Genesis 1 in relation to Shabbat

Quote is not 100% correct, it starts with the 4th day is a Sabbath, and then the 11th of the month is the Sabbath--Not the 8th---And you do not know how the Calendar works-Creation day the 4th day in creation when the sun and moon and stars were created or revealed, this is day One of the year, and then only to found the Weekly Sabbath we go 4,5,6,7,, therefore the Fourth day is the weekly Sabbath.

Joy Collecutt I copy pasted it from the source which gives details of the Temple scroll, even if it’s stated as the 4th day and then 11th day and so on, the Genesis account tells us Yahuah rested on the 7th day from all his work, not on the 4th day as you suggest. The 4th day you calculate as Day one which is Shabbat is because of the beginning of calculating the time because Yahuah Aluahym made the sun, moon and stars on this day. You are taking all verses at a face value and not looking at the ruach in the letter. The ancient paleo Abary language will not make sense unless you start looking at spirit in the letter because the letter kills but the spirit gives life.

Gen 1:1 says Yahuah Aluahym had made the heavens and the earth

Gen 1:1 In the beginning Elohim created the alaph tau heavens and the alaph tau earth.

The alaph tau heavens and the alaph tau earth spiritual were already created.

Heb 4:3  For we who have believed do enter into that rest, as He has said, “As I swore in My wrath, if they shall enter into My rest...” And yet His works were FINISHED from the foundation of the world.

These heavens and the earth refer to beyond the time keepers to which those in Mashiyach will attain to. How do we know it speaks the spiritual?

Gen 2:1 AND (uau) the heavens and the earth were completed/yakalu H3615 (from kalah which means COMPLETE), and all their HOSTS/H6635 tsaba.

Gen 2:2  And on the seventh day Elohim completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.

Gen 2:3  And Elohim blessed the seventh day and set it apart, because on it He rested from all His work which Elohim in creating had made.

Gen 2:4 These are the births of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that יהוה Elohim made earth and heavens.

The word ‘Tsaba H6635’ is the same word which is used as ‘Yahuah of hosts/tsaba H6635’. So these hosts are beyond the natural and one needs spiritual eyes to see them.

1Sa 15:2 “Thus said יהוה of hosts/tsaba H6635, ‘I shall punish Amalĕq for what he did to Yisra’ĕl, how he set himself against him on the way when he came up from Mitsrayim.

The sun, moon and stars refer to Yasharal and hence the 4th Day when Yahuah created them he set them as TOKENS/AUT H226

Gen 1:14  And Elohim said, “Let lights come to be in the expanse of the heavens to separate/badal H914 bayan H996 the day from the night, and let them be for signs (אוֺת) H226 and appointed times (מוֹעֵד) H4150, and for days and years,

Gen 1:15  and let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth.” And it came to be so.

It’s interesting to see the ‘ban/son’ rooted in ‘bayan’ which is translated as between (many translations won’t even translate this in this verse). Yahuah divided/badal H914 the ‘sons of light’ from the ‘sons of darkness’

The 'signs' H226 were related to the firmament

Re 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

Re 8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

Mt 16:3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

While Aluahym set the 'signs' those in the way of Kayin (Cain) see literal signs in the sun, moon and stars and are deceived into a literal carnal following of the sun & moon without understanding their darkening or a blood moon sign.

Aluahym set the lights to divide the day from the night as signs. The sign of the Sun darkening, moon turning into blood and the stars falling. His 'nail' mark fastened it and will judge and show the divide asunder/separation. These are all spiritual things and hence can only be understood when compared spiritual vs spiritual.

As you can see from the spiritual comparison the 'nail' in 'owth' shows the relation to judgment, sun which was shining bright is now darkened as the sack cloth

Hebrew word for mark of Cain is 'owth/AUT (alaph uau tau)' which means 'SIGN'/'TOKEN' H226 which is the same word used in Gen 1:14 and is used in connection to the previous Alaph Tau.

Gen 4:14  Behold, thou hast driven me out H853: את Alaph Tau this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
Gen 4:15  And Yahuah said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And Yahuah set a mark (אוֺת H226 ) upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

The word translated as 'mark' in Gen 4:15 is the Alaph Tau with a 'uau' (nail) in it which connects it to the previous Alaph Tau of Gen 4:14 which is just before 'this day'. What does this mean? Cain tells Yahuah that he has driven Cain from Yahuah's face 'THIS DAY' from the face of the earth and this means he has no more salvation for him.

'This day' is in present tense indicating while salvation was still available. It means while salvation is still available Cain will never attain it as he is cursed as a wanderer. Yahuah placed a 'wanderer' mark on him. The 'Alaph Uau Tau' connects to the previous Alaph Tau which shows him being cut off THIS DAY. That is his sign or token and to all who walk in his way.


Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Jud 1:13  wild waves of the sea foaming up their own shame, WANDERING STARS for whom blackness of darkness is kept forever.

Coming back to the 4^th day when Yahuah made the sun, moon and stars and set them as AUT H226/ SIGNS spiritually shows separation/badal of the sons of light from the sons of darkness, the sons of light being the Ruach Yasharal while the sons of darkness being Yasharal after the flesh.

Yoseph saw the sun, moon and 11 stars (he himself was the 12^th star (a tribe from the 12 tribes) bowing down to him and Yaaqob tells him in Gen 37:10 …“What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall we, your mother and I and your brothers, indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?”

This shows Yaaqob perfectly understood what his dream meant spiritually. We need spiritual eyes to see this.

Gen 37:9  And he dreamed still another dream and related it to his brothers, and said, “See, I have dreamed another dream, and see, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”

Gen 37:10  And he related it to his father and his brothers. And his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall we, your mother and I and your brothers, indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?”

Rev 12:1  And a great sign/aut H226 was seen in the heaven: a woman clad with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.

Rev 12:2  And being pregnant, she cried out in labour and in pain to give birth.

Yahuchanan sees spiritual Yasharal clothed with the sun, moon under her feet and the crown of 12 stars on her head.

The 4^th day cannot be the Shabbat because the Shabbat begins with the Master and ends with him because he is the alaph tau (the first and the last). The Sabbath was made for the man and not man for the Sabbath so the Son of Man is also the Master of the Sabbath.

Mar 2:27  And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.

Mar 2:28 “So the Son of Aḏam is also Master of the Sabbath.

Col 1:17 says ‘He is before all things and by him all hold together’ and Col 1:15 says he is the firstborn over all creation. In the order he is before ADAM, the heavenly man just as it says in Gen 1:1 In the beginning Elohim created the alaph tau heavens and the alaph tau earth.

and Gen 2:1 ‘Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their hosts/tsaba’

He is also the LAST ADAM as stated in 1 Corin 15:45 And so it has been written, “The first man Aḏam became a living being,” the last Aḏam a life-giving Spirit.

Everything else falls in BETWEEN/Bayan in a DIVISION/Badal. Coming back to Gen 2:1-4 verse 4 says These are the births of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that יהוה Elohim made earth and heavens.

The heavens and the earth (spiritual) were created in the day Aluahym made the earth and the heavens (physical). We can’t miss these important pieces of information.

What you are missing Joy is that you are looking at a physical DAY and not seen ‘THIS DAY’…Today if you hear his voice harden not your heart as in the day of provocation. One needs to come to be in the RUACH on the DAY of YAHUAH to see these truths, if not chosen to see this you will only be wandering in the letter of a calendar.

Rev 1:10  I came to be in the Spirit on the Day of יהוה, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet,

Now coming to the Shabbats which Yahusha says the Shabbat was made for man and not man for the Shabbat. The first day is a Shabbat because on Day ONE Aluahym said Gen 1:3

Gen 1:2 And the earth came to be formless and empty, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Elohim was fluttering/rachapah on the face of the waters.

Gen 1:3 And Elohim said, “Let light come to be,” and light came to be.

Gen 1:4 And Elohim saw the light, that it was good. And Elohim separated/badal H914 between/bayan H996 the light from the darkness.

Gen 1:5 And Elohim called the light ‘day’ and the darkness He called ‘night.’ And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the day/yom one/achad.

Shaul defines what this LIGHT was… 2Co 4:6 For Elohim, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts for the enlightening of the knowledge of the esteem of Elohim in the face of יהושע Messiah. Before Yahuah Aluahym made anything he foreordained the light of his knowledge be manifested through the face of Yahusha ha Mashiyach and he foreordained the separation/badal bayan/between the sons to be arrayed in the light and darkness. Before the timekeepers came his LIGHT shone creation on YOM ACHAD (Day ONE)

Joh 1:4  In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

Joh 1:5  And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Yahuah had me look up what Kepha says about Yom achad

2Pe 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word/bidabar of Elohim the heavens were done/nashau, and the earth in the/min water and rising/al by the hands/yaday out of the waters,

2Pe 3:6 through which the world/tabal that then was, being swept away/nashatpah with water, waters flooded/hamabul

2Pe 3:7 But the heavens and earth, which are before us/la phaneynu, by the same word/ba dabaru are kept in budding/nitspanu, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and destruction of wicked men

2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that day/yom one/achad is with Yahuah as a thousand/alaph years/shanah, and a thousand/alaph years/shanah as day/yom one/achad.

When we read these verses in the English semantics of the translations we have it doesn’t make sense but when we look at the Abary roots and look at words closely we see a beautiful picture of salvation and deliverance of Yahuah’s people from the waters.

2 Peter 3:5 says that men are WILLINGLY ignorant that by the dabar of Alahym the heavens were done (most translations say ‘were of old’ which is wrong because ‘nasha’ is from ‘asha’ which means ‘done/occurred’) and the earth in the water and rising by the hands (they translated yaday as ‘standing out’ whereas ‘yad’ is the hand and ‘yaday’ means ‘hands’) out of the waters.

2 Peter 3:6 through which the world/tabal (the word ‘bal’ means ‘nothing’ and tau means covenant, the picture is of a covenant less world) that then was being swept away with water, waters flooded (they translated ‘hamabul’ as perished but you may look up ‘bul’ means flood and ‘ham’ means waters).

2 Peter 3:7 But the heavens and earth which are before us (phaneyu means ‘face’, it like something before one’s face), by the same word are kept in budding (they translated nitspanu as ‘kept in store’ whereas ‘nats’ means ‘blossom’ and ‘pan’ means face and ‘panu’ shows something hidden from the face) reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and destruction of wicked men.

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved be not ignorant of this one thing, that the day one is with Yahuah as thousand years and a thousand years as day one (the word ‘shanah’ in Strong’s H8140 & H8141 means ‘year’, same word H8139 & H8142 means ‘sleep’. 

It’s interesting to see that the same word ‘shanah’ in H8138 means to repeat/doubled or do it a second time)

The focus is on understanding the ruach hidden in the letter. What was doubled/repeated?

The key is in understanding the earth in the water and rising by the hands out of the water and this was doubled/repeated.

Peter speaks of ‘thousand years as DAY ONE’. What happened on day one?

Gen 1:2 And the earth came to be formless and empty, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Elohim was fluttering/rachapah on the face of the waters.

Gen 1:3 And Elohim said, “Let light come to be,” and light came to be.

Gen 1:4 And Elohim saw the light, that it was good. And Elohim separated/badal H914 between/bayan H996 the light from the darkness.

Gen 1:5 And Elohim called the light ‘day’ and the darkness He called ‘night.’ And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the day/yom one/achad.

The day one/ yom achad was the day when the earth was formless and empty and darkness was on the face of the deep and the Ruach of Alahym was fluttering/rachapah on the face of the waters and Yahuah separated the light from darkness on yom achad/day one.

This day/yom one/achad Peter says is as alaph/thousand years/shanah and thousand years is a day/yom one/achad.

Peter is tying up the day one of Gen 1 to the Noach flood when the earth was in the waters and by his hands were out of the waters (prophetic of what he was going to do spiritually in dividing the sons of light who will rise up to be caught up to the new heavens and new earth which stood out by his hands from the present heavens and earth which was flooded to sweep away the sons of darkness) with the promise of the alaph shanah/thousand years in Mashiyach.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Yahusha and because of the word of the Elohim, and those who had not worshiped the beast nor his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they lived and reigned with the Mashiyach for a thousand/alaph years/shanayam.

The separation was doubled/repeated to show the surety of his covenant and purpose by bringing the bow in the cloud, in the Noachic flood when Yahuah saved Noach and his family while destroyed the ungodly men from the face of the earth. The earth once again stood in waters and out of the waters where Noach and his family were above the waters safe in the ark and that ark is Mashiyach. The Masha/drawn out is in ‘Mashiyach’. The name ‘Masha/Moses’ means ‘Drawn out’ for he was drawn out of the waters.

The doubling can be seen in day two which also is the same word ‘shanah’ (two)

Gen 1:7 And Elohim made the expanse, andseparated/badal H914 between/banay H996 the waters which were below the expanse and between the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so.

Gen 1:8 And Elohim called the expanse heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a day/yom shanay/two.

While the time lapse was just ‘ONE DAY/YOM ACHAD’ away from when the earth was in waters, Peter says it’s for Yahuah as ‘alaph shanah/thousand years’

Alaph is the first letter of the Abary language and means ‘first/chief’ and we already saw ‘shanah’ means ‘sleep/repeat/doubled’ and the alaph shanah shows Mashiyach as the first and the last who was the same ruach who fluttered over the waters and divided the waters from the waters.

1Pe1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you

The double portion which is a complete circle just like the bow in the cloud which Yahuah brought that will remind him of the eternal covenant and its fulfillment in Yahusha ha Mashiyach.

Rev 4:3 And He who sat there was like a jasper and a ruby stone in appearance. And there was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance.

Gen 9:13 “I shall set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.

Gen 9:14 “And it shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud,

Coming back to the word ‘shanah’ we see this word used in Psalms 127:2 as sleep

Psa 127:2 In vain do you rise up early, To sit up late, to eat the bread of toil; So He gives His beloved/yadyad H3039 sleep/shanah H8142.

The same word ‘sleep/shanah’ is used for the wicked who were swept away and this day (day two when Yahuah separated the waters from the waters was as day one when Yahuah separated the sons of light from the sons of darkness on day two)

Psa 90:4 For a thousand/alaph years/shanah in Your eyes Are like day/yom before/atmul H865 that has past, Or like a watch in the night.

Psa 90:5 You have swept them away, They are as a sleep/shanah H8142, Like grass that springs up in the morning.

We also see none of our fathers ever lived for ‘thousand years’, the longest to live was Methuselah who lived 969 years falling short of the thousand years. Mashiyach is the only one who can give us eternal life as it’s stated…

Gen 5:27 So all the days of Methushelah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he died.

1Co 15:45 And so it has been written, “The first man Aḏam became a living being,” the last Aḏam a life-giving Spirit.

Hence we see the first day when everything seemed to be submerged under the darkness of the deep Yahuah Aluahym brought forth the Light of the knowledge of himself to SHINE through the face of Yahusha ha Mashiyach in TIME and hence 1^st day is a Shabbat because of the surety of the works being finished before the foundation of the worlds. Yahuah Aluahym rested on the 7^th day Gen 2:2 because Gen 2:1 says Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their hosts.

The heavens and the earth are the SPIRITUAL i.e. the heavenly Yerushalam. Yahuah promised Abraham that he would give him the land of Kannan forever but he viewed the promise as SPIRITUAL because he looked upto New Yerushalam.

Gen 17:8 “And I shall give to you and your seed after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Kenaʽan, as an everlasting possession. And I shall be their Elohim.”

Heb 11:8  By belief, Aḇraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he was about to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.

Heb 11:9  By belief, he sojourned in the land of promise as a stranger, dwelling in tents with Yitsḥaq and Yaʽaqoḇ, the heirs with him of the same promise,

Heb 11:10 for he was looking for the city having foundations, whose builder and maker is Elohim.

Hence the Shabbat was made for man as seen in Gen 1:3 day one and it goes on as day 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49 as Shabbats and not 4,11 and so on.

It is sad that after the LIGHT is come you are fallen for a calendar in carnal ordinances not able to see the Ruach in the letter. Like I said I see and understand what the sun turning black means and what the moon turning blood means because like the Israelites in the middle east occupied in a blood moon calendar, you and other folks are occupied in a black sun cloth calendar.

From a historical perspective Psalms 104:19 is clear that he set the moon/yarach for the appointed times/muaedim, the SUN KNOWS HIS GOING DOWN.

Your explanation of yarach not being the moon and only showing a difference of days shows you are trying to fit everything into your calendar and not come humbly to accept the testimony of scriptures.

Going by your interpretation Yahushua/Joshua said Sun stand still over Gibeon and period of days in the Valley of Ayalon.

Jos 10:12  Then Yehoshua spoke to יהוה in the day when יהוה gave the Amorites over to the children of Yisra’ĕl, and he said before the eyes of Yisra’ĕl, “Sun/shamash, stand still over Giḇʽon; and moon/yarach, in the Valley of Ayalon.”

Jos 10:13  So the sun/shamash stood still, and the moon/yarach stopped, till the nation avenged itself upon their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Yashar? Thus the sun/shamash stopped in the midst of the heavens, and did not hasten to go down for an entire day.

What you fail to see Joy is that the Abary word for sun is ‘shamash’ which have the root words ‘sham’ which means ‘breath’ and ‘mash’ which means ‘draw out’….each time the sun rises and sets it’s a spiritual reminder of our breath going to be masha/drawn out of this world one day. The Abary word for ‘moon’ is ‘yarach’ where ya is the yod/hand and ‘rach’ means ‘travel’ …the appointed times were nothing but a travel of following his yod/hand (arm of Yahuah who is Yahusha) to reach the destination. Once one reaches the destination he is beyond the moon calendar in the Ruach on the Day of Yahuah and not leave the one and occupy in another calendar saying my eyes are opened.

Yasharal never observed any of the appointed times outside of the land, the appointed times find their fulfillment in Yahusha. Our land is New Yerushalam and that’s where we must desire to go not holding to Tokens/AUT anymore but the Alaph Tau himself.

The Temple scroll delusion-Response to refute this Dead Sea Scroll

Quote The Temple scroll" you shall count of seven full weeks from the day on which you bring the Barley Sheaf"---This takes us to the 15th day of the third month. Parchment 4Q326, , "on the twenty-sixth of the month is the barley Festival End Quote

This is what Temple scroll parchment 4Q326 says…

In the first (month) on the fourth (day) is Sabbath... On the eighth (day) in it [is Sabbath] ... On the eleventh (day) in it is Sabbath... [On the 14th (day) in it is Passover on the third (day of the week). On the 15th (day) in it: the feast of the Unleavened Bread on the fourth (day of the week). On the 18th (day) is Sabbath. On the 25th (day) in it: Sabbath. On the 26th (day) in it:] feast of the Gr[ain after the Sabbath. In the first month] 30 (days). On the second (day) in it: [Sabbath. On the ninth (day) in it: Sabbath. On the 16th (day)] ..

And that’s why you celebrate Shabbat on the fourth day of the week i.e. Thursday. Joy you must first of all look at evidence within scripture and if any scroll/ historical document that contradicts Yahauh’s dabar should be discarded straight away.

When we go to Genesis 1 on the 4^th day Yahuah made the time keepers as SIGNS (aut H226 which is a TOKEN pointing go the spiritual alaph tau)

Gen 1:14 And Elohim said, “Let lights come to be in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs/aut (alaph uau tau) and appointed times/muaed, and for days/yom and years/shanah,

Gen 1:15  and let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth.” And it came to be so.

Gen 1:16  And Elohim made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night, and the stars.

Gen 1:17  And Elohim set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth,

Gen 1:18  and to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And Elohim saw that it was good.

Gen 1:19 And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the fourth day.

Genesis accounts the 6 days of creation as ‘evening and the morning’ which is sunset to sunset (with morning to evening included and not a half day as some suggest) which is not a solar calendar for sure. On the 7^th day Yahuah rested from all his works.

Gen 2:2  And on the seventh day Elohim completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.

Gen 2:3 And Elohim blessed the seventh day and set it apart, because on it He rested from all His work which Elohim in creating had made.

This came as a command in Turah that 6 days you shall rest but the 7^th day is a day of Solemn rest as Yahuah rested from all his works.  The days of the week also came written in a 7-day pattern as Yom- Reeshon- First day, Yom- Shanay- Second day, Yom- Shalashay- Third day, Yom Rabyay- fourth day, Yom chamishi- fifth day, Yom shishshi- sixth day and Shabbat- 7^th day rest.

Please look up the history of the Temple scroll, there are so many discrepancies in it as it states that the revelation given from Alahym to Moses with the intended meaning that this is the more appropriate temple which was revealed to Moses, and that Moses' instructions were either forgotten or ignored when Solomon built the first temple. In other words, in the mind of the Scroll writer, "Solomon should actually have built the First Temple as it is described here in the Temple Scroll". This is blasphemy because if Solomon did not follow the pattern as given to Moses by Yahuah then Yahuah would never have entered it, we have scriptures recording that when Solomon built the temple and they began praising and thanking Yahuah, Yahuah’s esteem filled the house and the priests were unable to stand and perform the service because of the cloud, for the esteem of Yahuah filled the house of Alahym.

2Ch 5:14 and the priests were unable to stand and perform the service because of the cloud, for the esteem of יהוה filled the House of Elohim.

Moreover, this Temple scroll was written in the square script during late Second Temple period and is mostly a copy paste of things written in Turah but mismatch in feasts and days observance. Its dangerous to go outside into historical documents and believe what’s mentioned in it above Tanak. The Tanak clearly states that the Pesach is on the 14^th day and also states that the Pesach lamb has to be sacrificed between the evenings…NOT THE MORNING showing a evening to evening feast observation. I also showed evidence from the NT that they didn’t want to leave the bodies of Mashiyach and the robbers impaled with him on the tree because the next day was a High Shabbat, they hastened to get the bodies down from the tree because in a couple of hours time after Yahusha died on the tree the feast of Unleavened bread would begin.

Joh 19:31 Therefore, since it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the stake on the Sabbath – for that Sabbath was a high one – the Yehuḏim asked Pilate to have their legs broken, and that they be taken away.

Luk 23:55 And the women who had come with Him from Galil followed after, and saw the tomb and how His body was laid.

Luk 23:56 And having returned, they prepared spices and perfumes. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the command.

The biggest discrepancy of this Temple scroll is as it unfolds the courts from the Most Set-part to the Set-apart to the outer court and states purity laws more severe than the Pentateuch. Laws such as ‘Anyone who lies with his wife and has an ejaculation, for three days shall not enter anywhere in the city of the temple in which I shall install my name’ against what Turah states that whenever two come together in a sexual relationship, they need to bathe and are unclean until the evening. Also Turah never states that those dwelling within Yerushalam couldn’t have sex within marriage but the Temple scroll forbids even entrance into Yerushalam for three days.

The holiness extends out from the inner court of the Temple to encompass not only the other two temple courts, but takes in the entire city. 

Some scholars attribute the Temple Scroll to the isolated Qumran community, while others see no connection with the Qumran community; instead they see the work as a priestly (possible Zadokite) document that was hidden in a cave by Zealots during their flight from Jerusalem in 70 CE before the Roman destruction of the Temple.

You claim Yahusha followed a solar calendar and a day begins at sunrise, there is no evidence for your claims but there is a strong evidence he followed the evening to evening pattern for he also says of his possible coming in four watches beginning from the evening watch.

Mar 13:35 “Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming – in the evening or at midnight, or at the crowing of the cock, or in the morning,

It’s actually vice versa because the temple scroll was written during late Second temple period and many have fallen for the falsehood stated outside Yahuah’s dabar.

This shows you are not looking up Turah to see why 2Chr 36:21 says ‘in order to fill the word of יהוה by the mouth of Yirmeyahu, until the land had enjoyed her Sabbaths. As long as she lay waste she kept Sabbath, until seventy years were completed’

Please read Lev 25:3-6…every six years they were allowed to till their ground and eat and trade it’s produce but the SEVENTH year was a SABBATH year of rest for the land (not the fourth month corresponding to the 4^th day Shabbat you are observing as per the Temple scroll). In the 7^th year Shabbat rest of the land they were not to till the ground but eat of its produce of what grows up by itself and allow the poor of the land to eat of its produce. Also Lev 25: 8-12 says you shall number seven sabbaths of years unto yourself, SEVEN TIMES SEVEN YEARS and the 50^th year would be a jubilee and again in the jubilee year they were not to till their ground and eat of its produce of what grows of itself and allow the poor of the land to eat freely from the produce.

Turah is about compassion and Yasharal transgressed his Shabbat rest law of the land, hence Yahuah took the Yahudites outside the land for 70 years in captivity while the land rested for 70 years in what grew of itself and if you remember Nebuzaradan left the poor of the land and didn’t carry them into captivity. When in captivity all their beginning of months, Shabbats, sacrifices etc ceased. Pslams 137 clearly shows that they refused to sing the song of Yahuah in a strange land, while you do 😊

Lev 26:23  ‘And if you are not instructed by Me by these, but walk contrary to Me,

Lev 26:24 then I also shall walk contrary to you, and I Myself shall smite you SEVEN TIMES for your sins.

Lev 26:25  ‘And I shall bring against you a sword executing the vengeance of My covenant, and you shall gather together in your cities, and I shall send pestilence among you, and you shall be given into the hand of the enemy.

Lev 26:26  ‘When I have cut off your supply of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall bring back to you your bread by weight, and you shall eat and not be satisfied.

Lev 26:27  ‘And if in spite of this, you do not obey Me, but walk contrary to Me,

Lev 26:28  then I shall walk contrary to you in wrath. And I Myself shall punish you seven times for your sins.

Lev 26:29  ‘And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and eat the flesh of your daughters.

Lev 26:30  ‘And I shall destroy your high places, and cut down your sun-pillars, and put your carcasses on the carcasses of your idols. And My being shall loathe you.

Lev 26:32  ‘And I shall lay the land waste, and your enemies who dwell in it shall be astonished at it.

Lev 26:34  and the land enjoy its Sabbaths as long as it lies waste and you are in your enemies’ land. Then the land would rest and enjoy its Sabbaths.

Lev 26:35  ‘As long as it lies waste it rests, for the time it did not rest on your Sabbaths when you dwelt in it

See Lev 26:34-35……2 Chr 36:21 is fulfillment of what Yahuah told them he would do to them. In Lev 26:24 Yahuah tells them he would smite them SEVEN TIMES for their sins. While the punishment seemed to be severe but it was necessary to bring his remnant back to him in forgiveness. This is where Kepha got the idea of forgiving a brother who sins 7 times and asked Yahusha about it, but Yahusha said not 7 times but 70 x 7

Mat 18:21  Then Kĕpha came to Him and said, “Master, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”

Mat 18:22  יהושע said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

1Ki 6:1  And it came to be, in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Yisra’ĕl had come out of the land of Mitsrayim, in the fourth year of the reign of Shelomoh over Yisra’ĕl, in the month of Ziw, which is the second month, that he began to build the House of יהוה.

1Ki 6:38  And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, the eighth month, the house was completed in all its matters and according to all its plans. Thus he built it for seven years.

Shelemoh/Solomon began to build the temple of Yahuah in the 484th year after the children of Yasharal came out of Egypt (480 years had passed) and he built the temple for SEVEN YEARS and completed it in the eleventh year (of children of Yasharal coming out of Egypt) which mean 484 + 7 = 491 …the 491^st year is a Jubilee because if 7 x 7 = 49 and the 50^th year is a jubilee then 70 x 7 = 490 with the 491^st year as a jubilee spiritually.

1Ki 8:2  And all the men of Yisra’ĕl assembled to Sovereign Shelomoh at the festival in the month of Ěythanim, which is the seventh month.

2Ch 5:3  And all the men of Yisra’ĕl assembled to the sovereign at the festival, which was in the seventh month.

2Ch 5:4  And all the elders of Yisra’ĕl came, and the Lĕwites took up the ark,

2Ch 5:5  and they brought up the ark, the Tent of Meeting, and all the set-apart utensils that were in the Tent. The Lĕwite priests brought them up.

We have 1 Kings 6:38 recording that the house was completed in the eighth month Bul and we have 1 Kings 8:2 & 2 Chr 5:3 recording that the dedication happened in the 7^th month during the feast of Sukkot. We have 1 Kings 8:66 recording that Solomon sent the people away on the 8^th day after the Solemn assembly and we have 2 Chr 7:10 recording that it was the 23^rd day of the 7^th month he sent the people away to their tents. The beginning of the 23rd began at sundown; the end of the 22nd which was the last day. Solomon sent them to their tents at the end of the 22nd, or the start of the 23rd day.

1Ki 8:65  And Shelomoh at that time observed the Festival, and all Yisra’ĕl with him, a great assembly from the entrance of Ḥamath to the wadi of Mitsrayim, before יהוה our Elohim, seven days and seven days – fourteen days.

1Ki 8:66  On the eighth day he sent the people away. And they blessed the sovereign, and went to their tents rejoicing and glad of heart for all the goodness that יהוה had done for His servant Dawiḏ, and for Yisra’ĕl His people.

2Ch 7:8  And Shelomoh at that time observed the Festival seven days, and all Yisra’ĕl with him, a very great assembly from the entrance of Ḥamath to the wadi of Mitsrayim.

2Ch 7:9  And on the eighth day they held an assembly, for they performed the dedication of the altar seven days, and the festival seven days.

2Ch 7:10  And on the twenty-third day of the seventh month he sent the people away to their tents, rejoicing and glad of heart for the goodness that יהוה had done for Dawiḏ, and for Shelomoh, and for His people Yisra’ĕl.

When did the first seven of the fourteen days of the celebration begin? Would it have begun on the 8th day? Or would it mean that the two feasts would have run consecutively? The correct understanding is that the first seven day feast began before the Day of Atonement covering it (10^th day of the seventh month) a day extended for seven days which corresponds to what 2 Chr 7:9…for they performed the dedication of the altar seven days AND THE FESTIVAL (SUKKOT) seven days.

If 23^rd of the 7^th month he sent them away, it shows he observed Sukkot exactly as Turah stated on the 15^th day of the seventh month. We must minus 7 days from 15^th to understand that he spent 7 days dedicating the altar along with the people covering the day of Atonement. 

This was in accordance as Turah said the jubilee was to be sounded by the ram’s horn on the 10^th day of the Seventh month which is the Day of Atonement. (Lev 25:9) and this is in relation to the Sabbath of years.

 Lev 25:8 ‘And you shall count seven Sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years. And the time of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years.

Lev 25:9  ‘You shall then sound a ram’s horn to pass through on the tenth day of the seventh month, on the Day of Atonement cause a ram’s horn to pass through all your land.

Lev 25:10  ‘And you shall set the fiftieth year apart, and proclaim release throughout all the land to all its inhabitants, it is a Jubilee for you. And each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you return to his clan.

In summary of what we just learnt, 480 years passed from the children of Yasharal coming out of Egypt and in the 4^th year of his reign Shelemoh began building the temple i.e. 484 years and built it for 7 years in the 11^th year of the coming out of children of Yasharal i.e. 484 + 7 = 491 and it was completed in the eighth month i.e. Bul, the following year in the 7^th month he gathered Yasharal and dedicated the temple during the Day of Atonement followed by the feasting at Sukkot and the jubilee year is from sounding the ram’s horn on the 10^th day of Atonement to the next year 10^th day of Atonement we see Shelemoh perfectly following the 7 x 7 pattern (7 times pattern) concealed in the exact years of the children of Yasharal coming out of Egypt in a 70 x 7 pattern.

Why did Yahuah command Yasharal into a 70 year captivity, not more and not less?

Eze 4:5 “For I Myself have laid on you the years of their crookedness, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days. And you shall bear the crookedness of the house of Yisra’ĕl.

Eze 4:6 “And when you have completed them, you shall lie again on your right side and shall bear the crookedness of the house of Yehuḏah forty days, a day for a year. I have laid on you a day for a year.

Ezekiel was told to lie on his left side for 390 days to bear the iniquity of Yasharal for the symbolic 390 years as verse 6 says ‘’I have laid on you a day for a year’’ and for Yahudah to lie on the right side for 40 days which each day is for a year. So 390 + 40 =430 years which is well short of 490 days for years?

In order for 70 Sabbath years to be missed, Yasharal must have lived in Yasharal– without observing the Sabbath year – for a total of 490 years. This is because only one year out of seven is a Sabbath year – and 490 total years / 7 = 70 Sabbath years.

Ezekiel 4:1-6 prophecy shows the northern kingdom of Yasharal had failed to keep Alahym’s commandments (including the Sabbath year and the jubilees during the 390 years) for 390 years;

The southern kingdom of Yahudah had failed to keep Alahym’s commandments for 40 years (including the Sabbath year only because 40 years doesn’t attain a jubilee). Hence put together 390 + 40 = 430 years

As mentioned above, the land must rest on Jubilee years as well – and as a result, Jubilee years are also “Sabbath” years. Jubilee years fall within the seven year “Sabbath cycle”. Basically, each Jubilee year is also the first year of a new Sabbath cycle. So, during the course of 49 years, there will be 8 years in which the land must rest – the first year, which is a Jubilee year; and every seven years, which are Sabbath years

Northern tribes:

The following years will be years of rest, during each 49 year “group”: 1, 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, and 49 (Total 8)

and in the 390 years the following would be the jubilee years

1, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350 (Total 8)

Hence 8 x 8 = 64 years of Sabbath years and jubilees missed by the northern tribes

Southern tribes (Yahudah and Benyamyan):

 The following years of Sabbath rest 1, 7, 14, 21, 28, and 35 (Total 6 Sabbath years missed)

Hence 64 +6 = 70 years of captivity.

When we say that they missed we understand that they fully did not obey Yahuah’s commands as stated in Turah to not sow and reap in the 7th year and to release captives and restore in the 50th year as among them were the guym/nations or tribes who had turned their backs to Yahuah and were outwardly showing they were obeying the commands but their hearts were far away from loving Yahuah and his commands.

Their coming out of Egypt to the completion of the first temple to its dedication of 490 years shows the time (70 Sabbath years) they missed the Shabbat years and the Shabbat of years in a spiritual vs spiritual comparison. Hence as long as the first tabernacle followed by the first temple stood as types and shadow of the true temple i.e. Mashiyach in whom is the true rest because we look upto New Yerushalam the qodesh city where the Sabbath of years finds it’s fulfillment in him. A complete time when Yahuah takes his children into his forgiveness of 70 times 7.
