The Covering karub- Part 1

Eze 28:16 “By the greatness of your trade you became filled with violence within, and you sinned. So I thrust you from the mountain of Elohim, and I destroyed you, O covering/H5526 sakak kerub/H3742 karub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
The above verse is said to have been spoken of Shatan and many translators have attributed Shatan to be once an angel/karub who fell by transgression and became the enemy of Alahym. There are no scriptures backing their claim as no scripture speaks of a testing program for Shatan and his demons ever. The testing program was for MAN.
In fact Yahusha said about Shatan that he was a murderer from the beginning.
Joh 8:44 “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you wish to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it.
2Pe 2:4 For if Elohim did not spare the messengers who sinned, but sent them to qatsbay/base hariym/mountain, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be kept for judgment,
2 Peter 2:4 again is a biggest translation error depicting the ones sent to Tartarus (Greek word) into chains of darkness were fallen angels whereas the ones sent to the base of the mountain (qatsbay hariyam) were those who rebelled against Yahuah by making a golden calf. You may read the entire account in Exodus 32 where 3000 people died at the base of the mount Sinai which clearly shows that the messengers were not angels but men who rebelled against Yahuah.
The word malak is also used for ordinary men who were messengers.
Jude1:6 And the messengers which did not keep their/ma service/sharat H8334, but left their habitation, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day,
1Joh3:8 the one that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of the Elohim appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil
There was not a day/moment from the day shatan was created that he didn’t sin. So the messengers who left their service/sharat were men who served Yahuah in the outward form of the letter who fell in disobedience.
2Pe 2:2 And many shall follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of,
2Pe 2:3 and in greed, with fabricated words, they shall use you for gain. From of old their judgment does not linger, and their destruction does not slumber.
2Pe 2:4 For if Elohim did not spare the messengers who sinned, but sent them to the base of the mountain, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be kept for judgment,
2Pe 2:5 and did not spare the world of old, but preserved Noaḥ, a proclaimer of righteousness, and seven others, bringing in the flood on the world of the wicked,
2Pe 2:6 and having reduced to ashes the cities of Seḏom and Amorah condemned them to destruction – having made them an example to those who afterward would live wickedly,
2Pe 2:7 and rescued righteous Lot, who was oppressed with the indecent behavior of the lawless
2Pe 2:8 (for day after day that righteous man, dwelling among them, tortured his righteous being by seeing and hearing their lawless works),
Coming back to 2 Peter 2:2 where Kepha speaks of many following the destructive ways of the false teachers and in these passages, we must maintain the consistency that it speaks of judgment of men and not angels. If you look at the passages carefully Kepha speaks of the judgment of the messengers who were sent to the base of the mountain and then speaks of the Noahic flood where he destroyed men off the face of the earth and then speaks of judgment of Sodom and Amorah. If we insert the messengers to be angels who were judged it breaks the chain of consistency here. Moreover, the translators got the words qatsbay hariyam translated as Tartarus which is a Greek word and it’s absolutely wrong.
So when we look at the Ezekiel passages speaking of Man to be a sakak karub is paradox. Paradox is a figure of speech which is a seemingly absurd or contradictory statement or proposition which when investigated may prove to be well founded or true.
(****paradox is a figure of speech which a statement or proposition despite sound (or apparently sound) reasoning from acceptable premises, leads to a conclusion that seems logically unacceptable or self-contradictory ***)
Wisdom, beauty apart from Messiah is not perfect wisdom or beauty and hence the language is PARADOX.
Eze 28:2 “Son of man, say to the prince of Tsor, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “Because your heart is lifted up, and you say, ‘I am Ěl, I sit in the seat of Elohim, in the heart of the seas,’ whereas you are a man, and not Ěl, though you set your heart as the heart of Elohim!
Can Adam be compared to Alahym’s elect Daniel who was the wisest among all the ancients and understood the hidden mysteries of Alahym? So much as so that Alahym told him to shut up the words and seal the scroll as only the wise would understand? Daniel was the wisest of all who understood the events of Great Tribulation as shown to him.
Eze 28:3 Behold, are you wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from you: 4 With your wisdom and with your understanding you have gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into your treasures:
Da 12:4 But you, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the scroll even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
If Adam would be wiser than Daniel he would submit himself to the will of Alahym and not rebel against him, he wouldn’t desire to be like Alahym.
Hence the words covering karub is paradox and not that he ever was one who covered the mercy seat.
Exo 25:20And the keruḇim/H3742 shall be spreading out their wings above, covering/sakak H5526 ayl/rising H5921 over the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward each other, the faces of the keruḇim turned toward the mercy seat.
The same word covering/sakak H5526 is used here in Exodus 25:20 depicting the pattern according to Torah of Masha where the ark of the covenant had a mercy seat above it with the two wings of the karub overshadowing the mercy seat. While the karubs stood covering the mercy seat, figuratively they stood guarding the pattern of Yahuah as seen in Gen 3:24
Gen 3:24 and He drove the man out. And He placed keruḇim at the east of the garden of Ěḏen, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.
Eze 28:16 “By the greatness of your trade you became filled with violence within, and you sinned. So I thrust you from the mountain of Elohim, and I destroyed you, O covering keruḇ, from the midst of the stones of fire.
Yahuah is said to have rode upon a karub and he flew on the wings of the wind.
Ps 18:10 And he (Yahuah) rode upon a karub, and did fly/H5774 auph: yea, he did fly upon the wings/kanaph H3671 of the wind.
Fly: Auph H5774

Adam was the imitation of the true pattern and that’s why he is called a covering/sakak karub
Gen 1:26 And Elohim said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the livestock, and over all the earth and over all the creeping creatures that creep on the earth.”
Gen 1:27 And Elohim created the man in His image, in the image of Elohim He created him – male and female He created them.
The word ‘sakak’ H5526 has the root word ‘sukkah’ which means cover or booth.

Shatan accused Yob before Yahuah that he made a hedge/suk around him.
Job 1:9 And Satan answered יהוה and said, “Is Iyoḇ fearing Elohim for naught?
Job 1:10 “Have You not made a hedge/suk H7753 שׂוּךְ around him, and around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.
Psa 91:4 He covers/sakak H5526 שָׂכַךְ you with His feathers/abarah H84 אֶבְרָה, And under His wings you take refuge; His truth is a shield and armour.
The word ‘ábarah’ has the root words ‘’AB’’ which means ‘’Father’’ and ‘’Rah’’ which means ‘’fear’’. He covers us with his fatherly fear.
The word ‘kanaph’H3671 has the root word ‘’aph’’ which means ‘’wing’’ and we saw the word fly/auph H5774 which is the same word.
Eze 28:2 Son of man, say to the leader of Tsor H6865 צוֹרThus says Adonay Yahuah, Because your heart is lifted up and you have said, I am el (deity), I sit in the seat of elohim (deities) in the heart of the seas; Yet you are a man and not El, although you make your heart like the heart of Elohim.
The leader of Tsor/tsur is a man but he thinks highly of himself making his heart like the heart of Alahym.
It’s interesting to see that the word ‘tsur’ also means ‘rock’ and Yahusha is said to be the ‘rock’. H6697 צוּר
1Cor 10:4 and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual/ha ruakh rock/tsur which followed them; and the rock/tsur was the Mashiyach.
Exo 17:6 “See, I am standing before you there on the rock/tsur H6697 in Ḥorĕḇ. And you shall smite the rock/tsur H6697, and water shall come out of it, and the people shall drink.” And Mosheh did so before the eyes of the elders of Yisra’ĕl.
And Philippians 2 we read we are asked to have the mind of Mashiyach who though was in the blood likeness of Alahym took upon himself the blood likeness of Adam and became obedient to the point of death on the stake.
Phil 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in the Mashiyach Yahusha,
Phillipians 2:6. ‘asher /Who ‘aph ki/moreover -hayah/exist b/in d’muth/blood likeness ha/of ’Elohim/Alahym lo/not’-chashab/design lo/if l’shalal/to spoil heyotho/to be shaweh/equal l/to ’Elohim/Alahym.
In plain English: Phil 2:6 Who moreover existed in the blood likeness of Alahym not designed to spoil to be equal to Alahym.
Phillipians 2:7. ki ‘im/But-hi/behold ph’shiyt/spreaded ‘eth/alaph tau-`ats’mo/himself wa/and yil’bash/took upon d’muth/blood likeness `ebbed/servant wa/and y’hiy/became domeh/blood like li/of b’ney/son ‘adam/Adam wayi/and he matse/strengthened’ bi/in th’kunatho/measure k/of ’ben/son ‘adam/Adam.
In plain English Phil 2:7 But behold spreaded alaph tau himself and took upon blood likeness of a servant and became blood like of son of Adam and he strengthened in the measure of the son of Adam.
The word to word translation put together:
Phil 2:6 Who moreover existed in the blood likeness of Alahym not designed to spoil to be equal to Alahym.
Phil 2:7 But behold spreaded alaph tau himself and took upon blood likeness of a servant and became blood like of son of Adam and he strengthened in the measure of the son of Adam.
The Abary words are amazing like damuth/damah which means ‘blood likeness’. The word also has the root ‘muth’ which means ‘death’. The verses mean that he was the exact substance of Alahym in existence but was designed to not be equal to Alahym because he spread himself out of what he was taking himself the blood likeness of a servant and became like the son of Adam strengthening himself in the pattern of the son of Adam.
Takan (same word used in Phil 2:7) means weigh/measure/sum/pattern
The measure/sum/pattern of the flesh stated that all flesh shall come to him in worship:
Ps 65:2 O You who hear prayer, to You all flesh/basar come
Isa 66:23 And it shall be from Chodesh to Chodesh and from Shabbat to Shabbat, All flesh/basar shall come to bow down before Me, says Yahuah.
Heb 2:14 Therefore, since the children partakers of flesh/basar and blood/dam, He/Yahusha Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,
Heb 2:15 and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives
Yahusha became the pattern of those who dwell in the flesh and he had to be obedient to the pattern as all flesh has to come before Yahuah to worship.
Yahusha is the only one who can take us beyond the veil of the flesh/basar into the Ruach and that’s why be became the pattern of the blood likeness of Adam so that he could marry us and take us into his existence of the blood likeness of Alahym. These are deep things and need spiritual discernment of comparing spiritual things with spiritual in scriptures.
Eph 5:31 “For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” 32 This secret is great, but I speak concerning Messiah and the assembly.
1 Corin 6:16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a whore is one body? For He says, “The two shall become one flesh.” 7 And he who is joined to the Master is ONE SPIRIT
If he has to translate us from flesh to spirit he had to become in every way like us.
2Cor 5:16 Therefore from now on we recognize no man according to the flesh/basar; even though we have known the Mashiyach according to the flesh/basar, yet now we know Him in this way no longer
2Cor 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in the Mashiyach, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Heb 10:19 So, brothers, having boldness to enter into the Set-apart Place by the blood of יהושע, 20 by a new and living way which He instituted for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh/basar,
The prophecy of the takan- pattern/weigh/measure/sum required that one be weighed exactly as the likeness of blood/damuth of son/ban Adam who was in the blood likeness of Alahym in existence and it was written in the roll of the scroll about him.
Heb 10:5 Therefore, coming into the world, He says, “Slaughtering and meal offering You did not desire, but a body/guyah You have prepared for Me. 6 “In ascending offerings and offerings for sin You did not delight.7 “Then I said, ‘See, I come – in the roll of the scroll it has been written concerning Me – to do Your desire, O Elohim
So all those passages you quoted clearly show that he was the pattern of the basar/flesh as written and how could he not obey to be the exact same measure of Adam.
Rom 5:14 But death reigned from Aḏam until Mosheh, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Aḏam, who/Adam is a type of Him/Yahusha who was to come.
Rom 5:15 But the favourable gift is not like the trespass. For if by the one man’s trespass many died, much more the favour of Elohim, and the gift in favour of the one Man, יהושע Messiah, overflowed to many.
Hebrews 10:5-7 quotes from
Psalms 40:6 Slaughtering a and meal offering You did not desire; You have opened my hearing/revelation (azan); Ascending offering and sin offering You did not ask for. 7 Then I said, “See, I have come; In the roll of the scroll it is prescribed for me.8 I have delighted to do Your pleasure, O my Elohim, And Your Torah is within my heart
KJV says ‘’...You have opened my ears’’

The opening of the azan/hearing of who Yahusha is not for all but the elect only. Only the elect understand who he was/is while the rest are blinded.
Eze 28:12 Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tsor and say to him, Thus says Adonay Yahuah, You seal/ khatham H2856 the measure/takan H8508, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty
This man of Tsor is compared to Adam who was in Adan/Eden who is after the flesh/basar i.e. man from dust. The language is paradox and he is stated to be a covering karub and this thinking is in those born in the likeness of Adam who like the king of Tsor exalted himself to be like the most high.
Eze 28:13 You were in Eden, the garden of Elohim; Every precious stone was your covering: the ruby, the topaz and the diamond; the beryl, the onyx and the jasper; the sapphire, the turquoise and the emerald; And the gold, the workmanship of your tabrets and of your pipes, was in you. On the day that you were created they were prepared.
It's no coincidence that it says in Ezekiel 28:12 that you seal the Takan (sum/weigh/pattern/measure) and that’s exactly what Adam was holding in his flesh i.e. A PATTERN so it was necessary that Yahusha come in the likeness of sinful basar/flesh and condemn this exaltation in the flesh.
Rom 8:3 For what the Torah could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh/basar, Elohim did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful/khathah H2403 חַטָּאָה flesh/basar and for sin/khathah H2403 חַטָּאָה, He condemned sin in the flesh,
The word khatah חַטָּאָה is closely related to khatamחָתַם
as khath חַטָּand khat חָתַthough spelled differently mean the same things because ‘khath’ means to ‘miss the mark’ and ‘khat’ means to ‘break’. While ‘khathah’ is translated as sin and has the root words ‘khath’ which means ‘measure’ and ‘ah’ means ‘sigh’ the word ‘katham’ has the root words ‘khat’ which means ‘break’ and ‘tam’ which means whole.
Miss the mark vs break the whole mean the same thing. Shatan through wrong measure and weakness of man’s basar/flesh conceals the true pattern who is Mashiyach in the flesh/basar of Adam who was the figure of the one who was to come, making people to see just the outward form of the flesh/basar as the letter and deny the spirit in the letter, man being in this exaltation while denying the true humility of the pattern that Mashiyach took to condemn this exaltation in his flesh taking us from flesh to ruach.
Gen 3:14 And יהוה Elohim said to the nakḥash/serpent, “Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all livestock and more than every LIVING/CHAY of the field. On your belly/gachun you are to go, and eat dust/aphar all the days of your life.
The Hebrew word used for ‘Dust’ there is ‘APHAR’ which means mud/clay and is the same word used for Adam.
Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust (Aphar) thou art, and unto dust (Aphar) shalt thou return.
It's interesting to see the word used in Gen 3:14 for belly which is gachun/גִּחוֹן -H1512 and this very same word is the name of the river Gachon/גִּחוֹן- H1521 which was one of the 4 rivers which flowed out from Adan/Eden. Gen 2:13 And the name of the second river is Giḥon (English says Gihon as they translate khat to h), it is the one surrounding the entire land of Kush.
Kush was the son of Ham who was son of Noach who was cursed. Kush is Ethopia and he was the one who begot Nimrod from where the kingdom of Babal came, Mitsrayim is Egypt, Put is Libya and Kenaan was the father of the land flowing with milk and honey whose descendants were driven out from their inhabitation by Yasharal and their land given to them to inherit after their bondage in Mitsrayim/Egypt.
Gen 10:6 And the sons of Ḥam: Kush, and Mitsrayim, and Put, and Kena‛an.
While Shem and Yapeth were blessed by Noach, the seed of Ham was cursed.
Gen 9:25 and he said, “Cursed is Kena‛an, let him become a servant of servants to his brothers.” Gen 9:26 And he said, “Blessed be יהוה, the Elohim of Shěm, and let Kena‛an become his servant.
Gen 9:27 “Let Elohim enlarge Yapheth, and let him dwell in the tents of Shěm. And let Kena‛an become his servant.”
The serpent/Shatan would be cast to the ground on his belly/gachun he would flow into using the seed of Ham against the people of Aluahym. Man will not be eligible to the reserved ‘manna’ which would be for all those elect in Messiah both elect angels and mankind whom Aluahym had elected to be united to him through Mashiyach when Aluahym would be face to face with his creation through His true representation i.e. His PATTERN but shatan's course will be to devour mankind to rebel against Aluahym in distorting the Pattern to them by taking them to another Mashiyach who is just Adam as he conceals the true pattern in his weak flesh not allowing people to see the one who was to come.
Aphar: Ayin (sight) Pey (mouth) resh (first head)
Shatan does exactly this and the word APHAR reveals this-he blocks one's eyesight (ayin), puts poison on the mouth (pey) of man (resh) to preach another besorah/gospel.
The word ‘aph’ which means ‘wing/fly’ is rooted in ‘aphar’ and also the word ‘par’ which means ‘bull’ which shows the covering karub to be Adam the man of dust. The ‘bull’ was used as an OT sacrifice and the ‘flying’ shows the ascending of the fleshly sacrifice.
Heb 10:4 For it is impossible for blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
Heb 10:5 Therefore, coming into the world, He says, “Slaughtering and meal offering You did not desire, but a body You have prepared for Me.
Heb 10:6 “In burnt offerings and offerings for sin You did not delight.1
Heb 10:7 “Then I said, ‘See, I come – in the roll of the book it has been written concerning Me – to do Your desire, O Elohim.’ ”
Concealed in his flesh/basar was the pattern/takan of the one who was to come in the likeness of the weak flesh but would deliver the flesh as he would take us into the ruach.
The earthy stood as a type for the heavenly. John 14:20 “In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.
Once you realize and see this you would see who is in the last Adam (1 Corin 15:45)
1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam a living/chayah spirit/ruach.
Though we have known Mashiyach after the basar/flesh yet now we know him no more as he is in the self-same esteem of Alahym. Ezekiel saw one like the Son of Man seated between the karubs in a vision and who was that MAN?
Ezekiel 1:25 And a voice came from above the expanse that was over their heads. When they stood, they dropped their wings. 26 And above the expanse over their heads was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like a sapphire stone. And on the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the APPEARANCE OF A MAN high above it. 27 And from the appearance of His waist and upward I saw what looked like glowing metal with the appearance of fire all around within it. And from the appearance of His waist and downward I saw what looked like fire, and brightness all around. 28 As the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the esteem of יהוה. And when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.
1 John 4:1-3 means more than Yahusha our Savior come as flesh. Coming in flesh relates to being born under Turah. Paul speaks of Yasharal after the flesh and after the Ruach. Paul speaks of WHEN WE WERE IN FLESH in Rom 7 relating to our being under the Turah. Turah is both life and death and Yahuah spoke through Masha that they choose life. Further He says that Yahuah is your life. Why John in 4:1-3 says that it is the spirit of Anti-Mashiyach that denying Yahuah our Savior is the Mashiyach come in flesh? It's total denial of Yahuah coming and delivering them from Turah. The Yahudym who once professed Mashiyach would deny Him by going back to literal keeping of Turah as in Heb 6 talking about falling away. John says that we have heard Anti-Mashyach is coming but he was already at work at that time. The coming of anti-Mashiyach that we have heard relates to our time when scriptures are being opened. So Mashiyach coming in flesh is not limited to coming as human being which is true.
Gal 4:3 So we also, when we were children, were under the elementary matters of the world, being enslaved.
Gal 4:4 But when the completion of the time came, Elohim sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under Torah,
Gal 4:5 to redeem those who were under Torah, in order to receive the adoption as sons.
Rom 7 & 8, Paul speaks so much on being in flesh. This is not a generic term that can be used beyond Turah. Mashyach is the only hope of Yasharal while those who remain in flesh don't understand this because they only see the outward form of letter and are in exaltation thinking they are like a covering karub guarding the pattern but are actually sealing the pattern/measure/weigh in their outward show and form of godliness.
Because Yahusha being in the existence of Alahym’s blood likeness did not consider equality with Alahym because he wanted to submit to the design/pattern written for him (a body you have prepared for me...) and took the blood likeness of a abad/servant and being found in the fashion as a man he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death on the stake, Alahym raised him up and gave him the name above every name.
Phil 2:9 For this reason also, the Elohim highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name
Phil 2:10 so that at the name of Yahusha every knee shall bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth
Phil 2:11 and that every tongue shall confess that Yahusha the Mashiyach is Master, to the glory of Elohim the Father.
The exaltation of man comes from Alahym not from his desire to become like Alahym as Adam did.
Gen 3:4 And the serpent said to the woman, “You shall certainly not die. Gen 3:5 “For Elohim knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be like Elohim, knowing good and evil.”
Yahusha was the only one who is the same substance of Alahym but set an example of humbling to submit to the pattern showing the humility of the weakness of the flesh in his obedience rather than exercising the existence of his substance of being Alahym himself. He is the one who came from above and descended into the lower parts of the earth to be exalted high above all heavens and fill all things in the self esteem of Alahym.
Eph 4:8 That is why it says, “When He went up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men.”
Eph 4:9 But what does “He went up” mean, except that He also first went down into the lower parts of the earth?
Eph 4:10 He who went down is also the One who went up far above all the heavens, to fill all.
Rom 10:5 For Mosheh writes about the righteousness which is of the Torah, “The man who does these shall live by them.”
Rom 10:6 But the righteousness of belief speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who shall ascend into the heavens?’ ” – that is, to bring Messiah down; or,
Rom 10:7 “ ‘Who shall descend into the abyss?’ ” – that is, to bring Messiah up from the dead.
Rom 10:8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” – that is, the word of belief which we are proclaiming:
Rom 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth the Master יהושע and believe in your heart that Elohim has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.
