Jer 3:19 But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.
We have heard the term 'Father' and many have been calling on Alahim as their Father including the Jews.
Joh 8:41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even Alahim.
The Jews were confident of the Abrahamic covenant in calling Abraham their father and through the Covennant made with him called Alahim as their father.Messiah affirms that they are Abraham's seed but also calls them as children of the devil. Is there a contradiction? How can one be a son of Abraham as well as the son of the devil?
First let us look at those scriptures and examine how one can be a son of Abraham and yet be a son of the devil.
Joh 8:37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
Joh 8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Yahusha saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
With the reading of the scriptures above it can be understood that anyone could call Alahim his father but it is Alahim who chooses whose Father he will be. If you notice carefully in John 8:41 the Jews claimed they were NOT BORN OF FORNICATION and yet they were children of fornication. Let's see how:
Ne 9:7 Thou art the YAHUAH the Alahim, who didst choose Abram, and broughtest him forth out of Ur of the Chaldees, and gavest him the name of Abraham;
The name Abram comes from the root words 'awb' which means 'father' and 'ruwm' which means 'high/exalted'. So 'Abram' means high father and 'Abraham' means 'father of multitude'
Before Abraham was chosen for salvation he was an exalted/lifted up/set up father but had no children. He dwelt in Ur of Chaldees i.e. BABYLON
Ge 15:6 And he believed in the YAHUAH; and he counted it to him for righteousness.7 ¶ And he said unto him, I am the Yahuahh that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.
By the promise Alahim made to him that in his seed all nations shall be blessed and he believed Alahim on his promise was accounted for his righteousness
Ge 17:4 ¶ As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
Paul tells us who this SEED was
Ga 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Messiah.
17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of Alahim in Messiah, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but Alahim gave it to Abraham by promise.
Coming back to the Jews who called Abraham as their father and through him acknowledged Alahim as their Father yet there were children of the devil because they made their boast in their CARNAL HERITAGE. Caanan was the place they looked for as their dwelling place forever and their CARNAL HERITAGE took them back to Chaldees i.e. Babylon from where Abraham was called out to sojourn with Alahim. If they were true children of Alahim they would have behaved as Abraham did and that's exactly what Messiah was telling them in John 8
Joh 8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Yahusha saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
Bible tells us that Abraham was a sojourner. He came out of Babylon. He left his carnal heritage to sojourn with Alahim for he saw his reward i.e Messiah.
Joh 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
Ge 15:1 ¶ After these things the word of the Yahuah came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
This is when Abraham saw Messiah by his eyes of faith and was glad. He looked forward to the goodly heritage and sojourned in the land of promise as in a strange country dwelling in tabernacles with Issac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise.

This is when Abraham saw Messiah by his eyes of faith and was glad. He looked forward to the goodly heritage and sojourned in the land of promise as in a strange country dwelling in tabernacles with Issac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise.
Heb 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is Alahim.
11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
Furthermore in the same chapter the writer of Hebrews tells us that these all died in faith not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. Verse 15: If they would have been mindful of the country from where they came out they might have had opportunity to have returned there. Yes, Abraham could have returned back to Babylon from where Alahim called him but he was mindful of the heavenly country, he was mindful of the Covenant of Alahim, he was mindful of the reproach of Messiah for he saw Messiah as his exeedingly and great reward.
Heb 11: 13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore Alahim is not ashamed to be called their Alahim: for he hath prepared for them a city.
Lu 10:24 For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
It is sad that those who claim that they have fled Mystery Babylon seek a carnal heritage in this world. There are so many claiming the blessing of Abraham without understanding what the blessing of Abraham means.
Ga 3:13 Messiah hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Yahusha Messiah; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
The blessing of Abraham is to receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Zec 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
The Promise of the Spirit is the heavenly country and not an earthly inheritance.
Joh 8:23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
Joh 18:36 Yahusha answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
Messiah is our goodly heritage, our exceedingly and great reward. You cannot love Alahim and mammon.Doctrines which are man made leads you to Babylon and the doctrine of Messiah leads you to your true heritage i.e. NEW CREATION.
Mt 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve Alahim and mammon.
Ga 6:14 But Alahim forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Yahuah Yahusha Messiah, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
15 For in Messiah Yahusha neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
'Abram' is an exalted father of Babylon who was childless and then saved by grace and named of Alahim as 'Abraham' which means father of a multitude/nations. By calling Alahim your father, he doesn't become your father, the faith that you display shows your heritage.
Ro 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of Alahim.
Ps 16:5 Yahuahh is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
If we are true children of Abraham we will be like him. A true sojourner looking for the heavely country in which righteousness dwells whereas carnal children live DELICIOUSLY and are part of Mystery Babylon who says " I sit a queen, and am no widow"
Re 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
The Jews saw their carnal heritage Canaan and were satisfied with it. They thought they would dwell in Canaan forever.
Ps 49:11 Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.
This is the time of separation of wheat and tares and what is is man's heart is manifested as the foundations of the world are discovered at the rebuke of Alahim
Ps 18:15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O YAHUAH, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.
16 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.
The waters spiritually stand for peoples/multitudes
Ps 144:7 Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;
The call to come out of Babylon is not physical in nature but spiritual and we all need to examine our hearts and introspect to see what do I see as my goodly heritage. The carnal senses want to see worshippers around you in a church, a throne, music, emotional support or fellowship, a good burial etc but Abraham was ALL ALONE when he was called of Alahim out of Babylon. He did not mingle himself with the world and none of the children of Alahim did in all ages. They separated themselves from strange children who seemed to be children of Abraham but were in reality the children of devil. They lived as pilgrims and sojourners on the earth.
Ro 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
The promise of Abraham was the promise of the Spirit through faith. The heavenly country.
1Jo 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
