Alaph (א) and Thu (ת)
The Aleph is a letter which began in the Cannanite pictographs letter writing as an 'Ox head' was later represented in Paleo-Hebrew (ketav ivri) as two yods and one uau. This ox head, when turned to point upward, is the modern capital “A” of our alphabet. This symbol conveys the power found in the horns of the ox, and its subsequent authority/headship. In the paleo Hebrew the Yod is a hand pointing upward and a Yod (hand) pointing downward with a uau (nail/peg) passing through it forming the Aleph alphabet.
The Paleo Hebrew (ketav ivri) became the holy script as it was given to Moses by Yahuah through mediation of angels. (Gal 3:19 & Acts 7:53)
The 'ox head' became the symbol of leadership and in meaning is distinguished from the letter resh (ר : Modern Hebrew)(Paleo Hebrew)
, from which the word rosh (as in Rosh Hashanah) is derived. Rosh denotes the first leader – the chief. The Aleph denotes the heavenly primacy; that is to say, the first position in all things and Aluahym extending himself to creation.

Hebrew is read from right to left. Strongs word for Alaph Thu is H853 'eth'and the meaning is given as 'UNREPRESENTED IN ENGLISH'.

Alaph Thu is not translated because it is not understood by carnal mind.
The emissary Yahuchanan (John) spoke and understood Hebrew so no way Yahusha would have said that he is Alpha and the Omega which is the Greek translation of 'Alaph Thu' and dilutes the meaning and the representation. We will see the usage of Alaph Thu in many places in OT and see how it is the mark/covering of Yahusha's ownership on his people. We will also see the mark of Cain which also has the Alaph Thu but with a nail in the middle which was a 'SIGN' and we will see the usage of that word as well as in the mark of the beast.
Gen 1:1 when translated correctly it would read ' In the beginning Aluahym created, alaph thu (marked it with the mark of Yahusha), the heavens and alaph thu, the earth.
Col 1:16 For by him (Yahusha) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Now let's look at book of Ruth. In the first three chapters Ruth's name is never preceeded with Alaph Thu. In Chapter 4 Boaz tells Elimelech he must redeem Ruth but when he is not able to redeem Ruth, so Boaz redeems her.

After Ruth is redeemed there is an Alaph Thu preceeding her name in the final two places her name is mentioned. Please read Ruth 4:10 and Ruth 4:13.
Both Easu and Jacob have the Alaph Thu before the trading of birthright was done. Also the birthright has got Alaph Thu before it. The Alaph Thu was blotted out from Esau while is continued to remain with Jacob.

Gen 27:1 is the last time where Esau's name has an Alaph Thu when he is called whereas it continues with Jacob and with the blessing and the words of his father Isaac.

So we see Alaph Thu was a mark of headship and redemption i.e. a mark of Yahusha on his people.
Alaph Thu in Gen 1
Let there be light:

2Co 4:6 For Aluahym, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of Aluahym in the face of Yahusha the Messiah.
The light was a mark of the knowledge of the glory of Aluahym in the face of Yahusha.
Dividing waters from waters:
Ge 1:7 And Aluhym made (Alaph Thu) the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
We have seen in spiritual comparison that the waters under the firmament speaks of the present earth which is immersed in the waters of Aluahym's wrath and the waters above the firmament speaks of the new earth standing out of the waters of Aluahym's wrath where elect stand on the sea of transperency.
2Pe 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of Aluahym the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
Re 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of Aluahym.
Two great lights: Sun and moon
Ge 1:16 And Aluahym made (Alaph Thu) two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
We can read in Gen 1 when Aluahym made everything he marked creation with Yahusha's mark. Making creation subject to vanity with the hope of redemption by Yahusha.
Ro 8:20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

Mark of Cain:
Cain had the Alaph Thu on his name. Qayin (kay'n) means 'acquired', 'possession', 'spear'. The context of the verse defines why Eve named him Kay'n and she says she 'ACQUIRED A MAN' from Yahuah. So 'acquired a man' is what his name means. The sciptures is it's own dictionary.

Hebrew word for mark of Cain is 'owth: alaph uau thu' which means 'SIGN'/'TOKEN' and is used in connection to the previous Alaph Thu.
Where do we find the previous Alaph Thu? Let's view the verses again:
Gen 4:14 Behold, thou hast driven me out H853: את Alaph Thu this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.

The word translated as 'mark' in Gen 4:15 is the Alaph Thu with a 'uau' (nail) in it which connects it to the previous Alaph Thu of Gen 4:14 which is just before 'this day'. What does this mean? Cain tells Yahuah that he has driven Cain from Yahuah's face 'THIS DAY' from the face of the earth and this means he has no more salvation for him.
'This day' is in present tense indicating while salvation was still available. It means while salvation is still available Cain will never attain it as he is cursed as a wanderer. Yahuah placed a 'wanderer' mark on him. The 'Aleph Uau Tav' connects to the previous Aleph Tav which shows him being cut off THIS DAY. That is his sign or token and to all who walk in his way.
Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
Let's see another example of the connecting alaph thu which is the 'Uau Alaph Thu'
Num 26:59 And the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom her mother bare to Levi in Egypt: and she bare unto Amram אתH853 Aaron and וֺאת Moses, and וֺאת Miriam their sister.

There is 'uau alaph thu' before the earth which connects it to the alaph thu before the heaven which Yahuah marked when creating them. The 'uau alaph thu' is translated as 'and' which is incorrect.

'This day' is in present tense indicating while salvation was still available. It means while salvation is still available Cain will never attain it as he is cursed as a wanderer. Yahuah placed a 'wanderer' mark on him. The 'Aleph Uau Tav' connects to the previous Aleph Tav which shows him being cut off THIS DAY. That is his sign or token and to all who walk in his way.

The 'Nail' between the 'Aleph' and 'Tav' in 'Owth' here is like a nail fastened for judgment connecting him to being cut off from 'THIS DAY'. That's what it spiritually means.

While Aluahym set the 'signs' those in the way of Kayin (Cain) see literal signs in the sun, moon and stars and are deceived into a literal carnal following of the sun & moon without understanding their darkening or a blood moon sign.
Aluahym set the lights to divide the day from the night as signs. The sign of the Sun darkening, moon turning into blood and the stars falling. His 'nail' mark fastened it and will judge and show the divide asunder/separation. These are all spiritual things and hence can only be understood when compared spiritual vs spiritual.

The token of covenant of bow was a reminder that Yahuah will no longer destroy the earth (a covenant with the elect as he will masha (draw out) them out) with the floods and yet he has reserved the 'nail' of his judgment to drown all those carnal in the waters of his wrath when he divided the waters from the waters.

The Way of Cain is Mystery Babylon. But it doesn't mean that his physical lineage would be part of it. Mystery Babylon is a spiritual kingdom. You may look up the passages which show that 'Alaph Thu ' mark continued even on Cain's seed.

This shows the mercy of Yahuah that he doesn't impute the sin of the father to his children. Just as sons of Korah who who were elect and wrote some Pslams which we have today whereas their father was swallowed alive in the heart of the earth for rebellion.

In Ezekiel we see a mark being set on the foreheads of those who would be spared, and the mark was the Thu – the sign of the two crossed sticks as the 't'. Here, at the end of the age, we see a seal being fixed – the seal of the living Aluahym – on the foreheads of those who would be spared the damnation that follows.
Rev 22:13-14 I am the Alaph Thu; the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Those who are marked of Yahusha know and understand what the mark of the beast is and they are the ones having the mind of wisdom.
