The Yom achad

2 Peter 3:5. w’ne`’lam mida`’tam lir’tsonam shel’phaniym bid’bar ‘Elohim nashau hashamayim w’ha’arets min-hamayim w’`al-yaday hamayim.

2Pe3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word/bidabar of Elohim the heavens were done/nashau, and the earth in the/min water and rising/al by the hands/yaday out of the waters,

6. w’`al y’deyhem ‘ab’dah tabal ‘asher me’az ki nashatpah b’mey hamabul.

2Pe3:6 through which the world/tabal that then was, being swept away/nashatpah with water, waters flooded/hamabul

7. gam-hashamayim w’ha’arets ‘asher l’phaneynu nits’p’nu bid’baro w’hem sh’muriym la’esh l’yom hadiyn wa’abod ‘an’shey haresha`.

2Pe3:7 But the heavens and earth, which are before us/la phaneynu, by the same word/ba dabaru are kept in budding/nitspanu, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and destruction of wicked men

8. w’zo’th ha’achath ‘al-te`alem mikem chabiybay sheyom ‘echad k’eleph shaniym b’`eyney Yahúwah w’eleph shaniym k’yom ‘echad.

2Pe3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that day/yom one/achad is with Yahuah as a thousand/alaph years/shanah, and a thousand/alaph years/shanah as day/yom one/achad.

When we read these verses in the English semantics it doesn’t make sense but when we look at the Abary roots and look at words closely we see a beautiful picture of salvation and deliverance of Yahuah’s people from the waters.

2 Peter 3:5 says that men are WILLINGLY ignorant that by the dabar of Alahym the heavens were done (most translations say ‘were of old’ which is wrong because ‘nasha’ is from ‘asha’ which means ‘done/occurred’) and the earth in the water and rising by the hands (they translated yaday as ‘standing out’ whereas ‘yad’ is the hand and ‘yaday’ means ‘hands’) out of the waters.

2 Peter 3:6 through which the world/tabal (the word ‘bal’ means ‘nothing’ and tau means covenant, the picture is of the a covenant less world) that then was being swept away with water, waters flooded (they translated ‘hamabul’ as perished but you may look up ‘bul’ means flood and ‘ham’ means waters).

2 Peter 3:7 But the heavens and earth which are before us (phaneyu means ‘face’, it like something before one’s face), by the same word are kept in budding (they translated nitspanu as ‘kept in store’ whereas ‘nats’ means ‘blossom’ and ‘pan’ means face and ‘panu’ shows something hidden from the face) reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and destruction of wicked men

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved be not ignorant of this one thing, that the day one is with Yahuah as thousand years and a thousand years as day one (the word ‘shanah’ in Strong’s H8140 & H8141 means ‘year’, same word H8139 & H8142 means ‘sleep’.

It’s interesting to see that the same word ‘shanah’ in H8138 means to repeat/doubled or do it a second time)

The focus is on understanding the ruach hidden in the letter. What was doubled/repeated?

The key is in understanding the earth in the water and rising by the hands out of the water and this was doubled/repeated.

Peter speaks of ‘thousand years as DAY ONE’. What happened on day one?

Gen 1:2 And the earth came to be formless and empty, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Elohim was fluttering/rachapah on the face of the waters.
Gen 1:3 And Elohim said, “Let light come to be,” and light came to be.
Gen 1:4 And Elohim saw the light, that it was good. And Elohim separated/badal H914 between/bayan H996 the light from the darkness.
Gen 1:5 And Elohim called the light ‘day’ and the darkness He called ‘night.’ And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the day/yom one/achad.

The day one/ yom achad was the day when the earth was formless and empty and darkness was on the face of the deep and the Ruach of Alahym was fluttering/rachapah on the face of the waters and Yahuah separated the light from darkness on yom achad/day one. It’s interesting to see the ‘ban/son’ rooted in ‘bayan’ which is translated as between (many translations won’t even translate this in this verse). Yahuah divided the ‘sons of light’ from the ‘sons of darkness’ and we see this beautiful picture in 2 Corin 4:6

2Cor4:6 For the Elohim, who said, Light shall shine out of darkness, is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of the Elohim in the face/panay of the Mashiyach.

This day/yom one/achad Peter says is as alaph/thousand years/shanah and thousand years is a day/yom one/achad.

Peter is tying up the day one of Gen 1 to the Noach flood when the earth was in the waters and by his hands were out of the waters (prophetic of what he was going to do spiritually in dividing the sons of light who will rise up to be caught up to the new heavens and new earth which stood out by his hands from the present heavens and earth which was flooded to sweep away the sons of darkness) with the promise of the alaph shanah/thousand years in Mashiyach.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Yahusha and because of the word of the Elohim, and those who had not worshiped the beast nor his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they lived and reigned with the Mashiyach for a thousand/alaph years/shanayam.

The separation was doubled/repeated to show the surety of his covenant and purpose by bringing the bow in the cloud, in the Noachic flood when Yahuah saved Noach and his family while destroyed the ungodly men from the face of the earth. The earth once again stood in waters and out of the waters where Noach and his family were above the waters safe in the ark and that ark is Mashiyach. The Masha/drawn out is in ‘Mashiyach’. The name ‘Masha/Moses’ means ‘Drawn out’ for he was drawn out of the waters.

The doubling can be seen in day two which also is the same word ‘shanah’ (two)

Gen 1:7 And Elohim made the expanse, and separated/badal H914 between/banay H996 the waters which were below the expanse and between the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so.
Gen 1:8 And Elohim called the expanse heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a day/yom shanay/two.

While the time lapse was just ‘ONE DAY/YOM ACHAD’ away from when the earth was in waters, Peter says it’s for Yahuah as ‘alaph shanah/thousand years’
Alaph is the first letter of the Abary language and means ‘first/chief’ and we already saw ‘shanah’ means ‘sleep/repeat/doubled’ and the alaph shanah shows Mashiyach as the first and the last who was the same ruach who fluttered over the waters and divided the waters from the waters.

1Pe1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you

The double portion which is a complete circle just like the bow in the cloud which Yahuah brought that will remind him of the eternal covenant and its fulfillment in Yahusha ha Mashiyach.

Rev 4:3 And He who sat there was like a jasper and a ruby stone in appearance. And there was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance.

Gen 9:13 “I shall set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.
Gen 9:14 “And it shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud,
Coming back to the word ‘shanah’ we see this word used in Psalms 127:2 as sleep

Psa 127:2 In vain do you rise up early, To sit up late, to eat the bread of toil; So He gives His beloved/yadyad H3039 sleep/shanah H8142.

The same word ‘sleep/shanah’ is used for the wicked who were swept away and this day (day two when Yahuah separated the waters from the waters was as day one when Yahuah separated the sons of light from the sons of darkness on day two)

Psa 90:4 For a thousand/alaph years/shanah in Your eyes Are like day/yom before/atmul H865 that has past, Or like a watch in the night.
Psa 90:5 You have swept them away, They are as a sleep/shanah H8142, Like grass that springs up in the morning.

Finally we also see none of our fathers ever lived for ‘thousand years’, the longest to live was Methuselah who lived 969 years falling short of the thousand years. Mashiyach is the only one who can give us eternal life as it’s stated…

Gen 5:27  So all the days of Methushelaḥ were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he died.
1Co 15:45 And so it has been written, “The first man Aḏam became a living being,” the last Aḏam a life-giving Spirit.

Qarban

Mark 7:10 “For Moshe said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, is to be put to death’”;
Mark 7:11 “but you say, ‘If a man says to his father or his mother, whatever I have that would help you is Qarban (that is to say, given to Elohim),’”
Mark 7:12 “you no longer permit him to do anything for his father or his mother”;
Mark 7:13 thus invalidating the word of the Elohim by your tradition which you have handed down; and you do many things such as that.
Yahusha quoted ‘Torah’’ from Ex 20:12; 21:17; Le 20:9; De 5:16; Pr 20:20 where it says that whosoever curseth his father and mother shall surely put to death. While the Pharisees and scribes taught the literal commandments from Torah they by their oral tradition made up their own laws adding to Torah that whatever gift a son desires to give to his father and mother but changes his mind on it saying it’s qarban he is free from his duty towards his father and mother for he is offering it to Alahym.
What is Qarban?
H7133 Qarban has 82 occurrences in the OT and means something brought near the altar, that is, a sacrificial present: - oblation that is offered, offering.
Qarban comes from the root word ‘qarab’ H7126, H7127 & H7138 which means ‘offer, come near, approach, be near’
Qarab:
The word ‘Qarab’ has the root words ‘qar’ which means ‘call’ and ‘rab’ which means ‘master’
Rab: Master

Gen 12:11 And it came to be, when he was come near/qarab H7126 to entering Mitsrayim, that he said to Sarai his wife, “See, I know that you are a fair woman to look at.
Ezr 6:10 so that they offer/qarab H7127 pleasing offerings to the Elah of heaven, and pray for the life of the sovereign and his sons.
Exo 12:4 ‘And if the household is too small for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next to/qarab H7138 his house take it according to the number of the beings, according to each man’s need you make your count for the lamb.
The word ‘qarban’ root words ‘qar’ which means ‘call’ and ‘ban’ which means ‘son’. Put together it’s the call of the Son.
Qar:

Ban:

Lev 1:2 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, and say to them, ‘When anyone of you brings an offering/qarban H7133 to יהוה, you bring your offering/qarban H7133 of the livestock, of the herd or of the flock.
The word ‘qarban’ is used 16 times in the Brit Chadashah/Renewed Testament.
Matt 8:4 And Yahusha said to him, See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and present/qarabat the offering/qarban that Moshe commanded, as a testimony to them.
Matt 15:5 “But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, offering/qarban I have that would help you has been given to Elohim,’”
Matt 23:16 “Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the temple, that is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple is obligated.’”
Matt 23:17 “You fools and blind men! Which is more important, the gold or the temple that sanctified the gold?”
Matt 23:18 “And, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, that is nothing, but whoever swears by the offering/qarban on it, he is obligated.’”
Matt 23:19 “You blind men, which is more important, the offering/qarban, or the altar that sanctifies the offering?”
Matt 23:20 “Therefore, whoever swears by the altar, swears both by the altar and by everything on it.”
Matt 23:21 “And whoever swears by the temple, swears both by the temple and by Him who dwells within it.”
Speaking of the ‘qarban’ which draws one near to Aluahym Yahusha rebuked the so called Torah keepers of their oral tradition which states that whoever swears by the temple it’s ok to break the promise but whoever swears by the gold he is obliged to keep the promise, similarly whoever swears by the altar it’s ok to break the promise but whoever swears by the ‘qarban’ he is obligated to keep the promise. In his rebuke Yahusha tells them what is more important the temple or the gold in it, the altar or the qarban which sanctifies it?
It’s important to understand that in the Renewed Testament Yahusha is the temple, he is the altar, he is the sacrifice, everything in the temple finds it’s fulfillment in him. While Torah stood in the letter it’s important that we also see the ruach in the letter. While the literal command stood of honoring the father and the mother and whosoever curses his father or mother would be put to death, and that the ‘qarban’ to the father and mother should not be mixed with the ‘qarban’, we must see who the father and mother is spiritually.
Gen 2:23 And the man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. This one is called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of man.”
Gen 2:24 For this cause a man shall leave/azab H5800 his father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
Azab: Leave/neglect/forsake/refuse

Eph 5:30 Because we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.
Eph 5:31 “For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”
Eph 5:32 This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Messiah and the assembly.
Speaking of the mystery of leaving his father and mother and be joined to his wife as one flesh Shaul says he is speaking concerning Mashiyach and the assembly who are of his flesh and of his bones. This shows that Mashiyach left/forsook/neglected his fatherhood and mother Yerushalam to be one flesh with us his wife/ashah. The only ‘qarban’ which is two way i.e. an offering for us and an offering to enjoin us to the AhB/father and the Am/mother. Did Yahusha break Torah? No he fulfilled it because being in the flesh he was mindful of being obedient to his Father being enjoined to his wife at the same time.
This is what he replied when his earthly mother and father told him
Luke 2:48 When they saw Him, they were astonished; and His mother said to Him, Son, why have You treated us this way? Behold, Your father and I have sought you with the sorrow in heart.
Luke 2:49 And He said to them, “Why is it that you sought for Me? Did you not know that I had to be in My Father’s business?”
John 6:38 “For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.”
John 6:39 “This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day.”
He is the perfect ‘qarban’ who laid down his life for us and through him enjoins us to the father and mother making us a ‘qarban’ in him.
The word for wife is ‘’ashah’’ which also means ‘an offering made by fire’
Ashah: wife/offering made by fire
Ash/Aysh means fire and Aysh means ‘man/husband’

The ‘ashah’ was taken from the ‘aysh/man’ and was of his bones and of his flesh. She becomes one in his offering/qarban to the father in fulfilling perfect obedience by honoring the father and mother and also is an offering/qarban set apart for us in calling us to enjoin with him. We learnt the word ‘qarban’ has the root words ‘qar/call ban/son’. The Son is calling us to enjoin with him to be an offering to the Father Aluahym and Mother Yerushalam.
Heb 10:10 By this will we have been sanctified through the coming near/qarabath offering/qarban of the body of Yahusha the Mashiyach once for all
Heb_10:10 וברצון הזה מקדשים אנחנו על־ידי הקרבת קרבן גופו של־ישוע המשיח בפעם אחת׃
They did not translate the word ‘qarban’ here in the scripture above but in the Abary we see the words ‘qarabath qarban’ which show the two way offering of Mashiyach in fulfilling Torah.
The call of the master/qarab to his daughters/bath to measure up/bath (an OT measure equivalent to ephah) to the call of the Son/qarban
Eph 5:2 and walk in love, just as the Mashiyach also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering/qarban and a sacrifice to Elohim as a fragrant aroma.
Rom 12:1 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of Elohim, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice/qarban, acceptable to Elohim, which is your reasonable worship.
Heb 10:16 This is the covenant that I shall make with them after those days, says Yahuah: I shall put My laws upon their heart, and on their mind I shall write them,
Heb 10:17 And their sins and their iniquities I shall remember no more.
Heb 10:18 Now where there is forgiveness of sins, there is no more offering/qarban for sin.
Heb 10:19 Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence into the entrance of the holy place by the blood of Yahusha,
Heb 10:20 by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh,
Speaking of the end of the physical sacrifices for sin offering Shaul in Heb 10:16-20 quotes OT prophecy where Yahuah says he will make a renewed covenant with the house of Yasharal and of Yahudah and that he would put his laws upon their hearts and minds by writing them and will remember their sins no more and NOW when there is forgiveness of sins there is no more qarban for sin because the perfect qarban through the VEIL OF HIS FLESH has given us an entrance into the Most Set apart by his blood by a new and living way. HalalUYah.
While the literal commandment stood in shadows and types we see our Master after healing the sick, the leper etc told them to go and make the ‘qarban’ as a repeat witness/aduth to them
Matt 8:3 Yahusha stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, I am able; be cleansed. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
Matt 8:4 And Yahusha said to him, See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the alaph tau qarban/offering that Moshe commanded, as a testimony/aduth to them.
Thus we see one of the ten commandments ‘Honor your father and your mother that your days maybe prolonged in the land Yahuah your Aluahym is giving you Ex 20:12’ is fulfilled by Mashiyach and has a deep spiritual meaning in the literal commandment.

Why did Yahusha tell Mariyam not to touch him and same evening told his disciples to touch his wounds?

John 20:16 Yahusha said to her, “Miriam!” She turned and said to Him in Hebrew, Rabboni! (which means, Teacher).
John 20:17 Yahusha said to her, “Touch Me not, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I ascend to My Father and your Father, and My El and your El.’”
In the above verses we see Yahusha telling Mariyam not to touch him for he has not yet ascended to the Father.
John 20:19 So when it was evening on that day, the first of the Shabbats, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Yahushua came and stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
John 20:20 And when He had said this, He showed them both His hands and His side. The disciples then rejoiced when they saw the Master.
The same evening on that day he showed his disciples/talmidim his hands and his side.
Is there a contradiction? Many people do not understand this because they are disconnected from the Abary roots. We must look at Torah to understand why this happened. Scriptures are not in a vacuum. There is plenty of evidence and only a spiritual vs spiritual comparison will bring out the beauty of the covenant Yahuah has with his people.
The first thing we must look at what day was it?
It was the first of the Shabbats, and when Yahusha met Mariyam it was still dark. Please read John 20:1
John 20:1 Now on the first of the Shabbats Miriam Magdalene came early to the tomb, while it was still dark, and saw the stone taken away from the tomb.
This happened while it was still dark…
It was the same evening (verse 19 of John 20) i.e. the first of the Shabbats when he showed his disciples his hands and his side.
What is the significance of the first of the Shabbats? Why does it say first/akhad Shabbat?
The passage should be correctly translated as Acts 2:1 When the day of Shabat Shabut (Pentecost) was full, they were all together one.
This was 49 days exactly from ‘Firstfruits’
Lev 23:15 You shall count for yourselves from the morrow after the Shabbat, from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the wave offering; they shall be seven/shaba Shabbats/שַׁבָּת
Ex 34:22 You shall celebrate the Feast of Shabat/H7620, the first fruits of the wheat harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering at the turn of the year.
The same feast/chag ‘Shabat/Shabut’ called ‘Pentecost’ is written in Ex 34:22 with the spelling שבעת
Whereas in Lev 23:15 the counting from the ‘firstfruits’ as seven sabbaths is listed.
John 20:1 Now on the first of the Shabbats Miriam Magdalene came early to the tomb, while it was still dark, and saw the stone taken away from the tomb.
The day Mashiyach rose from the day was the first of the Seven Shabbats leading to Shabut/Pentecost because there was a counting of seven shabbats from Firstfruits to Shabut/Pentecost. That’s why we see Yahuchanan/John showing us the count as the ‘first of the Shabbats’.
The chart below gives a description of the succession of the four feasts Pesach (Passover), Matzot (Unleavened Bread), Bakar (Firstfruits) & Shabut/Shavout (Pentecost).

If you notice on the chart on the 14th day of the first new moon is Pesach (Passover).
Lev 23:5‘In the first new moon, on the fourteenth day of the new moon, between the evenings, is the Pĕsaḥ/Passover to יהוה.
Yahusha was crucified on Pesach and he is our Pesach lamb.
1Co 5:7 Therefore cleanse out the old leaven, so that you are a new lump, as you are unleavened. For also Mashiyach our Passover was offered for us.
1Co 5:8 So then let us observe the festival, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of evil and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
The next day was a high Shabbat of the Unleavened bread on which a solemn rest was pronounced in the Torah of Masha.
John 19:31 Therefore, since it was the Preparation/arab Shabbat, that the bodies should not remain on the stake on the Sabbath – for that Sabbath was a high one – the Yehuḏim asked Pilate to have their legs broken, and that they be taken away.
They translated the word ‘arab’ as ‘Preparation’ because the Yahudi’s had to ensure that they had to remove all ‘leaven’ from their dwellings before the feast of Matzot/Unleavened bread began. Little did they know that as stated in 1 Corin 5:7-8 Mashiyach is our Pesach/Passover lamb who was offered for us and the call is to observe the feast with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Arab: The word ‘arab’ means to ‘exchange/barter/mix’

The word usage as ‘arab Shabbat’ shows a deep spiritual meaning here because the physical Shabbat was being exchanged/bartered for the spiritual who is Mashiyach himself. HalalUYah.
John 19:14 Now it was the preparation/arab Passover/Pescah; it was about the sixth hour. And he said to the Jews, Behold, your King!
The same word ‘arab’ is used before Pesach/Passover which shows us the exchange/barter for the true lamb of Alahym our Yahusha ha Mashiyach against a literal lamb/sheep/heifer/bull offering. Again, here they translated the word ‘arab’ as ‘Preparation’ as the Yahudi’s had to select a lamb without blemish, unspotted, perfect for the offering. Our unblemished, unspotted and perfect lamb is Yahusha ha Mashiyach who gave himself for us.
Pesach also means ‘lame/hop’

The spiritual picture is also of the exchange for a perfect lamb who is Yahusha our Master for us the lame/hopping ones.
Coming back to John 19:31
John 19:31 Therefore, since it was the arab Shabbat, that the bodies should not remain on the stake on the Sabbath – for that Sabbath was a high one – the Yehuḏim asked Pilate to have their legs broken, and that they be taken away.
They rested according to the commandment on the high Shabbat of the Unleavened bread
Luke 23:55 And the women who had come with Him from Galil followed after, and saw the tomb and how His body was laid. 56 And having returned, they prepared spices and perfumes. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the command.
Lev 23:6 ‘And on the fifteenth day of this new moon is the Festival of Matzot/Unleavened Bread to יהוה – seven days you eat unleavened bread. 7 ‘On the first day you have a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work. 8 ‘And you shall bring an offering made by fire to יהוה for seven days. On the seventh day is a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work.’”
The fourteenth day sundown to fifteenth day sundown is the high Shabbat of Unleavened bread and twenty first sundown to twenty second sundown end of the feast of Unleavened bread a high Shabbat.
Yahusha is the Firstfruits/bakar and the feast of firstfruits falls exactly 3 days after Pesach and on the day he rose from the dead in the week of the feast of Unleavened bread. i.e. after 16th evening was Firstfruits.
Col 1:15 He (Yahusha) is the image of the invisible the Elohim, the Firstfruits/bakur of all creation.
Col 1:18 He is the head of the body, the assembly; who is the beginning/rashiyath, the Firstfruits/bakur from the dead, so that He might have the preeminence in everything.
We are kind of Firstfruits of his creatures:
Rom 8:23 And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits/bakuray of the Ruach/Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.
Jam 1:18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first/rashaiyth fruits/bakuray among His creatures.
Counting 49 days from firstfruits is Shavout/Pentecost...we won't go that far but now straight to the main text…
Lev 23:11‘ And he shall wave the sheaf before יהוה, for your acceptance. On the morrow after the Sabbath the priest waves it. 12 ‘And on that day when you wave the sheaf, you shall prepare a ban/son lamb a year old, a perfect one, as an ascending offering to יהוה,
If Yahusha was impaled on Wednesday on Pesach/Passover, at sundown the high Shabbat would begin i.e. Wednesday sundown to Thursday sundown. The morrow after the high Shabbat would be Thursday evening at sundown to Friday evening at sundown. The priest would have to offer the sheaf and the he/ban/son lamb as an ascending offering to Yahuah but it’s clearly evident from the text that Yahuchanan/John uses in John 20:1 Now on the first of the Shabbats…...
Le 23:15 ¶ And you shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven/shaba H7651 sabbaths/shabatut H7676 shall be complete:
The counting of 7 X 7 begins from the first of the Sabbats and ends on a Shabbat.
There was a waiting period so that all could bring in their offerings to offer to Yahuah of their sheaf as well as the ban/son lamb of the first year as an ascending offering....
Lev 23:14 ‘And you do not eat bread or roasted grain or fresh grain until the same day that you have brought an offering to your Elohim – a law forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
The above verse shows they couldn't eat bread or roasted grain or fresh grain until the day they brought an offering to Alahym
John 20:1 Now on the first of the Shabbats Miriam Magdalene came early to the tomb, WHILE IT WAS STILL DARK, and saw the stone taken away from the tomb.
The first/one (akhad) of the Shabbats is to be understood as a normal weekly Shabbat and not a high Shabbat.
Why did Yahusha ask Mariyam not to touch him for he has not yet ascended to the Father?
It's because it's on this very same day the priest would waive the sheaf before Yahuah and prepare a ban/son lamb as an ascending offering to Yahuah. Mariyam was with him while it was still dark and the sheaf and ban/son lamb was yet to be offered to Yahuah during the course of the day.
John 20:19 So when it was evening on that day, the first of the Shabbats, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Yahusha came and stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be with you.” John 20:20 And when He had said this, He showed them both His hands and His side. The disciples then rejoiced when they saw the Master.
There is no contradiction in scripture ...the above verse shows it was evening on that day, on the first of the Shabbats and Yahusha asked them to touch his side and his wounds in his hands because during the course of the day the Torah was fulfilled of the sheaf and the ban/son lamb offering to Yahuah by the priest, The Shabbat was still on, so Yahusha may have made his appearance to them before sundown as at sundown the Sabbat ends, also it says after 8 days he made his appearance again to Thoma as he was unbelieving and 8 days from Shabbat would still be a Shabbat counting the Shabbat day when he first appeared to his disciples to touch his wounds and side.
John 20:26 After eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Yahusha came, the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst and said, “Peace be with you.”
Without connection to the covenant Yahuah made with Yasharal one is lost and confused and can never understand these things.
Moreover, if you understand the counting of a jubilee year, the jubilee year was always 7 x 7 =49 and the 50th year was a jubilee year i.e. 49 + 1
Similarly, the counting to Shavuot was 7 x 7 =49 and the 50th day was Shavuot/Pentecost. Here is the proof:
Lev 23:15 You shall count for yourselves from the morrow after the Shabbat, from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the wave offering; they shall be seven complete Shabbats. Lev 23:16 Until the morrow after the seventh Shabbat, you shall count the fifty days; then you shall present a new grain offering to Yahuah.
If you count the 7 x 7 from the morrow of the high Shabbat i.e. on a Friday then you would land up on the 50th day as being the regular weekly Shabbat. But notice what Lev 23:16 says …. Until the morrow after the seventh Shabbat, you shall count the fifty days; which shows the 50th day as being the day of Shavuot which is the next day after the seventh Shabbat.
We have Luke recording Acts 2:1 When the Shabat Shabuot (Pentecost) was FULL/MALAT H4402, they were all together in one place.
Malat: Malat comes from the root word mal which means speak/word and has the root word ‘malah’ which means fruitfullness.

Malah: H4395 מְלֵאָה
Feminine of H4392; something fulfilled, that is, abundance (of produce): - (first of ripe) fruit, fulness.
The day of Shabat Shabuot was to its fullest i.e. 50th day.
Lev 23:16 Until the morrow after the seventh Shabbat, you shall count the fifty days; then you shall present a new grain offering to Yahuah.
Lev 23:17 You shall bring in from your dwelling places two loaves of bread for a wave offering, made of two-tenths of an ephah; they shall be of a fine flour, baked with leaven/khamats as first fruits/bakuryam to Yahuah
Lev 23:18 Along with the bread you shall present seven one year old male lambs without blemish, and one bull of the herd and two rams; they shall be a burnt offering to Yahuah, with their grain offering and their drink offerings, an fire offering of a soothing aroma to Yahuah.
.
What was the significance of the loaves which were offered on Shavuot?
Lev 23 v17 Two loaves of bread made of fine flour and made of two tenths (one tenth for one loaf plus one tenth for another loaf) and these loaves were to be baked with leaven and they were to be waived before Yahuah. The testimony of the Torah of the leaven in the loaves shows the loaves represents us and the waive offering was a reminder to Yahuah to accept us as firstfruit/bakar in Yahusha ha Mashiyach. Yahusha the Firstfruits and we kind of Firstfruits of his creatures. Torah testified he will be raised and we will be raised in him and be transformed into his likeness on the 50th day just like the jubilee.
Acts 1:2 until the day when He was taken up to heaven, after He had by the Ruach ha Qodesh given orders to the emissaries whom He had chosen.
Acts 1:3 To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, and feared/yara H3372 of them forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of the Elohim.
Acts 1:12 Then they returned to Yerushalam from the mount called Olivet, which is near Yerushalam, journeying in the heat /tachum on Shabbat
Out of the 50 days, Yahusha was with his talmidim/believers for 42 days i.e. 6 Shabbats as Luke records they journeyed back on Shabbat which shows Yahusha was taken up to heaven on a Shabbat.
In Acts 1:12 the translators left out translating the word ‘tachum’ because they don’t understand what this word means. ‘Tach’ means ‘divide’ and ‘khum’ H2345 means ‘black’ as wood is burnt. It was probably the afternoon (the dividing of the day) when it is the hottest when they journeyed back on Shabbat after Yahusha was taken up from them. All translations omit this word.
The Abary word ‘yara’ H3372 has been translated as ‘seen’ but this word means ‘feared/afraid/reverenced/’, with the correct translation of the verse it makes a huge difference because Luke was recording the dread/fear of the talmidim as the scriptures from Torah were being opened to them right before their eyes after Yahusha’s resurrection while the fact was Yahusha was 42 days i.e. 6 Shabbats with his disciples. Exactly after 7 days was the last Shabbat and the morrow of that Shabbat was Shabut Shabuot. There is no contradiction in scriptures, it’s the translators who make the confusion and obviously without the Ruach one cannot understand the scriptures.
In conclusion Yahusha died on the 14th Day of the first month which was a Wednesday when the Pesach began on the 13th which was a Tuesday at sundown and on 14th a Wednesday at sundown began the high Shabbat which ended on the 15th at sundown. The feast of Firstfruits was exactly on the 3rd day after Pesach but the priests would always wait until the Shabbat to offer the firsfruits. You can check any Jewish calendar, they celebrate Firstfruits on a Gregorian calendar which falls on a Sunday but in reality, the feast of Firstfruits falls on a Shabbat and not on a pagan Roman calendar of a Sunday. No matter on which day Pesach falls on they would always wait until the Shabbat to offer the Firstfruits.
John 7:22 “For this reason Moshe has given you circumcision (not because it is from Moshe, but from the fathers), and on the Shabbat you circumcise a man.”
John 7:23 “If a man receives circumcision on the Shabbat so that the Law of Moshe shall not be broken, are you angry with Me because I made an entire man well on the Shabbat?”
The Torah stated that on the eighth day of the male child’s birth the flesh of his foreskin needed to be circumcised but the parents of the child would wait until the Shabbat for their child to be circumcised
Lev12:3 On the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
We need to get back to the right perspective to compare spiritual things with spiritual to see how Mashiyach fulfilled Torah as he said ‘’Till heaven and earth pass not one serif or kotz of a yod will pass away from Torah till all be fulfilled’’ Matt 5:18

The tithe/tenth portion

In this study, we will see what scripture says about the ‘tenth’ portion and the significance of the number ten in redemption and how Mashiyach is concealed in the measurement brining all those believing on him into his completeness.

The Abary word for ten is ‘’ashar’’ H6235/H6236 עֲשַׂר

It’s amazing to see the ayin (eye) which also means ‘see’ is pointing to the ‘shar’ H8269 which means ‘’ruler’’.
It’s also amazing to see the word ‘ashar’ has the root word ‘ar/aur’ H5783 which means ‘to be made naked/bare’ and same word H5782 means ‘’to awake’’.  If you can ‘’see/ayin’’ the ‘’ruler/shar’’ been made ‘’naked/ar’’ then you are ‘’awake/ar’’
Every OT offering/sacrifice/manna had the ‘tenth’ portion in it.

Exo 16:35  And the children of Yisra’ĕl ate manna forty years, until they came to an inhabited land. They ate manna until they came to the border of the land of Kenaʽan.
Exo 16:36  And an omer is one-tenth/ ashayray H6224 of an ĕphah.

The manna was measure in one tenth of an ephah.

The word ‘ashayray’ has the root word ‘ashar’ which means ‘ten/tenth’. Ephah was an OT measure used in OT sacrifices.

‘Ephah’ was OT measure used for a poor man’s sin offering who couldn’t even afford two turtledoves or two young pigeons.

 H6224 עֲשִׂירִי

Lev 5:11  ‘But if he is unable to bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons, then he who sinned shall bring for his offering one-tenth/ashayray H6224 of an ĕphah of fine flour as a sin offering. He puts no oil on it, nor does he put any frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering.

Exo 29:38  “And this is what you prepare on the altar: two lambs, of the first year, daily, continually.
Exo 29:39  “Prepare the one lamb in the morning, and the other lamb you prepare between the evenings,
Exo 29:40  and one-tenth/ asharun H6241 of an ĕphah of flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of pressed oil, and one-fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering, with the one lamb.
Exo 29:41  “And prepare the other lamb between the evenings. And with it prepare the grain offering and the drink offering, as in the morning, for a sweet fragrance, an offering made by fire to יהוה
Exo 29:42  a continual burnt offering for your generations at the door of the Tent of Meeting before יהוה, where I shall meet with you to speak with you.

Asharun H6241עִשָּׂרֹן

The Torah required that two lambs of the first year be offered daily, continually, one in the morning and one in the evening and it had to be prepared with ‘asharun H6241’ of an ephah of flour mixed with one-fourth of hin of pressed oil and one-fourth of hin of wine as a drink offering.
The morning and evening sacrifice was fulfilled by Mashiyach when he hung on the stake when Alahym brought darkness over the whole land.
Lev 6:19  And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,
Lev 6:20  “This is the offering of Aharon and his sons, which they bring near to יהוה, beginning on the day when he is anointed: one-tenth/ashayray H6224 of an ĕphah of fine flour as a daily grain offering, half of it in the morning and half of it at night.
Lev 6:21  “It is made on a griddle with oil. Bring it in mixed, bring the baked portions of the grain offering near, a sweet fragrance to יהוה.

The grain offering made for Aharon and his sons from the day of his anointing as high priest was one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour half of it in the morning and half of it in the evening.

Num 18:20  And יהוה said to Aharon, “You are not to have an inheritance in their land, nor have any portion in their midst. I am your portion and your inheritance among the children of Yisra’ĕl.
Num 18:21  “And see, I have given the children of Lĕwi all the tenth/masharah H4643 in Yisra’ĕl as an inheritance in return for the service which they are serving, the service of the Tent of Meeting.

Masharah: H4643 מַעַשְׂרָה

Masharah has the root word ‘ashar/asharah’ H6235/H6236 which also means ‘ten’.

It’s amazing to see the word ‘asharah’ has ‘Sarah’ H8283 rooted in it, and the word ‘ashayray’ has got ‘Sarai’ H8297 rooted in it. Sarah was Sarai before but Yahuah named her as ‘Sharah’.
H6185 ‘sarai’ comes from the root word ‘shar’ which means ruler and ray which means ‘watering’. The picture is of the promise of the shar/ruler who was promised from above, her name also has the root ‘arayray’ in ‘ashayray’ H6224 which means ‘barren’

עֲשִׂירִי H6224

H8282 ‘sharah’ means ‘princess’ and has the root words ‘shar’ which means ‘ruler’ and ‘rah’ means ‘flow’. Put together ‘The ruler flows through her’

Gen 17:15 And Elohim said to Aḇraham, “As for Sarai your wife, do not call her name Sarai, for Sarah is her name.

Yahuah changed her name from ‘Sarai’ which shows her ‘barrenness’ and the promise of being watered/ray with the ruler/shar to ‘Sarah’ which means ‘princess’ which shows the ‘ruler flowing through her’
The other amazing fact seen is ‘ashayray H6224’ means ‘’one-tenth’’ being changed to the whole ‘ten’ H6235 ‘asharah’ עֲשָׂרָה which is a complete number and can be seen in the complete circle of a bracelet H8285 as ‘sharah’ also means ‘bracelet’. An ornament with the complete circle of Yahusha.
The numbers 10, 100 & 1000 speak of completeness in scripture.

Examples: no 10: Rev 2:10 “Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. See, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, in order to try you, and you shall have pressure ten days. Be trustworthy until death, and I shall give you the crown of life.

The assembly of Smurna was told that they would be thrown into prison and be tried for ten days and then Mashiyach tells them ..’’Be trustworthy until death…’’ which shows the ten days was a complete period.

No 100: Luk 15:4 “What man among you, having a hundred sheep, and having lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?

99+1 =100 which is a complete number of the sheep in the fold

No 1000: Psa 50:10 “For every beast of the forest is Mine, The cattle on a thousand hills.
If every beast of the forest is his then the ‘thousand hills’ shows all the hills on which the cattle is, is His.
Coming back to the word ‘tenth/tithe’ masharah H4643 מַעַשְׂרָה

This word has root words ‘masha’ which is the name of ‘Masha’ which means ‘drawn out’, it has the root word ‘asharah’ H6235 which means ‘ten’, it has the root word ‘sharah’ which means ‘princess/bracelet’, it has the root word ‘mah’ which means ‘belly’ and the root word ‘marah’ which means ‘bitter’.

The picture is of the princess who is like a bracelet (a precious ornament) being masha/drawn out of the mah/belly of marah/bitterness into the asharah/ten which is his completeness. A journey from the tenth/tithe of the Torah of khat and muth to the TEN/Completeness of the Torah of life.

The Levites living off the tenth/masharah H4643 in Yasharal shows a portion of the whole. The whole is Yahuah himself as he tells them ‘’I am your portion and your inheritance among the children of Yasharal’’ and stood as a promised until fulfilled in the renewed covenant of the Torah of life.

1Pe 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a preculiar people; so that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
1Pe2:10 which in time past were not a people, but now the people of Elohim; which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Abraham paid the ‘masharah’ to Melchizedek:

Heb 7:1 For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High Al, who met Abraham as he was returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,

I was always wondering how could there be a high priest of the Most High when there was no Masha’s Mishkan (tabernacle) yet, no temple yet, no sacrifices yet? I was amazed to see some facts from scriptures which show that there were high priests of Aluahym before even the Torah was given and this is what is called Dabar period when the father taught his son to sacrifice to Yahuah to be in a covenant with him.

Gen 14:17 Then after his return from the defeat of Chedorlaomer and the kings who were with him, the king of Sodom went out to meet him at the valley of Shaveh that is, the plain of the Kings.
Gen 14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; now he was a priest of Al Alyon.
Gen 14:19 He blessed him and said, Blessed be Abram of Al Alyon, Possessor of heaven and earth;
Gen 14:20 And blessed be Al Alyon, who has delivered your enemies into your hand. He gave to him a tithe/masharah H4643 of the MAN /Kind of H4480 WHOLE/KAL H3605

Most translations omit the word ‘man’ H4480 which means ‘kind of/species’ and also means ‘portion’. The Abary word ‘kal’ means ‘’whole/complete/all’’

The ‘masharah’ is the deliverance of ‘Sarah’ his wife whose name means princess as being masha/drawn out of the mah/belly of marah/bitterness into the asharah/ten which is his completeness. Hence ‘masharah’ is a deliverance price of one-tenth of the whole who is Mashiyach himself who will come through her womb as the ‘shar/ruler’ who will deliver her barreness into fruitfulness. The Ruach is hidden in the letter.

Who was Melchizedek? Yasher 16 which is a historical book identifies Mechizedek to be ‘Shem’ the son of Noach. While the scriptures are silent on the actual name of Melchizedek a close look at scriptures show him being Shem. Melchizedek king of Salem (peace) came out to Abraham with peace offerings bread (symbolizing the shew bread) and the wine (drink offerings).

Heb 7:4 Now observe how great this man was to whom Abraham, the patriarch, gave a tenth of the choicest spoils.

And Levi who accepts tithe from the people was still in the loins of Abraham spiritually paying the tithe to Melchizedek through Abraham though not being born.

Heb 7:5 And those indeed of the sons of Levi who receive the office of the priesthood have a commandment in the Torah to collect a tenth/masharat H4643 from the people, that is, from their brethren, although they come out of the loins of Abraham.
Heb 7:6 But he whose genealogy is not counted from them collected a tenth from Abraham and blessed him that had the promises.
Heb 7:7 But without any dispute the lesser is blessed by the greater (ha Gadal).

The high priest stood in righteousness in blessing Abraham and passing on his priestly blessing over to him. We then have scripture confirming Abraham sacrificing for the first time because now he had the high priestly blessing upon him which was a custom of a father giving his birth right to his son which began right from Adam.

Gen 15:9 So He said to him, Bring for Me a three year old heifer, and a three year old female goat, and a three year old ram, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

While scripture doesn’t record of Adam sacrificing on the altar, how else would Abel learn to sacrifice and his sacrifice was acceptable to Yahuah? It was obvious that this high priestly blessing was passed upon him by Adam.

Gen 4:4 and Abel brought, he also, from the firstlings of his flock and of their fat portions. And Yahuah had regard for Abel and for his offering;

Why would scripture compare Yahusha ha Mashiyach with Abel if Abel would not have been a type of high priest?

Heb 12:24 and to Yahusha, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.

What did Esau loose? He lost his birthright as he sold this birthright to his brother Yaqoob much before than he lost it and though he sought repentance carefully with tears he did not get it.

Heb 12:16 lest there be any fornicator, or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his own birthright.
Heb 12:17 For you know that afterwards, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

Just after Yaqoob received the high priestly blessing he saw the ladder going to heaven

Gen 28:16 Then Ya’aqob awoke from his sleep and said, Surely Yahuah is in this place, and I did not know it. Gen 28:17 He was afraid and said, How awesome is this place! This is none except the house of Aluahym, and this is the gate of the heavens. Gen28:18 So Ya’aqob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put under his head and placed it as a memorial and poured oil on its top. Gen 28:19 He called the name of that place Beth AL (house of AL); yet, Luz was the name of the city at first.

Didn’t Yahusha say in Yahuchanan 1:51 And He said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you shall see the heavens opened and the angels of Aluahym ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”

The house of AL is Yahusha the Kahan ha Gadal and through the high priestly blessing upon him Yaqoob saw and testified of Mashiyach.

Gen 11:10 These are the generations of Shem. Shem was one hundred years old, and fathered Arpachshad two years after the flood; Gen 11:11 and Shem lived five hundred years after he fathered Arpachshad, and he fathered sons and daughters.

Shem lived 500 years after the flood. He outlived Abraham.

Gen 11:12 Arpachshad lived thirty-five years, and fathered Shelah;----35
Gen 11:14 Shelah lived thirty years, and fathered Eber;-30
Gen 11:16 Eber lived thirty-four years, and fathered Peleg;-34
Gen 11:18 Peleg lived thirty years, and fathered Reu;-30
Gen 11:20 Reu lived thirty-two years, and fathered Serug;-32
Gen 11:22 Serug lived thirty years, and fathered Nahor;-30
Gen 11:24 Nahor lived twenty-nine years, and fathered Terah;-29
Gen 11:26 Terah lived seventy years, and fathered Abram, Nahor and Haran.-70
35+30+34+30+32+30+29+70 =290

Shem was 390 years when Abraham was born. 100 years upto the flood plus 290 until Abraham. Shem lived 500 years after he begat Arpachshad.

Gen 11:32 And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.

Terah lived 135 years (205-70 =135) after Abraham was born while Shem would have been 525 years when Terah died.

Gen 12:4 So Abram departed, as Yahuah had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

Abraham left his father’s house while his father was yet alive and he was 75 years old.

Gen 25:7 These are the days of the years of Abraham’s life that he lived, one hundred and seventy-five years.
Gen 25:8 Abraham expired and died in a good old age, aged, and satisfied and he was gathered to his people.

Shem was still alive even after Abraham died at 175. Shem would have been 390+175= 565 years when Abraham died and he lived another 37 years after Abraham to sum up 602 years (100 years unto flood +2 when Arpachshad was born+ 500 years after Arpachshad was born) and died.

Since the Abary lineage was from Shem, it’s quite possible that he was Melchizedek as stated in Yasher 16, a title attributed to him as per dabar.

This is what Yasher 16 records

11 And Adonizedek king of Jerusalem, the same was Shem, went out with his men to meet Abram and his people, with bread and wine, and they remained together in the valley of Melech.12 And Adonizedek blessed Abram, and Abram gave him a tenth from all that he had brought from the spoil of his enemies, for Adonizedek was a priest before God.

Gen 21:5 Now Abraham was one hundred years old when his son Yitschaq was born to him.
Abraham was 100 years old when his son Yitschaq was born to him.
Gen 25:20 and Yitschaq was forty years old when he took Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel the Aramean of Paddan-aram, the sister of Laban the Aramean to him, to be his wife.

Abraham was 140 years old when Yitschaq took Rebekah to be his wife. So Shem would have been 290+140 = 430 years when Yitschaq got married to Rebekah.

Gen 25:21 Yitschaq prayed to Yahuah on behalf of his wife, because she was barren; and Yahuah was entreated for him and Rebekah his wife conceived.
Gen 25:22 But the children struggled together in her womb; and she said, If it is so, why then am I this way? So she went to inquire of Yahuah.

Where did Rebekah go to inquire if not to the high priest? There was no Mishkan, no tabernacle yet, no Levitical priesthood, no ephod, no Torah yet. She must have gone to the high priest at Salem to inquire from Yahuah.

When Yitschaq married Rebekah he was 40 and Shem 430. Shem lived another 70 years to sum up his life span of 500 years. So Yitschaq would have been 110 years (40 + 70 =110) when Shem died.

2Pe3:7 But the heavens and earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and destruction of lawless men.
2Pe3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with Yahuah as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Not even one from our fathers who were type of high priests crossed the thousand-year mark to complete a day in Yahuah’s eyes but we have our Mashiyach with the power of an endless life.

Gen 5:5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
Adam fell short of the 1000 years. The longest one to live was MethuSelah

Gen 5:27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

After his transgression Adam built and altar and offered sacrifices to Yahuah. When he died later his son Seth became high priest in his place and when he died the priesthood went to Methuselah who lived right until the flood during Noach’s time. Noach learned the laws of sacrifice clean and unclean from Methuselah his great grandfather who was still alive when he was born.

Gen 8:20 And Noah builded an altar unto Yahuah; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
Gen 8:21 And Yahuah smelled a sweet savour; and Yahuah said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

Gen 5:26 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
Gen 5:27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
Gen 5:28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
Gen 5:29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which Yahuah hath cursed.

Methuselah lived 782 years after Lamech was born. Lamech was 182 years when Noach was born which means Methuselah was 187 years when Lamech was born (969-782=187) and 369 years when Noach was born (187+182=369).

Gen 5:25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:
Noach was 500 years old when he begat Shem, Ham and Yapeth.

Gen 5:32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Yapheth

Methuselah would have been 500+369 = 869 years when Shem was born and would have lived another 100 years making his total life span of 969 years. Shem would have been 100 years when Methuselah died and Noach would have been 600 years.

Gen 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

So the flood came upon the earth just after Methuselah died. Noach found grace in the eyes of Yahuah and the high priestly blessing was transferred to him.

The priesthood of Melchizedek was not through the law of a carnal commandment but through dabar as we read in Pslams 110:4

Psa 110:4  יהוה has sworn and does not relent, “You are a priest forever According to the order of Malkitseḏeq.”

Jer 23:5 Behold, the days come, saith Yahuah that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
Jer 23:6 In his days Yahudah shall be saved, and Yasharal shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, Yahuah Tsadakanu.

Some translations say ‘Adonizedek’

Later on this title became a known title for a ruler/king dwelling in Yarushalam.

Thus Melchizedek’s priesthood was the doorway to the Son who is the Kahan Gadal who gave himself for us. While Melchizedek a title for a priesthood through dabar, all the high priests including Shem died falling short of the complete 1000 years yet this priesthood lives forever in Mashiyach in an endless life

Heb 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of Aluahym; abideth a priest continually.

It is no coincidence that his name Sham (Shin Mem) means ‘breath’ and also means ‘name’ which speaks of ‘breath of vanity’ and is temporal and passing away. Whereas Mashiyach ‘s breath is the RUAH which he will give his people at his appearing and is immortal.

Thus the ‘masharah/one-tenth’ given to the earthly priest who couldn’t attain the ‘alaph shanah/ thousand years’ was in hope of the eternal kahan ha gadul/high priest Yahusha ha Mashiyach the whole portion, the ‘asharah/ten’ in whom is the wholeness/completeness.

The Torah which came written later came as a hope of deliverance in the one-tenth/masharah given to the Levites as a reminder that Yahusha the whole portion i.e. the ‘asharah’ would make his people complete by paying the redemption price himself for his princess in ending her barrenness through child bearing.

1Ti 2:14  And Aḏam was not deceived, but the woman, having been deceived, fell into transgression.
1Ti 2:15 But she shall be saved in childbearing if they continue in belief, and love, and set-apartness, with sensibleness.

Speaking of Sarah and Hagar as allegory for the heavenly and earthly Yerushalam, Shaul the emissary said of Sarah quoting YashaYahu 54:1

Gal 4:27  For it has been written, “Rejoice, O barren, you who do not bear! Break forth and shout, you who do not have birth pains! For the deserted one has many more children than she who has a husband.”
Gal 4:28 And we, brothers, as Yitsḥaq was, are children of promise.

Lev 27:32 ‘And the WHOLE/KAL H3605 tithe/masharah H643 of the herd and of the flock, the WHOLE/KAL H3605 which crosses over/abar H5674 under the staff/shabath (shin bet tet) H7626, the tenth/ashayray H6224 one is set-apart to יהוה.

The whole ‘masharah’ (Sarah masha/drawn out of the mah/belly of mar/bitterness) are the elect who are the flock of Yahusha who cross over/abar (The word Abary comes from abar which means crossed over) under the staff, the ashayray (which has Sarai rooted in it which shows the promise of the end of barrenness) shall be set-apart to Yahuah.

Those who see ‘tithe’ with their physical senses will never be able to understand the price that our Master paid for our redemption to make us WHOLE.

Isa 6:8  And I heard the voice of יהוה, saying, “Whom do I send, and who would go for Us?” And I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
Isa 6:9  And He said, “Go, and you shall say to this people, ‘Hearing, you hear, but do not understand; and seeing, you see, but do not know.’
Isa 6:10  “Make the heart of this people fat, and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and shall turn and be healed.”
Isa 6:11  Then I said, “יהוה, until when?” And He answered, “Until the cities are laid waste and without inhabitant, and the houses are without a man, and the land is laid waste, a ruin,
Isa 6:12  and יהוה has removed men far away, and the forsaken places be many in the midst of the land.
Isa 6:13 Yet there shall be a tenth/ashayray H6224 in it, and it shall return/shub H7225, and shall be consumed/bar H1197 as a terebinth/alah H424, and as an oak/alun H437 whose stump/matsabath H4678 is in them, when it is felled/shalakath H7995. The holy seed is its stump/matsabath H4678.

Speaking of the remnant whom Yahuah would keep close to him, the promise is seen again in the word ‘ashayray’ which has the promise of the end of barrenness as a terebinth/alah, it’s interesting to see the word ‘alah’ which has the ‘AL’ in it which is the short form for Alahym and also ‘alah’ means ‘swear/oath’, it also means power (The power or might of one who rules or teaches. One who yokes with another)

The oak again has ‘AL’ the short form for ‘Alahym’ and the ‘un’ shows the ‘strength’

The word translated as ‘stump’ is the word ‘matsabath’ has the root words ‘mats’ which means ‘squeeze’ and is the root word in ‘matsah’ H4682 which means ‘unleavened bread’. The word ‘matsabath’ also has the word ‘bet’ which means ‘house/tent/body’. The word ‘matsabath’ is also translated as ‘pillar’. The word for felled is ‘shalakath’ which has root words ‘shal’ which means ‘draw out’ and ‘kat’ which means ‘crush’ (Draw out and crush). And the Qodesh/Holy seed is the ‘matsabath’. The Ruach is hidden in the letter and we see the beautiful picture of the ‘Barren Sarai/ ashayray returning/shub and being consumed/bar with the oath/alah made to her as ‘Al-strong’ whose unleavened bread body is in her, when it is drawn out/shal and crushed/kat. The qodesh seed is it’s unleavened bread body’.

It’s an amazing picture of Mashiyach as the consummation of the oath made to end her barrenness as he would spring forth from her womb in delivering her in child bearing whose body in her when it is drawn out and crushed for her and her seed’s sins.

Eze 45:10  “Have right scales, and a right ĕphah, and a right bath.
Eze 45:11 “Let the ĕphah and the bath be of the one/ahkad H259 measure/takan H8506, so that the bath contains one-tenth/masharah H4643 of a ḥomer/khamar H2563, and the ĕphah one-tenth/ashayray H6224 of a ḥomer/khamar H2563. Let their measure/matakanath H4971 be according to the ḥomer/khamar H2563.

Exo 16:36 And an omer/amar H6016 is one-tenth/ashayray H6224 of an ĕphah H374.
The ephah and bath were OT measures and Yahuah says to have a righteous measure/takan. The word takan is the same word used in Ezekiel 28 where it says of Shatan that he seals up the sum/takan.

‘takan’ H8505 which means ‘to measure/weigh/estimate/sum’. Takan: Tau/Covenant Kan/Base: ‘Covenant base’

It’s interesting to see Exodus 16:36 using the word ‘amar’ H6016 which also means ‘sheaf’ and is used in reference to Yahusha being the firstfruits/bakar and is pre-eminent as he is the firstborn over all creation and firstborn from the dead.

Lev 23:10 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, and you shall say to them, ‘When you come into the land which I give you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf/amar H6016 of the first-fruits of your harvest to the priest.
Lev 23:11  ‘And he shall wave the sheaf/amar H6016 before יהוה, for your acceptance. On the morrow after the Sabbath the priest waves it.

Exo 16:36 shows the manna was measured in a sheaf/amar which was one tenth/ashayray (in hope of end of barrenness) of an ephah. The manna is also in the word which we saw H4480 which also means ‘portion’. The manna came in portions and not WHOLE and stood for the true bread who would come down from heaven i.e. Mashiyach.

The word used in Ezekiel 45:11 is khamar (homer) as they pronounce it and means ‘Clay/Mortar’ and it speaks of mankind who is mud/clay. The ephah and bath (bath also means ‘house/tent/body) were to be of AHKAD/ONE MEASURE/TAKAN.
The bath (which also means house/tent/body) was to be one-tenth/masharah /Sarah drawn out/mash of the belly/mah of bitterness/mar &
The ephah one-tenth /ashayray/Sarai in a promise of deliverance of barrenness of clay/khamar.

The measure of ephah and bath were made one in Mashiyach who is the true measure, the TEN and the promise of making the portion one-tenth/masharah or ashayray WHOLE/KAL in him.

Rev 11:13 And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth/asharayat of the city fell, and in the earthquake were killed names of men seven thousand and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the El of heaven.

The ‘ashayray’ went through a shaking/earthquake which killed seven thousand (figurative of those in the carnal city Yerushalam i.e. the seed of Hagar who are in bondage), while the remnant who saw the promise of the deliverance of Sarai from her barrenness through Mashiyach were terrified and gave glory to the AL of heaven while the carnal seed who couldn’t see fell away.
