Are the Ten Commandments done away with?

There is a group in Australia teaching that since we have transitioned to the New Covenant and so did Yahuah, He has done away with the Old covenant and the entire OT is a historical document and the commands to follow are just 2 i.e. Love Yahuah with all your heart, mind, soul and strength and Love your neighbor as yourself. And that too not to use the name Yahuah or else you are part of the Yahuah only doctrine. Moreover, they also teach that since we are the temple of the Ruach Ha Qodesh, the temple worship is transitioned within us and yet their group member strums the guitar before every dining discussion with carnal songs which are not scripture based and their dining discussions is nothing but an assembly. I will touch base on all the deception they are teaching and trying to lead lone souls to believe lies arising out of this deception. Desiring to be teachers, they being babes have even gotten their women to teach and usurp authority and all their dining discussion and terrace talks are out of a carnal mind and opinion based and not scripture.

Question 1: Is the OT a historical document?

1Jn 2:7 Brethren, I write no renewed commandment unto you, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you have heard from the beginning.

Yahuchanan says that he is not writing a renewed commandment unto the assembly but an old commandment which they had from the beginning.

The renewed commandment he is referring to in 1John 2:8-12 is loving the brother as yourself which is a summing up of the old commandment and not a replacement commandment.

1Jn 2:8 Again, a renewed commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shines.
1Jn 2:9 He that says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness even until now.
1Jn 2:10 He that loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him.
1Jn 2:11 But he that hates his brother is in darkness, and walks in darkness, and knows not whither he goes, because that darkness has blinded his eyes.
1Jn 2:12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.

The danger lies in replacement theology, shunning the commandment itself which is the foundation of the Ruach working through the commandment either leading to life or death as the Ruach is hidden in the letter.

Heb 8:7 For if that first had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
Heb 8:8 For finding fault with them, he says, Behold, the days come, says Yahuah, when I will cut/karatay 𐤊𐤓𐤕𐤉 a Renewed/chadashah 𐤇𐤃𐤔𐤄 Covenant with the house of Yashar’el and with the house of Yahudah:
Heb 8:9 Not according to the covenant that I cut/karatay 𐤊𐤓𐤕𐤉 with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Mitsrayim; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, says Yahuah.
Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I shall cut/akarat 𐤀𐤊𐤓𐤕 with the house of Yashar’el after those days, says Yahuah; I will put my Torah into their mind, and write it in their hearts: and I will be their Elohiym, and they shall be to me a people:
Heb 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know Yahuah: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their Torahless deeds will I remember no more.
Heb 8:13 In that he says, A Renewed Covenant/chadashah 𐤇𐤃𐤔𐤄, he has made the first secondary/yashan 𐤉𐤔𐤍 . Now that which abides long is secondary/noshan 𐤍𐤅𐤔𐤍 from the ancient/𐤌𐤆𐤒𐤉𐤍 is ready to move to an extremity or utmost/𐤒𐤑𐤅.

The fault was found in them and not in the commandment/covenant as the Abrahamic covenant is eternal, the Torah of sin and death was enforced for Yasharal after the flesh because of the golden calf. There are some words we need to understand in the right perspective in Heb 8:7-13

karatay  𐤊𐤓𐤕𐤉: has the root word 'kar 𐤊𐤓' which means to dig out
chadashah 𐤇𐤃𐤔𐤄: chadash 𐤇𐤃𐤔 is a renewed month/crescent moon
yashan 𐤉𐤔𐤍: what was before the second. i.e. now secondary. shan 𐤔𐤍 means 'second/two/twice'
noshan 𐤍𐤅𐤔𐤍: nu 𐤍𐤅 or nuah 𐤍𐤅𐤄 means to abide for long. shan 𐤔𐤍 means 'second/two/twice'. Hence, 'noshan 𐤍𐤅𐤔𐤍' means 'abides long is secondary'
mazaqyan 𐤌𐤆𐤒𐤉𐤍: from the aged/ancient where mem as prefix is 'from'. zaqan 𐤆𐤒𐤍 H2204 & H2205 means to be old: - aged man, be (wax) old (man).
qatsu 𐤒𐤑𐤅: H7093 𐤒𐤑  from H7112 𐤒𐤑𐤅 move to an extremity or utmost/cut in pieces/to chop

Yahuah is letting us know that because He found fault with Yasharal and Yahudah, He will dig out a renewed covenant by writing the Torah on their minds and their hearts & not as the covenant He dug out with the fathers when He led them by His hand out of Egypt. Heb 8:13 should be understood in the correct perspective as it says by the renewal of the covenant, he has made the first secondary. Now that which abided for long as first is now second, moved from the aged/ancient position & is ready to move to an extremity or is broken down in pieces and those pieces have to be joined piece by piece to understand the covenant. If you notice the FIRST is moved as SECONDARY and is moved to the utmost end. The very same thing is stated by Yahuchanan, that he is not writing a renewed covenant but the one which is now made secondary.

Revised Hebrew Translation:

1Joh 2:7 My brother, I do not write a renewed commandment to you, but a secondary/yashanah commandment which you had from the beginning. The secondary/yashanah commandment is the Word which you have heard.

The secondary is the first which has been moved and is ancient as per Shaul in Hebrews 8:13. Yahuchanan says that this secondary commandment which was first is the word which you had and heard from the beginning. This can be complicated unless we understand the seconded voice of Yahuah in the first when He gave the Torah at Sinai.

Ex 20:18 All the people perceived the 𐤀𐤕 voices/qolot 𐤒𐤅𐤋𐤕 and the 𐤀𐤕 lightning flashes and the 𐤀𐤕 sound of the shophar and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood at a distance.

This is confirmed and understood better when we turn to the text of Deuteronomy where Masha/Moses records this as voice.

Deu 5:22 𐤀𐤕-These words YAHUAH spoke unto all your assembly in the Mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a magnificent/gadul voice/qol H6963: and he added no more. And he wrote them on two stones and delivered them unto me.
Deu 5:23 And it came to pass, when you heard 𐤀𐤕-the voice/qol H6963 out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that you came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders;
Deu 5:24 And ye said, Behold, YAHUAH ELOHAYNU has showed us 𐤀𐤕-his esteem and 𐤀𐤕-his greatness, and we have heard 𐤀𐤕-his voice/qol H6963 out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that ELOHIYM talks 𐤀𐤕-with man, and he lives.
Deu 5:25 Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear 𐤀𐤕-the voice of YAHUAH ELOHAYNU anymore, then we shall die.

Exodus 20:18 uses the word 'qolot 𐤒𐤅𐤋𐤕' which is the plural of 'qol 𐤒𐤅𐤋 ' and means voices whereas the singular 'qol 𐤒𐤅𐤋' is translated as 'voice'.

The detail given by the people in Exodus 20 that He spoke with “voices/qolot,” shows us more than one voice i.e., a literal command seconded by the ruach hidden in the command.  His “magnificent voice” was, in fact, the miraculous utterance of multiple voices being emitted from a HIM at once! When He spoke the Ten Commandments, although He alone was speaking, He was supernaturally uttering more than one word at the same time with the Ruach in the letter! This is nothing less than the gift of tongues, a miraculous form of speech, spoken by the Creator of all tongues, Himself! As He poured out His Torah, His Ruach used a speaking method that cannot be explained but HE demonstrated His own power to every single person there!

Hence, when we compare this with 1John 2:7 & Heb 8:13 we see what was below the surface was brought out as the first and the first was placed secondary as a base and the piece by piece of the secondary with the Ruach witness would help in gathering the entire picture of the covenant .

2Co 3:6 Who also has made us able ministers of the Renewed Covenant; not of the letter/aut 𐤀𐤅𐤕, but of the Ruach: for the letter/aut 𐤀𐤅𐤕 kills, but the Ruach gives life.
2Co 3:7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was full of esteem, so that the children of Yashar’el could not steadfastly behold the face of Mosheh for the glory of his countenance, which glory was to be done away:
2Co 3:8 How shall not the ministration of the ruach be rather be full of esteem?

The letter/aut 𐤀𐤅𐤕 H226: Is a sign/mark/token pointing to the object i.e. 'alaph tau 𐤀𐤕' H853.

'alaph tau 𐤀𐤕' H853in the demonstrative sense of entity; properly self & is the object itself.

Hence, when Shaul says the aut 𐤀𐤅𐤕 H226 kills, it is clear that the written or heard commandment/s pointed to what was beneath them i.e. the Ruach which gives life. Carnal man doesn't understand the commandment in the true Ruach intention but appeases his flesh by trying to obey it and fails without realizing it's true intent.

Heb 12:25 See that you refuse not him that speaks. For if they escaped not who refused him that spoke on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaks from heaven:
Heb 12:26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
Heb 12:27 And this word, yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

The Speaker is the same, He switched positions in a transition and so also the commandment/s. The first was made secondary and the secondary was made first to enable us to hear and understand the commandment/s by the Ruach witness. Hence, the commandment cannot be removed and shunned away by saying its historic.

Heb 4:2  For unto us was the Besorah preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

2. Is Yahuah dead or no more? Has the temple worship transitioned within us?

To understand this we must see the 5 words Shaul chose to speak in the assembly rather than the 10,000 words in an unknown language:

1Co 14:19 Yet in the assembly I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

Yahusha taught us that the Torah and the prophets hang on and are summarized by the two greatest commands:

1. Hear O Yasharal Yahuah our EL, Yahuah is One. You shall love Yahuah your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your knowledge and with all your strength.

2. Love your Neighbour as yourself

Mark 12:29 Yahusha answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Yisra’El! Yahuah our El, Yahuah is one.”

Mark12:30 “And you shall love Yahuah your El with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your knowledge, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment.”

Mark12:31 “Now The second is similar to it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.

Hence, we must look at the Ten commandments to categorize the 2 sets of commands.

Deut 4:13 So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, that is, the ten/asereth עסרת words/dabarym דברים.; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.

Deut 10:4 He wrote on the tablets, like the former writing, the 𐤀𐤕 ten/asereth עסרת words/dabarym דברים which Yahuah had spoken to you on the mountain from the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly; and Yahuah gave them to me.

Here was Shaul in the Corinthian assembly who by their unknown tongue were displaying they were getting revelations about who Yahusha is without giving an understanding to others. Hence, he upholds that the languages which spoke of the 'the great deeds of Elohim' were to the unbelieving to be incorporated into being a Messianic, while prophesying with understanding is for the believing, unto edification.

Acts 2:11 Krethim and Arabians, behold, we do hear them in our own languages speaking of the great deeds of Elohim.”

Hence, it related to the five commands or five words out of the ten words relating to the revelation of Yahusha (first 5 commands) & he rather in the assembly speak of the five words with understanding to edification rather than speak in ten thousand words in an unknown language. He brings an order of if any such thing happens, there has to be one who interprets. Hence, he breaks it to 5 words as its of the first 5 to the second 5 summed as 2 royal laws.

1Cor14:27 If anyone speaks in a language, let it be spoken two by two or three, and no more and one after another and let one interpret.

The Torah of the ten words is divided into 2 categories 1. Related to Yahuah and & 2. Related to our neighbour. The 5 words Shaul spoke of were the commands related to Yahuah in displaying LOVE which he elaborately spoke of in all his letters showing Yahusha is Yahuah, thus bringing edification to the set-apart ones. Yahusha summarized the ten working words into 2 categories as well showing us that He was and is the SPEAKER. The ten words are eternal and 5 have transitioned into HIM which we need eyes to see just how. The other 5 will be perfected in US when we find ourselves in the transition of the first 5 into HIM. We cannot love our neighbor as ourselves unless we LOVE HIM ABOVE LOVING EVEN OURSELVES AND OUR LOVED ONES.

Hence, lets see the 5 commands related to Yahuah only in this study:

Command 1:

Ex 20:2 I am Yahuah your El, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of slavery.

Ex 20:3 You shall have no other mighty ones before Me.

Command 2:

Ex 20:4 You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heavens above or what is on the earth beneath or what is in the water under the earth.

Ex 20:5 You shall not worship them nor serve them; for I, Yahuah your El, am a jealous El, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generations of those who hate Me,

Ex 20:6 but showing kindness to thousands, to those who love Me, and to those who keep My commandments.

Command 3:

Ex 20:7 You shall not take the name of Yahuah your El in vain, for Yahuah shall not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.

Command 4:

Ex20:8 Remember the Shabbat day, to keep it holy.

Ex20:9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,

Ex20:10 but the seventh day is a Shabbat of Yahuah your El; you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter, your male servant or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who is within your gates

Ex20:11 For in six days Yahuah made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore, Yahuah blessed the Shabbat day and made it holy.

Command 5:

Ex 20:12 Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land which Yahuah your El gives you.

Command 1:

Ex 20:2 I am Yahuah your El, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of slavery.

Ex 20:3 You shall have no other mighty ones before Me.

Rev 11:8 And their carcasses shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Mitsrayim, where also our Yah was impaled.

Mat 2:13 And when they had left, see, a messenger of יהוה appeared to Yosěph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the Child and His mother, and flee to Mitsrayim, and remain there until I bring you word, for Herodes is about to seek the Child to destroy Him.”
Mat 2:14 And rising up, he took the Child and His mother by night and departed for Mitsrayim,
Mat 2:15 and remained there until the death of Herodes, to fill what was spoken by יהוה through the prophet, saying, “Out of Mitsrayim I have called My Son.”

Hos 11:1 “When Yashara’ěl was a child, I loved him, and out of Mitsrayim I called My son.
Hos 11:2 “They called to them, so they went from their face. They slaughtered to the Ba‛als, and burned incense to carved images.

Mitsrayim/Egypt is a synonym used for physical Yerushalayim and this can be understood by Rev 11:8. When it was prophesied that Out of Mitsrayim I have called my Son, it is clear that the call is to enter Spiritual Yerushalayim and those occupied in the letter as Hos 11:2 says "They slaughtered to the Baals & burned incense to carved images. A carved image may not necessarily be a literal idol, but a carnal understanding of the commandment. The command 'out of the house of slavery' shows slavery to the Torah of sin and death and the mighty ones served are the principalities and powers of the Levvim priesthood which stood in shadows and types i.e. in mediatorship.

Command 2:

Ex20:4 You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heavens above or what is on the earth beneath or what is in the water under the earth.

Ex20:5 You shall not worship them nor serve them; for I, Yahuah your El, am a jealous El, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generations of those who hate Me,

Ex20:6 but showing kindness to thousands, to those who love Me, and to those who keep My commandments.

Rev 2:14 But I have a few things against you, because you have there them that hold the doctrine of Bil`am, who taught Balaq to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Yashar’el, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

When Balaq called Bilaam to curse the people of Yasharal, this was Yahuah's response to Bilaam

Num 22:9 And Elohim came to Bil‛am and said, “Who are these men with you?”
Num 22:10 And Bil‛am said to Elohim, “Balaq, son of Tsippor, sovereign of Mo’aḇ, has sent to me, saying,
Num 22:11 See, a people has come out of Mitsrayim and cover the surface of the land. Come now, curse them for me. It might be that I am able to fight against them and drive them out.’ ”
Num 22:12 And Elohim said to Bil‛am, “Do not go with them. You do not curse the people, for they are blessed.”

The children of Yasharel couldn't be cursed but them sinning against Yahuah could bring a curse on themselves. The counsel of Bilaam was to tempt them through the women of Midian, and behold, these caused the children of Yasharal to commit trespass against Yahuah in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of Yahuah.

Num 31:15 And Mosheh said to them, “Have you kept all the women alive?
Num 31:16 “Look, they are the ones who caused the children of Yashar’ěl, through the word of Bil‛am, to trespass against יהוה in the matter of Pe‛or, and there was a plague among the congregation of יהוה.
Num 31:17 “And now, kill every male among the little ones. And every woman who has known a man by lying with a man you shall kill.

The word 'stumbling-block H4383 𐤌𐤊𐤔𐤅𐤋 makashul' properly means anything over which one falls or stumbles, and then anything over which anyone may fall into sin, or which becomes the occasion of one's falling into sin, thus weakening them. The meaning here is, that it was through the instructions of Bilaam that Balaq learned the way by which the Yasharalites might be led into sin and might thus bring upon themselves the plague. In the Pergamos assembly they held on to the doctrine of Bilaam and the doctrine is evident that they were allowed to mingle with unbelievers or take an unbelieving wife/husband, causing a stumbling block in fornication through idolatry thus violating Yahuah's command not to make for yourself an idol.

2Co 6:14 Be you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness?
2Co 6:15 And what concord has Yahusha Ha’Mashiach with Beliya`al? Or what part has he that believes with an infidel?
2Co 6:16 And what agreement has the Temple of Elohiym with idols? For you are the Temple of the living Elohiym; as Elohiym has said, I will dwell in them and walk in them; and I will be their Elohiym, and they shall be my people.
2Co 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be you separate, says Yahuah, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
2Co 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says Yahuah Tsaba’oth.

Rev 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against you, because you suffer that woman Iyzebel, which calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
Rev 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
Rev 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit fornication with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
Rev 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the called-out assemblies shall know that I am he which searches the minds and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

The name Iyzebel comes from 2 root words 1. Iy 𐤀𐤉 H335 which means 'where/whence' & 2. zabal 𐤆𐤁𐤋 H2082 'to dwell with/reside'. The assembly at Thyatiera had a woman/women teachers indicated by the phrase 'which calls herself a prophetess' causing fornication and idolatry in Baal/lord worship, i.e. through a false representation of who Yahuah is.

1Co 14:34  Let your women she be/𐤕 silent/ shatqanah 𐤔𐤕𐤒𐤍𐤄 in the assemblies, for they are not allowed to speak, but let them subject themselves, as the Torah also says

Where does the Torah tells us the women to be silent in the assemblies? The entire Torah doesn't have a direct quote asking the women to be silent in the assemblies but this can be understood in the order Yahuah ordained for her.

Gen 3:16  To the woman He said, “I greatly increase your sorrow and your conception – bring forth children in pain. And your desire is for your husband, and he does rule over you.”

The Hebrew word for silent used is 'shatqanah 𐤔𐤕𐤒𐤍𐤄' where 'shath 𐤔𐤕' means 'sit', 'taqanah 𐤕𐤒𐤍𐤄' means 'order' & 'qanah 𐤒𐤍𐤄' means 'keep'.
Shaul the emissary was referring to the order that the woman has to keep her estate and he also refers to this order in 1Tim 2:11-15

1Ti 2:11  Let a woman learn in silence/dumam 𐤃𐤅𐤌𐤌 H1826, in all subjection.
1Ti 2:12  But I do not give permission /rashuth 𐤓𐤔𐤅𐤕 to a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, rather, to be in silence/dum 𐤃𐤅𐤌 H1826.
1Ti 2:13  Because Aḏam was formed first, then Ḥawwah.
1Ti 2:14  And Aḏam was not deceived, but the woman, having been deceived, fell into transgression.
1Ti 2:15  But she shall be saved in bearing/ladathah 𐤋𐤃𐤕𐤄 of sons/banayam 𐤁𐤍𐤉𐤌 if they continue in belief, and love, and set-apartness, with sensibleness.

The word 'rash 𐤓𐤔' means 'head' & 'shath 𐤔𐤕' means 'sit' and hence 'rashuth 𐤓𐤔𐤅𐤕' means 'sit on the head'. To make sense the translators translated it as 'permission' as 'rashayun 𐤓𐤔𐤉𐤅𐤍' in Hebrew means 'grant/permit'. The woman fell in transgression being deceived and lost her first estate and shall be saved in 'bearing of sons ' (referring to Mashiyach likeness subjection to the Father & sons of ruach). She has to follow the order given to her.

A background of the Omri dynasty:

1Ki 16:29 In the thirty-eighth year of Asa sovereign of Yahuḏah, Aḥaḇ son of Omri became sovereign over Yashar’ěl. And Aḥaḇ son of Omri reigned over Yashar’ěl in Shomeron twenty-two years.
1Ki 16:30 And Aḥaḇ son of Omri did evil in the eyes of יהוה, more than all those before him.
1Ki 16:31 And it came to be, as though it had been a light matter for him to walk in the sins of Yaroḇ‛am son of Neḇat, that he/Ahab took as wife Iyzeḇel the daughter of Ethba‛al, sovereign of the Tsiḏonians. And he went and served Ba‛al and bowed himself to it,
1Ki 16:32 and raised up a slaughter-place for Ba‛al in the house of Ba‛al, which he had built in Shomeron.

Who was Amri/Omri?

Jeroham/Yahuram king of Yahudah married the granddaughter of Omri/Amri the king of Yasharel. Ahaziah/AchazYahu was a produce of that integrated marriage. In both the texts 2Kings 8:26 & 2 Chr22:2 we read 'And his mother’s name was AthalYahu, the daughter of Amri/Omri'. She was not the direct daughter of Omri/Amri but his granddaughter. She was the direct daughter of Ahab/Achab.

2Ki 8:26 Two and twenty years old was Achazyahu when he began to reign; and he reigned one year in Yerushalayim. And his mother's name was Athalyahu, the daughter of Omriy king of Yashar’el.

2Ch 22:2 Forty and two years old was Achazyahu when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Yerushalayim. His mother's name also was Athalyahu the daughter of Omriy.

2Chr21:6 And he (Yahuram/Jehoram) walked in the way of the kings of Yashar’ěl, just as the house of Achab/Ahab did: for Achab’s/Ahab's daughter was the wife to him, and he did evil in the sight of Yahuah.

Omri/Amri whose genealogy is not mentioned (he was the commander of the army) became king of Yasharel & Ahab/Achab was his direct son, which means if Yahuram/Jehoram king and son of Yahushapat/Jehoshapat the king of Yahudah married Ahab/Achab's daughter, Ahaziah/AchazYahu was both son from lineage from Omri from his mother as well as from the lineage of David from his father. While lineage is attributed to the father's lineage only, it's important to understand the perspective of the writer of 2 Chronicles as he was pointing out to a non set apart dynasty. Ahaziah/AchazYahu also walked in the way of the house of Ahab/Achab and did evil in the eyes of Yahuah.

1Ki 21:25 Indeed, there never was anyone like Aḥaḇ who sold himself to do evil in the eyes of יהוה, because Iyzeḇel his wife stirred him up.
1Ki 21:26 And he acted very abominably in following idols, according to all that the Amorites had done, whom יהוה dispossessed from before the children of Yashar’ěl

2 Kings 8:27 And he (Ahaziah/AchazYahu ) walked in the way of the house of Ahab/Achab, and did evil in the sight of the Yahuah, as did the house of Ahab/Achab: for he was the son by law of the house of Ahab/Achab.

While in our culture we would call Yahuram/Jehoram as son in law of Ahab/Achab as he married Ahab's/Achab's daughter, here in 2 Kings 8:27 mentions Ahaziah/AchazYahu as the son in/by law of the house of Ahab/Achab and its a clear indication that he is tied up also to the lineage of Omri/Amri dynasty.
Iyzebel's influence was seen in the entire dynasty in seducing everyone into Baal worship and extreme wickedness, the influence was so strong that it carried over to Yahudah and Yahuah executed judgment on the house of Ahab through Jehu/Yahu.

A misrepresentation of who Yahuah is, is Baal worship and idolatry. Yahuah says "visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generations of those who hate Me" & we can see Yahuah visiting Omri's dynastry in eliminating them

Omri (commander whose genealogy is not mentioned), Ahab (son of Omri), Yahuram king of Yashar’ěl (son of Ahab), AtalYah (married to Yahuram son of Yahushapat of Yahudah) & AchazYahu (son of Yahuram king of Yahudah & AtalYah). Hence, we see Yahuah in the commandment showing that He visits the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the 3rd and 4th generation and we see this in the Omri dynasty.

Command 3:

Ex 20:7 You shall not take the name of Yahuah your El in ruin/shua 𐤔𐤅𐤀 H7723, for Yahuah shall not leave him unpunished who takes His name in ruin/shua 𐤔𐤅𐤀 H7723.

Jer 23:25 I have heard 𐤀𐤕 what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
Jer 23:26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? Yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;
Jer 23:27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Ba`al.

These are the roots of Mystery Babylon. Changing Elohim's name is forbidden in scripture. And Jeremiah 23:26-27 is very clear on this. Giving Elohim a name which is not VALIDATED by him, is taking his name in VAIN. It's a direct violation of the 10 commandments.

Pr 30:4 Who has ascended up into heaven, or descended? who has gathered the wind (ruach) in his fists? who has bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?

Who was the one who descended and ascended into heaven as stated in Proverbs 30:4

Eph 4:10 He (Messiah) that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things).

Joh 12:28 Father, bring esteem to your name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both esteemed it, and will esteem it again.

Yahusha prayed that Elohim esteem His name. Elohim speaks of esteeming his name TWICE. So, let's look at when did Elohim reveal to Masha/Moses that his name was 'YAHUAH' and what does the name mean?

Yahuah comes from the root word 'hayah 𐤄𐤉𐤄' (H1961) which means 'to be/become'. In what context Elohim reveals to Masha/Moses his name can be understood when we read Exo 6:1

Ex 6:1 ¶ Then the YAHUAH said unto Masha, Now shall you see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.

With a mighty hand Elohim would deliver his people from the hand of Pharaoh and Elohim fulfilled this when he cast the horse and the rider in the depths of the sea.

Ex 15:4 Pharaoh's chariots and his host has he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.
5 The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.
6 Thy right hand, O YAHUAH, is become esteemed in power: your right hand, O YAHUAH, has dashed in pieces the enemy.

Isa 53:1 ¶ Who has believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the YAHUAH revealed?

Joh 12:37 ¶ But though He (Messiah) had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:
38 That the saying of YashaYahu the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, Adonay, who has believed our report? and to whom has the arm of Yahuah been revealed?

Yahuah is a Ruach and his 'ARM' is an act of him 'BECOMING' (H1961 'hayah 𐤄𐤉𐤄') which we see fulfilled in Messiah who is the Right hand of Elohim which is become esteemed in power as stated in Exo 15:6 because by it he dashed in pieces the enemy.

Re 19:15 And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty

Re 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers (Greek suntribo G4937: to shatter): even as I received of my Father.

In the context of John 12:28 when we compare scriptures with scriptures, we see that Elohim glorified his name 'YAHUAH' the first time when he delivered Yashar’ěl out of Egypt by his mighty hand and the second time by the name 'YAHUSHA' which is rooted and come from 'YAHUAH' and means 'YAHUAH HAS BECOME MY SALVATION'

Php 2:9 Wherefore Elohim also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
 10 That at the name of 'Yahusha' every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Yahuah is Yahusha Ha’Mashiach, to the esteem of Elohiym the Father.

Nothing is more annoying than when someone calls you by a name that is not your name. It would be insulting if it had repeatedly been made clear what your name was. But after they had been warned not to call you by any other name, especially a derogatory name you would be furious.

I am YAHUAH, that is My name; and My glory will I not give to another, neither My praise to graven images. (Isaiah 42:8).

Man is carnal and doesn't understand the things of Elohim. Man doesn't understand why Elohim gave us a name. Messiah bears the name of YAHUAH and came in his NAME.

Joh 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive.

These are the very words of Messiah. You will not see (Greek word G3708 horao: which means discern clearly/behold) me unless you confess that I am come in the name of 'YAHUAH'. Those who can't see/discern this/behold this are under the influence of Mystery Babylon because the name change from 'Yahusha' to 'Iseous' was done by Rome.

Mt 23:39 For I say unto you, You shall not see (Greek: G3708 horao) me henceforth, till you shall say, Blessed is he that comes in the name of Yahuah.

Ps 118:26 Blessed be he that comes in the name of YAHUAH, we have blessed you out of the house of YAHUAH.

Eze 36:20 And when they entered unto the heathen, where they went, they profaned/chalal 𐤇𐤋𐤋 H2490 my set-apart name, when they said to them, these are the people of Yahuah, and are gone forth out of his land.
Eze 36:21 But I had pity for my set-apart name, which the house of Yashar’el had profaned among the heathen, where they went.
Eze 36:22 Therefore say unto the house of Yashar’el, thus says Adonai Yahuah; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Yashar’el, but for my set-apart name's sake, which you have profaned/chalal 𐤇𐤋𐤋 H2490 among the heathen, where you went.
Eze 36:23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned/chalal 𐤇𐤋𐤋 H2490 among the heathen, which you have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am Yahuah, says Adonai Yahuah, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

While changing the name of Yahuah is evident among Christianity & Hebrew roots movement, it's evident that Ezekiel uses the word translated in English as 'profaned' in Hebrew as 'chalal 𐤇𐤋𐤋 H2490'

chalal 𐤇𐤋𐤋 H2490: to bore a hole, to wound, to dissolve or dilute, stain, to play the flute or pipe, player on instruments.

1Ki 1:39 And Tsadoq the priest took a horn of oil out of the Tabernacle, and anointed Shelomoh. And they blew the shofar; and all the people said, Elohiym save King Shelomoh.
1Ki 1:40 And all the people came up after him, and the people piped/chalal 𐤇𐤋𐤋 H2490 with pipes/chalyal 𐤇𐤋𐤉𐤋 H2485, and rejoiced with great joy, so that the earth rent with the sound of them.

Psa 87:6 Yahuah shall count, when he writes up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.
Psa 87:7 As well the singers as the players on instruments/ chalal 𐤇𐤋𐤋 H2490 shall be there: all my springs are in you.

The phrase to the chief musician in Hebrew at the beginning of many Psalms is ‘la ma natsach’ 𐤋𐤌𐤍𐤑𐤇 and Asaph was the chief musician who recorded as Dawid gave the Psalms he wrote to him, thus Asaph the seer became the custodian of the Psalm for a repurpose in worship.

1Ch 16:7 And on that day Dawiḏ first gave thanks to יהוה by the hand of Asaph and his brothers: But Asaph which in Hebrew means ‘gatherer 𐤀𐤎𐤐’ H623 Was not the receiver of worship, it was Yahusha concealed who was at the receiving end until that Psalm became a melody in our hearts to worship the Adon as Shaul says singing Pslams, hymns and spiritual songs making melody in your heart to the Adon.

Asaph 𐤀𐤎𐤐 H623 means collector/gatherer. The word sap 𐤎𐤐 /lip also means ‘gather’, it’s interesting to see when the ‘alaph’ is added to it, it shows a wonderful picture of a collector/gathererThat which was fallen away was gathered/aspah in Mashiyach. The man Asaph who was the chief musician who collected the psalms written by Daud and other singers was in the office of Mashiyach in whom we sing and make melody in our hearts unto Yahuah. The melody is gathered in our hearts as we lift up the praises to Yahuah

Eph 5:19  speaking to each other in psalms and songs of praise and spiritual songs, singing and striking the strings in your heart to YAHUAH,

Eph 5:20 giving thanks always for all to Elohim the Father, in the Name of our Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 Messiah,

So just as Yahuah was in a transition to be manifest in a body prepared, until then the Levvim who were appointed were the gatherers to sing. Dawid aligned the divisions of these priests once the ark of the covenant came to rest. He made divisions of them as to who would be in the sacrificing positions, gatekeepers, musicians, ministers over grains and bread offerings etc. These melodies written would find the intended focus of worship i.e. Yahusha in the HEART.

Col 3:16 Let the word/dabar of the Mashiyach richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with pleasure in your hearts to Yahuah.

The booth/sukkah of Daud which was fallen down is raised up in Mashiyach

Acts 15:16 After these things I shall return, and I shall rebuild the tabernacle of David which has fallen, and I shall rebuild its ruins, and I shall restore it,
Acts 15:17 so that the rest of mankind may seek Yahuah, and all the Gentiles upon whom My name is called on them, said Yahuah, who does all these things

That which was balal sapah (confused lips/gathering) now is asaph/gathered in Mashiyach. Indeed the worship is in the Ruach and is not PHYSICAL MUSIC/MELODY where Yasharel in dispersion is profaning/diluting (chalal 𐤇𐤋𐤋) his set-apart name through a carnal form of worship in repetitive chorus, strumming to carnal tunes with carnal words, using His incorrect name & titles in a song, rock band etc. True form of worship is the word of Mashiyach richly dwelling within us and sharing that wisdom with one another.

The Temple worship lacked this and was in an outward form and so have the Christian & Hebrew circles picked up the flesh appeasement.

Command 4:

Ex20:8 Remember/zakar 𐤆𐤊𐤓 H2142 the Shabbat day, to keep it set-apart.

The Hebrew word 'zakar 𐤆𐤊𐤓 H2142 ' translated as 'Remember' is also the same word for 'Male' H2415 referring to Yahusha who is the Bright and Morning star, the Day star who rises in our hearts, the Sun of Righteousness who rises with healing in His wings. The 7th Day Rest is in him. Speaking of Joshua, the writer of Hebrews says If Joshua would have given them Rest, there wouldn't be another day spoken of rest. Hence, the Day Star Yahusha is that Day, He is the Male/zakar that we must remember and not look up to the sun, moon & stars calendars to determine the Day.

Heb4 :8 For if Yahushua (Joshua) had given them rest,
He would not have spoken about another day after that
Heb 4:9 Therefore, there remains a record or call/aud 𐤏𐤅𐤃 H5749 of Shabbat rest for the people of Elohim.

In the new creation order in New Yershalayim, the Lamb is the LIGHT and there is no night there and we shall see His face. He is the One who ushers us into the Day of Yahuah in a rest that we cannot get especially being in pagan lands.

The command came with who is to observe the literal Shabbath 'who is within your gates'

The Shabbat, feasts were tied to the Shemitah? The Shemitah of the land had the 7th day rest, 6 years sowing and 7th year rest for the land where everyone eats what grows of itself. Every 7 x 7 + 1 = 50 was year of jubilee announced during Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) and this was also a sequential Shabbath rest for the land as the 49th and 50th year no sowing and reaping and all lands sold in distress returned to their owners, slaves returned to their homes etc. All this can be read in Leviticus 25.

When Yahudah was carried into captivity here is what scripture records:

2Ch 36:20 And those who escaped from the sword he exiled to Baḇel, where they became servants to him and his sons until the reign of the reign of Persia,
2Ch 36:21 in order to fill the word of יהוה by the mouth of Yirmeyahu, until the land had enjoyed her Sabbaths. As long as she lay waste she kept Sabbath, until seventy years were completed.

It all ceased as the poor of the land who were left behind ate what grew of itself.

Hos 2:11 “And I shall cause all her rejoicing, her festivals, her New moons, and her Sabbaths, even all her appointed times, to cease,

Psa 137:1 By the rivers of Baḇel, There we sat down and we wept As we remembered Tsiyon.
Psa 137:2 We hung our lyres Upon the willows in the midst of it.
Psa 137:3 For there our captors Asked us for the words of a song, And our plunderers for rejoicing, saying, “Sing to us a song of Tsiyon!”
Psa 137:4 How could we sing the song of יהוה On foreign soil?

How could we sing the song of Yahuah on foreign soil?

The Shemitah ceased. What does Yahuchanan say in Revelation?

Rev 18:23 “And the light of a lamp shall not shine in you any more at all. And the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you any more at all. For your merchants were the great ones of the earth, for by your drug sorcery all the nations were led astray.

Shaul likens the present Yerushalayim of his time as Hagar in bondage with her children and says we are born from Yerushalayim from above.

Gal 4:25 for this Haḡar is Mount Sinai in Araḇia, and corresponds to Yerushalayim which now is, and is in slavery with her children.
Gal 4:26 But the Yerushalayim above is free, which is the mother of us all.

If anyone is in Mashiyach Yahusha is a new creation, old things are passed away and behold all things become new. The new creation order is tied to New Yerushalayim not as the old covenant tied to the physical Shemitah. The physical day progressed to find the fulfilment in Mashiyach, the Day star, the Sun of righteousness, Bright and Morning Star as He is called. The very word Zakar the Shabbath day is Remembering Him with groaning to be clothed from above. Yahuah didn’t want us to be in His wrath for disobedience, so He drove our fathers away from the Shemitah which tied them to these laws which were hard to bear. There were so many laws that tied to it like a woman in her mensuration, or a discharge from male or female defiled them to not observe the physical day.

Yahuchanan saw Mashiyach among 7 lamp stands which shows the Shemitah is in Him. The sign of the sun, moon stars darkening is Yasharal in deep darkness who have gone back to the letter imitating Judaism and not understanding the dispersion. Please look up Yoseph s dream where he saw the sun, moon and 11 stars bowing down to him (he himself was the 12th star)

Has the command ceased? No as there remains a record or call of Shabbat rest for us. The literal command was made secondary as He made His people through dispersion beyond the reach of the enforcement of the commandment, and the Ruach in the command was made known (as the first) to see what we need to look at.

Heb 4:9 Therefore, there remains a record or call/aud 𐤏𐤅𐤃 H5749 of Shabbat rest for the people of Elohim.

Command 5:

Ex 20:12 Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land which Yahuah your El gives you.

Honor your father and mother that your days may be prolonged in the land is understood when the Psalmist says in Psalms 137:5-6

If I forget you, O Yerushalayim, let my right hand forget its skill. If I do not remember you, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth, if I prefer not Yerushalayim above my chief joy.

Shaul calls the Yerushalayim from above as 'mother of us all'.

Gal 4:26 But Yerushalayim which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

Also, the command in Gen 2:24 " Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh" shows us Yahusha leaving His Fatherhood and Heavenly Yerushalayim and coming in the tent fashioned as us to cleave unto us because of His deep love for us, He expects us to respond to Him in the same love. This mystery Shaul the emissary speaks about in Eph 5:30-32 points to Mashiyach. The life-giving commandment is concealed in the letter and is made first. It's also noteworthy that in Yahuah's order in the first 5 commands its Yahuah who comes first, and then the rest. Only Yahuah can supersede His commands as He denied Himself to cling to us. Hence in response to that love, Yahusha says "Unless you love ME above your father, mother, wife, brother and sister more than Me does not deserve me.

Matt10:37 “the one loves his father, or his mother more than Me does not deserve Me, and the one loves his son, or his daughter more than Me does not deserve Me.”

Luke14:26 “If someone comes to Me and does not hate his father and his mother and his wife and his children and his brothers and his sisters, yes, and even his own life, he is not able to be My disciple.”

Rev 2:4 “But I have this against you, that you have left your first love.”

Doesn't it clearly again show that Yahuah = Yahusha as the object of our love above all else is Yahusha?

Act 7:38  “This is he who was in the assembly in the wilderness with the Messenger who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, who received the living/chayim Oracles/dabaryam to give to us,

Stephen testifies that the assembly in the wilderness received the LIVING ORACLES to give TO US. Not a historic document but living oracles. The Hebrew renders it as chayim dabaryam and means life giving words.

Was Yahusha David's literal Son?

We have many teaching that Yahusha was a literal Son of David and came from his sperm and deny the virgin birth, thus, putting Yahusha on a common ground as we are without realizing that David in Pslams 51:5 says "Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me".

They also teach Yahusha was designated as the Son of Elohim by the resurrection from the dead just as Adam was in an incorrupt state (before he sinned) and not a literal Son as Elohim can't have a Son. They are denying the Adon who bought them. This study is to see facts from scripture for a clearer understanding for those in doubt.

The promise to David:

2Sa 7:12 “When your days are filled and you rest with your fathers, I shall raise up your seed after you, who comes from your inward parts, and shall establish his reign.

2Sa 7:13 “He does build a house for My Name, and I shall establish the throne of his reign forever.

2Sa 7:14 “I am to be his Father, and he is My son. If he does perversely, I shall reprove him with the rod of men and with the blows of the sons of men.

2Sa 7:15 “But My loving-commitment does not turn aside from him, as I turned it aside from Sha’ul, whom I removed from before you.

2Sa 7:16 “And your house and your reign are to be steadfast forever before you – your throne is established forever.”

The Davidic covenant is the most misunderstood among the Yahudites and the Hebrew roots movement who deny the virgin birth. For they take 2 Sam 7:12 literally to show Yahusha came from the inward parts of David i.e. his sperm and further teach that since Yoseph was a descendant of David, he had sexual relationship with Miriam and the child Miriam bore was Yahusha.

Whereas the promise is dual, one in a literal lineage and one in typology. When you look at 2Sam 7:12-14 we see it speaking of Shelemoh who literally built a temple and verse 14 is clearer in seeing the chastisement on David's seed if he does perversely. Yahuah says He will reprove him with a rod of men and with the blows of the sons of men. The promise that David's house and his reign would be established forever would only be fulfilled by Yahusha ha Mashiyach. Hence, Yahusha falls into the typology of David as He came from the innermost/inward parts of Elohim.

Joh 16:27 For the Father himself loves you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came from Elohiym.

Joh 16:28 I came forth/exerchomai G1831 from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world and go to the Father.

Exerchomai G1831

While the Greek word exerchomai G1831 is also used as a generic term (literally or figuratively) for 'out/come/proceed/depart', it usually is an understanding of 'coming out forth/out of' which cannot be missed.

The word has 2 root words ex G1537 & erchomai G2064

1. ex G1537 A primary preposition denoting origin (the point whence motion or action proceeds), from, out (of place, time or cause; literally or figuratively; direct or remote):

2. erchomai G2064 to come or go (in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively): - accompany, appear, bring, come enter, fall out, go, grow, X light, X next, pass, resort, be set

Hence, when Yahusha said He came forth from the Father, He accompanied the Father bodily in Himself as 'erchomai' also means ' to accompany/to bring/appear/come enter'. This fits so perfectly when we understand that it pleased the Father to dwell in fullness bodily. Hence, He is fulness of Elohim bodily. One cannot find the Father beyond Him.

Col 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

Col 2:9 For in him dwells all the fulness of Elohiym bodily.

That is why He told Philip "Have I been so long time with you, and yet have you not known me, Philip? He that has seen me has seen the Father; and how say you then, show us the Father? "

Joh 14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him and have seen him.

Joh 14:8 Philip said unto him: Adonai, show us the Father, and it suffices us.

Joh 14:9  Yahusha said unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet have you not known me, Philip? He that has seen me has seen the Father; and how say you then, show us the Father?

Joh 17:8 For I have given unto them the words which you gave me; and they have received them and have known surely that I came out/exerchomai G1831 from you, and they have believed that you did send me.

Monogenes Theos: Only begotten Elohim

Joh 1:18  את No man has seen Elohiym at any time; the Hebrew: yachiyd (Greek: monogenes theos), which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.

John 1:18: The early Greek, Aramaic manuscripts say ‘Only Begotten Elohim” (Greek words: monogenes theos)

Aramaic says: ‘the Only Unique One/𐤉𐤇𐤉𐤃𐤀 (yachyada) Alaha (Aluah)

Later Greek manuscripts say “ monogenes uihos/huios “which means “Only begotten Son” based on Father Son relationship, adding to the text based on John 3:16 and other places where it says of Him as “Only begotten Son”

‘yachyid’ The root words in it are as follows:

יחד which means together, alike, likewise, unite, join (H3162) 𐤉𐤇𐤃 -yachad

חיד or  חידה  which means a riddle (H2420) dark saying, hard question, dark sentence, proverb, dark speech 𐤇𐤉𐤃 or 𐤇𐤉𐤃𐤄-chaydah

חי  which means life (H2416) 𐤇𐤉-chay

יד which means 'hand' 𐤉𐤃-yad

Looking at the root words we see that we are united by His hand into his life through the parabolic/riddle language.

Coming back to David:

Eze 37:24 while Dawiḏ My servant is sovereign over them. And they shall all have one shepherd and walk in My right-rulings and guard My laws and shall do them.

Eze 37:25 “And they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Ya‛aqoḇ My servant, where your fathers dwelt. And they shall dwell in it, they and their children and their children’s children, forever, and My servant Dawiḏ be their prince forever.

Jer 30:9 And they shall serve יהוה their Elohim and Dawiḏ their sovereign, whom I raise up for them.

Luk 1:30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Miryam: for you have found favor with Elohiym.

Luk 1:31 And, behold, you shall conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and shall call his name Yahusha.

Luk 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of El Elyon: and Yahuah Elohiym shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

Luk 1:33 And he shall reign over the house of Ya`aqov forever; and of his Kingdom there shall be no end.

1Ki 8:18 And Yahuah said unto El־David my father, whereas it was in your heart to build a house unto my name, you did well that it was in your heart.

1Ki 8:19 Nevertheless you shall not build the house; but your son that shall come forth out of your loins, he shall build the house unto my name.

David H1732 spelled in Hebrew as דוד  or דויד or דיד as per H1730 which means 'Beloved/lover/friend/love/uncle'

Rom1:2 which He promised in advance through His prophets in the Set-Apart Scriptures.

Rom1:3 concerning the Word of His Son, be found/ginomai G1096 of a seed of Dawid according to the flesh,

Rom1:4 who was declared the Son of Elohim with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Ruach ha Qodesh, He was Yahusha the Mashiyach our Adon (Master).

The Son was of Elohim who was promised in advance through His prophets in the Set Apart Scriptures and was found of a seed of David according to the flesh. KJV translates the Greek word ginomai G1096 as 'made of the seed of David'. The Greek word used for seed is 'sperma' G4694 where we get our English word 'sperm'. Those who do not believe the virgin birth literally take the word 'sperm' to show Yahusha came from the 'sperm' of David, whereas the term is generic and also used for seed of the field. Now you tell me which plant or shrub has 'sperm'? e.g. Matt 13:24, 27, 32, 37, Mark 4:31.

Luk 3:38 Which was the son of Enosh, which was the son of Sheth, which was the son of A’dam, which was the son of Elohiym.

Adam is termed here as the son of Elohim. Was Adam begotten Elohim (monogenes theos)? Not at all. Adam fell in line with the Son of Elohim and was the figure of Him who was to come i.e. Yahusha.

Rom 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from A’dam to Mosheh, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of A’dam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

1Co 15:45 And so it is written, the first man A’dam was found/ginomai G1096 a living soul; the last A’dam was made a quickening ruach.

Again, here in 1Corn 15:45 Adam 'ginomai G1096' is translated by KJV as 'was made' and the translators added the same context to Yahusha in italics which is not there in the original. With the same logic of understanding the Greek word 'ginomai G1096' and if it's added to Yahusha then it should read as 'the last Adam was found a quickening Ruach'.

This clearly shows us that Adam termed as 'son of Elohim' was figurative as Yahuah breathed in him the breath of lives (plural).

Gen 2:7 And Yahuah Elohiym formed the man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of lives/chayim; and the man became a living soul

Adam became a representation of all those who are earthy while Yahusha the heavenly man became a representation of all those born of the Ruach i.e. the ones who would believe in Him & acknowledge that He is the Son of Elohim who is the only begotten Elohim (monogenes theos/yachyid (only begotten)/yachayada Alaha).

Traditionalists teach Luke's genealogy is from Miriam (Mary). Luke's genealogy is not from Mary. Genealogies are never from women. Secondly, we need to look at Luke 3:23. The Hebrew renders as he is reckoned/counted as the son of Yoseph. Was He the actual son of Yoseph. No. He was conceived by the power of the Ruach ha Qodesh. Hence, in the lineage He is the firstborn, but from Elohim, ascending all the way to come in humanity to be counted as a Son of promise to keep the name of Yasharal alive. That is why Shaul in 1Corn 15:45 calls Him as "..the last Adam was found a LIFE GIVING RUACH" Some translations say "...as reckoned by law, son of Yosĕph, of Ěli/Heli,"

Luke3:23 And Yahusha began His work, and He was about thirty years old. He was reckoned/counted as (Hebrew: H2803 chashab חשב) the son of Yoseph, the son of Eli,
The Greek word used is G3543 nomizō which also means 'to deem or regard: - suppose'.

This is clear that Yahusha was supposedly the son of Yoseph who a descendant of David was and thus supposedly Yahusha was placed in the lineage as the Son of David and not a literal Son, for He was Son of Elohim as begotten Elohim.

Also, the promises mentioned in Ee 37:24-25, Jer 30:9 which says while Dawiḏ My servant is sovereign over them & they shall serve him has to be decoded that it says of Yahusha and not David and remember we saw the name David H1732 spelled in Hebrew as דוד 𐤃𐤅𐤃 or דויד 𐤃𐤅𐤉𐤃 or דיד 𐤃𐤉𐤃 as per H1730 means 'Beloved/lover/friend/love/uncle' & Eph 1:6 says we have been accepted in the Beloved

Eph1:5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Yahusha the Mashiyach to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

Eph 1:6 to the praise of the glory of His favor which He freely bestowed on us in/Bi 𐤁𐤉 His BELOVED (Hebrew: Dido דידן 𐤃𐤉𐤃𐤅).

That is why the emissary Kepha spoke of David that he is both dead and buried and that the oath was referring to Mashiyach Yahusha.

Act 2:29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

Act 2:30 Therefore being a prophet and knowing that Elohiym had sworn with an oath to him, את that of the fruit of his loins (Hebrew: chalats H2504, Greek: osphus G3751), according to the flesh, he would raise up Mashiach to sit on his throne.

chalats 𐤇𐤋𐤑 H2504 is same word as H2502 & means to deliver, equip (for fight); present, strengthen: - arm (self), (go, ready) armed (X man, soldier), deliver, draw out, make fat, loose, (ready) prepared, put off, take away, withdraw self & hence H2504 says it's a seat of vigor/in a sense of strength. While the word is used literally, it is also used figuratively as verses which state that certain prophets and kings put a sackcloth around their loins where the same word is used for loins.

David in his old age lost his vigor and was forbidden by his men to go out to battle with them so that he would be preserved on the throne. With Kepha confirming that David is both dead and buried and his sepulchre is with us today is to show that as a prophet he spoke of the oath Elohim made to him that he would raise up Maschiyach on his throne. The Lion of Yahudah would live forever and is also called 'El-Gibbor' i.e. Mighty Elohim (Isaiah 9:6).

The Greek word osphus G3751 means of uncertain affinity; the loin (externally), that is, the hip; internally (by extension) procreative power: - loin.

Here again the Greek word is used for Yahuchanan the Immerser wearing a girdle around his loins, Eph 6:14 speaking of the armor of Elohim, Shaul the emissary says "Stand therefore, having your loins/osphus G3751 girt about with truth" & Kepha uses the word in 1 Pet 1:13 figuratively asking us to gird up the loins/osphus G3751 of our mind.

The word is also used figuratively about Levi who being in priesthood receive tithes from the people, being in the loins of his father Abraham when Malchitsedeq met him and figuratively paid the tithe to Malchitsedeq (Heb 7:5,10).

Matt 22:41 And it came to pass when the Prushim were assembled, Yahusha asked them, saying,

Matt 22:42 “What do you say about the Mashiyach? “Whose son is He?” And they said to Him, “The son of Dawid.”

Matt 22:43 He said to them, “Then how could Dawid, by the Ruach, call Him ‘Adon (Master),” when he said

Matt 22:44 Yahuah said to My Adon (Master), ‘Sit at My right hand until I put your enemies your footstool for your feet?’

Matt 22:45 “Now If Dawid calls Him ‘Adon,’ how is he, His son?”

In Yahusha's words itself questioning the rulers asks them if Messiah is the Son of David, then how could David by the Ruach call him Adon? This clearly shows that He was the Adon who was born into the lineage of David and not his literal son. David falls into the lineage of Yahusha's Malchitsedeq priesthood and not vice versa.

Heirs to David's throne:

A first glance at the genealogies of Matthew 1 & Luke 3 side by side shows a contradiction as the list of the genealogy from Daud/David is where the problem lies, here is the problem:

The problem lies as Matthew’s lineage shows the lineage from Shelemoh who was the son of David he got from Bathsheba and Luke’s genealogy records the genealogy from Nathan who was also Daud’s/David’s son. There is no contradiction in Yahuah’s dabar, to understand the genealogies better we must read and understand what this means.

Luk 3:23 And when יהושע Himself began, He was about thirty years of age, being, as reckoned by law, son of Yosĕph, of Ěli/Heli,

Mat 1:16 And Yaʽaqoḇ brought forth Yosĕph the husband of Miryam, of whom was born יהושע who is called Messiah.

How could Yoseph have two different fathers Yaaqob and Eli/Heli with two different genealogies?

In Luke 3:23 an emphasis is added to let us know that Yoseph was not the immediate son of Eli/Heli, the emphasis can be drawn out from the writing 'as reckoned by law' Matthew 1:16 shows his immediate father Yaaqob from the lineage of Shelemoh.

The emphasis 'as reckoned by law' lies in understanding the Torah where a dead brother's wife is given seed by his living brother to keep his name alive in Yasharal. You may refer to the Torah portion Deut 25:5-6 to understand the Torah of the dead brother. It is evident that Yoseph's immediate father was Yaaqob (Matt 1:16) because the emphasis added there is different as he was the occupying son of Heli to keep his name alive in Yasharal. Heli would have died childless and Yaaqob would have given seed to his wife to keep his name alive in Yasharal and hence, the parenthesis in Luke 3:23 'as reckoned by the law'

Genealogies are never from a woman, however when a woman is mentioned in a genealogy alongside her husband it has a significance. It means that the son born to them was as per the Torah of the dead husband which scripture is either silent or is explicitly describing that the produce through the relationship represented a tying up of 2 tribes. One from his actual father and one from the Torah of the dead husband of the woman to keep his name alive in Yasharal.

Rth 2:1 And Naʽomi had a KINSMAN on her husband’s side, a man of great wealth, of the FAMILY of Elimeleḵ, and his name was Boʽaz.

Elimelek was an Ephrathite and if Boaz was a relative to Elimelek, it's evident that he was both an Ephrathite as well as a Yahudite denoted by Rachab alongside her husband Salmon. No where else scripture tells us Rachab was married, and her first husband died and that she re-married Salmon. But how else could their son Boaz be a relative of Elimelek an Ephrathite if Rachab's first husband wouldn't be an Ephrathithe?

Mat 1:5 And Salmon (Yahudite) brought forth Boʽaz by Racḥaḇand Boʽaz brought forth Oḇĕḏ by Ruth, and Oḇĕḏ brought forth Yishai.

Boaz was able to redeem Ruth because he was fit as a kinsman redeemer, being an Ephrathite and a close relative of Elimelek. There was one closer KINSMAN to Elimelek than Boaz who refused to redeem Ruth and Boaz as per Torah gave him the first preference to redeem the right of a Kinsman.

Rth 3:12  And now it is true that I am your near kinsman: howbeit there is a kinsman nearer than I.
Rth 3:13  Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform unto you the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman's part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to you, then will I do the part of a kinsman to you, as Yahuah lives: lie down until the morning.

Mat 1:5 And Salmon (Yahudite) brought forth Boʽaz by Racḥaḇ, and Boʽaz brought forth Oḇĕḏ by Ruth, and Oḇĕḏ brought forth Yishai.

Ruth is mentioned alongside Boaz in the same verse, and scripture explicitly shows us that Ruth was the wife of Machlun the Ephrathite who had died and left her childless and hence, Obed her son would be the son of Machlun the Ephrathite to keep his name alive in Yasharal as per the Torah of the dead person.

1Sa 17:12 Now David was the son of that Ephrathiy of Beyt Lechem Yahudah, whose name was Yishai; and he had eight sons: and the man went among men for an old man in the days of Sha’ul.

David was the direct son of Yishai with a tag now of 2 lineages as per Ephrayim as well as Yahudah. Hence, Matthew begins the genealogy to show Yahusha is the Kinsman redeemer through David of Eprahyim who represented the first born berekah for Yasharal and Yahudah.
Abraham is mentioned because the promise was of the SEED i.e. Mashiyach made to him and not of seeds as of many. And it was said "in you all the nations shall be blessed"

Matt1:6 Yishay fathered Dawid the king. Dawid fathered Shelomoh by the wife of UriYah.

It is interesting to see that Bathsheba's name is not mentioned but she is termed here as 'the wife of UriYah' and this is because David had UriYah killed in battle and the son in Bathsheba's womb was through adultery and cannot be accounted for a son as per Torah of the dead husband. For UriYah was alive when Bathsheba was pregnant. After the son died and so did UriYah, scripture attributes Shelemoh as the son of UriYah as the Torah of the dead husband to keep his name alive and UriYah was a Yahudite, a Hittite by geographical location.
I have touch based on this in my note. Here is a short transcript:

The discrepancy is, how Mashiyach is attributed to be the heir seated on David's throne, was it through Shelemoh or through Nathan?

While most of the biblical scholars attribute that Mashiyach came through the lineage of Shelemoh based on the following promise stated in 1 Ch 22:9-13 as an immediate inference:

1Ch 22:9 ‘See, a son is to be born to you, who is a man of rest. And I shall give him rest from all his enemies all around, for Shelomoh is his name, and peace and rest I give to Yisra’ĕl in his days.
1Ch 22:10 ‘He does build a house for My Name, and he is to be My son, and I am to be his Father. And I shall establish the throne of his reign over Yisra’ĕl forever.’

The first blush meaning seems to clearly show that Shelemoh's throne over Yasharal will be forever because of the immediate inference, but there is much depth to what is stated. Also, Shelemoh was called as Beloved of Yahuah as Yahuah loved him.

2Sa 12:24 And Dawiḏ comforted Bathsheḇa his wife and went into her and lay with her. So, she bore a son, and he called his name Shelomoh. And יהוה loved him,

Notice scripture names here Bathsheba to be David's wife and the son born was not a first-born son of David but a second son who was Shelemoh. The first son had already died.

2Sa 23:34 Eliphelet son of Aḥasbai, son of the Maʽaḵathite, Eliyam son of Aḥithophel the Gilonite,

1Ch 3:5 And these were born to him in Yerushalayim: Shamah, and Shoḇaḇ, and Nathan, and Shelomoh  four by Bathshua the daughter of Ammi’ĕl. H5988 (father of Bathsheba also Eliyam)

Eliyam was one of the mighty men of king David and so was UriYah. We get a clue that Eliyam was the son of Ahithophel who a chief counsellor of David was and was a Gilonite (the one who suicided as Absalom who self-proclaimed himself as a king didnt accept his counsel). Giloh was a place in Yahudah and its evident that they were all Yahudites just as David was. Hence, Ahithophel was the grandfather of Bathsheba.
There was a need to switch from Shelemoh to someone else in the lineage and this switch is shown by Luke with Yekonyah whose loan son was Shealtiel. The switch also ended the kings ruling and switched to the governor system in Yahudah post the captivity. (for details, please refer to my note: Tents of Shem: Understanding the genealogy of Matthew and Luke (dsouzashodan72.blogspot.com)

What is important to see here is scripture placed Shelemoh as last in the sons of Bathsheba in 1Chr 3:5.
In this note I have shared how Abraham, Shem were not firstborn of their fathers, but they were placed above their brothers in the first born berekah. Numerous other Messianic ancestors, such as Seth, Yitshaq, Yaaqob, Yahudah, Yahusaph, Ephrayim, Perets, Masha, David, etc. were not firstborn sons but received the firstborn berekah. Shelemoh being placed as last in the sons who were heirs to David's throne is a mystery which we are seeing decoded.

The switch from Shealtiel ties to Nathan: Remember Matthew's genealogy goes from Abraham all the way down to Mashiyach (descent) and Luke's genealogy goes in an ascent to Mashiyach from Elohim. He is the end points of the ladder Yaaqob saw where Messengers were ascending and descending on (John 1:51). Luke shows the beginning from Elohim where He was as Yahuah and Matthew shows the descent down to Him as the Son of Man.

The switch: When we compare Luke 3:27 & Matt 1:12 we see a contradiction in the first blush meaning. But we must understand that Yekonyah died childless. In YarmeYahu 22:28-30 he is termed as KonaYahu and a curse is put on him that he would die childless. Hence, Neri is the loan son in his lineage who kept his name alive in Yasharal while YakonYah/KonaYahu himself died childless as prophesied of him.

Jer 22:28 Is this man Konyahu a despised broken idol? Is he a vessel wherein is no pleasure? Wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?
Jer 22:29 O earth, earth, earth, hear the Word of Yahuah.
Jer 22:30 Thus says Yahuah, write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling anymore in Yahudah.

Luke 3:27 the son of Yahuchanan, the son of Reysha, the son of Zerubbabel, the son of Shealti’El, the son of Neri,
Luke 3:28 the son of Malki, the son of Addi, the son of Qosam, the son of Elmadam, the son of Er,
Luke 3:29 the son of Yahushua (Joshua), the son of Eliezer, the son of Yorim, the son of Mattath, the son of Lewi,
Luke 3:30 the son of Shimeon, the son of Yahudah, the son of Yoseph, the son of Yonam, the son of Eliaqim,
Luke 3:31 the son of Malah, the son of Manna, the son of Mattatah, the son of Nathan, the son of Dawid,

Matt 1:12 After the exile to Babel: YekonYahu fathered Shealti’El, and Shealti’El fathered Zerubbabel.

And Neri's lineage is tracked from Nathan to David. In the ZacharYah prophesy we see house of Nathan mourning for the Son as one that is in bitterness over a FIRSTBORN. Where is Shelemoh's house in this mourning?

Zec 12:10 I shall pour out on the house of Dawid and on the inhabitants of Yerushalam, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they shall look on Me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they shall be bitter over Him as one that is in bitterness over a firstborn.
Zec 12:11 In that day there shall be great mourning in Yerushalam, like the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the plain of Megiddon.
Zec 12:12 “And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the family of the house of Dawiḏ by itself, and their women by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their women by themselves.

According to Yahuah’s curse on Yakonayah he would be destitute and none of his descendants sitting on the throne of David would prosper or rule anymore in Yahudah. Hence, this lineage couldn’t bring forth the Mashiyach. In the 2 genealogies listed some of the sons listed there are not immediate sons of their fathers but descendants. I’m listing just the portions of it to make a point

Matthew                    Luke
Yeḵonyah
Addi
Meleḵi
Neri
She’alti’ĕl
She’alti’ĕl
Zerubbaḇel
Zerubbaḇel

1Ch 3:16 And the sons of Yehoyaqim: Yeḵoanyah H3204 his son and Tsiḏqiyah his son.
1Ch 3:17 And the sons of Yaḵonayah H3204 the captive: She’alti’ĕl his son,
1Ch 3:18 and Malkiram, and Peḏayah, and Shenatstsar, Yeqamyah, Hoshama, and Neḏaḇyah.
1Ch 3:19 And the sons of Peḏayah: Zerubbaḇel and Shimʽi. The sons of Zerubbaḇel: Meshullam, and Ḥananyah, and Shelomith their sister,

According to 1Chr 3:17 Shealtiel is the son of Yekonyah, also, Zerubbabel is listed in both Matthew and Luke genealogy as the son of Shealtiel but is listed as the son of Pedayah, the son of Yakonayah. There is no contradiction in scriptures, the scroll of Chronicles only lists the descendants who carried on their father’s name and lineage as per Torah of the dead man’s name to be kept alive or as per the chief ruler to identify the lineage, and many of them listed in Chronicles are not immediate sons. Moreover, Yakonayah had no sons and this we can know from 2Kings 24:14-15

2Ki 24:14 And he exiled all Yerushalayim, and all the officers and all the mighty brave men – ten thousand exiles – and all the craftsmen and smiths. None remained except the poorest people of the land.
2Ki 24:15 And he exiled Yahoyaḵin H3078 to Baḇel. And the sovereign’s mother, and the sovereign’s wives, and his eunuchs, and the leading men of the land he exiled from Yerushalayim to Baḇel.

Here he is named as Yahoyakin H3078 which means the same as ‘Yahuah will establish firm’ When the king of Babylon carried him away captive, there is no mention of his sons which means that 1Chr 3:17-19 were not his sons but borrowed sons as per Torah. Shealtiel’s father listed in Luke’s genealogy is mentioned as Neri.

Luk 3:27 of Yoḥanan, of Rephayah, of Zerubbaḇel, of She’alti’ĕl, of Neri,

And this lineage is from Nathan, David’s son

1Ki 5:5 “And see, I intend to build a house for the Name of יהוה my Elohim, as יהוה spoke to my father Dawiḏ, saying, ‘Your son, whom I set/nathan H5414 on your throne in your place, he does build the house for My Name.’

Shelemoh built the physical house while Nathan built the spiritual house. If you notice the house of Dawid includes Nathan as Nathan was his son but ZecharYah mentioned the David's clan twice because Nathan was not the successor of Daivd. He by the Ruach keeps the difference between the royal seed which eventually died out as YechonaYah was the last of the kings of Yahudah and post exile there was no king in Yahudah but Governor's rule and Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel was a governor. While the physical seed took David's throne, Yahuah was silently building the house of Dawid through Nathan and made the switch at Neri who was the father of Shealtiel.

Zec 12:12 “And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the family of the house of Dawiḏ by itself, and their women by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their women by themselves.

While the house of Dawid is one, Yahuah deliberately shows us the difference to show us the switch from Shelemoh's kingly theocratic lineage to Nathan's lineage of the governing ruler

Mic 5:2  “But you, Bĕyth Leḥem Ephrathah, you who are little among the clans of Yehuḏah, out of you shall come forth to Me the One to become Ruler/Mashal H4910 in Yisra’ĕl. And His comings forth1 are of old, from everlasting.”

H4910 mashal 𐤌𐤔𐤋 means governor: A primitive root; to rule: - (have, make to have) dominion, governor, X indeed, reign, (bear, cause to, have) rule (-ing, -r), have power.

Matthew is precise in quoting Micha's prophecy showing us that Yahusha was also a Governor

Mat 2:6 And you Beyt Lechem, in the land of Yahudah, are not the least among the princes of Yahudah: for out of you shall come a Governor/Mashal, that shall rule my people Yashar’el.

Gen 45:26 And they told him, saying, “Yosĕph is still alive, and he is governor/mashal 𐤌𐤔𐤋 H4910 over all the land of Mitsrayim.” And Yaʽaqoḇ’s heart ceased, for he did not believe them.

While Yahusha is the King of kings (Melek Hamlakim) & Master of masters (Adon ha adoniym), the attribution as governor is to show that Elohim gave His Son as a loan son into David's lineage as a gift, and yes, the word nathan 𐤍𐤕𐤍 H5414 in Hebrew means 'gift/to give/lend/trade/let out', also, we saw the word David in Hebrew means 'Beloved/loved'.

John 3:16 “For the Elohim loved those from ancient time/ha olam 𐤄𐤏𐤅𐤋𐤌 with an abundant love, to the extent that He gave/nathan 𐤍𐤕𐤍 His only/yachid 𐤉𐤇𐤉𐤃 Son so that all who believes in Him shall not perish but rather live eternal life. (Revised translation)

Olam H5769 𐤏𐤅𐤋𐤌 properly concealed, that is, the vanishing point; generally time out of mind (past or future), that is, (practically) eternity; frequentative adverbially (especially with prepositional prefix) always: - always (-s), ancient (time), any more, continuance, eternal, (for, [n-]) ever (-lasting, -more, of old), lasting, long (time), (of) old (time), perpetual, at any time, (beginning of the) world (+ without end)

Olam is generally an eternal time from past to present to without end and gives us an understanding His purpose for His chosen whom He loved from ancient times with a perpetual love never ending.

Yahusha is called as Yahuah Goel i.e. our Kinsman redeemer and David was made the promise as David represents both Ephraim (through Torah of a dead brother son) i.e. a tribe which represents Yasharal as Ephraim received the first born berekah as well as Yahudah. That is why He is able to relate to each and every one of us from the 12 tribes as our Kinsman.
