Exposition on Revelation 13

The scroll of Revelation is one of the most difficult scrolls to understand because it is full of imageries, symbolisms. The language is parabolic and hence we must depend on Yahusha to reveal to us what the imagery is all about.

To begin with we must first understand and unwind the Greek & Hebrew roots carnal mindset that we come by because that could cause a stumbling block in to understand the imagery. There is no word called beast (greek: behemoth) but living creature (chayah חיה) and it refers to man who has the breath of life in him whom shatan uses to fulfill his will. The word in Greek is 'therion' which is like a sacrifical animal.

Eph 2:2 in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now works in the sons of disobedience.

With this truth when we read Rev 13 we can have a good start in now seeing what the deception is all about. The Hebrew word for dragon is ‘tanayan’ which can be broken down into ‘than תן ’ which means hire/gift/sea animal and ‘ýan ין ’ from ‘yanah ינה’ which means ‘oppress’



Put together the dragon is a picture of ‘a giving of oppression.’

In Rev 13:1 Yahuchanan saw the living creature coming out of the sea and he had ten horns (complete rule) and seven heads (total resh measured)

Rev 13:1  And I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads names of blasphemy. 

Number 10 in scripture portrays ‘’completeness’’ and number seven portrays ‘’totality of whatever is in view.’’

On his horns were ten crowns. The word used for crowns is ‘’katharyam כתרים ’’

‘’Kathar כתר’’ means surround and ‘’yam ים’’ means waters. Waters is often used for peoples.


The ten horns were in rule and the rule was of the people who surrounded.

Ps 2:1 Why do the nations swarm and the peoples meditate on vanity?
Ps 2:2 The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers take counsel together against Yahuah the Anointed, saying,

Rev 13:1 says on his heads (resh) were blasphemous names. These Resh blasphemed the name of Yahuah.

Rev13:2 And the beast which I saw was the appearance like the appearance of a leopard, and his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority.

The living creature in verse 2 is described as being like a leopard, his feet like bear and his mouth as a lion. It’s interesting to compare each of these beasts to shatan's physical kingdoms in the past. Leopard was Greek, bear was Medes Persia and Lion was Babylon. And the kingdoms are in the reverse order leading to Babylon as compared to Daniel 7:3-7 denoted by lion who was the first in the captivity. Yahuchanan was seeing 3 descriptions of the living creature who came out of the sea. The fourth & dreadful was yet to come which we will see later. If we read Daniel 7:3-6 we can see the description of all the 4 living creatures who take a false 'Basharah' to the ends of the earth deceiving people.

Da 7:3 And four great living creature/chayuan חיון came up from the sea, diverse one from another.
 4 The first was like a lion and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.

 5 And behold another 
living creature/chayuah חיוהa second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.

 6 After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the 
living creature/chayuah חיוה had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.
7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth living creature/chayuah חיוה, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

Remember we are seeing the 3 living creatures typlogy by which the living creature Yahuchanan sees.

Rev 13:2 And the living creature which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority.

The dragon gave him his power and this throne and great authority.


Rev 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it was bruised bruise to death, and his death wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed after the living creature.
Rev13:4 And they worshiped/‘’tachauu תחוו’’ the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like the beast. And who is able to make war with him?

The word ‘’tachauu תחוו’’ is translated as ‘worshiped’ but the actual word means ‘’came to life’’ and this word is correctly translated in Rev 13:14 (the last word in the verse) as came to life.

Rev13:14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to do in the presence of the beast, by saying to those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the living creature  who was struck the wound of the sword and has come to life/'tachay תחי'

Rev 13:4 The English translation says " And they worshipped...."

Verse 14 uses the word 'tachay תחי'. Both 'tachauu תחוו' and 'tachay תחי' mean the same.






shath שת in ya shath tachuu (word above) means subjected/ subdued & shatah שתה means to 'feast'. 

The word shatacuu - seated in feast (shath) chuu/chay ). The feasts came to life.




Chu חו mean life, it's the same word in Eve.



Chauah חוה: Chet Uau hay

Ahlb defines Chu as declare. Ahlb doesn't have word for Eve. 

Rev 13:14 has the word tachay תחי


tachay תחי means came to live/life
Chu חו/chay חי same roots and mean life

It's very important to understand the root of each word to see the whole picture. Of course, the Ruach has to guide us to see that closely or else we can't see. Rev 13:4 is not and they worshipped.
But .... And( Uau) seated in the feast witnessing life. 


The verse should correctly read as:

Rev 13:4 And they came to life towards the dragon because he gave (nathan) his authority to the living creature and they came to life the living creatures, saying, Who is like the living creature, and who is able to wage war with?   
        
Who is this living creature?

We must understand that the synonym 'living creature' has 2 obvious meanings. One has the pattern of Yahuah and the other is in rebellion against the true pattern but comes as a counterfeit to show itself as living. 2 covenants, 2 nations, 2 sons, 2 virgins, 2 women etc. are all pattern of one being from above and the other carnal. The distinguishing ability is only with the elect of Yahusha.

Rev 13 living creature is a ban ha abadun (son of perdition)

Rev 17:8 The living creature that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss (thahum תהום) and go to destruction (abadun אבדון: perdition). And those who dwell on the earth, shall wonder whose name has not been written in the book of life (chay חי) from the foundation of the world,


The word 'thahum תהום ' has the root word 'tam תם' which means 'whole/complete'. The living creature comes out of the whole/complete/full and goes into destruction of khatah חטאה (divers measures).

In 2 Thess 2 Shaul (Paul) calls him the man of khatah חטאה (diverse measures). Khat חט in Hebrew means 'measure'

2 Th2:3 Let no man in any way deceive you, for it shall not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of sin (khatah חטאה: diverese measures) is revealed, the son of destruction (ban ha abadun),

The man of diverse measures is not one man but men who are in opposition to the ONE true measure.

Rev 6:5 When He broke the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, Come and see. I looked, and behold, a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.
Rev 6:6 And I heard something like a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A omer of wheat for a dinar, and three omer of barley for a dinar; and do not damage the oil and the wine.

Wheat harvest in Yasharal is the final harvest just before winter. That’s during Sukkot (feast of tabernacles) and the barley harvest is the first month during Passover.

The rider on the black (shachar שחר : rooted in dawn/dusk) horse had scales in his hand and he weighed the wheat harvest of one omer/sheaf for a dinar and he weighed the barley harvest of three sheafs for a dinar.


One omer is one sheaf and three omers is three sheafs.

Ex 16:36 Now an omer is a tenth of an ephah.

The measurement was tenth of an ephah and the wheat and barley sheaves were used as a wave offering to Yahuah reminding him of his covenant to gather his people the first fruits into his barn. Now something was going to change drastically and that can be seen in Rev 6. Decoding the omer עמר we see an omer is 1/10th of an ephah. Hence, the tenth of the ephah and three tenths of ephah was going to be sold for a dinar.

Dinar is of Latin origin and was a small Roman coin. No where in the OT is a dinar ever mentioned. The wheat harvest and the barley harvest i.e. the firstfruits were now going to go in katah (divers measures).

From omer/ephah to dinar.

Rev 6:6-the black horse rider was told not to hurt the oil and the wine. What is significant of the oil and the wine?

Ex 29:36 Daily you shall offer a bull as a khatath (whole measure) for atonement, and you shall do the purification upon the altar when you make atonement for it, and you shall anoint it to consecrate it.
Ex29:37 For seven days you shall make atonement for the altar and consecrate alaph tau uau; then the altar shall be the holy (qodesh) of holies (qodeshiym), and whatever touches the altar shall be holy (qodesh).
Ex29:38 Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: two SON (banay)-lambs of a year old daily, continuously.

Many translations ignore the ‘ban’ and translate the word as HE-lamb.

Ex 29:39 The one lamb you shall offer in the morning and the other lamb you shall offer between the evenings;
Ex 29:40 and there shall be one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of beaten oil, and one-fourth of a hin of wine for a drink offering with one lamb.
Ex 29:41 The other lamb you shall offer between the evenings, you shall make to it as the grain offering of the morning, and as its drink offering, for a sweet fragrance, by a fire offering to Yahuah.

The two lambs offering daily and for consecration of the altar is significant because it was fulfilled by Yahusha when he hung on the stake. Yahuah fulfilled Torah by bringing about darkness upon the whole land at sixth hour (noon time) until the ninth hour (evening oblation) thus enjoining the morning and the evening sacrifice by the offering of his body on the tree. ONE Lamb with the perfect measure of ephah mixed with the perfect measure of oil and a perfect measure of wine as a drink offering. Oil/shemen שמן and Wine/yayan יין symbolize the Ruach regeneration in the consecrated sacrifice signified by 1/4th of a hin.

Hin הין H1969 is a standard of measuring liquid and has the root word 'han הן' which means 'here/there' which is a pointed-out location. It also has the root word 'hun הון' which means 'substance' as in something that is abundant that fills what is desired.
The Ruach substance is being told not to be touched for the Torah was a school master leading to Mashiyach and the letter contained the ruach hidden in it. 

Matt 27:45 Now from the sixth hour darkness fell upon all the land until the ninth hour.
Matt 27:46 About the ninth hour Yahusha cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Alay, Alay, Lamah azabtani?” that is, “My AL, My AL, why have you forsaken Me?”

Let’s continue with Rev 13:

Rev 13:5 And there was GIVEN (allowed) a mouth speaking great blasphemies, and authority to continue forty-two months was given.

Rev 11:2 Leave out the court which is outside the temple and do not measure it, for it has been given to the GUYM; and they shall tread underfoot the holy city for forty-two months.
Rev 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against the Aluahym, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven. 

We saw 42 months corresponds to 1260 days as 42 months x 30 days = 1260 days.
Time (360 lunar days in a year), Times (360 x 2 =720) and dividing of time (360/2 = 180). It all adds to 1260 days.

Rev13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against the Elohim, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, and those who dwell in the heavens.
Rev13:7 And it was given to him to make war with the holy ones and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him. 
Rev13:8 All who dwell on the earth shall worship Him, whose names are not written in the scroll of life which is of the Lamb having been slain from the day of the foundation of the world. 
Rev13:9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 

Rev13:10 He who brings into captivity/shebi שבי, in/ba ב captivity שהי he shall go, he who kills with the sword, he shall be killed with the sword. Here is the endurance and the faith of the set-apart ones. 

shab שב in Hebrew means 'turn'
Beyt denoted by the letter B/ב means 'body/in'

The body becomes as carcass as within it the turning in cycles of Torah of sin and death are observed. The sword also has the Beyt denoted by the letter B/ב means 'body/in' 
Captivity in captivity, sword in sword which kills those occupied in the fleshly cycles of Shemitah.

Rev 13:11 And I saw another/acharay אחרי living creature coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a horned lamb and he spoke as a dragon.

Acharay means one who follows the other. A change of form or appearance later, someone whose identity is hidden. And this is the fourth and diverse living creature than the other 3. He comes as the LAMB but his speech is of the DRAGON.

Rev13:12 He exercises all the authority of the first living creature in his presence. And he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first living creature, whose deadly wound was healed, that was to it.

The living creature is the same, its just that he is come alive from the mortal wound of the sword and makes an image to the living creature. Here is why we need a Covenant Hebrew mindset because the image in Hebrew is 'tsalam צלם' which also means 'shadows.'

tsal צל H6738 means shadow, the plural 'tsalam צלם' means 'shadows'

This is clear that the people are taken back into the shadows of Torah. Back to the carnal letter which kills. The mortal wound to its head shows this living creature was dormant within the Corporate body but they came out claiming they are ALIVE.

Rev13:13 And he performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of the heavens to the earth in the presence of sons of men.

The great signs spoken of are seen by Hebrew roots movement to mean preachers as Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin etc. to perform the act of the slain in the spirit. I have heard all these kinds of pin pointing. What the Hebrew roots movement fail to see is that it speaks about themselves in misleading, as they try take position of being like the prophet Eliyah who called fire down from heaven. They to cause to deceive the people that if they don't observe the Torah of sin and death then this will befall them. EliYahu was a true prophet, but these take a prophetic stand to revive the sacrificial. 

2Ki1:10 EliYahu answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I am a man of Elohim, let fire come down from the heavens and consume you and your fifty. Then fire came down from the heavens and consumed him and his fifty


Rev13:14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to do in the presence of the beast, by saying to those who dwell on the earth to make an image/צלם tsalam to the living creature who was struck the wound of the sword and has come to life.

Shatan causes the mortals on earth occupying them in signs in showing them that there is a blessing in being seated in the feasts and prophesies that Aluahym is in these physical feasts. This was the living creature which was wounded by the sword and had come to life. The living creature was once occupied in carnal ordinances until Mashiyach fulfilled them. The assembly came into the truth of Yahuah’s word in seeing the fulfillment of all these carnal ordinances. But this living creature comes back to life in getting people in the bondage of carnal ordinances.

The word for wound is makhatah which has the root word kat means crush/strike.


The wound was from the sword. The word for sword is charab.

Gen3:24 So He drove the man out; and at the east of the garden (gan) of Adan (witness of life) He stationed the cherubim (karab: kaph resh bet) and the flaming (lahat: secret) sword (charab: chet rest bet) whirling around to guard the way to the tree of life.

The carnal man was driven out from the true witness of life (Adan) and the karub with the secret sword whirling around to guard the way to the tree of life.

Lahat: secret


This secret sword turned every way/whirled. The word translated as every way/whirled is hapak which means ‘’overturn.’’


The verse would read as:

Gen 3:24 So He drove the man out; and at the east of the garden (gan) of Adan (witness of life) He stationed the cherubim and the secret sword overturning around to guard the way to the tree of life.

All those coming against the true pattern would be overturned by the secret sword.

Rev13:15 And it was given to him to give spirit to the image/tsalam צלם of the living creature, that the image/tsalam צלם of the living creature should speak and cause that as many as would not worship the image/tsalam צלם of the living creature to be killed.

The living creature is influenced to be occupied in signs/shadows and their witness is against Yahuah’s dabar and the fear put is if you do not observe the Sabbaths and the feasts then you will die. They have different calendars and the proofs they give from them to convince and deceive kills those occupied in them.

Rev13:16 And he causes that all of them, from the small until the great, And if the rich and if the poor, and also sons of the free and also the servants, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead,

Deut 11:18 You shall impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul; and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. 

Again, it is so important to have a Covenant Hebrew mindset where we understand the New Covenant in the new creation order causes the words of Alahym to be impressed in our hearts and mind, but these go back to printed words on frontlets, on hands, tzizits etc. Its a picture of going back to the carnal letter to show set-apartness of themselves but they are actually worshipping the living creature who has Shatan's authority.

Rev17:5 and on her forehead a name was written, in the way of mystery, Babel the great, the mother of prostitutes and of the abominations of the earth. 

The name was on Mystery Babylon's forehead and the same name of her witness is given to her children both rich, poor, slaves and free on their forehead or right hand as though it is a witness of Aluahym.

Rev13:17 and that no one shall be able to buy or to sell, except he that has the mark, or the name of the living creature or the number of his name.

The Hebrew word for buy is 'qanah קנה' which means 'buy' or 'acquire'


Comes from root word qan which means acquire/nest.


The Hebrew word for Sell: makar-merchandise/sell


The root word is kar כר which means captain (H3733) lamb (H3733c)

This same word kar כר is rooted in ‘karub כרוב’ lamb in the house or captain in the house.

The karubs played a major role in guarding the pattern of Yahuah. Shatan's man of sin is also called a covering karub.

Eze28:16 By the abundance of your trade they filled your midst with violence, and you sinned. So, I cast you profaned from the mountain of Aluahym. And I have destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire

The karubs were seen over the mercy seat in the holy of holies/Most Set-Apart Place, in garden of Eden where they were placed to guard the way to the tree of life. If you read Ezekiel 28 shatan's man of sin is the covering karub. And shatan came as the angel of light, like a covering cherub. The language for shatan is a pradox as he is the father of lies from the begining as stated by Yahusha our Alahym.

Eze 28:13 You were in Eden, the garden of Aluahym; Every precious stone was your covering: the ruby, the topaz and the diamond; the beryl, the onyx and the jasper; the sapphire, the turquoise and the emerald; And the gold, the workmanship of your tabrets and of your pipes, was in you. On the day that you were created they were prepared.

Within the kingdom of Aluahym was the false witness of Shatan who occupies the living creature in a carnal pattern. The buying and selling merchandise is figurative of basharah/gospel of truth. He causes the elect to be silenced and when elect understand, they flee the carcass. Only his false basharah is being traded in the Corporate body.

Rev13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding count the number (Greek: arithmos) of the living creature, for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six (Greek: Chi xi stigma χξς).

Man was created on the sixth day and designed to enter into Yahuah's Shabbath rest which is the 7th day. 7 oaths/declarations would be unfolded to help His elect to attain the Sabbath Rest. We discussed that the Samaritan woman at the well had 5 husbands, and the sixth one she was living with was not her husband but she was one flesh with him. She found her true husband Mashiyach who is the 7th and she attained the Shabbath rest. The others are just in a carnal cycle of 6-6-6 which is the number of MAN. The 666 or 3 6's is the cycle of vainity and falsehood that Shatan has man going in, which many are on and they dont even know it. They are Marking themselves to be cut off from the Day of Yahuah! As Shatan leads them into Deception and Great Delusions, as the Dabar/Word says that they loved lies rather than truth and profess themselves wise, but have become fools! One will never return to the true Cycles of Yahuah, and His Muadym/Feast/Appointed Times, without the Ruach & the Ruach leads us into the transition as a New Creation in Mashiyach Yahusha, and we in His body are complete and transitioned into the Ruach Shemitah.

The Greek words which are interpreted as 666 is Chi Xi Stigma χξς. Carnal man has always been trying to interpret Alahym's word using his carnal senses. 

Since, they couldn't understand, using the gematria values they translated the chi xi stigma to Hebrew letters  קסר נרון, i. e. Νέρων Καῖσαρ, 'Nero Caesar' who is an ancient emperor, this name is in no way related to the end time living creature coming in ha shatan's authority. (Please look up Thayer's lexicon).

Translators used the numerical value each letter has in any language as the basis of translating the words. For example, they said Chi has a numerical value 600, xi has a numerical value 60 and stigma a numerical value of 6 and hence 666. What they fail to see is that the word used is 'STIGMA στίγμα' G4742 and the word stigma in Greek means 'scar' or 'pierce'. The usage is different than that of the Greek word 'charagma' which means 'mark' as used in 'Mark of the living creature'.
Romans used to pierce or scar their slaves as a mark of their ownership as the slave would have their ownership till he/she died.

CHI (X)

In ancient times, some local forms of the Greek alphabet used the chi instead of xi to represent the /ks/ sound. This was borrowed into the early Latin language, which led to the use of the letter X for the same sound in Latin, and many modern languages that use the Latin alphabet.

Ancient Greeks used the X (chi) for their 'ks' sound as in the word 'exist' and is the same as xi. Hence chi and xi is transliterated as 'X'

Counting the number of the name:


The Greek word for 'COUNT' used in Rev 13:18 is 'psephizo' which comes from the word 'psephos' which means either a 'Pebble as used in counting' or ' use as a counter or ballot as in VOTING' or 'Voicing out'

Example verse:

Ac 26:10 Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice (G5586 psephos ψῆφος) against them.

The Greek word used for number is 'arithmos ἀριθμός G706' which is translated correctly as 'number'. If a definitive number is not given to count this word can be still used as in the below verse:

 Ac 11:21 And the hand of the Adon was with them: and a great number (arithmos ἀριθμός G706) believed, and turned unto the Yahuah.

How much is a great number? 100,1000 or 1000. One can't tell. The number is not definite.

Bible is a spiritual book and Alahym is in no way telling us to mathematically count the number of the beast using numerical values but is asking us to count the number spiritually.

Chi, Xi are consonants and do not form a known Greek word if used as letters. Only Stigma is a word G4742 and the word stigma in Greek means 'scar' or 'pierce'

Therefore, they were taken as a number based upon their numerical value 

Chi (χ) is 600

Xi or Ksi (ξ) is 60

and Stigma changed to Stigma (Στ or ϛ) is 6.

Some manuscripts of the original Koine Greek use the symbols χξϛ chi xi stigma (or χξϝ with a digamma), while other later manuscripts spell out the number in words as the consonants with stigma didn’t make sense stand alone. Hence, they took a gematria value of each letter to formulate 666. Later manuscripts spell it out as

The Greek for “Christ” is Χριστός G5547 and is pronounced “Christos.” The Greek letter “Chi,”which looks like an English letter “X” was the first letter of the Greek word for “Christ”(again, see: Χριστός) which means “the anointed one.”  When scribes were writing documents, they would oftentimes shorten Christos Χριστός to simply “X” just as Christmas is often written as Xmas. 

Hence Chi Xi (X X) Stigma χξς spiritually means 'An X X SCAR'. Just as the mortal wound of the living creature was healed shows that the wound/scar is seen & understood by the elect. Stigma is the same word used by Shaul to describe the scars of Yahusha in his body.

Gal 6:17  From now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the scars/stigma στίγμα G4742 of the Master יהושע.

And the verse says in Rev 13:18 He who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man.

Chi xi stigma is the number of a MAN. Man in Hebrew means Adam which means MAN OF LOW DEGREE. Man is creature of VANITY (Rom 8:20).  Hence its evident that the Creator's name is blotted out and being marked with a scar or be pricked with damnation, and is synonymous with the Mother of All Harlots who had the names of blasphemy on her forehead. The forehead has to have the Name i.e. Yahusha impressed but they just didn't transition because they blotted out His name.

The elect has the Name of Yahusha impressed on their foreheads, while those outside the covenant have the X x scar.

Words using chi χ: χαίρω chairō /A primary verb; to be full of “cheer”, χάλαζα chalaza/hail, χαλάω chalaō/to lower, Χαλδαῖος Chaldaios/Chaldaean, χαλεπός chalepos/fierce

Words using xi ξ:

To sum it all the living creature which was, and is not and shall ascend of the whole was , is not (was not yet revealed at the time when Yahuchanan was writing) and is about to come out of the whole measure to go into abadon/perdition. This living creature will once again rise up to fleshly ordinances of a month by month and year by year witness of uncleanliness.

Rev 17:8 The living creature that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the tham (whole) and go to destruction. And those who dwell on the earth, shall wonder whose name has not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they see the living creature, that he was and is not and shall come.

Time, Times and Dividing of Time

In this study we will see the various places in scripture where Yahuah uses different words which show a deep meaning of the words he used to show us the signs of times.

Dan 12:7 I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, as he raised his right hand and his left toward heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half; and when they have made an end of scattering the power of the holy people, all these events shall be finished.

The words used for time, times and half are ’muaed muaedim wa chetsi'

The word 'muaed' is translated as áppointed time' and in Lev 23 this same word is used to show the appointed feasts of Yahuah.

Lev 23:2 Speak to the sons of Yasharal and say to them, the appointed times (muaeday) of Yahuah which you shall proclaim them as holy convocations; My appointed times (muaeday), they are these:

So the handing of the people of Yah to the beast is during the muaedim of Yahuah until the end of the sacttering of the power of the qodesh people.

Matt24:20 “But pray that your flight shall not be in the winter, or on a Shabbat.”

The muaedim (feasts of Yahuah) come to a complete end with the captivity of his people. This is the picture.



The 'muaed' is the time which is repeated again and again. The root word in muaed is ád'which means witness

Ad also means the womans mensutrational flux

When a virgin is betrothed to her husband the father of the bride places a white sheet on her bed to prove her virginity.

Two is when a woman menstruates she gives a sign that she is capable of bearing a child.

Hence it is a witness.

The reminder of her purification when she walks in the cycles of Yahuah's appointed times where month after month she menstruates and purifies herself according to the commandment in Thurah.

Rev 12:14 But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished there for a time (muaed) and times (muaedim) and half a time (khatsay), from the presence of the serpent.



Khats means divide/arrow which divides the flesh. The picture of muaedim shows us that Yahuah gave us the Thurah of life concealed in the literal to divide flesh from the ruach. Carnal from spiritual.

Daniel 12:7 and Rev 12:14 seem to be contradicting because Daniel is shown the people of Yahuah are given into the hands of the beast for muaed, muaedim and khatsay while Yahuchanan sees the woman given wings of great eagle away from the face of the serpent

We just saw the word ád' in 'muaed' which means a woman's mensurational flux. And muaedim was a continuous reminder year after year just as for the woman her days of purification.

Lev 15:19 When a woman has a discharge, if her discharge in her flesh is blood, she shall be in her menstrual impurity for seven days; and anyone touching her shall be unclean until evening. Lev15:20 Everything also on which she lies on it during her menstrual impurity shall be unclean, and everything on which she sits on it shall be unclean
.Lev15:21 Anyone who touches her bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and he shall be unclean until evening.

Now look at this

Lev15:25 Now if a woman has a discharge of her blood many days, not at the period of her menstrual impurity, or if she has a discharge beyond the period of her menstrual impurity.all the days of her impure discharge as in the days of her menstrual impurity; she is unclean.
Lev15:26 Any bed on which she lies on it all the days of her discharge shall be to her like the bed of her menstrual impurity; and every thing on which she sits on it shall be unclean, like the uncleanness of her menstrual impurity.
Lev15:27 Likewise, whoever touches them shall be unclean and shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and shall be unclean until evening. Lev15:28 When she is clean from her discharge, she shall count off for herself seven days; and afterward she shall be clean.


The woman with the issue of blood came in the crowd and touched Yahusha and when Yahusha asked who touched me she feared and trembled because she knew the Thurah of Masha (Moses) said that whoever touches her or whom she touches would be unclean. But she touched the Thurah giver and was healed instantly and her uncleanliness taken away. That's Mashiyach. He was touched but he didn't become unclean. He didn't go and wash his clothes and had a bath. He is the 'muaedim' of Aluahym.(Luke 8:43-48)

Coming back to examine whether there is a contradiction between Daniel 12:7 and Rev 12:14. Let's examine these passages in the light of Thurah.

If one understands the Thurah then Daniel 12:7 is the woman going in her cycles of mensuration month after month and the muaedim was a reminder of her impurity and her cleansing.

The woman in Rev 12:14 had brought forth a man child.

Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the male child. 
Rev 12:14 But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished there for a time (muaed) and times (muaedim) and half a time (khatsay), from the presence of the serpent.  

Now see the law of Masha when a woman brings forth a man child

Lev 12:2 Speak to the sons of Yasharal, saying: When a woman conceives seed and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean for seven days, as the days of the impurity of her menstruation she shall be unclean.
Lev12:3 On the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.   
Lev12:4 Then she shall remain in the blood of her purification for thirty-three days; she shall not touch any consecrated thing, nor enter into the sanctuary until the days of her purification are completed. 

This Woman is the Spiritual Yarashalam who brings forth the man child i.e. Mashiyach likeness and she is not impure as according to the carnal thurah of khat and mut but is clean already for she brought for the man child she was travailing in birth all along. She is declared pure and is now in the muaed, muaedim and khatsay away from the face of the serpent (nachash).

We saw the word khatsay which means árrow' which divides the flesh. She went in her impurity to the beast in a month by month and year by year carnal ordinances until she brought forth the man child i.e. Yahusha likeness by seeing the ruach in the letter and came out clean as she gave birth to the man child. She now sees the fulfillment of all the carnal ordinances by the man child she brought forth.

Eve was a type of Yarashalam. It was prophesied by Shaul (Paul) that she will be saved in child bearing if she continues in faith, love and sactity with self-restraint.

1Tim 2:14 And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman was deceived, and was brought in the transgression
1Tim2:15 But she shall be preserved through child bearing if they continue in faith and love and sanctity with self-restraint. 

So there is a purpose Yahuah allows his people to go into the beastly captivity and the usage of the words show how he separates the spiritual from the carnal while the carnal continue to remain in their impurity of  carnal ordinances month by month and year by year.

Dan 7:25 He shall speak words against the Most High and shall wear down the saints of the Most High, and he shall intend to change times (zaman) and in law; and they shall be given into his hand for a time (ad), times (adan), and half a time (palag).

Before we look into the above passage when we review the Thurah we see the man who touched the unclean woman would be unclean until evening and the English translates ''ad'' as ''until''

Lev 15:19 When a woman has a discharge, if her discharge in her flesh is blood, she shall be in her menstrual impurity for seven days; and anyone touching her shall be unclean until (ad) evening. 

Yahuah's shabbats & muaedim were from evening to evening and this just one word speaks deep deep need of a cleansing from the impurity of divers measures in our understanding of Yahuah's Thurah.

Now that we have seen the word ád' which means woman in her mensuration impurity and witnesses a need for cleansing when we closely see the word ''ádan'' (ayin dalet nun) we see Eden also spelled with the same spelling. That's where he placed man and his woman for testing them and their carnal nature came forth showing their nakedness and uncleanliness of their flesh.

Hence Adan is an carnal appeasing of the flesh making way for the heavenly Yarashalam. Adan stood as a type while Heavenly Yarashalam is a reality.


 Adam and Eve were driven out from ''Ádan'' (Eden) and the way to the tree of life was guarded by a flaming sword and karubs guarding the way of the tree of life.

Gen 3:24 So He drove the man out; and at the east of the garden of Eden (Adan) He stationed the cherubim and the flaming sword whirling around to guard the way to the tree of life.

The Thurah of Khat and Mut was given in the hands of the mediator through karubs (Cherubs)

Acts 7:53 you who received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.  

Gal 3:19 Why the Law then? It was added because of transgressions, having been ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator, until the seed would come to whom the promise had been made. 

The seed to come was Mashiyach on whom the angels of Aluahym would ascend and descend.

John 1:51 And He said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you shall see the heavens opened and the angels of Aluahym ascending and descending on the Son of Man.” 

Ayin Dalet: Ayin means see and Dalet is door. The question is what are your eyes seeing on the doorway. A carnal appeasement or the true delight which is Mashiyach in the mueadim who fulfilled it?

Nun is life/seed: Adan is See the door for life

It's sad that many see the door being deceived into doing carnal ordinances and that is life to them and they do not realise that they are in the hand of the beast. 

In Daniel 7:25 there is another word used there 'zaman'which is spelled as zayin mem nun



Zaman has the root word 'man' (hebrew word) which means kind of or species or portion



'man' also means manna. The zayin is the weapon which cuts off the man i.e. the portion of manna which the kind of/species (species of men and woman) have the potential to receive.

Now that we have seen the words ad, adan and zaman in Daniel 7:25 let's look at the word ''palag''

ad, adan and palag -Daniel 7:25

Gen 10:25 Two sons were born to ABAR; the name of the one was Palag, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Yaqtan.


‘Palag’ means ‘spilt/division’ –A division by which the boundaries are marked.
Palag has the root word ''pal''


''pal'' means plead or judgement. Palag is broken down into ''pal '' plead and gamal (walk). The picture is of the multitudes walking away from the pleading.

Pey Lamed Gamal (Palag): Pey is the mouth, lamed is teach and gamal is walk.

ad, adan and palag shows us a picture of ....and they shall be given into his hand until a witness and witnessing and until the walking away from that witness.

The witness of  carnal ordinances of khat and mut and the woman walking month by month in her impurity delighting in what she is doing until Yahuah shows her the impurity and she walks away from it separating herself unto Yahuah who himself cleanses her.

The picture is also of a woman who goes to shatan thinking she is doing service to Mashiyach and finds that he is not the bridegroom she is serving she sees is unclean but she sees that she still has the capability to bear the man child so she turns about and runs to Mashiyach in repentance and he helps her by cleansing her and bring forth the man child (Mashiyach likeness) as a virgin who goes in to her husband and consumes her marriage. He makes her a renewed creature from a creature of vanity occupied in fleshly ordinances which can never give life.

Rev 10:6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea, and the things in it, that there shall be time (shahut) no longer,

Rev 10:6 says time no longer

The word for time here used is shahut

Shan Ha Uau Tu

The word time in Rev 10:6 shahuth has Shat rooted in it which means: Seated for feast Shatah also means feast There will be Feast no more.




Shatan changes and distorts the true Pattern, as he tries to wear out the Qadash Ones, but Yah brings us back to see Him and return us to his Cycles of the Turah of Life, found only in Mashyakh Yahusha, while the Carnal follow Shatan in the Muad physically they are still stuck observing what Yahuah caused to cease, the Carnal Turah of Khata (Wrong Measure) and Mut (Death)! In this change and time, many still fail to see the Darkening of the Signs and Time we are in.

Rev 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Master was crucified.  
Rev 11:9 And they of the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations shall look at their dead bodies for three (shalashah) and a half (khatsay) days (yamyam), and shall not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb. 

Sodom: Hebrew word 'Sadam' -Samek Dalet Mem



Has the root word ''sad'' which means field/stocks


Sodom has root word sad ( samek dalet) which means field and also has root word dam ( dalet mem) which means blood

Scripture here tells us the dead bodies of the truthful witness lie in the street of the GREAT CITY ( referring to Yarashalam) which spiritually is called Sodom and Mistyarim where our Master was crucified/impaled



Mitsyarim (Egypt) has the root word 'Matsar' which means sieze/besiege




Tsar rooted in it means enemy


Matsar or Tsar means Enemy/distress/affliction.Yam means waters and often refers to people's
Hence Mistyarim spiritually means enemies.

Where was our Master crucified?

This refers to Yasharal after the flesh. Please read YashaYahu 1 where Yahuah likens Yasharal as Sodom and Amorah

Isa1:8 The daughter of Zion is left like a shelter in a vineyard, like a hut in a garden of cucumbers, like a besieged (natsurah) city.

The natsurah has the root tsur which means distress/ affliction/ enemy as in Mistyarim

Isa1:9 Unless Yahuah of hosts had left us a few survivors, we would be like Sodom, we would be like Gomorrah.
Isa 1:10 Hear the word of Yahuah you rulers of Sodom; Give ear to the law of our Al, you people of Gomorrah.
Isa 1:11 To what are the multitude of your sacrifices to Me? Says Yahuah: I am full of burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed cattle; and I delight not in the blood of bulls, of lambs, or of goats.
Isa 1:12 When you come to appear before Me, who requires this at your hand, to trample My courts?
Isa 1:13 Do not add to bring vain sacrifice; incense is an abomination to Me; Chodesh and Shabbat, the calling of assemblies I cannot endure iniquity and the solemn assembly.
Isa 1:14 I hate your Chodeshim and your appointed feasts, they have become a burden to Me; I am weary to bear them.

Speaking of Yasharal after the flesh Shaul ( Paul) says:

Rom 9:27 YashaYahu cries out concerning Yisrael, Though the number of the sons of Yisrael be like the sand of the sea, it is the remnant that shall be saved; (for he shall finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness)
Rom 9:28 For Yahuah shall execute His word on the earth, thoroughly and quickly.
Rom 9:29 And just as YashaYahu foretold, Unless Yahuah Sabaoth had left to us a posterity, we had been as Sodom, and been made like unto Gomorrah.

Rev 11:8 is a killing of Yahuahs peoples testimony and is likened to the killing of our Master but here it's clear it says spiritually as in comparison to Sodom and Mistyarim ( Egypt)

Amar the root word means to bind sheaves

Sad and amar: the field and the sheaf

Ready to be burned down by fire

2 Pe2:6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live lawlessly;

Why does Yahuah liken the death of Mashiyach and his elects testimony to Sodom and Mistyarim?

Jude1:5 I shall therefore put you in remembrance, though you once know this, how that YAHUAH having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that did not believe.

The Rock that followed them was Mashiyach but yet they did not believe as they held on to the Thurah of Khat and Mut ( measures and death)

Jude1:6 And the angels which did not keep their first estate, but left their habitation, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day,
Jude1:7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, Giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
Jude1:8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
Jude1:9 But Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moshe, dare not bring against him a railing judgment, but said, Yahuah rebuke you!

The body of Masha ( Moses) is the Thurah of Khat and Mut under which a high priest year after year had to offer sacrifice for himself first and then for the people

The whole account can be read in Zechariah 3 where Shatan stands at the right hand of Yahusha the Kahan ha Gadul ( high priest)

To resist him and Yahuah tells him Yahuah rebuke you. Indeed Yahuah rebuked Shatan because the perfect Khatath  ( measure) high priest came and offered his life for us

Yahuah speaks of Shatan ...''is not this an UD plucked out of fire?'' Zech 3:2


UD means charcoal plucked out of fire. One day that charcoal will burn and be destroyed
Shatan disputed the Thurah because the high priest in it was sinful ( excuse me for this word) and Yahuah gives the high priest who also is named Yahusha ( our Saviors name) a change of rainment for his filthy garments and forgives his sin.

This high priest signified by the same name Yahusha as a type now could serve in a shadow of the reality of the true Yahusha who is YAHUAH in the flesh the pure and Qodesh.

Yahuah himself would rebuke Shatan. The service to Yahuah would now be in the newness of the Ruach and not in the oldness of the letter.

Now with this background lets lead Rev 11:9 Rev11:9 And they of the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations shall look at their dead bodies for three (shalashah) and a half (khatsay) days (yamyam), and shall not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.

Let's look closely at the phrase ''yamyam shalashah khatsay'' in Rev 11:9

The word shalashah has the root word 'shal' which means ''draw out''


Hence ''shalashah'' means drawing out

yamyam shalash is 'Days of drawing out'


And ''khatsay'' means dividing/separation

The ruach entered them and they stood on their feet after the days of drawing out and division
The Thurah of Ruach of life giving khay/breath to revive the testimony. That's why we are able to see the separation of wheat and tares.Whereas Yasharal after the flesh is not able to see this separation

Rev 11:9 shows the coming out of captivity through the Ruach of life which entered the ''witness'' to make those fallen to stand on their feet and be caught up to the spiritual Yarashalam.

Lastly lets look at Rev 17:9. Only those separated from the whore will be able to see her nakedness. The others who can't see are still involved with her.

Rev 17: 9. zeh hamuban ubo chak’mah shib’`ath hara’shiym shib’`ath hariym hemah ‘asher ha’ishah yoshebeth `aleyhem. 

Rev 17:9 Here is the mind which has wisdom. The seven (shaba) heads (ha rashayam) are seven (shaba) mountains (harayam) where the woman sits on them,


The word Shaba is translated as seven. The root shab is in Shabbath. And Shaba means oath/ swear.







The word translated as sit is yashabat which has the Shabbath in it

The word translated as mountains is haryam.'Har' means mountain/ high place. 'Yam' means waters. The word 'resh/rosh' also means first, it also means first head.

shaba also means week and shabua means weeks



The first of weeks on which the woman shabbaths are the first ones lifted up from many waters
That's what the verse shows us spiritually.

Rev 17:9 Here is the mind of wisdom needs to be looked deeper

The word translated as 'mind' is the word 'hamuban'. The word is broken down as ''hamu'' and ''ban''

'ham/hamu' means a multitude/roar/sea



ban means son


Put together 'hamuban' is 'Roar of the Son' 

The word wisdom is chakam which has the root word chak which means palate. Palate means a person's ability to distinguish between and appreciate different flavours.




Put together Rev 17:9 Here is the roar of the son able to distinguish, the first weeks are the first lifted ones out of many waters on whom the woman shabbaths

Shalum to Yahauh's spiritual Yasharal, Baruk Ha Ba Bashem Yahuah.
