Have you ever wondered when reading the book of Chronicles and others parts of the bible like Gen 10, Matthew 1 etc as to why are there genealogies mentioned?
Have you just read through these verses just for the sake of reading in your daily bible reading and waited to finish through it fast because you didn't understand?
One thing a true elect of Alahim knows that everything in scripture is for a purpose and is Messiah glorifying as it's ALL ABOUT HIM and his body the true church which came out from him.
A Jew would be proud of his heritage and boast of his genealogy and tribe because he felt special with the adoption, the covenants, glory, law and service of Alahim
Ro 9:3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Messiah for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:
4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of Alahim, and the promises;
Paul refuted this kind of thinking because Paul knew that those called to be elect of Alahim of all nations were the true Israel of Alahim. Therefore he warns not to have confidence in the flesh
Phil 3: 3.......................... have no confidence in the flesh.
Php 3:4 ¶ Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;
6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Messiah.
He gives his own example of confidence in the flesh which he now counts as loss for Messiah because it's all about Messiah and our life hidden in him.
1Ti 1:4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
Some think that because Paul said not to give heed to endless genealogies we must now realize that Messiah is already come and salvation open to all hence the genealogies are only mentioned to show that Messiah came forth from Adam as the last Adam and that's the end of it. They understand no further.Yet others add up years of fore fathers to come to a calendar to set dates of return of Messiah.
There is purpose and deep hidden mysteries hidden in the genealogies and I don't say that I understand them all. But in this study what I so far understood I write so that readers can get edified and see the purpose and wisdom of Alahim just as Paul says in 1 Tim 1:4....rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do..
Before we see the overview of genealogies let's first see from where Messiah descended since it's all about him.
Lu 2:4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David
Matt 1 also speaks of Josephs descent from Abraham
Mt 1:15 And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;
16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Yahusha, who is called Messiah.
Here we have information that Joseph the husband of Mary was from the house and lineage of David. What about Mary? Mary was the sister of Elizabeth and Elizabeth was the wife of the priest Zacharias. Elizabeth and Mary were from the lineage of Aaron the brother of Moses.
Lu 1:5 ¶ There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
Ex 2:1 ¶ And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi.
2 And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months.
Moses and Aaron were from the tribe of Levi and let's not forget this was the tribe from where the OT priesthood arose and Aaron was the first high priest of the tabernacle of Alahim. He wouldn't have been qualified if he was not from the tribe of Levi.
Ex 4:14 And the anger of the YAHUAH was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart.
In the passage above Alahim is angry with Moses because he tells Alahim he is not eloquent to speak his words and Alahim tells him to take Aaron his brother a LEVITE.
Nu 26:58 These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korathites. And Kohath begat Amram.
59 And the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom her mother bare to Levi in Egypt: and she bare unto Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.
Aaron must have been a young boy already when Moses was born and the need for his parents to hide him(Moses) three months as Pharaoh had commanded that all male children born to Hebrews should be killed but his mother put him in a basket when she could no longer hide him while his sister Miriam watched him in the river.
Ex 2:3 And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river's brink.
4 And his sister stood afar off, to wit what would be done to him.
So we see that Alahim fulfilled his promise to Abraham that in his seed all nations shall be blessed.
Ga 3:7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
8 And the scripture, foreseeing that Alahim would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
While we see the genealogy from Abraham to the birth of Messiah let's look the wisdom of Alahim hidden in these genealogies.
Alahim destroyed this whole world with flood and Messiah likens the days of his coming to the days of Noah and the days of Lot. We all know what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah and the overthrow of Sodom of Gomorrah was set as an example to those who would afterward live ungodly.
Jude gives us an example of those who were the cause of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and brings to our remembrance those whom Alahim brought out of Egypt afterward destroyed them that believed not.
Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our Alahim into lasciviousness, and denying the only Yahuah Alahim, and our Yahuah Yahusha Messiah.
5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Yahuah, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

Coming back to Noah. Noah was a righteous man and he and his entire family including him were saved from the wrath of Alahim which this entire world faced. All flesh under the sun was wiped away but this man and his family preserved and once again this entire world was procreated from them. Noah has three sons named Shem, Ham and Japheth.
1Ch 1:4 Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
It so happened that Noah after the flood became an husbandman and planted a vineyard and drank wine so much as so that he was drunk and was uncovered in his tent. Ham saw the nakedness of his father and went and told Shem and Japeth. Here is the account from Gen 9
Ge 9:21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.
22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.
23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.
24 ¶ And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.
25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
26 And he said, Blessed be the YAHUAH Alahim of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
27 Alahim shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
When Noah awoke and realized what had happened he blessed Shem and Japeth and we will see the blessing in some time and cursed Ham's lineage of Canaan. Hence when we read the genealogies in Gen 10 and 1 Chronicles 1 we see that Ham's lineage procreated the UNGODLY seed who became thorns as false brethren of Israel and their enemies. How does this relate to us? It relates very much because
Alahim's spiritual seed is always persecuted by their own so called false brethren.
2Co 11:26 In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;
Ga 2:4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Messiah Yahusha, that they might bring us into bondage:
Paul admonishes us not to keep company with fornicators and he defines which fornicators not to keep company with for us and that's a so called BROTHER.
1Co 5:9 ¶ I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
Coming back to the genealogy of Ham which shows us exactly this let's look at who were procreated from Ham.
1Ch 1:8 The sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9 And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
10 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth.
11 And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
12 And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,) and Caphthorim.
13 And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,
14 The Jebusite also, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
15 And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
16 And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
I'm highlighting a few names in bold so that nothing is missed by us when we read through.
The genealogy mentioned in 1 Chronicles 1 is parallel to the genealogy mentioned in Genesis 10. There is a little information more in Genesis concerning Nimrod the son of Cush who was the son of Ham. This Nimrod was the founder of BABEL from where came MYSTERY BABYLON the mother of all harlots which Alahim suppressed as a physical kingdom for her lot was a spiritual kingdom which will be revealed in the last time/end of days as the stump of a tree in the ground until seven times pass by (rules of 7 beastly kingdoms of Satan on earth)
Ge 10:8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
9 He was a mighty hunter before the YAHUAH: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the YAHUAH.
10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
Though Genesis records only Canaan being cursed from whom came the Jebusites Hivite Amorite etc who were driven away and their land given to children of Israel as the promised land which Alahim promised Abraham, Ham's other children were also a cause of abomination and an ungodly seed.
Genesis 15:18-21 In the same day the Yahuah made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: [19] The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, [20] And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, [21] And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.
Exodus 23:27-28 I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee. [28] And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
These descendants of Ham were enemies of Israel which were driven out.
1 Chronicles 1:12 And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,)
Here we have record of from where the Philistines came from. They were descendants of Ham the son of Noah.We all know that Israel was always at war with the Philistines who were actually their own brethren now become enemies and they were the enemies of the Yahuah.
Now let's see the lineage of Shem:
1 Chronicles 1:17-27 The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech. [18] And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber. [19] And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan. [20] And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah, [21] Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah, [22] And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba, [23] And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan. [24] Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah, [25] Eber, Peleg, Reu, [26] Serug, Nahor, Terah, [27] Abram; the same is Abraham.
Here we see Abraham was a descendant of Shem and from him came sons as stars of the sky and the sand on the sea shore. We already saw from which lineage Messiah came.That's why we have genealogies in the bible to show us Alahim preserving his godly seed whom he chose. Those whom he accursed always remained outside of Alahim's covenant.
What about Japheth?
The Gentiles came from Japheth
Genesis 10:2-5 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. [3] And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah. [4] And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. [5] By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
The seed of Japheth had the promise of Alahim and we see this blessing that Alahim gave Japheth through Noah
Gen 9:21 27 Alahim shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
The Gentiles were procreated from Japheth and were like the prodigal son coming back to the Father's house, under the tents of Shem.
Gentiles dwelling in tents of Shem is a prophecy fulfilled when gospel went out and a gentiles came under the tent of Israel of Alahim while Canaan was out.
Ephesians 2:13-14 But now in Messiah Yahusha ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Messiah. [14] For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us ;
The middle wall of partition was broken and Jews and Gentiles seed of Shem and Japheth were now in same tent as prophesied, of the same covenant and partakers of the same glory.
Romans 15:12 And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.
Isa 66:19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the YAHUAH out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the YAHUAH, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the YAHUAH.
Tubal and Javan were Japheth's sons as stated in Gen 10:2. Here Alahim is showing how he is going to gather the Gentiles which he calls " And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the Yahuah"
Eze 27:13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.
Javan, Tubal and Meshech were sons of Japheth and in Ezekiel Alahim is asking Ezekiel to take up lamentation for Tyrus who thought he was of perfect beauty and here Tyrus stands for all those who cling to Messiah as Jews but are not. But the true Jews are the merchants because of which Tyrus looked rich and these true Jews were also the gathered from the Gentile nations like Javan, Tubal and Meshech.
Disclaimer: I am not saying all of Javan, Tubal and Meshech were saved because billions that came out from them were plunged into the darkness of hell, what I am talking about is the remnant out of the Gentile nations. I am showing Alahim's faithfulness in keeping his covenant of telling Japheth that he would enlarge him and that he would dwell in the tents of Shem.
There are verses which show Javal, Tubal and Meshech's seed were uncircumcised and ungodly because they were Gentiles. Jews were no better than them. Just as all from National Israel are not true Jews similarly not all of Gentiles are Gentiles because Alahim calls his remnant from both Israel as well as from Gentile nations. In short the Israel of Alahim comprises of the remnant whom he calls from the Jewish and Gentile nations.
Genesis 27:40 And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.
If one understands prophecy then you would see the fulfillment of it in that Esau the lawless man is in dominion now.
Edom is seed of Esau. Alahim will avenge his children.Israels enemies were of his own household

11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
Coming back to the genealogy of Ham which shows us exactly this let's look at who were procreated from Ham.
1Ch 1:8 The sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9 And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
10 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth.
11 And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
12 And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,) and Caphthorim.
13 And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,
14 The Jebusite also, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
15 And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
16 And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
I'm highlighting a few names in bold so that nothing is missed by us when we read through.
The genealogy mentioned in 1 Chronicles 1 is parallel to the genealogy mentioned in Genesis 10. There is a little information more in Genesis concerning Nimrod the son of Cush who was the son of Ham. This Nimrod was the founder of BABEL from where came MYSTERY BABYLON the mother of all harlots which Alahim suppressed as a physical kingdom for her lot was a spiritual kingdom which will be revealed in the last time/end of days as the stump of a tree in the ground until seven times pass by (rules of 7 beastly kingdoms of Satan on earth)
Ge 10:8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
9 He was a mighty hunter before the YAHUAH: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the YAHUAH.
10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
Though Genesis records only Canaan being cursed from whom came the Jebusites Hivite Amorite etc who were driven away and their land given to children of Israel as the promised land which Alahim promised Abraham, Ham's other children were also a cause of abomination and an ungodly seed.
Genesis 15:18-21 In the same day the Yahuah made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: [19] The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, [20] And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, [21] And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.
Exodus 23:27-28 I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee. [28] And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
These descendants of Ham were enemies of Israel which were driven out.
1 Chronicles 1:12 And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,)
Here we have record of from where the Philistines came from. They were descendants of Ham the son of Noah.We all know that Israel was always at war with the Philistines who were actually their own brethren now become enemies and they were the enemies of the Yahuah.
Now let's see the lineage of Shem:
1 Chronicles 1:17-27 The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech. [18] And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber. [19] And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan. [20] And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah, [21] Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah, [22] And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba, [23] And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan. [24] Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah, [25] Eber, Peleg, Reu, [26] Serug, Nahor, Terah, [27] Abram; the same is Abraham.
Here we see Abraham was a descendant of Shem and from him came sons as stars of the sky and the sand on the sea shore. We already saw from which lineage Messiah came.That's why we have genealogies in the bible to show us Alahim preserving his godly seed whom he chose. Those whom he accursed always remained outside of Alahim's covenant.
What about Japheth?
The Gentiles came from Japheth
Genesis 10:2-5 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. [3] And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah. [4] And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. [5] By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
The seed of Japheth had the promise of Alahim and we see this blessing that Alahim gave Japheth through Noah
Gen 9:21 27 Alahim shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
The Gentiles were procreated from Japheth and were like the prodigal son coming back to the Father's house, under the tents of Shem.
Gentiles dwelling in tents of Shem is a prophecy fulfilled when gospel went out and a gentiles came under the tent of Israel of Alahim while Canaan was out.
Ephesians 2:13-14 But now in Messiah Yahusha ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Messiah. [14] For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us ;
The middle wall of partition was broken and Jews and Gentiles seed of Shem and Japheth were now in same tent as prophesied, of the same covenant and partakers of the same glory.
Romans 15:12 And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.
Isa 66:19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the YAHUAH out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the YAHUAH, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the YAHUAH.
Tubal and Javan were Japheth's sons as stated in Gen 10:2. Here Alahim is showing how he is going to gather the Gentiles which he calls " And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the Yahuah"
Eze 27:13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.
Javan, Tubal and Meshech were sons of Japheth and in Ezekiel Alahim is asking Ezekiel to take up lamentation for Tyrus who thought he was of perfect beauty and here Tyrus stands for all those who cling to Messiah as Jews but are not. But the true Jews are the merchants because of which Tyrus looked rich and these true Jews were also the gathered from the Gentile nations like Javan, Tubal and Meshech.
Disclaimer: I am not saying all of Javan, Tubal and Meshech were saved because billions that came out from them were plunged into the darkness of hell, what I am talking about is the remnant out of the Gentile nations. I am showing Alahim's faithfulness in keeping his covenant of telling Japheth that he would enlarge him and that he would dwell in the tents of Shem.
There are verses which show Javal, Tubal and Meshech's seed were uncircumcised and ungodly because they were Gentiles. Jews were no better than them. Just as all from National Israel are not true Jews similarly not all of Gentiles are Gentiles because Alahim calls his remnant from both Israel as well as from Gentile nations. In short the Israel of Alahim comprises of the remnant whom he calls from the Jewish and Gentile nations.
Mystery Babylon came from Babel a kingdom of Nimrod the son of Cush the son of Ham

Isaac's eyes were dim and the firstborn blessing went to the younger but this was all ACCORDING TO THE PURPOSE OF GOD.
Lu 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
We have drunk the wine of fornication from the cup of Mystery Babylon because of which we slept and while we slept the enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat which we are now harvesting while the elder has broken the yoke of his younger brother and is in dominion now
Look at Isaacs prophecy concerning Esau
Genesis 27:40 And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.
If one understands prophecy then you would see the fulfillment of it in that Esau the lawless man is in dominion now.
Amos 1:11 Thus saith the Yahuah ; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever:
Edom is seed of Esau. Alahim will avenge his children.Israels enemies were of his own household
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
Mt 13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
Mt 25:5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
As in the days of Noah and Lot so it is what is happening now and we are very close to the coming of Messiah because Mystery Babylon is unleashed. Alahim reveals in Jeremiah 25:15-27 that he would make all to drink of the wine of Mystery Babylon
This cup of Mystery Babylon is drunk by Jerusalem to her brothers Moab, Ammon, Arabia (Ishmael) Edom (Esau) etc to all the kingdoms of the beasts. ALL have drunk the wine of the WHORE.
It's a time to mourn, repent and turn to the true and living Alahim. Man is indeed preoccupied in endless genealogies by formulating dates, predictions, erroneous doctrines of Messiah, distorted Eschatology etc whereas genealogies are for our admonishment to show us the wisdom of Alahim in raising & preserving his elect while the accursed children remain out of his covenant.
