimony of Yahusha and we will see this in spiritual comparison.

Psalms 40:7 ‘az ‘amar’ti hineh-ba’thi bi magalath-saphar kathub `alay.

Ps40:7 Then I said, Behold, I come; in the rolled scroll it is written of me.

Paul quotes Psalms 40:6-8 in Hebrews 10:5-7 where the Messiah testifies that it's written about him.

Heb 10:7. ‘az ‘amar’tiy hineh-ba’thiy bi magalath-saphar kathub `alay la`asoth r’tson’ak ‘Ahlay.

Heb 10:7 Then I said, Behold, I have come (in the rolled scroll written of Me) to do your will, Ahlay

The quoting of the Hebrew text from the Psalms in a letter written in Hebrew to the Jews of dispersion who came to know the Messiah is a proof that the magalath-saphar is all about Yahusha. He is the testifier who has sealed the testament with his own blood to reveal the unfolding of the testament to his own while dispersing others in confusion.

Heb 9:16 For where a covenant is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

Luke24:44 Now He said to them, “These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moshe and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”

The Law of Moshe, the prophets and the Psalms testifying of him in the rolled scroll.

Now let's look at magalath saphar in Paleo hebrew and see what it means:

Magalath: Ma (pictograph of water meaning Mighty) Gaal (pictograph of a camel bending and shepherds staff guiding : kinsman redeemer) Tau ( mark of the covenant)

Saphar: Sa (pictograph of a thorn which means protect) Pha (pictograph of a mouth which means scatter) Ra (pictograph of a head of a man which means first head)

Put together Magalath Saphar means 'Mighty kinsman redeemers mark of the covenant protects, whose mouth scatters, the first head man'

When Yahusha said in the rolled scroll its written of him this is what it testifies of him. He is our kinsman redeemer (gaal) who protects his people while he scatters by his mouth those whom he has not chosen, dispersing them in confusion.

Lu 2:34 And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

With this background now let's read Rev 5:1-5

John doesn't use the word magalath (roll) but only saphar (scroll) because what was written in the roll was opened up as Yahusha had manifested himself as the Messiah as written in the roll, but who he is was yet sealed and concealed in the scroll which only he was worthy to open it. A roll is the folded scroll which has the writing within while the scroll is the description of what's written

Ps 40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the roll of the scroll it is written of me,

Now let's look at Rev 5:1-5:

Rev 5:1 wa’ere’ biymiyn hayosheb `al-hakise’ saphar kathub paniym w’achor w’chathum b’shib’`ah chothamoth.

Rev5:1 And I saw (wa’ere) right (biymiyn) that dwelt (hayosheb) about chair (al-hakise) scroll (saphar) written (kathub) inside (paniym) and (uau) reverse (achor) and (uau) signed (chathum) with seven (b’shib’`ah) seal (chothamoth).
2. And I saw (wa’ere) -messenger (malak ) nobleman ('abiyr) readers (qore') voice (b'qol)-strong (gadol) who is (miy) worthy (yiz'keh) to open (liph' toach) behold the scroll (ha saphar) to loosen (ul’hatiyr) first and the last (Aleph Tau)-signatory (chothamayu)
3. No one (w’lo’) was allowed (yakol) man ('iysh) none ('lo) in the heavens (bashamayim) none ('lo) in the earth (ba’arets) and none (w'lo) beneath (mitachath) the earth (la'arets) to open (liph’toach ) first and the last (Aleph Tau)- behold the scroll and none (w'lo) to look at (l’habiyt)  in (bo)
4. And I (wa’eb) wept (a’ b’ki) greatly (gadol) about that (al-asher) none ('eyn) man ('iysh) worthy (zokeh) to open (liph’toach) first and the last ('Aleph Tau)- behold the scroll (ha saphar) to read (w’liq’ro’)  to look at (l'habiyt) in (bo)
5. And he said (wayo’mer)  Alahim (‘Ahlay) One (‘echad) from-old elders (min-haz’qeniym) Alahim (Al)- lament (tib’keh) here is (hineh) forever (natsach)  Lion (ha’ar’yeh) that (asher) he ( hu’) tribe (mishebet) Yahuda (Yahuda) root (shoresh) Daud (Daud) to open (liph’toach) first and the last (Aleph Tau) behold the scroll (ha'saphar) to loosen (ul’hatiyr) seven (shib’`ath) signatory (chothamayu).

Rev 5:1 And I saw right that dwelt about chair scroll written inside and reverse and signed with seven  seals .
2. And I saw -messenger nobleman readers voice -strong saying who is  worthy to open behold the scroll to loosen Aleph Tau-signatory.
3. No one was allowed man none in the heavens none in the earth and none beneath the earth to open the Aleph Tau - behold the scroll and none to look at in.
4. And I wept greatly about that none man worthy to open the Aleph Tau - behold the scroll to read, to look at in.
5. And he said Alahim, One from-old elders of Alahim- lament not here is forever Lion that from the  tribe of  Yahuda root of Daud to open the Aleph Tau behold the scroll to loosen the seven signatory.

The scroll written inside and reverse sealed with the revelation of who the Lamb is can also be seen in the imagery of the living creatures with eyes before and reverse and are full of eyes within, These living creatures are the elect with the revelation of who the Lamb is through the spirit of prophecy as the Lamb opens the seven signatories to show them who he is. The elect then take the besorah (message) i.e. the four besorahs (universal) of the Lamb which portrays Lamb as the lion, calf, man and flying eagle. They go to the ends of the earth proclaiming the name of Yahuah which has become (Yahuah has become Yahusha), and exists and is to come. Yahusha gives the golden oil to the menorah (candlestick).

Re 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes before and reverse.
7 And the first living creature was like a lion, and the second living creature like a calf, and the third living creature had a face as a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.
8 ¶ And the four living creature had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Yahuah Alahim Almighty, which has become, and exists, and is to come.

The Greek uses the word 'zoon' for living creatures and 'zoon' means animal/beast. The teriminology John uses quoting the Ezekiel passages shows that the scroll of Revelation was written in Hebrew and not Greek.

Rev 4:6-8 is a parallel to the vision Ezekiel saw

Eze 1:5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.

These living creatures carrying the glory of Yahuah is an imagery of the elect taking the besorah (message) out to the ends of the world. They have the revelation of who Yahusha is. They having eyes before ,within and in the reverse is an imagery parallel to the scroll written within and in the reverse

Hebrew is written reverse. The Hebrew word 'achor' means reverse. Hebrew is written and read right to left.

Rev 5:1 I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a book written inside and reverse (achor), sealed up with seven seals

When one would read about the imagery of the right hand his attention would draw to the one standing on the right hand just as Hebrew is read from right to left. The one standing on the right hand of Alahim is Yahusha.

Rev5:7 And He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.

Alahim draws our attention to his Son who took the scroll from his right hand.

Rev 4:6 and before the throne there was something like a sea of glass, like crystal; and in the midst of the throne and around the throne, four living creatures full of eyes in front and on the reverse (achoreyhem).

The living creatures have Yahusha as their Head. Ezekiel saw in his vision over their heads was the likeness of a sapphire stone on whom a likeness of a man sitting on it.

Eze 1:26 ¶ And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.

When we look at Rev 4:8 in Hebrew we see the words 'Yahuah Alahim Tsbaoth hauah uau hoeh uau yabo' which means 'Yahuah Alahim of hosts who has become (Yahuah has become Yahusha) and exists and who is to come'

Rev 4: 8. w’ar’ba` hachayoth shesh k’naphayim shesh k’naphayim l’echath w’hen m’le’oth `eynayim misabiyb umiliph’niym w’eyn-damiy lahen yomam walay’lah w’om’roth Qadosh Qadosh Qadosh YahĂșah ‘Alahim Ts’ba’oth hauah w’hoeh w’yabo’.

Yahuah has the root word 'hauah' which means 'to become'. Yahuah is become our Yahusha.

The rolled scroll written within and in the reverse is a revelation of who Yahusha is.

John through the spirit of prophecy carefully chooses words, he uses another word 'galal' which means 'roll'. This is used in relation to judgment of seperation

Rev 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll up rolling, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places

Rev 6:14. w’hashamayim mashu k’saphar na galal (scroll up rolling) w’kal-har wa’iy mim’qomam ne`’taqu.

Luke 4:17. wayutan-lo saphar Y’sha`aYahu hanabiy’ wayiph’tach ‘Aleph Tau-ha saphar wayim’tsa’ ‘Aleph Tau-hamaqom ‘asher hayah-kathub bo.

Luke4:17 And the scroll of the prophet YeshaYahu was handed to Him. And He opened the Aleph Tau behold the scroll and found the Aleph Tau behold place where it was written on it,

The scroll was opened by Messiah himself and he rolled (galal) it back. We see the same word 'galal' in respect to blinding the eyes and ears of the hearers who are not chosen from those who are chosen to hear and understand.

Luke 4:20. way’hiy ka’asher galal ‘Aleph Tau-ha saphar way’shiybehu ‘el-hachazan wayesheb w’`eyney kal-‘asher b’beyth hak’neseth n’su’oth ‘elayu.

Luke 4:20 And He rolled (galal) the Aleph Tau behold the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on Him.

Luke 4:21. wayachel wayo’mer ‘aleyhem hayom nith’male’ ha Kathub hazeh b’az’neykem.

Luke 4:21 And He began to say to them, “Today behold this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”

Yahusha rolled up the scroll and gave it back to the attendant. Unless the roll of the scroll is opened by him no one can understand spiritual things. They wanted to stone him when he spoke spiritual language because they didn't understand that he was the Messiah.

Luke 4:28. w’kol ‘asher b’beyth hak’neseth k’sham’`am ‘Aleph Tau-had’bariym ha’eleh wayimal’u chemah.

 Luke4:28 And all the people in the synagogue were filled with rage as they heard Aleph Tau these things;

We see the fulfillment of the blessings and the judgments written in the scroll (saphar) in that the heavens i.e. the kingdom of heaven like a scroll rolled up with every mountain and island moving out of its place as Yahusha separates the wheat from the tares. We see John quoting passages from the prophets revealing the things that would take place in the heavenly during the testing times for the saints of Yahusha.

Isaiah 34:4. w’namaqu kal-ts’ba’ hashamayim w’na galu ka saphar hashamayim w’kal-ts’ba’am yibol kin’bol `aleh migephen uk’nobeleth mit’enah.

Isa34:4 And all the host of heaven shall wear away, and the heavens shall be scrolled up like a scroll; behold the heavens shall also wither away as a leaf withers from the vine, or as one withers from the fig tree

Isaiah uses the same word 'galu' (from galal) to show the seperation of the kingdom of heaven. The withered leaves falling from the vine/fig tree. A seperation.

The 'magalath aphah'

Zechariah sees a vision of a 'roll flying' and that's what 'magalath aphah' means. The usage of the word 'magalath' is significant here because it's something that had not happened yet but was being preprared by shatan as a spiritual kingdom to be revealed in due time.

Zec 5:1 wa’ashub wa’esa’ `eynay wa’er’eh w’hinneh magalath`aphah

Zec 5:1 And I turned and lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, there was a roll flying.

Zec 5:2 And he said to me, What do you see? And I answered, I see a roll flying; its length is twenty cubits and its width ten cubits.

This roll flying had a length of twenty cubits and it's width ten cubits. This measurement is of a counterfiet altar deceiving mass multitudes under the pretense of taking them into a sacrifice which cannot save.

2Ch 4:1 ¶ Moreover he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the length thereof, and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten cubits the height thereof.

After all the vision of the roll flying was of an 'ephah' which was a poor man's sin offering according to the Turah of Mosheh

Le 5:11 But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering.

Zec5:6 I said, What is it? And he said, This is the ephah going forth. And he said, This is their appearance in all the land

Zec 5:4 I will bring it forth, saith Yahuah of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

Zec5:7 and behold, a lead cover was lifted up; and this is a woman sitting in the midst of the ephah

The law of Moshe stated in Lev 5:11 where the ephah shouldn't have oil in it or any frankincense in it for it was a sin offering, the picture of woman in the midst of the ephah is a picture of spiritual wickedness of man in adding to the Turah or taking away words from the Turah. Alahim says that the roll flying would enter the house of the 'thief'. The thief is the one who steals Yahuah's words and misrepresents them. It would also enter into the house of him that swears falsely by Yahuah's name i.e one claiming he is a spiritual Jew but living the Greek-Roman lifestyle, calling on the name of baali.

Zec 5:8 Then he said, This is Wickedness! And he threw her down into the middle of the ephah and cast the lead stone on its mouth

Zec5:9 Then I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, two women were coming out with the wind in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heavens.

The stork was among the unclean fowl which was a non dabar meat forbidden to be eaten

Le 11:19 And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
20 ¶ All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you

The two women with wings of the stork represent the Greek and Roman culture which defile the ephah, the sin offering by driving it with the winds of their doctrine. They lift up the ephah between the earth and the heavens which is spiritual wickedness in high places, filling the heavenly places thus deceiving Christianity with another messiah who cannot save.

Zec5:11 Then he said to me, To build a house (Beth) in the earth (arets) in Shinar (in Babylon); and when it is prepared, she shall be set there on her own base.

The magalath aphah is Mystery Babylon carrying Jezebel hidden in the ephah, she has defiled the ephah with her pagan Greek-Roman culture of Baal worship leading people away from the true Messiah to live in the winds of unclean doctrines (stork) filling the space between the earth and the heavens.
