Hebraic roots or Greek culture? Part 1

Ge 9:27 Alahim shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

In our previous studies we have seen who the sons of Noah were and what is the relevance of this prophecy for the Gentiles elect who come back to the tents of Shem as prophesied by Noah. We saw that Shem was the father of the Jews, Ham was the father of the Canaanites and all those belonging to Babel and Japheth the father of the Gentiles.

Children of Shem: Ge 10:22 The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.

In the New Testament Luke records Joseph's lineage back to Shem. Here are the scriptures:

Luke3:23 When He began His ministry, Yahushua Himself was about thirty years of age, being, as was supposed, the son of Yoseph, the son of Eli,
24 the son of Matthat, the son of Levi, the son of Melchi, the son of Jannai, the son of Yoseph,
25 the son of MattathYah, the son of Amos, the son of Nahum, the son of Hesli, the son of Naggai, 26 the son of Maath, the son of MattathYah, the son of Semein, the son of Yoseph, the son of Yodah,
27 the son of Yahuchanan, the son of Rhesa, the son of Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, the son of Neri,
28 the son of Melchi, the son of Addi, the son of Cosam, the son of Elmadam, the son of Er,
29 the son of Yahushua (Joshua), the son of Eliezer, the son of Jorim, the son of Matthat, the son of Levi,
30 the son of Simeon, the son of Judah, the son of Yoseph, the son of Jonam, the son of Eliakim,
31 the son of Melea, the son of Menna, the son of Mattatha, the son of Nathan, the son of Daud,
32 the son of Jesse, the son of Obed, the son of Boaz, the son of Salmon, the son of Nahshon,
33 the son of Amminadab, the son of Admin, the son of Ram, the son of Hezron, the son of Perez, the son of Yahudah
34 the son of Jacob, the son of Isaac, the son of Abraham, the son of Terah, the son of Nahor,
35 the son of Serug, the son of Reu, the son of Peleg, the son of Heber, the son of Shelah
36 the son of Cainan, the son of Arphaxad, the son of Shem, the son of Noah, the son of Lamech

Sons of Japeth:

Ge 10:2 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
3 And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4 And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5 By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

Sons of Ham:

Ge 10:6 ¶ And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.
7 And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
9 He was a mighty hunter before Yahuah: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before Yahuah.
10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

We have seen Noah cursing the seed of Ham for exposing the nakedness of his father. In this study we will focus on the spiritual meaning of Japheth (father of Gentiles) coming into the tents of the Shem (father of the Hebrews).

With this background we now need to compare spiritual with spiritual to understand how the seed of Japheth i.e. Gentiles come back to the tents of Shem.

We have no shadow of doubt that the OT was written in Paleo Hebrew which is the Ktav Ivri script as Moses was given the commandments written on tablets of stone written by the finger of Alahim. The question is, was the New Testament written in Greek? The Oldest Manuscript of Greek is dated between 175 AD to 225 AD called the Papyrus 46. This is 200 years after the Messiah.  The other 5000 odd of Greek manuscripts are only copies of this. We have been taught right from childhood that the New Testament was written in Greek but the only historical proof we have is Papyrus 46 and that too 200 years after Messiah. After the death of the apostles and with the destruction of Jerusalem the Jews were scattered all across the globe and were without a nation until 1948. The Bible has its own history and we must find evidence from it to see whether the New Testament was written in Greek or Hebrew. The argument is based on the gospel going out in different languages on the day of Pentecost when the Jews who were scattered abroad had come to Jerusalem to celebrate the feast of Pentecost and these Jews heard the marvelous works of Alahim in their own languages.

Ac 2:5 ¶ And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10  Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of Alahim
12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

These Jews were surprised and were in doubt. They doubted because Alahim had never spoken to them but through the Hebrew by the mouth of the prophets and here they were hearing the wonderful works of Alahim in their own languages.

There is no doubt that the wonderful works of Alahim was heard in different tongues. But does that mean that now names, feasts, ordinances (I'm speaking of the spiritual observance and not literal) etc would change with believers now adapting the customs of the world by worshiping Alahim in their own way?

Joh 4:20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
21 Yahusha saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

Yahusha told the Samaritan woman that salvation is of the Jews. This is not speaking of a literal seed of Abraham but the spiritual seed i.e. those who believe in the Messiah are counted as spiritual Jews.

Ro 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
Ro 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of Alahim.

The message of the cross did go out in different languages but as per the words of the Messiah salvation is of the Jews. This means that the Gentiles coming back to the tents of Shem are the spiritual Jews. The change in them is that they now have Hebraic roots in them and are in their journey back to the tents of Shem not the other way around. Those changing the Turah of Yahuah to the Gentile or Greek customs are not the spiritual Jews.

Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of Alahim;
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Yahusha Messiah himself being the chief corner stone.

Paul  taught that we are no more strangers and foreigners but fellowcitizens with the saints of the household of Alahim built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. Paul also taught that we Gentiles being branches of the wild olive tree were grafted into the olive tree which was natural i.e. Israel of Alahim. He teaches that you do not bear the root but the root thee.

Ro 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.

This is a clear evidence that Alahim's Turah cannot be changed. It's now by his Ruach Ha'Quodesh (Holy Spirit) understood as it was intended to be understood and that is, spiritually. Not one yod or kotz of a yod will be done away with until all is fulfilled.

Joh 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Yahusha asked us to search the scriptures as they testify of him and when he said that there was the OT written in Hebrew. How would a Gentile now a spiritual Jew search the scriptures in Hebrew when he doesn't know Hebrew? Wouldn't he depend on a translation in his own language to lead him back to the tents of Shem. Of course he would and that's why the gospel went out in different languages with now the Ruach Ha'Quodesh being poured out leading children of Japheth back to the tents of Shem through the spirit of prophecy.

The fact is by the Ruach Ha'Quodesh (Holy Spirit) the believer would search for Messiah in the resource of a translation in his language bringing him right to the roots (tents of Shem) to see the glory of Messiah, not vice versa.

Today we have millions of Messiahians referring to the Greek concordance/Greek study tools to find out meaning of words rather than searching in Hebrew what was meant to get a better understanding. They fail to see that the translations corrupted over a period of time changing times and laws and even the name of Yahuah and Yahusha were changed to pagan titles like Baali, Gad (Lord, God in English) etc. That's why we have Messiahians calling on the name of JESUS which is a Greek translation which has its roots to the Greek god Zeus.

Isa 19:18 ¶ In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to Yahuah of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.
19 In that day shall there be an altar to Yahuah in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to Yahuah.
20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto Yahuah of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto Yahuah because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.
21 And Yahuah shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know Yahuah in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto Yahuah, and perform it.
22 And Yahuah shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to Yahuah, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.
23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.

When we compare who Egypt is we find this scripture:

Re 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Yahusha was crucified.

Isaiah 19: 18-25 doesn't mean that the nations of Egypt and Assyria would turn to Yahuah as a nation but speaks of his people who were turned astray to the customs of Egypt and Assyria coming back to him.

Isa 19:25 Whom Yahuah of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.

We must understand that Israel was in captivity both in Egypt and Assyria and they brought with them the false worship style of these nations rather than obeying the pattern given in his Turah by Yahuah. When they came out of Egypt and Assyria, they carried their language and rose up and played the harlot by renaming Yahuah to the Egyptian gods.

Isa 11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that Yahuah shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

Yahuah says that he will set his HAND A SECOND TIME to recover the remant of his people from Egypt, Assyria and uttermost parts of the earth.

We must read Isaiah 19:18-25 in the light of this. Yahuah says in Isaiah 19:18 that in that day Egypt will speak the language of Canaan. The language of Canaan was the proto Canaanite script which Adam to Noah and their sons spoke before the Turah was given in Paleo Hebrew (which is very much similar to proto Canaanite script).

Ge 4:26 And to Seth (son of Adam), to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of Yahuah.

Isa 19:18 ¶ In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to Yahuah of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.

When we read Gen 11 we see the whole world was of one language and that was the Proto Canaanite script. The people rebelled against Yahuah by building a stronghold reaching to the sky and Yahuah confused their language and dispersed them in confusion.

Ge 11:1 ¶ And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.

Ge 11:9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because Yahuah did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did Yahuah scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

Yahuah is saying in Isaiah 19:18 that those dispersed in confusion they would speak the language of Canaan i.e. they would understand the language as when men called on the name of Yahuah and swore to him. Alahim used these confused languages to bring his people back to understand his Aleph-Bet at Pentecost. In Isaiah 11:11 we also read Yahuah saying that he would bring his remnant even from the land of Shinar, Shinar is Babylon. Once we turn to the Messiah the confusion is dispelled. If the confusion still remains then you don't have the true Messiah but are believing in a false messiah who cannot save. In Isaiah 19:18-25 Yahuah uses Assyria symbolically to show us that the Ktav Ashurit language adopted by Israel in captivity and which till date is their holy tongue, will result in his remnant seeing this truth and turning to a pure language.

The prophet Isaiah shows a beautiful picture of this cleansing of tongue when he sees Yahuah of hosts in a vision and heard pure words which made him feel his lips are unclean, not that he used offensive language but he too had adopted the Ashurit tongue which Israel brought back from Babylonian captivity.

Isa 6:5 ¶ Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, Yahuah of hosts
6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
Isaiah was commissioned to conceal the pure words that he would receive from Yahuah in a language which would keep them away from Yahuah.

Paul also said that he was caught up into paradise and heard unspeakable words which is witheld (nim'na) for a man to utter.

2 Corin 12:4. ho`alah ‘el-hapar’des wayish’ma` d’bariym nis’tariym ‘asher nim’na` me’iysh l’malalam

2Co 12:4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard concealed/hidden (nis’tariym ) words, which is witheld (nim'na) from man to utter.

Isa 6:9 ¶ And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

Yet in his mercy, be it Ashurit, Greek, Latin, English or any language of the world Yahuah would gather his people unto him thus bringing them back to the tents of Shem.

The word gone out of Yahuah's mouth shall cause every knee to bow and every TONGUE to swear. In verse 25 he goes on to say that in Yahuah shall all seed of Israel be justified and shall glory.

Isa 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
24 Surely, shall one say, in Yahuah have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed (waxed hot in anger) against him shall be ashamed.
25 In Yahuah shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

Zep 3:8 ¶ Therefore wait ye upon me, saith Yahuah until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of Yahuah to serve him with one consent.

Men who called on the name of Yahuah in the days of Seth (Gen 4:26) later were dispersed in confusion of Babel because they served not Alahim with one consent but rebelled against him.But here we have Yahuah promising that he will turn to the people a pure language that they may all call upon his name to serve HIM WITH ONE CONSENT.

Ps 114:1 ¶ When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;
2 Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.

Ps 81:5 This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.

We read in Isaiah 11:11 that for a second time Yahuah will recover his remnant from Egypt, Assyria, from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. Yahuah will recover his remnant out from a people of strange language, from a language that Asaph says in his Psalms (81:5) which he understood not. We see this in spiritual comparison.

With this background we will now need to see evidence from New Testament which show that the scriptures written by the apostles and prophets were in Hebrew

Ro 1:16 ¶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of  the Messiah: for it is the power of Alahim unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Paul using 'to the Jew first' is evidence that the gospel of Messiah went in the Hebrew tongue first and also to the Greek.

Evidence of Hebrew in New Testament: There are many words which the Greek kept intact because there were no equivalent words in the Greek for the Hebrew words. Let's look at a few.

Abba: KJV Mr 14:36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty Alahim, The everlasting Father (Ahba), The Prince of Peace.

The word 'Abba' is from the Hebrew word 'Ahba' and KJV translates it into English as 'Abba' keeping the pronunication intact. Ahba means Father. Isn't it strange that the Greek word for father is 'pater' and the Greek manuscript keeps the word Abha unchanged and yet places pater after it: 'Abha pater'? In English it would translate as 'father father' and that's absurd.

Hosanna: Pslams 118:25. ‘ana’ Yahúah hoshi`ah na’ ‘ana’ Yahúah hats’lichah na’.
26. baruk haba’ b’shem Yahúah berak’nukem mibeyth Yahúah.

Ps 118:25 Save now, I beseech thee, (Hoshana) O Yahuah: O Yahuah I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of Yahuah: we have blessed you out of the house of Yahuah.

Joh 12:13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of Yahuah (name replaced from the LORD as KJV portrays).

Amen: Numbers 5:22. uba’u hamayim ham’ar’rim ha’eleh b’me`ayik lats’both beten w’lan’pil yarek w’am’rah ha’ishah ‘amen ‘amen.

Nu 5:22 And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.

1Jo 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

ephphatha: Mr 7:34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.

Malachi 3:10. habi’u ‘eth-kal-hama`aser ‘el-beyth ha’otsar wihitereph b’beythi ub’chanuni na’ bazo’th ‘amar Yahúwah ts’ba’oth ‘im-lo’ ‘eph’tach lakem ‘eth ‘aruboth hashamayim wahariqothi lakem b’rakah `ad-b’li-day.

Mal3:10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this, says Yahuah of hosts, if I will not open (‘eph’tach) for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.

Corban: Mr 7:11 But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.

Lev 1:2. daber ‘el-b’ney Yis’ra’El w’amar’at ‘alehem ‘adam ki-yaq’rib mikem qar’ban laYahúah min-hab’hemah min-habaqar umin-hatso’n taq’ribu ‘eth-qar’ban’kem.

Lev 1:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering (qar'ban) unto Yahuah, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock.

Raca: Mt 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire

Proverbs 12:11. `obed ‘ad’matho yis’ba`-lachem um’radeph reyq chasar-leb.

Pr 12:11 ¶ He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain(reyq) persons is void of understanding.

Eli Eli lama Sabachthani: (When Pharasees got it wrong how could Greek get this right? They got it wrong too and hence the English renders it as Eli Eli lama Sabachthani whereas the Messiah uttered Ahlay Ahlay Lamah Ayzabatanay)

When Yahusha uttered these words the Pharasees who were so well versed with Ktav Ashurit couldn't understand what he was saying and assumed Messiah was calling for help from Elijah. They couldn't grasp the pure Paleo Hebrew out from the lips of Yahusha

Mt 27:46 And about the ninth hour Yahusha cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My Alahim, my Alahim why hast thou forsaken me?

Mr 15:35 And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias.

36 And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.

Let's look at Psalms 22:1 in Paleo Hebrew

Psalms 22:1 Ahlay Ahlay Lamah Ayzabatanay rachauq mayashauaytay dabaray shagatay

The Ketav Ashurit script from Hebrew Interlinear :

אֵלִ֣י אֵלִ֣י לָמָ֣ה עֲזַבְתָּ֑נִי

Hebrew reads from right to left: The Vowel points added to Psalms 22:1 gave the pronunciation as ’ê-lî ’ê-lî ‘ă-zaḇ-tā-nî; and that's how Pharasees would read Hebrew from Psalms 22:1. So when Yahusha uttered 'Ahlay Ahlay Lamah Ayzabatanay' they couldn't understand and thought he is calling Elijah for help. They didn't realize Yahusha was quoting and fulfilling Psalms 22:1.

Lastly it is assumed that Paul was well versed with Greek and hence wrote all his epistles in Greek. This is mere speculation. We can see evidence from Pauls epistles that he spoke and wrote in Hebrew.

Paul specifically addressed Yahudite (spiritual Jews) of the Corinthian assembly:

1Co 10:1 ¶ Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea

Paul also wrote the letter of Hebrews to the Hebrews. Just imagine Paul writing to the Jews in Greek. James was an apostle to the Jews, just imagine James writing to the Jews in Greek. It just doesn't fit and there is plenty of evidence from scriptures that they wrote in Hebrew.

Ac 22:1 ¶ Men, brethren, and fathers, hear ye my defence which I make now unto you.
2 (And when they heard that he spake in the Hebrew tongue to them, they kept the more silence: and he saith,)
3 ¶ I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward Alahim, as ye all are this day.

Appointing elders in the church:

Ac 14:20 Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.
21 And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch,
22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of Alahim.
23 And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to Yahusha on whom they believed.

Who were these elders whom the apostles appointed? Were they new Greek converts?

1Pe 5:1 ¶ The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of the Messiah, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:

Peter exhorts the elders and says that he himself is also an elder who witnessed the sufferings of the Messiah. So these elders who were appointed were witnesses of the crucifixation and were Jews. John called himself as an elder

2Jo 1:1 ¶ The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;

An Overseer of the flock Paul said should not be a novice. Just imagine the Greeks who came into the church who were new converts taking over the church as elders, overseers and deacons, what a chaos it would be because they would not know the law of Alahim or would not have the teaching capability until they spent time searching and learning scriptures taught to them as Titus did who was a Greek and under Paul had learnt and studied the scriptures.

1Ti 3:6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.

Paul claimed Ac 24:14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I Alahim of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

Was Paul lying or had a double standard? No he was honest. He was a Jew and worshiped Alahim of his fathers believing all things which were written in the law and the prophets and taught it to the Gentiles.

"Law and prophets" refers to the Old Testament Scriptures. Which culture, world-view, and mentality should prevail among True Worshipers today? A Greek-gentile heritage? Or the birthright of those grafted into the promised of Israel?

The elders appointed were those laboring in the word and doctrine of the apostles. Paul quotes OT scripture from the law of Moses stating that the ox who treadeth out the corn it's mouth should not be muzzled, Paul also quoted Moses law stating not to receive an accusation against and elder but before two or three witnesses.

1Ti 5:17 ¶ Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.
19 Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.

De 25:4 Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn.

De 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

One who observed the law spiritually would never ask to change it to suit the Greeks or Gentiles.

Proof that the Hebrews took care of the church. Acts 6:1 records the Hellinists i.e Jews who spoke Greek murmured against the Hebrews because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.

Ac 6:1 ¶ And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.

The church continued STEDFASTLY in the APOSTLES DOCTRINE.

Ac 2:42 ¶ And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Timothy was both Greek and Jew but brought up by his mother in the Jewish custom. Paul commended the faith that was in Timothy's grandmother and his mother and which is in him now. Though his father was a Greek, his mother had brought him up in the Hebrew faith.

Ac 16:1 ¶ Then came he to Derbe and Lystra: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timotheus, the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewess, and believed; but his father was a Greek:
2 Which was well reported of by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium.
3 Him would Paul have to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Jews which were in those quarters: for they knew all that his father was a Greek.
4 And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.

In Acts 16:4 we have further proof that when Paul and those who followed him went through the cities they delivered the church the decrees to be kept that were ordained of the apostles and elders who were at Jerusalem.

2Ti 1:5 When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.

Titus was a Greek and spent a long time under Paul till he was discipled to understand the apostles doctrine and the scriptures that made him wise.

Tit 1:4 To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from Alahim the Father and the Master Yahusha Messiah our Saviour.
5 ¶ For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:

Ga 2:3 But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:

Paul warns Titus to avoid genealogies, contentions and strivings about the law which shows Titus knew the law well.

Tit 3:9 ¶ But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

Paul 9 times mentions Titus when he wrote the epistle to the Corinthian church . Lastly the instance that Paul mentions where he took with him Titus to Jerusalem was of Acts 15 which shows that Titus was with Paul for a very long time before being ordained an elder of a church which Paul committed to his trust. There were no new converts who were Greeks who ever were ordained elders, bishops or deacons of the church.

There is so much of evidence of our Hebraic roots and unless one finds this one is lost in his sins because it takes him back to a greek gad Jesus who cannot save. The whole world is calling on the name of the beast and are wondering after the beast. My prayer is through this study and spiritual comparison the reader would see his journey back to the tents of Shem, being grafted into the olive tree from where we receive the golden oil.

For serious truth seekers you can may study the OT and NT Hebrew to see if what I say is true. There is a good online Paleo bible at

http://www.bayithamashiyach.com/Scriptures.html

Lastly let's read Rev 9

Re 9:7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.Re 9:8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.

Re 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

These locusts from the bottomless pit who are Satan's emissaries have faces of men and hair of woman which shows that they distort the headship of Messiah by portraying a Greek messiah jesus which is the name of the beast. The king over these locusts has a name in Hebrew and in Greek. When the Greek culture i.e. a greek god portrayed by corrupt Rome has changed times and laws and has taken dominion deceiving the whole world the whole world wondered after the beast

Re 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

We are seeing prophecy fulfilled as the whole world marvels after a greek gad jesus which Rome portrays with long hair just as John saw in the vision the locusts having faces of men but long hair of women.
The Hebrew are not left behind in deception. They have forsaken the true and pure language for Ktav Ashurit which is pagan and hence when the Messiah came to his own they rejected him because they couldn't understand prophecy. We saw the proof that when Messiah fulfilled Psalms 22:1 by utterance, they couldn't understand the Hebrew that came from his lips and thought he called for Elijah for help. They went in an outward show of holiness by observing the law of Moses carnally.

1Co 11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

The Woman (Covenant Israel) has to come under the headship of Messiah and be hid in him as his rib or else she outside Messiah will be the harlot. A carnal observance of the Nazarene vow wouldn't help them get close to Alahim but to believe on the Son of the Most High that will save them. The true Nazarene is Yahusha and all those who cling to him.

May Yahuah bless those who understand these things

'Dabar' of Alahim

In our previous study ‘Camel through the eye of the needle’ we saw how Alahim entered into his creation through the ‘gamal’ which is the rich man chasing the poor man to do him charity. We see this fulfilled by Yahusha who for our sake became poor that we might be rich. He is our kinsman redeemer who was smitten for our sins.
In this study we will see how Alahim entered into creation and creation gets enjoined to him.

Though the word ‘dabar’ appears first time in Gen 11 (as a one language in the world which Alahim confused we will see what ‘dabar’ means in relation to Babel a little later) the ‘dabar’ is what proceeded from Alahim’s mouth framing the worlds which we can read from Isaiah 55:11 and Hebrews 11:3. We see ‘dabar’ proceeding out of his mouth which made everything according to his will and purpose and it will not return to him void.

Heb 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word (dabar) of Alahim, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

**** The Hebrew New Testament uses the word ‘dabar’ in Hebrews 11:3 which is equivalent to the Greek word ‘rhema’ used here*****

Isa 55:11 So shall my word (dabar) be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

In paleo Hebrew ‘dabar’ is a Da Ba Ra i.e dalet beyth resh . The pictograph is of ‘a doorway leading to the tent in whom is the firsthead’. See below:

Looking at the pictograph we can see that ‘dabar’ is the testimony of Yahusha which is the ‘spirit of prophecy’ because through the spirit of prophecy Alahim leads us to the ‘Resh’ i.e. the first head of the house from the doorway into the tent.

Joh 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Joh 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath Alahim the Father sealed.

Re 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Yahusha: worship Alahim: for the testimony of Yahusha is the spirit of prophecy.

The first words that proceeded out of Alahim’s mouth in scripture is recorded in Gen 1:3 and Paul tells us what Alahim meant when he said “Let there be light”

Ge 1:3 ¶ And Alahim said, Let there be light: and there was light.

2Co 4:6 For Alahim, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of Alahim in the face of Mashiak Yahusha.

Though Gen 1:3 doesn’t use the word ‘dabar’ but from Isaiah 55:11 we understand that the dabar that proceeded out of his mouth had a purpose and that purpose was Yahusha, his only begotten Son through whom the whole creation is enjoined to himself. It’s the testimony which Alahim gave of his Son.

1Jo 5:10 ¶ He that believeth on the Son of Alahim hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not Alahim hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that Alahim gave of his Son.

Just as the usage of the Greek word ‘Rhema’ which is used to show Quickening and is Yahuah’s manifestation, even so the word dabar also means the same.

Ps 119:25 ¶ DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word (dabar).

Psalms 119 has all the ‘Aleph-Bet’ of the Hebrew language and we can see the usage of the word ‘dabar’ in the DALET section to see the quickening & strength, of Mashiak in Alahim’s dabar.

Ps 119:28 ¶ My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word (dabar).

Now let’s look at how Alahim testifies of his Son through Abraham

Ge 12:1 ¶ Now Yahuah had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

We see Alahim asking Abraham to come out of his father’s house and makes a promise to Abraham and the promise is that he would make Abraham a great nation and that he would be blessed.

Abraham was 75 years old when he got away from his father’s house and was already an old man. He was childless.

Alahim faithfulness can be seen in the following verse in guarding Sarah by his dabar because from her was promised the seed which is Yahusha our Yahuah.

We see two instances where Abraham in his sojourning tells Pharaoh and Abimelech that Sarah is his sister because he feared they would kill him if he told them she was his wife because she was beautiful to behold. Alahim guarded Sarah by his ‘dabar’. KJV doesn’t mention the word and omits it but just before ‘Sarah’ the word ‘dabar’ is mentioned. Alahim was guarding Sarah because through her lineage his Son would come forth.

Ge 12:15 The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house.16 And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels. 17 And Yahuah plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of <dabar> Sarai Abram's wife.

Ge 20:18 For Yahuah had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of <dabar> Sarah Abraham's wife.

Ga 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Messiah.17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of Alahim in Messiah, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

KJV also wrongly translates ‘dabar’ as ‘anything’ in English

Ge 18:13 And Yahuah said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? 14 Is any thing (dabar) too hard for Yahuah? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

Verse 14 should read “Is dabar too hard for Yahuah?” This is the testimony Alahim gives of his Son through the promise made to Abraham.

We see a similar verse in Jeremiah

Jer 32:17 Ah Yahuah Yahuah! behold, thou hast made the Aleph Tav heaven and the Waw Aleph Tav earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and is dabar too hard for thee: (kjv translates it as nothing)

Abraham saw the promise afar off and welcomed it, he was glad to see the day of Mashiak

Joh 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
When did Abraham see the day of Mashiak? When he believed and fulfilled ‘dabar’

Ge 22:1 ¶ And it came to pass after these things (dabar), that Alahim did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.

The verse should read correctly as : Ge 22:1 ¶ And it came to pass following dabar that Alahim did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. Ge 22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

Ge 22:16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith Yahuah, for because thou hast done this thing (dabar), and hast not withheld thy son, thine only

“ ..because thou has done dabar…”

By willing to sacrifice his only son ‘ABRAHAM DID DABAR’. He displayed Alahim’s character of deep love of giving his only son as a sacrifice. Abraham saw this promise afar off and named the place where he offered the ram in the place of his son as ‘Yahuah Yarah’

Ge 22:13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. 14 And Abraham called the name of that place Yahuah Yaraha: as it is said to this day, In the mount of Yahuah it shall be seen.

Let’s see ‘Yahuah Yaraha’ in paleo Hebrew

Yaraha in ancient Hebrew pictograph: Ya is a hand, Ra is first head, Ah is the leader and Ha is behold. Put together Yahuah Yaraha means  Yahuah’s hand is beheld in the first head who is the leader i.e Mashiak

Yahuah extended his hand and gave us his only begotten Son. Abraham displayed dabar just as Alahim did.

Heb 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, 18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: 19 Accounting that Alahim was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.

We see Alahim’s Sovereignty in choosing for Isaac a wife before even Abraham sent his servant to bring her for his son. Alahim ensured his ‘dabar’ reached his intended purpose fulfilling his will thus preserving Abraham’s lineage from where his Son would come forth.

Ge 22:20 ¶ And it came to pass following dabar, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she hath also born children unto thy brother Nahor;21 Huz his firstborn, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram,22 And Chesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Jidlaph, and Bethuel. 23 And Bethuel begat Rebekah: these eight Milcah did bear to Nahor, Abraham's brother.

Ge 24:15 And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.16 And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.

Finally let’s see John tying up the Son to dabar and barashaiyth

Hebrew New Testament

John 1:1. b’re’shiyth hayah hadabar w’hadabar hayah ‘eth ha’Alahim w’Alahim hayah hadabar

Usage of ‘hayah’ : Ex 3:14 And Alahim said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM (hayah asher hayah): and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM (hayah) hath sent me unto you.

John 1:1 In the beginning I am behold Dabar and behold Dabar I am Alpeh Tav behold Alahim and Alahim I am behold Dabar.

John is tying the Son to the beginning with Alahim as the Dabar and is showing the Dabar was Alahim. The Greek word Logos is the Hebrew word Dabar.

Babel’s dabar:

Ge 11:1 ¶ And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech (dabar). 2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

Babel is rebellion towards Alahim’s revelation of who he is and is a misrepresentation of his dabar. Hence the one dabar of babel is a doorway leading to a house where the first head is misrepresented.

Mal 2:17 Ye have wearied Yahuah with your words (dabar). Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of Yahuah, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the Alahim of judgment?

Mal 3:13 ¶ Your words (dabar) have been stout against me, saith Yahuah. Yet ye say, What have we spoken (dabar) so much against thee?

In conclusion just as the Aleph Tav which is the mark of Yahusha, Alahim’s dabar is Alahim himself who pierced into time, space and matter as he created and he created all things for a purpose and his purpose is accomplished in Mashiak. Yahuah has become my Yahusha

Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Rev 19:13

13. w’hu’ labush l’bush m’adam badam ush’mo niq’ra’ d’bar ha’Alahim.

Re 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Dabar of Alahim.

Eph 6:17

17. uq’chu ‘eth-koba` hay’shu`ah w’chereb haRuach shehiy’ d’bar ha’Alahim.

Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Dabar of Alahim:

Re 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty Alahim.

The one from whose mouth proceeds the sharp sword whose name is called Dabar of Alahim is Yahusha.

Camel through the eye of the needle

Mt 19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel (gamal) to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of Alahym.

There have been many interpretations concerning the camel going through the eye of the needle. Traditionalists interpret this stating in Yerusalem there was a gate named ‘Eye of the needle’ through which at night (since the main gate was closed) the camels were made to pass through it. Yet others teach that the Greek word ‘kamelos’ is a mistake of translators when copying the word, they say it should have been copied as ‘gamla’ which means rope in Aramaic. They say it makes more sense to remove the rope thread by thread to make it pass through the eye of the needle. They say it spiritually means the rich man would have to dismantle his riches one by one as each thread to pass through the eye of the needle.

This may look like a difficult passage to handle and that’s if we look at it in Greek/Aramaic, but we must see whom Yahusha was addressing to see truth. We know that the scriptures are spiritual and hence the spiritual is hidden in the letter.

Yahusha was addressing a rich man who was a Yahudi. Yahudi's were rich in the covenant

Rom 9:4 who are the sons of Yasharal, to whom belongs the adoption as sons, and the glory and the covenants and the giving of the Turah and the temple service and the promises,
Rom 9:5 whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh the Mashiyach came, who is over all Alahym blessed forever. Aman

One thing we must keep in mind is that Yahusha is speaking to a Yahudi observing the law and hence he would have definitely spoken to him in Hebrew and not in Greek/Aramaic. The translation in the Greek is poor and the essence of what Mashiyach was saying is lost completely.

Let’s view the passages and then see what the Hebrew words are:

Mt 19:16 ¶ And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, Alahim: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. 18 He saith unto him, Which? Yahusha said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

Here was a rich man, a Jew who was seeking eternal life by observing the Turah. Yahusha quotes to him 6 commandments out of the Ten Commandments summarizing the commandment related to ‘neighbor’ as ‘Thou shall love thy neighbor as thy self’.

The question one would have is here why did Mashiak not quote all the Ten Commandments? Let’s list all the other commandments which Mashiak did not quote directly:

1)     De 5:6 ¶ I am Yahuah Alahim, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
2)   De 5:8 Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:
3)  De 5:11 Thou shalt not take the name of Yahuah in vain: for Yahuah will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
4)  De 5:12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as Yahuah thy Alahim hath commanded thee.

Mark & Luke only records 5 commandments listed by Mashiak.

Does this mean that this young man was observing the others which Mashiak did not list? That’s not what it means.

Yahusha did quote to him all the Ten Commandments and here is where he quoted them. We need to see an exegesis of the passage to understand this:

When the young man addressed Mashiak as ‘Good Master’ he told him
Mt 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, Alahim: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

Doing first 4 commandments would be a result of understanding who Alahim is and that he is ‘GOOD’ and his goodness revealed through the Turah which the rich man was far away from seeing it. We see this goodness of Alahim in the words ‘camel going through the eye of the needle’.

Wiwad ahnay ahmar lakam nakal lagamal libar banakab hamachat

The Hebrew words for camel going through the eye of the needle is ‘lagamal banaqab hamachat’.

‘Gamal’ is the 3rd Alphabet of Hebrew and in Paleo Hebrew is portrayed with a pictograph of a ‘camel’. ‘Gamal’ is a rich man running after a poor man to do to him charity.

In Numbers 5:8, Lev 25:26 & Ruth 3:9 ‘gamal’ letter is used for kinsman redeemer. The word is 'ga'al'

Nu 5:8 But if the man have no kinsman (ga'al) to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto Yahuah, even to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.

Le 25:25 If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold. 26 And if the man have none to redeem (ga'al) it, and himself be able to redeem it;

Usage of Gamal in Lev 25:25:

The word is wa Ga Ah la. The waw is a connector, connecting the kins man to the brother. The usage of letter Ga is the pictograph of a camel.Ga (camel) ah (Aleph the leader ) and la ( lamed which means yoked). The waw connects to the brother i.e haqarob elayu: One near to him. Hence its a picture of Mashiak

Ru 3:8 And it came to pass at midnight, that the man (Boaz) was afraid, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet. 9 And he said, Who art thou? And she answered, I am Ruth thine handmaid: spread therefore thy skirt over thine handmaid; for thou art a near kinsman (ga'al).

It’s a beautiful picture of Alahim who is the ‘gamal’ chasing after man to do him charity i.e. save him in the person of Yahusha. Yahuah has become our Yahusha.

Job 19:25 For I know that my redeemer (ga'al) liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

The one who will stand at the latter day upon the earth is the Son of Alahim and he is the 'ga'al' that liveth.

The Gematria value of Gamal is ‘3’, Aleph’s Gematrial value is ‘1’ and Bet’s Gematrial value is 2 , hence Gamal is spiritually Aleph + Bet = Ahba which means ‘Father’. The Father who is transcendent pierced into time, space and matter to redeem his creation in relating everything back to him through his Son.

Ga 4:6 And because ye are sons, Alahim hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

We see the Ruach of the Father hovering over the waters to pierce into them to fish out unto him a people whom he loves.

Ge 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Alahim moved upon the face of the waters.

We saw in our study ‘Ab and the Aleph Bet’ on the same blog that The 'Aleph-Bet' together spells out the 'Language' without which mankind wouldn't be able to connect to HIM. In fact the first letter in the Bible begins with a 'Bet' and not the Aleph.

The beginning of creation is related to him through the ‘Bara’ in the ‘Barashaiyth’. ‘Bara’ means to create and ‘bara’ comprises of Bet, Resh & Aleph and ‘shaiyth’ comprises of Shin, Yod & Tav.

The Hebrew word “barashaiyth” is comprised of the Hebrew letters BET (the equivalent of our letter “B”, pictured in the ancient Hebrew as a House or Tent, and meaning house, as in “the house of David”)
RESH (R)(pictured as a man’s head, meaning the first or highest person.
ALEPH (A) (pictured as an ox head, meaning Alahim is my strength).
SHIN (Sh) (pictured as two teeth, meaning to consume or destroy).
YOD (Y) (pictured as an arm from the fist to the elbow, meaning my hand).
TAV (T) (pictured as two crossed sticks, meaning a mark or covenant).

Put together we see the Yod family i.e. the Father and the Son creating everything in perspective of the Son relating to the Father. This doesn’t mean that the Son pre-existed as some 2nd person besides the Father but through the word ‘Barashaiyth’, Alahim is showing his plan which he had ‘In the beginning’ to create man into his image and likeness and the image and likeness would be of the Son.

Ro 8:29 ¶ For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Coming back to ‘Gamal’, the Father has pierced his creation by his Ruach in becoming the kinsman redeemer of his creation when he divided asunder his Ruach from his Soul to give his creation his Son by whom he made all things.

Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible Alahim, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

‘Camel’ was considered to be a beast of burden and we see the burden of our sin and our yoke taken upon himself by Yahusha.

Mt 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

2Co 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Yahuah Yahusha Mashiak, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

The yoke which is easy and the burden which is light is the riches of the kingdom that the Son gives to all those who come to him.

If one would know who the ‘kinsman redeemer’ is and what he has done for us and that he has been working right from ‘in the beginning’ in saving his creation would one understand the first 4 commandments which speak of ‘Alahim, his deliverance, his image, his name and his rest’

The young man who was a Jew was far from understanding who Alahim was. In his uncertain riches he couldn’t see the richest person of the universe was standing right before him having become poor unloading all his riches unto his own people.

Hence the word used in Matthew 19:24  ‘la gammal’ would mean ‘the kinsman redeemer with our yoke’.

The ‘yokes’ were exchanged between Mashiak and us. What a beautiful Savior we have.

Now that we have seen ‘gammal’ let’s see the next word ‘banaqab’:

The word ‘naqab’ in primitive use was ‘to puncture’ or ‘to pierce’ or ‘to express’ or ‘strike through’

Hence we see with the two words ‘gammal ba naqab’ the rich man piercing through the house.

Hab 3:14 Thou didst strike through (naqab) with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.

Isa 36:6 Lo, thou trustest in the staff of this broken reed, on Egypt; whereon if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it (naqab): so is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all that trust in him.

Ba naqab: Bet nun quph Bet.
Bet means Tent or house
Nun means life as in life of the Son
Quph means time
Bet again means Tent or house

It spiritually means the life of the Son was expressed into time in the house.
Hence ‘Gammal Banaqab’ means ‘The life of the Father was emptied and expressed into time in the house by the Son’

Now let’s view the last word ‘ha machat’:

Ha means ‘behold’
‘Machat’ means ‘to pierce’, ‘to smite’, ‘to wound’: ha machat means ‘ behold the smitten’

‘Gammal Banaqab hamachat’ would mean ‘The life of the Father was emptied and expressed/pierced into time in the house by the Son’, behold the life is smitten’

This is what ‘camel going through the eye of the needle means’.

Mt 19:25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? 26 But Yahusha beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with Alahim all things are possible.

We see the disciples amazed and asking Mashiak who then can be saved?

Mashiak tells them, with men this is impossible but with Alahim all things are possible. Alahim began the emptying with himself piercing into time bestowing his riches on to us and taking our sin our shame and our poverty on to himself.

For us who trust in him we are called to walk in his footsteps:

1Pe 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Messiah also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

‘la gamal ba naqab ha machat’ for us means ‘ A yoked walk with the Son beholding the expression of his life, being smitten with him’

Heb 13:13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his (Yahusha’s) reproach.

Ga 2:20 I am crucified with Messiah: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Messiah liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of Alahim, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

There are many things which Mashiak spoke in Hebrew which is translated poorly in Greek. For example:

Mt 23:24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

The Hebrew word for 'gnat' is 'ken' and for 'camel' is 'gammal'

YLT Exodus 8:16-19 Then Yahuah said to Moses, "Tell Aaron, 'Stretch out your staff and strike the dust of the ground,' and throughout the land of Egypt the dust will become gnats." They did this, and when Aaron stretched out his hand with the staff and struck the dust of the ground, gnats came on people and animals. All the dust throughout the land of Egypt became gnats. But when the magicians tried to produce gnats by their secret arts, they could not.

Mashiak was calling Pharasees hypocrites because they by their tradition were straining out the 'ken' (gnat) physically unclean things out but were swallowing the righteous things/walk denoted by the 'gammal'.
